Greeting!

It's been a while, huh? The exams got worse for the last weeks and I couldn't even try to keep writing the chapters. But luck has come to me and I got a free week for reflective activities –that means no classes and no exams!– so I went to write as many chapters as I could (I got this one and three more so far).

And this, along with another that I'm fixing some grammatical errors, came up! There's a third one too, but I got stuck so I guess after finishing the exams for the next week I would try to finish it. So enjoy this special "short" one!

This still goes on 1985 until next year.

Edit: I wanted to mention -and after a quick check for errors here- that the chapter that I got stuck is the one after the one I'm fixing and comes next. The other two are another ones. One after the one I got stuck and the other for the First Arc (yes, it's the beginning of Hogwarts! ). Just a thing that I wanted to explain before falling asleep. Enjoy!

Shaped Holiday

[Halloween]

"Happy Halloween, kid!"

Harry only blinked at the sight before him, seeing the many spooky decorations around his cupboard. His bed was painted with orange and black, fake but mobile bats were hanging upside down from the ceiling and spiderwebs were in the corners of his room, shinning against floating blue candles.

"Isn't that supposed to be on October?" Harry asked, confused.

"Mayyyybe.." Bill said ignoring the floating calendar marked September 29, making it disappear in a snap. "But I wanted to celebrate it with you! After all, we don't know if your relatives will leave us free in that day."

"If you say so.." Harry only shook his head, smiling.

"Of course I say so!" joked Bill. "By the way kid, do you like this?" he asked showing the entire place.

"It's very nice" he confessed while he pet one of the bats.

"Thank you! It's been a while since I decorate something anew," and as to prove his point, he make appeared a pumpkin with bunch of candies, falling straight to Harry and making him fall too. "Whoops, sorry! My bad!"

Harry only took off the heavy thing, taking one candy from it. "So, how are we doing this?"

"How?"

"Halloween," Harry said. "I.. I've never celebrate Halloween before.. So uhh.. what should we do?"

"Weeell.. we can watch some movies and eating candy. Or tell scary stories. Oh! We could even chat with some ghost-!"

"Movies sound fine." Harry interrupted him, a little shaky at the mention of ghost.

"Aww.. you're not fun kid.. But if you want movies, then movies will be!" Bill snapped his fingers and a big television stood before them, the room expanding and the bed transforming into a large sofa. They sit there and Bill turns it on, the screen showing the first movie for the night.

"Hehehe.. Ichabod is a silly guy," said Bill eating popcorn as the credits rolled. "A thin guy with a cow's appetite, afraid of bad luck. And do you see the look of his face? Priceless!"

"But what happened to him?" asked Harry.

"Nobody knows!" Bill answered. "This is a story to make you think and make your own conclusions, kid. You can say that he lived or he died. Or that the guy.. what was the name again?.. Ah! Bones! That guy made a joke and scare him of. I don't know, I didn't make the movie."

"Mmmh.. not knowing something is frustrating."

"But not less interesting!" and with a snap, another round of popcorn was on the couch. "Which movie do you want to see now?"

"Surprise me." Harry said with a smile.

He regrets it later.

[The-Real-Halloween]

"Happy Halloween, kid!"

Harry only blinked at the sight before him, seeing the many spooky decorations around his cupboard. Wait.. this looks familiar.

"Happy Halloween Bill!" said Harry with a bright smile, noticing the strange coloring to his friend. Or rather.. toilet paper around his entire shape. "What are you-?"

"I'm a mummy!" exclaimed happily Bill. Harry tried to hold his laugh as his only eye looked at him funny. "You're supposed to dress yourself with any creature that you like, right? So I chose a mummy! Humans that were buried in life with fiber around their bodies. How hilarious!"

And ignoring the coughs from the kid, Bill snapped his fingers and Harry was now dressed as a skeleton.

A really tiny cute skeleton.

The beast choke with laughter.

"Bill!"

"Hahaha! Sorry, I couldn't help myself," Bill flies away from Harry, still laughing. "Anyway, we're losing time."

"Time?"

"Yeap! I need to take you somewhere real quick."

And with another snap, they come across a stone in from of them. The snow fell from their bodies but not really feeling the cold. Harry couldn't feel anything as he looked at the names of his parents.

