Ben Pov:
"Being king isn't exactly easy as most people see it on television or hear it on the news. I have to deal with policies that have to be updated, such as still it feels good looking over the people and helping out whenever I can. Especially with how things have now become normal, well almost normal. Since this is the same month where I proposed to Mal, which I sometimes think about and feel a bit sadden. However, after some time from Audrey who was still making amends from what has happened. While it may have been two years, Audrey is still doing whatever she can for several residents of the school to show she's not like her former self. I still see Mal and the others to hang out so I can feel normal along to have a laugh, but lately I've haven't been able to. Maybe I should give them a call and see if there's anything new."
Ben Castle-Morning
It was a bright and shinning morning in the kingdom of Auradon, as well at the Beast castle which now is Ben's. Within the main office was that of Ben who was looking over some documents about the recent Vk's coming into Auradon Prep. Along that of several foreign students from different parts of the world wanted to come and see how a school like this could welcome anyone. Letting out a yawn, it had felt like hours since he had started working on these papers.
"How did dad get though this and not beast out? From all these papers about treaties and other kings meeting me. I think I might need a vacation, or something to relax with."
Ben talking to himself as well seeing that there was a reason why just as soon both his parents had given the crown to him, they decided to spend more time together as well visit the kingdom they had govern over. Taking a minute to finish the last paper, he heard the door open which was none other than Audrey. Who came in to check up on him with the work he was doing right now.
"So I just talked with Fairy God Mother about some of the class's I thought that could be added. Possibly of flawless hair as well that of royal resting. Since most of the times these new students think staying up late is the 'In' thing."
She told Ben about how that some of the class's should work on their appearance as well of making sure to get a good's night rest when it came to looking amazing. Ben looked at her as well how he'd never imagine seeing her care so much for the school she attended as well trying to act like the queen there.
"Well I do think it's important for a good night's sleep. But I'm also think, it's amazing to see how you've gotten into the school's business seeing how you and I graduated."
Responding to Audrey of how after she and he were able to pass from Auradon Prep. She decided to help out the school with it's events, class's as well even stepping in when Fairy God Mother was busy with other matters. The brown haired girl couldn't help but chuckle at the response, seeing that it was a surprise herself of how she'd be looking over the place.
"What can I say, home is where the heart is. And Auradon Prep is where I sprouted my beauty, better to make sure the new students learn from someone like me now. Don't you think?"
Asking Ben of how that while she may have gotten popular there along building a strong reputation of being the most well known princess there. It felt like a responsibility to make that there be others to try and be as flawless like her. Ben couldn't help but agree since she did make the spotlight shine on her. As the conversation felt good, Audrey could tell there was something bothering him in which she didn't know how to say it.
"I can tell you have a expression of concern on your face. You can tell me anything Audrey, we've been working together so whatever is on your mind. I'll listen."
Ben telling her about how that there was no reason to keep anything secret or anything should be kept in silence. Audrey, merely nodded seeing how what she might say could get him a bit sadden. Which was the last thing that she would ever want to see from the king of Auradon, as well have him remember about what happen.
"It's just, this is the month where everything changed, more or less both of us. Me learning how my jealousy and envy got the better of me. And you, with opening the isle."
Bringing up the moment where the two had that of a life changing experience, plus how that it was also when he proposed to Mal during the moment. Ben nodded to her about it, as well at how it still would come up when this time had come around.
"Yes. I still sometimes feel like it was my fault, or maybe I did something to Mal. Maybe it was the popularity or the anxiety, but sure enough I still feel like it was my fault for how I acted towards her with keeping the barrier close."
He spoke out on how that during the moment after the proposal he talked with Mal about keeping it close, whether it was for the protection Auradon or to make sure no one else like Oogie or Maleficent would try to come out and hurt innocents. That was on him, no one else suggested on him. As well feeling like that was the reason why she left him.
"Bennie Boo..."
Audrey speaking out one of the nicknames she called him in which she walked over by him giving the worried king a hug, as soon Ben felt her hug from behind his shoulders. He felt that of his stress and anger that was building up slowly fade away.
"You can't blame yourself for what happened. It was her choice, to which you respected. It's ok to feel sad, but never think it was your fault. She still cares for if you ever need help."
