The demigods raced to the café.
"Hi Hugo." Percy greeted
"Percy." Hugo smiled
Percy grinned.
"We'd like some powdered donuts."
"Of course, they're right there." Hugo sad gesturing to the donut counter
The demigods went and grabbed two donuts each and payed Hugo and went out of the café.
The gods were waiting for them by the throne room.
"Hey guys." Apollo said
"Aw no powdered donuts for us." Hermes pouted
Everybody snickered.
"We should start with the tree." Hades said
"That's where you're wrong uncle, there is something missing." Percy corrected
Hades blinked.
"Travis speakers and laptop." Percy said
Travis ran to Hermes' quarters and grabbed a laptop and some huge speakers.
He went back to the throne room.
"Jason! Thalia!" he called
The duo went to Travis and put their hands on the speaker giving it electricity with the lightning.
Travis quickly switched on the laptop and played "Jingle Bells."
The demigods cheered, their mouths covered with powder from the donuts.
The gods chuckled.
"Hey Katie what about that tree?" Connor called out
"Hey mom, I need your help and yours to Lady Persephone." Katie said
Demeter smiled and Persephone nodded.
"Just Persephone's fine Katie." She smiled
Katie nodded.
They grabbed some soil and put their hands on it and boom a tall Christmas tree stood there.
"Jingle all the way!" Percy yelled from the distance
Annabeth chuckled.
"Come on dad." Percy said
"I don't know the lyrics." Poseidon admitted
"You'll learn soon enough." Percy grinned
"Hey guys, the tree's ready." Katie yelled
"Let's go buy decorations." Silena said
"And gifts." Nico added
"First decorations." Thalia said
Nico pouted.
"What about the sea gang and the underworld gang go for decorations?" Percy asked
"Sea gang?" Poseidon asked
"Underworld gang?" Hades asked
Percy shrugged and grinned sheepishly.
The demigods grabbed their parents' hands and dragged them to the mall.
"Come on you guys." Percy said
"We are coming." Poseidon said
They reached the mall and walked in. They quickly found a decorations hop and bounded in.
"Hi, how may I help you?" the worker asked
"We're just looking for Christmas decorations." Triton said
"Ah, I've got quite different kind of lights here, check it out." The worker grinned
"Thank you." Nico said
They went to the section the worker had pointed to.
"Wow, these are beautiful." Persephone said
"You know we have similar ones in the Underworld." Nico said, pointing to a set of skeleton lights
"Not a surprise." Percy snickered
Nico shrugged.
"What about these?" Hades asked, holding up a set of lights which looked like snowflakes
"They look great, you have a good taste in lights." Poseidon said with a raised eyebrow.
Hades playfully rolled his eyes.
"We should buy at least two." Nico said
Hades nodded and took two sets from the shelf.
They went to the counter and placed the lights there.
"Ah beautiful choice and trust me I don't say that to everybody. One day Lord Zeus, okay you know what never mind." The worker said
"We need to know." Nico said
The worker blushed.
"Can't tell you." He said
They groaned.
"So that's five drachmas." The worker said
Poseidon was about to get out his money when Percy stopped him.
"5 drachmas you say." Percy asked the worker
"Yes sir." He replied
"Just Percy's good. Percy smiled, pulling out his money
He gave the worker seven drachmas.
"The two are for you, merry Christmas." He grinned
The worker's face brightened up.
"Thank you Percy." He said
Percy grinned and took the packet of lights.
"Here Triton, hold this." Percy smirked
Triton pouted but took the packet.
"Now we need a star." Nico said, pulling out a list.
"Ah a list, brilliant." Percy grinned
"I know a place you can get the star and a couple of more decorations." The worker said
"Thanks, could you give directions?" Percy asked
"Yeah, take a right from this place and then you'll find it." The worker grinned
Percy chuckled.
"What's your name?" he asked
"Josh." The worker replied
"I'm a young satyr." He added
Percy nodded and smiled.
