Twilight and I decide not to intervene with Ben's assault on the mechamorphs. His Vaxsaurian form is truly formidable, with a power level 200 fold that of Ben's. He throws most of the aliens over a cliff on the side, using his massive strength to his advantage. Just to pay it safe, Gwen forms a manna shield around the ship, to prevent the mechamorphs from incorporating the ship.
"Well, that was unpleasant." Ben says as his transformation times out, reverting him back to his normal state.
"Indeed." I replied. I had never seen this alien race before. I wonder what made them special? Did they eat technology? Anyways, I would find out later.
"So, Nathan, how powerful are you?" Kevin asks me, a bit intimidated by my power.
"Depends. I repress most of my power to prevent paradoxes from occurring. The most I have ever exerted in recent memory was 50% capacity. I wonder what would happen if an Osmosian consumes temporal energy?"
Kevin laughs: "You don't want to find out, kid." He was probably right. Osmosians who consume too much energy go crazy.
"Ah, glad to see you made it to Galvan Prime, Ben. This issue is of utmost importance" Said a voice that I didn't recognize. Everyone crouched down to look at who was speaking. This must be Azimuth. The Galvan alien notices me and Twilight, and looks at us carefully: "An Equestrian. My, how long it has been since I have seen your kind. And who is this other human? Why is he here?" Azimuth asks Twilight.
"Well, this guy named Professor Paradox wants him here because he is also a temporal anomaly, and was a victim of The Foundation." Azimuth takes a minute to process this information.
"If you are truly another temporal anomaly, then I am in great need of your assistance. You see, a person I used to work with, named Albedo, was hellbent on making a copy of the Omnitrix."
Ben laughed: "You mean that knockoff version of me? I dealt with him years ago! He's back?"
"Yes, Ben, let me finish. After finally realizing that making a second omnitrix was out of his reach, he found a new goal: making hybrids to serve as his personal army. He went to Earth a few days ago and collected some human embryos to use for his experiments. He still has the faulty Omnitrix core, and used the DNA inside to create hybrids."
You have got to be kidding me. I swore to myself that I will never let anyone make more hybrids ever again. It is an affront to nature, and makes me sick to my stomach.
"What happens if Albedo finds Celestial Sapien DNA in his faulty Omnitrix?" Gwen asks Azimuth.
Azimuth sighs: "That is what I am the most worried about. You see, he didn't even need to find the Map of Infinity to get the DNA, since he could just use Alien X's sample. Ben already knows this, but Celestial Sapiens rarely act, because they have multiple personas debating on a course of action. Children don't have these personalities yet, so it will give them unlimited power. Then, Albedo will be unstoppable."
Twilight is fed up with people using children for their own benefit. "What the hell is wrong with the universe? Children are innocent, why are they part of this diabolical plan? It's disgusting."
The Tennysons nod in agreement. "So what do we have to do to prevent this from happening?" Kevin asks Azimuth.
"Well, you have to find Albedo's secret base, and destroy the Omnitrix core he is using for the experiments. Plain and simple." Azimuth replied. "As for you, Equestrian, it seems that Albedo has been tampering with Alicorn magic. He successfully made a hybrid with alicorn DNA. I advise caution when dealing with them." Azimuth warns.
Twilight is furious. Alicorn magic is extremely powerful, and should not be experimented with. "I am seriously wondering if forgiveness can even work now." Twilight complains.
"Well, it sorta worked with me." Said a voice behind us.
"Luna, what are you doing here?" I said suspiciously, with my reflexes holding back an attack. Allegedly, Celestia reformed her of her past ways, but I still have a lot of PTSD from the experiments.
"Great, another magical talking pony." Kevin said sarcastically.
"Test me again, Osmosian, and I will trap you on the moon." Luna said with a grimace. Her power level was quite high, and Kevin didn't want to start an altercation.
Luna sighed: "Anyways, Celestia told me to come here because I actually have experience with The Foundation's technology, since I designed a fair amount of it. I don't know much about this Omnitrix thing, but I do know that when I designed my hybrids, I gave the children pill capsules to consume, which altered their DNA with Equestrian DNA."
"What about the time gate you sent me through. Still pretty pissed about that one. 1000 years is nothing compared to what you did to me…" I said with a small grudge.
Luna laughed: "That was a special situation. For the other hybrids, I just exposed them to energy emitted by their respective hybrid species, activating nascent abilities within. For that Samantha girl, I just used a bit of magic to activate the unicorn DNA in her body, and for Daniel, I teleported him 15,000 feet above sea level, and his pegasus wings activated in "fight or flight" response."
For a reformed alicorn, Luna still seems pretty proud of her accomplishments. I wonder if her Nightmare Moon persona is still trapped, somewhere in the recesses of her mind.
"That's so fucked up, horse lady." Ben said, skirmishing at the thought of what she did.
"I am an alicorn goddess, have some respect!" Luna told Ben.
"Don't worry too much, Ben. She tried to kill us a few times. Her ego is no big deal. Relax." Twilight told Ben, reassuring her that she is harmless, for now at least.
Luna sighed. "Anyways, Nathan, The Element of Loyalty sends her regards, and wishes to help in this endeavor. She claims to have improved her combative skills, and was eager to come with me. I advised her to wait for your response."
Rainbow Dash, huh? Haven't seen her in ages. I wonder if she has improved at all?
"I believe the Alicorn is correct. Before venturing to find Albedo, you should regroup on your planet and gather resources and allies. I fear that the Omnitrix might not be enough for this mission." Azimuth tells Ben, Gwen, and Kevin.
Twilight quickly summons a pen and paper, and plugs in the universal coordinates for Equestria: 99.83073.30972.1984
"Here, put these into your ship's navigation system. I estimate 90 minutes to arrive there with hyperdrive. Good luck!" She says as she teleports herself, Luna, and me away.
"These fellows are quite odd, indeed." Azimuth says.
"I wonder if I will be of any help at all on this trip." Kevin thinks to himself. They board the ship, plug in the coordinates, and head off to Equestria.