Assuring the king about how that even if they weren't a couple, Mal would rush here and help Ben in whatever situation he was in. Hearing those words from Audrey was that of a surprise, along how he'd never expect to hear those kinds of words from her. As the two were having their moment, they heard the door knocking which surprised to them as well made Audrey jump a bit.
"Ben? It's me Jane."
Announcing her name in which both Ben and Audrey made sure they looked professional as well try to not look so upset or sadden. He allowed her to come in as the two see the fairy god woman coming in, which she saw both Ben and Audrey together in which smiled. She was holding some papers of the current events that have happened along several things that happened recently.
"I'm hear with the reports about the recent changes to the docks. There able to hold some of the boats that the isle has, along that the papers you sent to Neverland has been received about the fairies hosting their light parade here due to the storms over Neverland."
Jane informing Ben about a recent change of hosting the parade here due to how Neverland was going through the storm season. This made him smile seeing that it was good other islands would be able to visit Auradon along try to host their own type of entertainment.
"That's good. Just got to make sure there no cats in the area, they think that fairies are birds just because they fly around."
He responded to her in which made Audrey laugh a bit at how the last time some fairies came to visit Auradon as well possibly bring their own children here. Several cats chased after them, it was rather crazy as well hard to try and get a hold on.
"Well then, if that's all I was going go get some coffee. Might call the gang to spend some time, do you and Carlos want to come?"
Asking Jane about if she would like to join them as he could call some friends to get something to drink, however. Jane had a expression on her face which represent something that conflicted with that idea. The two noticed Jane's look as well got concern.
"Jane? Did something happen to others?"
Ben suggesting that one of them had been in a accident, or rather possibly something bad had happened without him getting notified. Jane, shook her hand calming them both down seeing that he may have gotten them a bit frighten by how they reacted.
"No. It's rather well, good news since after Carlos went with the others to Hades club. There was a conversation going on, in which involved that of a secret proposal from Trickster. In which, lead to this text message Evie sent me."
Explaining to him as at first when Jane was telling them made it sound confusing, however that was until they looked at the text message. Getting a better look, it showed a image of Evie along with Trick and Mal with wedding rings as well with that of a text showing a sentence.
"Finallymarried to my dream monster and dark fairy queen! Mine now!"
Which made Ben seemingly surprised at how that he didn't expect this, let alone of how that he and Audrey were just talking about this. While it was good for them to agree in becoming that of the first throuple in Auradon history. It still had him shaken up, Audrey was still glad but gave Jane a look of how that wasn't exactly the right thing to say right now with Ben acting up.
"Good."
Spoke out none other than Ben to which the girls looked shocked at how he stated it was alright. Before the two said, Ben rose his hand as he wanted to have his say in this matter.
"While I'm still sadden with what happen. I don't want to be a burden or try and ruin anything. Which is why I want to support it, as well congratulate them. After they tell the others."
Explaining to them about how while it might have tugged at his heart, let alone that it might have bothered him. He wouldn't try to be upset with it, as well try to support them. Audrey could see Ben was doing his best to be supportive, in which was extremely noble of him. Jane merely smiled as well was going text Carlos about what else was happening, in which gave him and Audrey some time alone.
"Ben, are you sure you'll be ok? I just don't want to see you trying to hide your emotions from this."
Audrey telling how she did that as well, let alone of how that faking happiness wasn't the way to handle this type of news. Ben, nodded towards her let alone of how it was going be a challenge to handle this.
"I'll be ok. My dad told me that hiding away anger doesn't do anything but hurt. As well become a beast, which is why he told me that mom would comfort him. No matter what, which is what I'm going do. Be there for them and help out, as a good man."
He stated his reason to which Audrey couldn't help but love how that while he can accept that fact it was bothering him. He would still be strong and possibly help out with the wedding. However, Audrey was curious about how they were three were handling this change. In which while they were living together in the cottage was normal, they would actually be a married throuple. As well they would invite everyone they had known, the one thing that was on her mind was how they would announce it to the others.
Later on in the middle of the forest highway
"I'm getting married!"
Shouted Trickster as he apparently wanted to tell Harold and Ruby, the demigod of Hercules himself as well his girlfriend the daughter of Rapunzel. Who were right now with Miley who was disguised as Holiday Girl handling a situation, which apparently dealt with some goblins who had taken that of highly dangerous potions. So far Trick came out of nowhere to announce this startling news.
"Wow. That's terrific Trick. But we're.."
