The demigods and gods ate lunch quietly, everybody was processing the events in the books and just thinking in general.

"Dad are you okay?" Lee asked Apollo

"Yeah, why do you ask?" Apollo asked

"Well, we just wanted to make sure that Artemis' comment didn't hurt you." Michael said

Apollo chuckled.

"Yeah I'm fine guys."

"Dad you good?" Travis asked Hermes

Hermes nodded but the children didn't believe him.

"You know you can tell us." Connor said

"It hurt a lot but it stopped once Percy woke up." Hermes smiled

"How are you holding up with the books?" Chris asked

"It does hurt seeing a few children get defected but well realizing it is one of the reasons we have the fates have sent the books." Hermes said

His children nodded.

Percy went to the beach to relax.

He wanted to take Annabeth too but she said her mother wanted Annabeth to sit with her for some time.

Percy understood the reason and decided to go for a swim.

"Hey brother." Triton said, from behind Percy

"Hey Triton." Percy smiled

"Hmm, swimming?"

"Yep."

'You swim well." Triton appreciated

"Thanks." Percy grinned.

Nico and Will went for a date in the gardens where they talked about everything except the books so that Nico wouldn't have to think about them.

"So if you had to give me attack points, how many would you give?" Will asked

"Probably around 150 because you are more of a defense as you're a healer." Nico said

Will nodded.

"So how much defense?" he asked

"Around 300-400." Nico said

"That much is for the best." He added

Will grinned.

Chiron and Hestia let everybody relax and think for a few hours.

"I think we should continue now." Chiron said

Everybody nodded and went into the throne room.

"I'll read." Hazel said, picking up the book

AN OLD DEAD FRIEND COMES TO VISIT

"What?" Clarisse asked

"Sounds like a…mummy." Chris said, laughing at first but stopping as soon as he said the last word.

"She moved?" He asked with wide eyes

Percy nodded and Chris paled.

The next morning after breakfast…snow dumped on him.

"Poor satyrs." Travis said

When I told Grover my nightmare…"I was sort of camped outside the Artemis cabin."

Everybody burst out laughing.

Grover turned red.

Zoe and Artemis looked at him.

"What for?"… "You're a stalker with hooves."

Everybody laughed louder.

Zoe and Artemis shook their heads.

"I am not!"… Between him and Zoë Nightshade.

"That would be scary." Rachel nodded.

The demigods nodded.

"What did she say?" I asked…And then he called her—"

"Whoaa-oh." Pollux said

"That was mean though." Beckendorf frowned.

"Whoa, wait…"He wears curlers in his tail?"

Everybody looked at Chiron who turned red.

He looked at Grover who grinned sheepishly.

"How did you wear pajamas?" Apollo asked

"Special pajamas." Chiron muttered.

The demigods decided to stop looking at Chiron.

Grover covered his mouth…from Artemis if Artemis is lost?'"

"That's ominous." Thalia shuddered

Zoe looked sheepish.

"No. I think she meant gone…Is that even possible?"

"Yes." Demeter grumbled

"Well, yeah. I mean…the goddess of flowers."

Nico snickered and was shaking with laughter.

Hades and Persephone raised their eyebrows at Percy who grinned sheepishly.

Grover looked offended. "Springtime."

"I was wounded." Grover said, keeping a mock hurt hand on his chest.

Everybody snickered.

"How many goddesses do you have a crush on?" Connor asked

Grover blushed.

"Three, Aphrodite, Artemis and probably Persephone." Leo said statistically

Everybody chuckled.

"Whatever. Artemis is a lot more powerful than that. Who could kidnap her? And why?"

"Percy." Poseidon groaned

Persephone glared at Percy.

"Do you want to be turned into a dandelion?" She asked, her voice full with warning

Katie shook her head so hard at Percy that Travis was scared it would fall off.

Percy was saved by Nico who fell down his couch, shaking in laughter.

Everybody looked at him when Nico couldn't take it anymore. He roared with laughter.

Hades was blinking at his son.

"That's the second time Nico saved you from a god/goddess." Leo said

Percy grinned at Nico.

Nico was still laughing.

"Son are you…okay and sane?" Hades asked, with a teasing tone

"Absolutely." Nico choked

He got up and sat on the couch.

Grover shook his head miserably…bin for their enemies.

Everybody snickered.

"That's one way to describe it." Poseidon chuckled.

Two summers ago…pile of evil bark mulch.

