Hello readers!
Let me start off by saying that I never expected this fanfiction to go this far. And I really have been having a good time writing it. It's been a really fun outlet for some ideas that I throw around and see while on Reddit. I don't know what gave me the motivation to actually sit down and start writing, but I'm glad that I found it.
As of right now, the moment that many people have been waiting for has come. Subaru and Ainz have come face to face. And yes, Subaru is now in the New World.
From here on, I think the biggest issue Subaru faced during Act 3 of Re:Zero has been resolved and it is now time for him to move onto a different phase in his life. That is why I have made the decision to begin a new volume of the story, so to speak.
Subaru has gained a new resolve that has carried him to victory against the White Whale, and the Witch's Cult. And without even knowing it, he's very much now in a position of power in Lugunica because the Sage Council and royal knights all know what he's done. Needless to say, his internal rant in chapter 1 about wanting people to see him in a new light has come true.
But as of this moment, Re: Resolve and Power has come to a close.
Just as much as I have loved writing this story, I have also enjoyed interacting with everyone in the comments. As always, there are some things that I can answer, and some things that I can't. But your thoughts and desires are always welcome.
Subaru will return to Lugunica, with new purpose, new goals, and a new mindset. And I hope everyone will continue to stay with me for as long as this story lasts!