Before Miley could congratulate him. One of the goblins took a potion as well suddenly felt his body change, in which he turned into that of a octopus like anthromorphic creature. He hurled his tentacles at the masked girl and spun her around multiple times. Trick, getting annoyed pulled his sword and leapt up cutting down the tentacle and making the man scream while letting her go.
"Oh shut up! I'm announcing something good to me. And you had to ruin it, besides I had my arm cut off before don't be such a prude."
Trick telling him to which he heard that of Harold on the side knocking out a couple of men who had turned into anthromorphic creatures as well. In which whatever they took was both dangerous, as well powerful.
"Well sometimes when announcing a engagement. It doesn't happen when it involves us tracking down these men who stole hazardous potions which were highly untested from Yen Sid's tower."
He explained seeing how these goblins had become that of enhanced creatures that seemed to rival that of Harold's strength. Trick, sighs annoyed like as he saw a minotaur bandit rushing at him. Rushing over, Trick leapt onto his back as well grabbed him by the horns making him unable to focus.
"Who's a snack? You do."
Talking to the minotaur as he pulled out what looked like a smoke grenade, throwing it into his mouth. Leaping right off, the bull goblin felt the smoke coming out of his mouth. Unable to focus, he didn't noticed that of Ruby coming from the side with her frying pan weapon as well knocking him hard in the face making the minotaur fall to the ground knocked out.
"Trick. The times whenever you pop around when we're working is when your bored, or your desperate to find people like you to talk to."
Stating to him how most of the times that things would seem dull, he would visit Harold and her to see what exactly was going on. Trick rolled his eyes at her as well stood there in which his three friends were still handling the goblin situation.
"What can I say, I love being in the middle of a fight."
Responding to her in which he took a moment to step in the center where most of the goblins had taken the potions which turned them into that of abnormal creatures. They all looked at him with a dazed look seeing the VK, in which they could recognized him even though they had changed.
"It's Trickster. Oogie's brat, there's a good bounty on his head if we tear him apart."
Spoke that of a snake goblin mutant in which they all looked at him, Harold and Ruby saw how he seemed outnumbered. Though Miley stopped them seeing that Trick seemingly had this covered, meaning they should keep back while the VK handled this problem.
"Yeah, I am a brat. But also, I'm a monster. And you all are acting like some, but the one thing you all didn't count on. Was a real monster, so let me introduce myself."
He spoke smiling at them in which he pulled out his swords as well giving them that of a creepy like look through his eyes. Spinning both around, the goblin mutants were snarling and roaring at him not going to be intimidated by the masked freak.
"You didn't think you was done, did ya? Well, I just begun having my fun, my friends."
Trickster starting to swing as well look at his friends on the side in which they could tell how he wasn't taking the situation seriously. While it annoyed Harold a bit seeing that if he didn't focus, he'd be hurt as well have trouble regenerating. It was still humorous for Ruby to watch, along Miley to see how far his skills had grown.
"Some people live for attention. Playing the victim, but seriously I was born to making the screaming!"
Trick turning to the goblins as well throwing that of several bugs into their faces, it caused them to lose their focus as well of vision. The Oogie boy rushed at them with his swords as he slashed away their weapons, along moving across making them trip and fall.
"You see how I'm going crazy, Always thinking 'bout me, on the daily. Feed me your negativity, talk some more about me. I know that you love me, love me!"
Announcing to them in which he heard that of a gorilla goblin holding a spike club as well a lizard goblin with a spear. Letting them come, he was able to counter each attack as well see them using their new found strength to hurt him.
"It's funny how you think I'm bothered. Know I'm nothing like the others, you shouldn't have messed with me! Cause I heard that you're afraid of Monsters, monsters!"
Telling them in which he did a cartwheel between them, both goblins used their weapons as well accidentally knocked each other out. The goblins looked at him as well tried to tackle him, however Trick moved side to side avoiding getting trampled by the wild goblins.
"Are you ready for the monster, monster? Are you ready for the monster, monster? Are you ready for the monster, monster? You ain't ready for the monster, monster!"
Shouting out loud as well seeing how each of them were acting like monsters, the three heroes watched at how the masked VK were toying with them. To which they wanted to enter and help him out, in which before they could step in. Trick landed right in front of them assuring them that he had it taken care of.
"I'm just being me, cut out the things that I don't need. And I don't care if you disagree, I don't need no sympathy. Winning the game on my own, all the time."
