Summary:

Who caught who?

"Can you show me your wings?"

"Can we trade stuff for food?"

"Is food all you think about?"

"Can't think on an empty stomach!"

"Will you or won't you show me your wings?"

"Mm...OKAY!" Cooro morphed, the black wings of the messenger of death pushing out of his shoulder blades.

"You know what these mean, don't you?"

"I'm a +Anima!"

"And you're searching for other +Anima?"

"YEP!"

"What will you do if you find more?"

"Be friends with them, like Husky!"

Husky clutched his pearls. For him, he had real pearls to clutch. The former "Mermaid Princess" of Barmey's Circus Sideshow had endured the humiliation and abuse of freak show life to make money and keep his life, but Cooro peeking through the side of the tent without paying was somehow the least comfortable set of eyes Husky got during his presentation in the tank!

It was headscratcher, how the simplest topic of food livened Cooro up.

"Would you be satisfied, only finding me?"

There was a wateriness in his voice he hoped Cooro didn't grab onto. A sound that formed from Husky attempting to gurgle his way through the stream of emotions Cooro's dumb yet daring liberation of him had undammed.

"If the only +Anima I ever found were all Huskies, I'd be very happy!"

Husky didn't wish to continue playing the part of the lonely Mermaid Princess, but a droplet of his being coveted the feeling of being looked after like his forced stage persona.

The messenger of death announced he fell in love with the Mermaid Princess, and he escaped with her.

The Mermaid Princess fell in love with the messenger of death, and she escaped with him.

Cooro gave the wrong, dumb answer to Husky's question.

Husky accepted it.

The bird caught a fish.

The fish didn't resent it got caught.

For the first time, the fish got to fly.
