No matter who stood up against Bitter Taste and Dark Rainbow, all of their efforts proved to be unsuccessful.
-The Wonderbolts tried to fight them, but Bitter Taste managed to literally take them all down with ease by simply using his magic to freeze them into many different crystal blocks and fall down to the hard ground without the blocks breaking. Since they're non-magical creatures, they have no means of escape.
-The Dragons came on down hard, but Bitter Taste managed to defeat them by making many fire extinguishers appear and cut off the dragons fire supply and, to crush the Dragons and their confidence, zapped Ember's wings and making huge holes in them, crippling her flight ability. Since Dragons have a sacred rule to only fight a war alongside their leader, they could not fight any longer.
-Bitter taste and Dark Rainbow used Grogar's bell (which was kept at the Friendship Castle after the debacle with Tirek, Cozy Glow, and Chrysalis.) to deprive the Ponies, Changelings, Griffons, Yaks, Hippogriffs and other creatures who the ponies have befriended of their essence and has rendered them unable to battle.
-Not even the pillars could help as they were one by one turned into statues (ironic has Rockhoof wanted that to happen himself) and they were put on the pathway to Dark Rainbow's cloud castle.
And speaking of the cloud castle, it has suddenly gotten immensely bigger after these threats have been defeated and it was soon covering all of Equestria. Inside the castle, Dark Rainbow was sitting on her throne when Bitter Taste came by.
"What's the word, my most trusted advisor?" said Princess Dark Rainbow.
"I just thought you'd like to know that our castle is now covering all of Equestria," said Bitter Taste with pride.
Dark Rainbow put rubbed her hooves together and smiled evilly, "Good."
