Did I just hear Luna right? She said my parents are in danger. That can't be right, no?
"You're lying. I still don't trust you, besides, you killed my mother!"
Luna was confused. She never killed Kronos' mother. "I didn't kill anyone, what are you talking about?" She asked me, puzzled and offended that I would make such a baseless accusation.
"You did, actually. We didn't just fight once last week. The first time we fought, you killed my mother out of spite, and I got so mad that I killed you and ended the universe. If it wasn't for Twilight teaching me the magic of forgiveness, the universe would still be gone!" I said, holding back tears. "She literally accessed the 5th dimension to find me at the End of Time to save her friends."
"Hold up, you reset the universe also, Nathan? I thought only I did that with the Alien X Anihilaarg incident a few years back?" Ben asked me, confused.
"Well, that must've happened when I was in The Void. Outside of time and space, you know?" I replied.
Rainbow Dash, Rarity, and Futtershy were listening outside to this conversation.
"Woah, Kronos ended time, AND killed Nightmare Moon? Celestia must be scared of his power." Rainbow Dash said, a bit nervous herself. Rarity was shocked. She knew my power level was incredibly high, but ending time and space?
"Thank goodness Twilight talked some sense into him. Imagine Kronos without a moral compass." Fluttershy said, scared shitless of what I would do if I did not have friends to help me.
"Anyways, enough chit-chat. That Paradox fellow sent me here to tell you that a quantum anomaly occurred while you were on Galvan Prime, which accidentally sent dozens of Earthlings to Equestria unintentionally. Your parents were included in this, and I sent them to Twilight's library as a safehouse. It seems that Albedo might have something to do with this event. He must have found Celestial Sapien DNA. This falls within your domain of spacetime, so I thought I would warn you personally, from one god to another." Luna said solemnly.
"If this was so important, why didn't he come here himself?" I asked, still suspicious.
"Umm, I assume you know that time anomalies have other planets to look at, too? He is doing something in the Andromeda system right now." She said.
I looked at the other me, and we both nodded in silent agreement: we would investigate this quantum event and rectify it. "Uhh, other me, we gotta do something. I know this isn't your parents, but I need a second time guy just in case."
Unicorn Kronos sighed: "Yeah yeah, I know about quantum events like this. Besides, since we are basically the same person, if anything happens to one of us, it is like an attack on the other."
So, if my parents were at the library, then Twilight must be there as well. "Tennyson, you want in on this?" I asked, trying to be considerate of what he might want to do next.
"I don't see why not, although when we get back to Earth, I will pick the venue. We are having Mr. Smoothies." He said, with a grin.
"I will leave the three of you to deal with this matter. I have the moon to raise in 20 minutes. Goodbye." She said as she teleported away from the pub.
"Uh, y'all might be a bit too inebriated from our friendly contest to go save the multiverse?" Big Mac asked, confused. Thankfully, I had a plan. I rewinded the flow of time on the three of our bodies, reversing the effects of alcohol.
"What n' tarnation did you just do?" Big Mac asked, shocked at what he just witnessed.
"Uhh, I just removed the influence of alcohol from our bodies, that's all. Now we can do important shit with a clear head. The drinks were good, though!" I said, smiling.
"Uh, what alien are you going to turn into this time?" Unicorn Kronos asked Ben. Ben actually didn't know, and will probably play it by ear."
"Alright, y'all, try not to do anything stupid while you are time traveling or whatever!" Big Mac said sarcastically.
Anyways, it's time to see what the heck is going on with my parents. The three of us leave the pub, and Unicorn Kronos teleports us to the library. When we arrive, Ben feels a bit woozy. "I am not used to teleportation. I feel nauseous."
Unicorn Kronos laughs: "You can turn into any alien you want, and basic teleportation makes you woozy. Ooh boy, this will be fun!" Unicorn Kronos taunts.
The door of the library opens, and I see my mother. I quickly change back into my human form, to give her a sense of comfort. "Nathan, I know people can come to this planet whenever they want now, but why are we here?" My mother asks me, confused and scared.
"I honestly have no idea, that's why I am here, to investigate. I also found out that I have an Equestrian counterpart, with my same powerset." My mom looks to the left of me, and sees unicorn Kronos.
"So, this unicorn over here can also manipulate spacetime? My goodness. This is insane." She says, a bit shocked at there being not one, but two time gods in front of her.
"There is most likely a pony version of you here as well, Ms. Smith." The other me says, projecting an image of my mother, and then an image of her pony counterpart.
"Holy crap… there's a purple pegasus me? What about your father, Nathan?"
"Uhh, I don't know, but maybe Unicorn Kronos can project it?" I say, a bit confused myself.
And he does just that, projecting an image of a teal unicorn, who looks a bit like my father.
"This is insane. And these two horses are married and are your parents?" She asked my unicorn counterpart. He nods, signaling that this is the case.
"From what I understand, mom, for every pony in Equestria, there is a human of them, and vice versa. There could be exceptions, but this is what I have determined over my time here."