Their graves.

"Bill..?"

"I know," the entity sigh, not glaring at him. "You're afraid to hear about your parents, kid. To learn about them and confirmed if the things that you heard from them are true. But I'm sick of those false stories," and taking a look on Harry's conflicted eyes, he continued. "I think it's time for you to finally know them, kid."

They spent their time sitting in the snow, Bill telling him about the war, the Voldemort incident and their deaths.

"So.. my parents didn't die in a car crash?"

"No kid, they were killed.. I'm sorry"

"It's.. it's okay.."

Knowing Harry's weakness, Bill hug him softy. He felt his tears falling on his form.

"Harry," he started slowly. "The reason I'm telling you this is because, in the Wizarding world, they're expecting a hero. Not the loving boy that you are." He lifted Harry's face to look at him. "I need you to be able to know who goes for fame and who wants to really meet you. And I wanted you to know that your family loved you, so much that they risked their lives to save yours."

"My parents.. loved me.."

"Yes kid.. They loved you."

Harry, after crying, decided to give to his parents a bouquet of flowers. Bill offered to snap them but he were against it. He wanted to give them by himself. Following Bill's directions, they found a couple of flowers who were strangely intact. Picking some, they went once again to the Potter's grave but they suddenly stopped.

Some dark figure was standing there, only glaring at the graves before turning around and disappear.

"What was that?" asked Harry in fright.

"A wizard," said Bill, his eye narrow to where it stood before looking back at Harry. "Don't worry, he's gone. Now, are you going to put the flowers?"

Soon the bouquet stood alongside the other bunch to where his mother's name were. Harry smiled, feeling some peace lifting in his chest. A peace that embrace him fondly.

"Do you want to go on trick or treating?" asked Bill.

"Yes, please!" Harry said with bright eyes, grinning with excitement.

And soon they left the cemetery with a pop, now with new lights and plans to celebrate the holiday.

[Chrismas]

"Very Christmas Harry!"

A bunch of presents fell on top of Harry's body, burying him with the many colors of the boxes.

His head pop out with some giggles. "It's Merry Christmas Bill, not Very."

"Yeah sure, whatever. I brought you some presents!" he pointed out the obvious stuff around Harry. "I hope you like them!"

"Oh Bill.. I don't have anything to get you.."

"Don't worry! We can only chill and open your presents and drink some cocoa behind the tree!"

"What tree-?"

*Snap*

"Nevermind," said Harry looking at the colorful pine tree. Some strange symbols adorned it with blue balls and some red and yellow lights. "I guess we could try-"

"Great! Let's begin with your presents!"

With just open one, the cupboard was covered with glitter and some stickers around the walls and in their own bodies.

"Heh.. I forgot to tell you that you shouldn't open that box."

"Oh wow, thanks for the warning Bill.."

Opening another present, the entire box exploded and the shouted of Christmas' songs echoed around the closet, ripping almost Harry's hearing.

"Aaaand that one too."

"BILL!"

Christmas was good after cleaning everything up.

[New Year]

"Hurry up kid! At this rate we will miss the fireworks!"

"I'm coming!" shouted Harry rushing behind Bill. He was unease at leaving the cupboard but Bill didn't let him alone for the entire week. So here they were, running in the middle of the streets. "Where are we going!?"

"You will see!"

They left the cold stone to green and watered grass, going forward inside the unexpected forest until they were in a large clear, showing the night sky. Harry stood there looking up while

Bill snapped his fingers and a blanket and a basket with food appeared in the middle.

"Why are you standing there? Get over here!"

Bill's shout was enough to bring Harry back to the present. Walking slowly, he sit down along with the triangle demon, eating sandwiches and drinking juice. Soon a cracking sound and a light burst in the air.

The fireworks.

"Well, look at that!" yelled Bill storing his old-fashioned watch inside his body and lifting his glass to the kid. "Twelve o'clock! Happy new year, Harry!"

Harry looked at him with tears falling from his checks. A smile adorned his illuminated face as he too lifted his glass. "Happy new year, Bill!"

They clinked their glasses and stared at the fireworks together.

The silent promise of a new year begins here.