"Thank you Josh." He said
"No issue." Josh grinned
The group went out of the shop and turned right.
They reached the star shop and went in.
"I think we should buy that one." Persephone said, pointing to a white one.
"That looks good." Triton nodded
Poseidon went and took the star.
"Let's look around for more decorations." Amphitrite said
Percy nodded and immediately rushed up to a snowman.
"How's this?" he asked
"Looks great." Nico said
"I'm wondering how the mall has Christmas decorations if you don't celebrate Christmas." Percy said suddenly
"I think Annabeth said that she made the malls in a way that it would have everything." Nico said
"Oh yeah I remember now." Percy said sheepishly.
Nico ran and got a shopping cart from the side.
Percy put the snowman and Poseidon put the star in it.
"Hey guys, what about this?" Triton asked, pointing to a packet which contained some bright decorations.
"Brother. You. Have. Good taste." Percy said
Triton grinned and bowed.
Everybody laughed.
Hades picked up the packet from the shelf and put it in the cart.
"I think we should grab some wrapping paper too." Nico said
"But we don't know what colors others would want." Percy said
"We can grab some for us and I think Thalia, Jason and Zeus would want electric blue." Nico shrugged
"Yeah but let's stay on the safe side and buy the ones we are sure about." Triton said
Nico nodded.
They spotted some wrapping paper on one of the shelves.
"What colors do you want?" Hades asked, though he thought he already knew the answer
"Black and Yellow." Nico said at once.
"Sea green." Percy said
"Same as Percy." The sea gang said
Hades picked up their sheets and tossed it to them and then he pulled out some black sheets for him and Nico and also some yellow.
"What about you dear?" Hades asked Persephone
Nico paled.
"Dad please, kids in the room." He gagged
Hades smirked.
"I'll take green and red." Persephone said
Hades nodded and grabbed the sheets and gave it to the respective people.
"What about some medieval monk skulls?" Nico asked his dad
Hades chuckled and Nico burst out laughing.
"Did you put some in the throne room?" Nico asked
"I can never tell when you're joking." Hades chuckled
Nico laughed again.
"Let me guess, inside joke?" Percy smiled
Nico nodded
"So let's continue with the shopping." Poseidon said, clapping his hands together.
"Yeah, maybe we could buy some candy canes." Nico suggested
"Blue candy canes." Percy said
"No Percy." Nico sighed
Percy pouted.
"Yep, here they are." Poseidon said
"They look good." Hades nodded
Percy picked up three and put them in the cart.
"Let's pick up a few cartons." Percy muttered to Nico
"Machines?" Nico muttered back
Percy nodded
Nico grabbed a few gift cartons.
"Why are you buying those?" Persephone asked
"For my friends." Nico said
"Big gifts." Persephone said
"Multiple gifts." Nico lied
Persephone nodded.
They took it all to the counter. The worker was an automaton.
"Please place your stuff." It said
Percy and Nico put the stuff on the counter and the automaton billed it.
"Twenty five drachmas." The automaton said
Nico whistled.
"Twenty five Iris messages." He snickered
Hades and Poseidon were about to pull out their money this time too but the two demigods stopped them again, grinning.
"What's up with you guys?" Poseidon asked
"We don't want you to pay." Percy shrugged
"Why?" Hades asked
"You have never celebrated Christmas and we want to celebrate with you. We want to make sure you have the best Christmas ever." Nico shrugged
Percy and Nico fist-bumped.
Poseidon and Hades tried to protest though they were very touched but the demigods stopped them.
The others raised their eyebrows at Nico and Percy.
The two of them pulled out the money and kept it in the place in the money section and it disappeared.
"Thank you." The automaton said
The group went out the shop. Hades and Poseidon looking at each other then at Nico and Percy.
"Hey guys we're back and Leo and Beckendorf we have a request for you guys." Nico said
"What?" Leo asked
"Snow guns." Percy grinned
Leo grinned.