Giving them a smile underneath his mask to which he didn't notice that of a rhino goblin grabbing him from the back. To which he slammed him across the side like a ragdoll, they wanted come in and help out. Though Trick, who seemed to have his bones broken. Rose up a finger towards them, in which the rhino goblin looked confused.
"You see how I'm really crazy, Always thinking 'bout me, on the daily. Feed me your negativity, talk some more about me. I know that you love me, love me!"
Shouting to the rhino as grabbed his large arm and kicking him right in the nose. It made the goblin drop him as well moving back, taking the chance. Trick knee kicks him in the stomach making him fall. Standing on top of the injured goblin, standing on top he saw several goblins who didn't take the potions as well still having some weapons and ready to throw them.
"It's funny how you think I'm bothered. Know I'm nothing like the others, you shouldn't have messed with me! Cause I heard that you're afraid of monsters, monsters!"
Warning the goblins as he leapt right towards them, on the side line was Harold as well Ruby and Miley watching the fighting. They couldn't exactly describe what they were watching was both graphic let alone that he made sure they wouldn't get back up.
"Are you ready for the monster, monster? Are you ready for the monster, monster? Are you ready for the monster, monster? You ain't ready for the monster, monster!"
Continuing his song, he looked at his friends waving them to see how it seemed to be all done. However before they could say anything, Trick felt a knife lodged into his chest. Turning around he saw what apparently looked like the leader, as well having a couple of knives with him, Trick. Decided to play the act as well pretend to be dying.
"Ah, it could've been so different between us. But then you went and messed everything up. You took a knife and stabbed me in the back, took everything I had went to your friends and laughed!"
Groveling to the goblin leader in which the creature was confused by this, slowly creeping up on him. He pulled out the knife as well rest on his back, this freaked out the leader. Before he could do anything, he noticed that of Trick suddenly quitting the act as well grappling onto him like a snake holding him tight.
"This is the last time I'm gonna tell you now. If you try to break me, I'm gonna burn you down. Oh I'm done with you, not coming back for you. I'm going make you scream."
Trick stating as he pointed a head which showed Ruby coming right at him, Having her hands wrapped with her golden hair as well having them glow together as well with her frying pan. She delivered a strong whack towards the goblin's face, she sent them flying across the side. To which Miley used her slime whip weapon to connect towards the tree's, attaching right towards it. It bounced them towards Harold, using both fits. He used both fists to uppercut the goblin leader, sending him as well Trick into the air.
"It's funny how you think I'm bothered. Know I'm nothing like the others, you shouldn't have messed with me! Cause I heard that you're afraid of Monsters, monsters!"
Continuing his song while in midair, all in the while making the goblin panic seeing how the VK wasn't scared by this. Laughing in a mad manner, the two were in the air for the while before they landed in a tree. Hearing some branches fall, Harold waited for one of them to fall out of the tree. Soon enough the goblin came first, having leaf's and twigs on him. The green creature looked upwards in the shadows of the tree seeing a pair of bright yellow eyes staring at him.
"Are you ready for the monster, monster? Are you ready for the monster, monster? Are you ready for the monster, monster? You ain't ready for the monster, monster!"
Shouting to him in which the goblin leader was left frighten as well shaking at Trickster, in which the fear and personality from the deranged VK made him pass out. The three soon see Trick, coming down from the tree and moving his arms and legs from the fall.
"Trick? I may have gotten a bit to overboard with your fighting."
Miley expressing that of a concern type tone seeing that the goblins he had beaten were left either shaking in what he did, as well somehow beaten the mutated goblins which somehow changed back to their original forms.
"Meh, they'll be fine. Besides, I'd bet it might take a while for you guys to take these goblins. Which that time, could be used to help him figure out a wedding plan. So, I'll help you clean up the mess and you help me? Best buddies?"
Trick responding to his fellow masked friend in which the heroes could see how with how he fought, this wedding was something he wanted to do desperately. They agreed as well made sure to gather up the passed out goblins and make sure none of them get back up.
"Just promise me that the reception won't be like this."
Harold asking him how the wedding would go as well the people arriving wouldn't be so chaotic, Trick. Couldn't help but shrug his shoulders of how anything could happen, in which they got to work. In which while they were working, somewhere else was his future wives were telling their friends and family the news about the engagement.