"You just called the titan lord a pile of evil bark mulch." Dakota said in surprise

"You bet I did." Percy grinned

Everybody laughed.

"I don't know," Grover said…kissed the trunk at top speed.

The demigods smiled softly.

Aphrodite sighed.

"Ah, love," Grover said dreamily…"I've got to talk to Zoë," I said.

"She might think that you were spying on them too." Travis said

"I didn't think of that." Percy winced.

"Um, before you do"… was thinking about joining."

Percy grimaced and so did Annabeth.

"Oh so that's why you looked so worried." She said

Percy nodded.

"Don't worry, I'm not leaving you Seaweed Brain." Annabeth grinned

Percy blushed.

Aphrodite was squirming in her seat because of the love between the pair.

I'd like to say…one eternal maiden at a time.

Everybody looked at Percy.

Artemis raised her eyebrows.

Annabeth was blushing.

Artemis was expecting the answer to an un-asked question.

"I had a slight crush on her, I didn't want the hunters to take her away." Percy said

The rest of the day…still sent me packing.

Everybody burst out laughing.

"Who was that?" Clarisse asked

"Lucas." Will said

"It was super funny to watch, Lucas had to go and change his pants in the cabin before continuing." Pollux snickered.

I visited the pegasus stables, but Silena Beauregard from the Aphrodite cabin was having an argument with one of the Hunters, and I decided I'd better not get involved.

Silena scowled.

After that, I sat in the empty…He might not tell me everything he knew.

Chiron sighed.

He didn't say anything because he knew Percy was right on one hand.

I looked the other direction…stepped into the attic.

"You had the guts to do that?" Travis shuddered

"For my friends yes but it's not really about guts. The old Oracle was creepy." Percy shuddered.

There were shields with monster…tie-dyed hippie dress.

"Percy you just described the Oracle as a mummy in a hippie dress." Chris stated

Percy grinned.

I made myself walk toward her…dead and stuck in the attic

Apollo shot a pointed glare toward Hades but soon relented and sighed.

But I knew the spirit…coiled sleeping snake.

Apollo shuddered.

"I have a question," I said a little louder…I was being stonewalled by a corpse.

"It wouldn't tell you anything unless it's your quest, sorry Perce." Apollo sighed

"Oh okay and it's not your fault." Percy grinned

"All right," I said…Oh, no. No love magic for you!

Annabeth turned red.

"Stay away from the love magic." Thalia quoted

Annabeth threw a pillow at Thalia who grinned.

I'd just assumed she'd thrown it away…like she was smiling gruesomely.

The elder Greek campers shuddered.

I dropped the scarf…number of campers.

"Only around thirteen campers?" Hermes asked worriedly

"Yeah not all of them stayed year-round." Beckendorf said

Zoë Nightshade looked pretty upset…I guess Zoë had told them about her nightmare.

"I did, many of them panicked." Zoe said

Artemis sighed, she was upset that her hunters felt sad but glad that they were closed to her.

On our team…few Aphrodite kids

"Even the Aphrodite kids played?" Annabeth asked

"Yeah, they were pretty mad about the hunters." Percy said

It was weird that the Aphrodite cabin…they were raring to go.

"Mad about the argument?" Artemis asked

"That and them burning our cabin down the last time they visited." Silena said

"I'll show them 'love is worthless'…"I'll pulverize them!"

"Wow Silena is feeling violent." Travis said

"Love isn't worthless." Surprisingly Percy spoke up

Everybody looked at him.

"Love isn't just romantic relationships, it is about all relationships. The hunters may not approve of romantic relationships but even between us we share a lot of love." Percy said, gesturing to the campers.

"Us loving our family is also love." Percy said

Aphrodite nodded and gave Percy a grateful look and Artemis raised an eyebrow. She hadn't really thought about that.

That left Thalia and me…you'd be better defense?"

"He's right." Triton said

"The shield would serve as better defense, it would reduce the chance of a fast attack and Percy is a fast kid so he could grab the opponent flag." Clarisse said, think strategically

Ares nodded.

Thalia already had Aegis…killed by a hellhound.

Poseidon and Percy winced.

"Yeah, no problem," I lied.

"Why didn't you say something?" Thalia asked

"I figured you probably would tell me off." Percy shrugged

"What about now?" Thalia asked

"Oh I would definitely say something now." He said

"Cool." Thalia turned…Unfortunately, I probably had.

"You did." Chris said

"Yeah we could hardly see you." Clarisse joked

Percy stuck his tongue out at the couple.

