"So now monster get missile launchers too." Connor pouted.

I didn't know what…I closed my eyes.

"Empathy link." Poseidon sighed in relief

"What are you doing, Jackson?"… "It burns."

Percy and Poseidon winced in pain.

"Bah! My poison causes pain…work while Grover was awake.

"It will work." Hermes said

"I'm glad about the link." Percy grinned at Grover.

Hey, Grover ... "Silence, you insufferable girl!"

Hades growled.

"Don't talk to my sister that way!" Nico said.

Everybody looked at Nico.

"You were ten, just saw a monster and still had the guts to say anything especially defend your sister." Will said with fondness and awe

Nico blushed.

Hades smiled proudly at Nico.

Hazel gave him a gentle smile too.

His voice quivered…Grover! Apples! Tin cans!

"Yeah, that should get his attention." Thalia laughed lightly

Grover blushed.

"Tin cans are good vegetables." He said

"Sure G-man." Percy grinned

Get your furry goat…. But all I could see was mist and darkness.

"Wait you can do that?" Rachel asked

"Yes, all sea people can." Triton said

'It's just a kind of a feeling of being closer to a water body but mostly sea." Percy informed

Rachel nodded.

Dr. Thorn pushed us toward the edge…—it is ready to deliver."

"So now they have phones too." Nico complained

"Hey at least Hermes got us phones too." Percy grinned at Hermes and Nico

Hermes flashed him a thumbs up and a grin.

There was a garbled reply…using a mobile phone.

"When you put it that way, it is creepy." Katie shuddered.

I glanced behind me…Save yourself."

"It's really creepy how monsters can guess some of your actions." Travis shivered

The demigods nodded.

"I hate it." Percy said

"What did he call you?"… Maybe.

"I don't want you to be unsure of that next time." Poseidon smiled

Percy grinned and nodded.

Tyson gave Percy a thumbs up.

"I would kill you before...who I am, do you?"

"He did it again." Pollux shuddered.

A flicker of movement…almost like a tail.

"That's a scary monster with a French accent." Jason summarized

"Basically." Percy nodded

"Unfortunately," Thorn said…no one but each other."

Hades swallowed and felt some guilt.

"Aww," Dr. Thorn said…is looking forward to meeting you.

The demigods and gods on the quest stiffened and so did Luke.

"The General?" I asked…with a French accent.

A few people chuckled.

"I mean…who's the General?"… To join a great army!

"Well I did join you." Nico shrugged

Percy grinned.

Just like that silly game…your great army and—"

"Oohkay Nico." Travis and Connor grinned.

Leo cheered.

Nico grinned sheepishly.

"Now Nico, language." Hades said though he was quite amused.

"Now, now," Dr. Thorn warned…"The Great Stirring is underway."

Despite knowing what happened, the gods froze.

"The Great what?" I asked…downfall of Olympus!"

The demigods paled.

"Okay," Bianca whispered to me…"You're completely nuts, too."

Everybody snickered, despite the danger.

"That I am." Percy smiled.

I never got the chance to argue…Thalia wielding her magic shield, Aegis.

"Good move." Athena nodded.

"At least now you have more numbers." Poseidon sighed in relief

Hades was saved from a panic attack and was wondering how his brother was managing with Percy being in danger twenty four by seven.

If you've never seen Thalia…growled when he saw it.

Thalia, Zeus, Jason and Athena smirked.

Thalia moved in with her spear. "For Zeus!"

"Thalia peanut butter is better." Percy said, looking at Tyson.

Tyson grinned and laughed.

Poseidon, Triton and Amphitrite chuckled.

Nobody except the sea gang understood anything.

I thought Dr. Thorn was a goner…land on her feet.

Zeus and Jason sighed in relief and Jason scooted a little closer to his sister.

The sound of the helicopter…impact knocked Thalia down.

"Those are very strong missiles as you call them." Beckendorf said

Grover sprang forward…entangling him.

"Nice job Grover." Dionysus said

"Thank you Mr.D." Grover smiled

Dr. Thorn roared and began to change…but his body that of a huge lion

"That's a Manticore." Athena gasped

"Yeah, dad figured it out too." Lee grinned

Apollo smiled at his son and Athena stared at him which he ignored.

His leathery, spiky tail…plus five to saving throws!"

Everybody looked at Nico who turned red.

"Attack power huh?" Will teased with a raised eyebrow

Nico turned redder.

I didn't know what he was talking about…a second volley.

"It saved your life." Tyson said happily.

"Yeah it did big guy." Percy smiled.

I heard a thwack and a yelp, and Grover landed next to me with a thud.

Dionysus and Grover rubbed their bruises.

"Yield!" the monster roared…laser-guided rockets.

Leo's mouth dropped open.

"The rockets seem pretty cool." Beckendorf admitted.

The helicopter had to be manned by mortals…would've hit her chest.

"Thanks Perce." Thalia said

Jason nodded and Zeus gave his nephew a grateful look which mad Percy do a double take.

"No problem Thals." Percy smiled.

I raised my shield over us…blowing in the woods

The hunters smirked.

The manticore froze…. "It cannot be—"

"Oh but it is." Zoe smirked

His sentence was cut short…that much accuracy.

"Only the best archers can do that." Frank shook his head

"I can't either but Lee and Michael have done it a few times, being the best." Will said

Apollo grinned proudly.

"Hey um would you like to do some archery practice with me?" Frank asked the Apollo kids

"Yeah sure." Lee grinned.

The manticore pulled the arrow…"Oh, wonderful."

Artemis raised an eyebrow at her current Lieutenant.

I didn't have a chance to ask what she meant…some kind of Persian princess.

"The Persian princess part is a little descriptive." Artemis said

"Not wrong though." Thalia said

"Permission to kill, my lady?"… Made me catch my breath

Artemis raised her eyebrows at Percy.

Percy turned red.

"Hey, she is beautiful, nobody can deny it." Thalia said

Artemis smirked and Apollo chuckled.

But her expression was stern…she charged at the monster.

"Annabeth!" Athena said, in panic

"I'm fine now mother." Annabeth smiled.

Athena took some deep breaths.

"Get back, half-blood!"… Tumbled into the darkness.

Athena kept her hand on Annabeth's shoulder.

"Annabeth!" I yelled…which scattered into the night.

"Well at least it didn't go to waste." Leo sighed

The Hunters advanced on us…"Perfect timing, as usual."

Zoe and Thalia looked at each other, sadly.

Zoë scanned the rest of us…"Who do you think you are?"

"He's distraught, it's understandable and besides well the goddess was in a teenage form, probably one younger than Percy." Luke said

Zoë stepped forward as if to smack me.

Zoe grinned sheepishly.

Percy shook his head.

"No," the other girl ordered…"Goddess of the Hunt."

"That's going to surprise him especially after the events." Triton said

"Oh it did." Percy said

"Chapter's done." Annabeth said

"I'll read." Reyna said

Annabeth gave her the book and she started.
