In honor of Emilia's birthday, I present to you this half-assed one shot.
"TODAY'S THE DAY."
Subaru announced as he sat up from his bed, startling the twin maids beside his bed.
"What day is it today, Subaru?" Rem asked Subaru.
"Today's the day I glue your mouth shut, Barusu." Ram retorted, sounding as annoyed as always.
Wait, they have glue in this world? Subaru questioned himself before coming back to his senses.
"Nevermind that, Today is September 23rd, meaning its Emilia's birthday!" Subaru shouted excitedly.
For the past 2 months Subaru has been counting down to this day, since today is a special day for Emilia.
"Oh yes, I almost forgot." Rem said quietly, thinking back to her most recent birthday.
Flashback to Rem's birthday:
"Guess what day it is today, Subaru?" Rem asked Subaru.
"Groundhog day?" Subaru remembered that February 2nd was groundhog day back in his world.
Man that holiday is useless.
"Today is Rem's Birthday!" Rem said with excitement.
"Oh wow, happy birthday Rem!" Subaru told the blue haired maid.
Don't forget me, Barusu, where is my happy birthday." Ram asked Subaru coldly.
"So Rem, do you want anything? I feel bad i didn't give you anything, so i will get you anything you ask!"
"In that case, I would like to spend the day with you down in the village, just you and me!" Rem told Subaru.
"Very well then, I will go with you on a day trip to the village." Subaru promised.
Back to the present day.
"Well then Subaru, would you like to see Miss Emilia to tell her happy birthday." Rem asked
"Not yet" Subaru said with passion. "I want to hold a surprise party for her!"
"A surprise party?" Rem asked
"Yes, I want nothing more then to see the look on her face when she notices."
"Any look on her face would be better then the look on your face." Ram said with a smirk.
"Ram, I am too excited to say anything about that!" Subaru brushed off Rams insult.
After exiting his room, Subaru took a visit to everyone's favorite spirit loli in the forbidden Library.
"What do you need, I suppose?" Beatrice asked.
"Beako, would you like to help us set up a surprise party for Emilia?" Subaru asked her
Beatrice sighed. "Something tells me, in fact, that you are not going to give me a choice in the matter I suppose." Beatrice said as she got up from her chair and made her way to Subaru.
"Awesome, thank you Beako!" Subaru exclaimed.
So for the next few hours, Subaru, Beatrice, and the maid twins set up a surprise party for Emilia. They set it up in her room while she was away. During this time, Ram kept an eye on Subaru to make sure he didn't go through Emilia's panties.
"Barusu. you pervert" Ram scolded Subaru after catching him in the act.
"Ok, I am sorry I can't help myself." Subaru told her.
"This is why we shouldn't let you into a girls bedroom, I suppose." Beatrice said bluntly
"You can look through Rem's panties whenever you want to Subaru!" Rem told Subaru with an innocent look on her face.
"I am gonna pretend I didn't here what you just said," Subaru told Rem while grabbing a pair, as Ram was too busy with her sister to notice.
The time had finally come for Emilia to return to her room, and the four of them. turned down the lights in the room and hid.
"Rem, don't lick my ear!" Subaru whispered to Rem, who clearly wanted Subaru's attention.
A few seconds later, the door opened and the silver-haired half elf walked into the room.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY" Subaru Jumped out as Emilia turned the lights on, revealing the party decorations on the wall as well as her slightly-opened dresser. Emilia let out a small scream not expecting the surprise.
"Subaru, what is this?" Emilia asked after she calmed down.
"It's a surprise party for you, since today is your birthday."
"Ohhhhhh right, today is my birthday." Emilia remembered. "Subaru, you didn't need to do this you dunderhead." Emilia exclaimed.
"Who says dunderhead in this day and age, and I had to make sure my lovely Emilia had the best birthday.
"Happy birthday I suppose." Beatrice told Emilia, who got a smile in return.
Emilia looked around and noticed all the decorations. "Wow you really went all out with the decorations."
"Barusu wanted to use your panties for curtains, but I told him no." Ram told her after coming out from hiding."
"Hey, I was only kidding!" Subaru said to the maid with embarrassment.
Emilia was blushing at the thought. "W-well thank you Subaru, I guess."
"Anything for my precious Emilia! Subaru told her, clearly the most excited person here.
They spent the next hour talking, laughing, and having a good time.
"It is time for me to leave, I suppose, Beatrice said as she started walking to the door.
"Thank you again Beatrice!" Emilia said to the spirit.
"It was nothing I suppose, '' Beatrice said before exiting the room.
"It is time for the two of us to make our leave as well." Ram said looking at Rem, who was too busy watching Subaru's face to notice her sister.
"Oh, yes, I hope you had a wonderful birthday Miss Emilia." The blue-haired maid bowed.
"Barusu, don't do anything perverted." Ram told Subaru who's eyes were looking down at Emilia's legs. She bowed and left the room with her sister.
Now all that was left were Emilia and Subaru. Even after Ram's warning, Subaru's eyes were still on Emilia's calves.
"Subaru, why are you staring at my legs?" Emilia asked, confused.
"I'm sorry, I couldn't help myself." his scary looking eyes focused again on Emilia's face.
"I don't understand you sometimes." Emilia said as she shook her head.
What Emilia didn't know was that Emilia's thighs were Subaru's demise.
"Well goodnight Subaru, and thank you for doing this for me." Emilia said while saying her goodbyes.
"Sleep well Emilia, and happy birthday."
That night, Subaru had a dream that Emilia was crushing his face with her thicc thighs. A wide smile appeared on his sleeping face.
"I will never tire of watching your adorable face while you are sleeping!" Rem whispered to the sleeping boy.