Suddenly, someone taps me on the shoulder. I turn around and see Twilight, who I assume just teleported behind me. "Uh, Nathan, no time for shenanigans and catching up. What is going on with the quantum hole?" Twilight asks me, concerned that more humans could end up here by mistake, or worse, in the Null Void or somewhere else.
Good point. I quickly transform back into a dragon and pause time for a moment. I find that when I pause time, I can think more clearly.
"Yo, dragon me, see anything weird? I mean, I feel a massive gap in spacetime, but I don't see it." Unicorn Kronos asks me, making sure that we are on the same wavelength.
Oh shit, I feel something coming, even in frozen time.
"Look out! Someone is coming to attac-" before I could finish my thought, a figure that looks like a Celestial Sapien, but much smaller, attacks the other me, and unpauses time. This figure blinks, and the library explodes into atoms.
Oh...fuck….this is really bad, I have never dealt with someone that can do somrthing like this. Am I in danger?
"I teleported out of the way just in time with your parents!" Twilight says, with my parents cowering for dear life.
I begin powering up immensely, but I don't go into the destroyer form. I quickly send a barrage of energy attacks at the Celestial Sapien, who quickly deflects them.
"Oh god… Other me, I need backup!"
He nods, quickly sending a cosmic blast of energy at the Celestial Sapien, which blasts it across to where the library used to be.
"Shit, this guy is worse than Luna, and they seem to be a child! If they are a hybrid, you need to figure out how to disable the alien DNA and revert them to human form!" Twilight says urgently.
"Ok, new plan. We need to reverse the flow of time on this SOB so they remain dormant." I said, and Unicorn Kronos begins to do exactly this, it seems to be working, with the cosmic energy readings dropping, and a more human like figure coming out of the Celestial Sapien.
"Aw, yeah! Unicorn Kronos for the wi-."
And then it doesn't. Unicorn Kronos gets blasted all the way towards Saddle Arabia by this hybrid. My guess is that Celestial Sapiens have some sort of failsafe mechanism that can overcome the powers of time and space. I can mess with 4 dimensions, and it seems that they can go beyond 4.
"Shit, I have no other ideas on what to do!" I say as I keep trying to deflect attacks from this foe. Even if I went Destroyer, I don't think I would have the power to subdue them.
"I might have an idea." Said someone from behind me. It was Luna.
"The fuck are you doing here, Luna?" I asked, a bit shocked that she came here in the first place.
"I am paying you back, for being a jerk all those years ago with Foundation tech. I am going to launch the moon into this bastard, and you can just rewind after."
My parents were shocked. "Did she just say launch the moon?" My dad asked.
"Yeah, she did."
Luna begins powering up immensely, regaining her infamous Nightmare Moon form.
"Hold up, Luna, I have one last trick up my sleeve!" Twilight said, "I know friendship is not the most powerful magic in the universe. Kronos taught me that time and forgiveness supersede it, but it could work on this poor thing. He is an experiment, just like him. Fluttershy! Get your flank over here! We need some kindness!"
"Did Twilight just call me?" Fluttershy asks Rarity as they were watching this battle ensue from a safe distance.
"Yes, darling, you should go see what the story is. Be careful!" Rarity replies. Fluttershy flies over to the Celestial Sapien.
"Umm, hello? Please stop blowing things up. I know you don't want to do this, think about all of the innocent Earthlings and ponies you could be hurting."
The Celestial Sapien Hybrid just floats there, not doing anything. Is this the multiple personality thing that Ben was talking about earlier? He levitates in the air for 15 minutes, not doing anything at all, which is better than blowing up Twilight's house. After these 15 minutes, the Celestial Sapien hybrid lands on the floor, and begins to shrink slightly, revealing the form of a girl no older than 10 years old, who fainted on the floor, probably from overexertion.
"Holy shit...I was fighting a 10 year old." I say, a bit shocked about this whole thing.
"Come, little one, I will fix this up quickly." Luna says, teleporting both of them away.
Okay, now I just need to fix the hole in spacetime. I pause time, and enter the 4th dimension. I fly around, looking to see where in spacetime the rupture was caused, and I see that it was at the confluence of the Everfree forest and the Null Void. I quickly close the hole, and return spacetime to its ideal state. I fly back to the old site of Twilight's house, and I reconstruct it by reversing time.
"All done!" I say as I resume the flow of time normally.
"What? My house was just...nevermind. I get it. Thanks Kronos!" Twilight said, who quickly flew into the library to make sure all the books and manuscripts are still intact.
"Why don't we call it a night, and check in with Canterlot in the morning. Then we can see what the situation is with this earthling girl." Fluttershy said, as she flew off to her cabin to go to sleep.
That is a good idea if I had ever heard one. Just for shits and giggles, when I get home, I will pause time to sleep for a hundred years. Now THAT is a nap.
"I have my own place, Dragon me, want to crash?" Unicorn Kronos asks me. I don't see why not. I follow him to his house, which is a rather quaint cabin adjacent to Canterlot.
"Guest room is on the left. Night, other me!" I find the bed, which is rather comfortable, and I pause time. "100 year nap, here we go!".