"Done. We'll get started right away." Beckendorf grinned
The two of them went into the forges and Percy and Nico gave the others the decorations
Nico sneaked the boxes to Hephaestus who nodded.
The demigods ran to their quarters and quickly changed to Christmas sweaters which had appeared in their closets.
When they got back, the song switched to Deck the Halls.
"Cute costume." Persephone said
Everybody chuckled.
All the demigods sung along.
"Deck the halls with boughs of holly." The demigods chorused.
A few demigods put their hands on their parents' shoulders.
"FA LA LA LA LA, LA LA LA LA." The demigods chorused louder.
Jason grabbed the star and flew to the top and put it there.
Thalia grabbed the snowmen and put them near the tree trunk.
The other demigods took the candy canes and the other decorations and decorated the tree.
They did not stop singing and the mood was very happy. The gods couldn't stop smiling at their children.
Even they got the hang of the song and sand along.
The song then switched to Silent Night.
This was a song that everybody knew the lyrics to and they all sang along happily. The demigods and gods finished decorating after an hour and put their hands on each other's shoulder and sang along, swaying to the music.
At that point of time, the Hephaestus gang came, holding multiple snow guns.
The demigods and gods saw them and cheered.
"Great job you guys!" the demigods said
They grinned.
The Hephaestus gang gave them each a gun and grabbed another huge box of snow. It was big enough to make Mrs O' Leary a home.
They let all of that snow out, making the whole place look like a snow forest.
The demigods cheered and threw snow in each other's faces and their parent's faces too who threw it back.
They were all laughing and giggling.
They were all out of breath by the time they were done.
"Snow war on Christmas." Travis said
Everybody nodded.
Their day got way better as soon as they received a note from the Fates.
Dear demigods and gods,
We will be sending Octavian back and summoning him for the later books of the prophecy. We know you miss your mortal parents but do not worry you can keep your gifts separate and they will be sent to them. Merry Christmas in advance.

Everybody cheered and whooped.
"Let's go for lunch now and we can do gift shopping after it." Chiron said
The demigods and gods nodded.
They went for lunch but it was a quick affair as everybody was super excited to go for gift shopping.
"We'll make groups again." Chiron suggested
"Yeah going alone wouldn't be fun." Percy said
"But we have to buy gifts for each other too." Annabeth said
"You can separate for that part and then meet up again." Chiron said
Everybody nodded.
"I'm cool with the same group." Nico said
"I'm good too." Percy said
"I'm going with Thalia, Grover and mom." Annabeth grinned
"I'm going with dad, Travis, Connor and Chris." Luke said
"Frank, Reyna, Clarisse, Ares, Artemis and Zoe." Hazel grinned
"Dad, Lee and Michael." Will said
"Mom." Katie grinned.
"Dad." Jason said
"Mom and Piper." Silena grinned
"Dad and Leo." Beckendorf smiled
"Chiron and Hera." Hestia smiled
"Pollux, Dakota and Dionysus." Castor smiled
"All done then." Percy slapped his hands together.
"Lets go." Triton said
"So we'll buy for others first then for each other." Percy said
Everybody came back around five pm.
"Whoa, that was fun. I spent like more than hundred drachmas." Nico said
"I know right." Will said
They grinned at each other.
"Alright we'll have a good campfire and sleep." Hestia said
"What about we get our parents to sing the campfire song." Luke grinned
"Oh yeah." The Greek demigods grinned
"So what about your songs then ours." Dakota said
"Done." Luke said
"We don't know the lyrics though." Hermes said
"You can do the chorus." Percy suggested
The gods nodded.
They went and lit up the campfire and started with the songs. The gods joined in the chorus and sung along with everybody.
They all laughed and joked around.
A few gods realized the love for their children.
"To family." The demigods said a toast.
The gods repeated it.
Everybody cheered.
"Good night guys." They finally said
The gods and demigods went to their respective quarters and slept in cozy blankets for the night.
