Riley Anderson sat in her seat in class, feeling bored. Her teacher, Mr. Montfort, was droning on and on about the pythagorean theorem. She much rather be back out on the ice, but sadly she required a second period Algebra class.
'This blows chunks' Riley thought tiresome.
Although the feeling of boredom quickly left as the tingling sensation entered her hand. As well as turned into startling fear as she noticed it without her intention nor control.
'What the?!' Riley frantically thought as her left hand snatched up her pencil and started scratching some words down on her paper. No matter how much she wanted it to stop.
'Make it stop, I don't like this!' She wanted to scream but couldn't push it out of her throat. In fact, she could barely make any noise for that matter.
Finally, her hand stopped moving as well as writing. Yet it still tingled for some reason. Riley looked down at the paper, bewildered by what it wrote.
Dno't Pnaic, tihs is yuor bairn. I dno't hvae mcuh tmie, it cna't dciehper scblramed wrods, get hlep, it's already insdie of you.
Riley eyes widen as her frantic thoughts played scrabble with most of the message. Understanding what it said but not what it meant. All she knew was she wanted to scream but couldn't.
The tingling sparks up once more as her hand resumes movement with the pencil. Writing something below the prior message.
Never mind, you're fine and happy, Riley!
Her hand sat down with the pencil. The tingling left her hand, no longer feeling like it had been asleep. In fact, all the fright and bewilderment left her as well. She looked up at Mr. Montfort, wanting to say or ask something, but couldn't recall what exactly.
She just felt compelled to smile, her eyes glued to the board and her mind suddenly lost in the teacher's words. Even if it didn't make a lick of sense to her ears.
'This Pygmalion Theorem stuff is the best!' Riley thought happily with a smile on her face.