Nico lifted his sword with effort…"But the Hunters are immortal, right?"

"Whoa dude." Travis said

"Hey it was a valid question." Nico defended

"Well… it was." Travis sighed

That's only if they don't fall in battle…so we could keep fighting, and—"

Everybody chuckled at his innocence.

"Yeah like a video game." Connor grinned

Nico nodded.

"Nico, this is serious…Whoa. Not a good sign.

Everybody laughed.

"Well your mother is pretty kind." Poseidon said

"I know but I don't want the 'parent seriousness.' I mean I would like to keep it casual." Percy said

I patted Nico on the shoulder…We'll have a blast."

"I love that I have to be warned about." Zoe smirked

"Heroes!" he called…Do I get one?"

"Unfortunately no." Pollux sighed.

"Unless you get them from somewhere." Castor added

I was about to break it to him…More like an idiot.

Thalia winced a little.

We set our flag at the top of Zeus's Fist…place the Poop Pile

There was silence for two seconds and the demigods, Poseidon and hades burst out laughing.

Zeus glared at Percy.

Especially after it had been named for Zeus, who doesn't have much of a sense of humor.

"That's the exact reason that I can't imagine him telling satyr jokes." Connor said

"None of us can." Percy clarified

Everybody snickered.

Anyway, it was a good place…figuring he'd be safely out of the way.

Hades nodded.

"We'll send out a decoy to the left"… catch them by surprise."

"You can't do it all." Annabeth said

Everybody nodded…"Percy!" She touched my arm and shocked me

"He's actually supposed to be the captain but he asked you to co-captain so you wouldn't be left out but you kind of ignored that. Also, leaving for a golden opportunity then it's worth it." Triton said

Thalia winced.

"Sorry Percy." Thalia said

I mean, everybody can…fry off people's eyebrows.

A few people snickered.

"Sorry," Thalia said…But nothing happened.

"You should expect the unexpected." Artemis said

I caught a glimpse of Silena…their center had to be wide open.

"So that's what happened." Thalia said

"Yes." Percy said

If I moved fast…sprawling in the snow.

Nico and Hades looked at Percy.

"Sorry!" I yelled.

"Well at least you said sorry." Nico smiled

I ripped down the silver silk…the horrible smell of sulfur.

"Fart arrows." Michael gasped

"Odd choice for hunters." Lee said

"No fair!" Thalia gasped…for good measure

"That was unnecessary." Triton said

"She hurt brother." Tyson said

"It was in a game Ty." Percy told him

The Hunters cheered as both…helmet like antennae

Hermes glared at Artemis.

"Do your hunters understand the concept of fun and friendly games?" he asked

Artemis cringed.

"The Hunters win!"… For the fifty sixth time in a row."

Artemis tried her best not to smirk as Hermes was still glaring at her.

"Perseus Jackson!" Thalia yelled…"I saw a chance and I took it!"

"It was worth a shot." Beckendorf said

"I WAS AT THEIR BASE!" Thalia yelled. "But the flag was gone. If you hadn't butted in, we would've won."

"No you couldn't have. You can't single-handedly win a capture the flag game Thalia." Clarisse said

Thalia grimaced.

"You had too many on you!"… "Sorry!" Thalia said, turning pale.

Poseidon gave a yelp of pain as the pressure slammed into him. Percy flinched.

"You just made him mad." Chris winced

"I didn't mean to—"…"I didn't mean to, either."

"Wow." Triton said

Thalia and Zeus were dripping wet.

Thalia was breathing heavily…I had a feeling it was my clothes.

Tears welled in Poseidon's eyes. Percy managed to place a hand on his dad's back.

Their clothes were burnt.

"Thalia!" Chiron said… in a massive icy funnel cloud.

"Wait you did what?" Amphitrite asked

"You have great control, it is not easy to do that." Triton said

"Percy!" Chiron pleaded…Never."

Apollo paled.

And yet, the withered mummy…looked like she was in pain

Apollo growled.

Five shall go west to…perish by a parent's hand.

"That's a very depressing prophecy. It already say two are going to die." Rachel winced

Percy grimaced.

Then, as we were watching…for a hundred years.

The campers shuddered.

"That's plain creepy." Travis shivered.

"Chapter's over." Hazel said

"Let's break for the night." Chiron said

Everybody nodded.

They all went to their quarters and slept in.

Hades and Nico were lying awake thinking about Bianca.
