Poseidon looked as pale as a ghost.

"Tell me it doesn't mean what I think it does." He pleaded to his son

Percy didn't answer.

The horrible thing was…I'd come to appreciate.

Zoe gave a quick smile to Percy.

Artemis was glad that he had come to appreciate Zoe.

"Let Artemis go," Zoë demanded…almost taking off his fingers.

"Good one sis." Apollo grinned

Artemis gave him a weak smile.

"How come the curse isn't acting up?" Hades asked

"The scene hasn't been described." Nico said

"Hoo-hoo," Atlas chuckled…weaklings some humility."

"Freaking shit no." Percy spat

"To Tartarus with him." Nico agreed

"I mean sure the gods need to change but not how Atlas says." Thalia nodded

Poseidon, Hades and Zeus smiled at their respective children.

I looked at Annabeth…streaked with gray.

There were a few streaks of gray in Athena's hair.

"From holding the sky," Thalia muttered…mere mortal directly

"Well that's just it, the gods taught us nothing of that sort. Our rules don't care about titan rules." Percy grinned

"Oh yeahh." The Stolls grinned

It is beneath our dignity.

"Yeah it is your dignity to fight a whole battle against demigods and lose." Castor laughed

The demigods snickered.

The gods were thinking that the demigods certainly their own way of expressing anger.

I will have Luke crush you instead"… I almost would've felt sorry for him.

"Ah the good old almost." Nico joked

"Thalia, you still can join us…Block the thoughts!

"Oh no, think of anything else." Apollo said

I tried to make my mind go blank…Anything but Bessie.

Apollo nodded.

"Thalia, call the Ophiotaurus," Luke persisted…fathers have done nothing for us

Zeus frowned.

Hermes looked down and Athena looked at her daughter, wondering if she said anything.

They have no right to rule the world!"… Made of fear and shadow

"That's dark and that's coming from me." Nico said

"We will raise Mount Othrys right here," Luke promised…was a great army.

"You may not be weak with an army but we aren't weak as we've got willpower and friends." Pollux said

Dracaenae and Laistrygonians, monsters…they would be here.

"He's been busy with recruiting." Poseidon muttered

"This is only a taste…All we need is your help."

"Camp was his home." Demeter said

"Was… Also he never considered it like that." Chris sighed

"How do you know?"

"He told me. He said that 'how is it a home for those whose parents don't care about them?'" Chris said

For a terrible moment…I don't know you anymore."

Zeus nodded.

Annabeth got up and held Thalia's hand.

"Yes, you do, Thalia," he pleaded…fighting with friends like this.

"I agree with myself. When I die, I want to die for my friends." Percy said

Everybody had a few tears in their eyes when they looked at Percy.

"Now," I said…leaving him alone.

A few snickers.

But despite his sickly appearance, Luke was still quick with his sword.

Hermes didn't know whether to feel relieved or not.

He snarled like a wild animal…I attacked the Titan Lord Atlas.

"My son just charged Atlas." Poseidon muttered

Percy grinned sheepishly.

He laughed as I approached…as long as he has the nerve.

"Just because you can doesn't mean that you should." Chris said

"Well…" Percy said, clearing his throat at the end.

Once I attacked…your sword will fail you.

"ARES!" Poseidon roared

Ares was trying to shrink into his couch.

"MY SON COULD'VE DIED!" Poseidon yelled, advancing on Ares

"Well he's alive." Ares tried weakly

"NOT THE POINT. YOU CURSED HIM FOR BEATING YOU IN A FREAKING FAIR FIGHT AND YOU CURSED HIM FOR NO REASON AT ALL." Poseidon shouted

Clarisse and Frank made no move to defend Ares, they were looking in a bit of horror at him.

"Brother." Hestia got up and put her hand on his shoulder.

"What's happened has happened. Please go and sit down." She said softly

Poseidon gave a last murderous glare to Ares and went and sat down.

Not now! I pleaded…my head spinning.

Poseidon rubbed his chest and held his head.

I looked up and found I was at the feet of Artemis, still straining under the weight of the sky.

Artemis felt like she was holding the sky once more.

"Run, boy," she told me.

It lasted for only a second and she was fine again.

"You must run!"… but it didn't matter.

"It'd be too late." Chiron winced

I'd be dead by then…struggling to free her hands.

Athena grimaced, remembering that her daughter didn't have any weapon or defense at the point of time.

"Die, little hero," Atlas said…chink in Atlas's armor.

Everybody cheered.

"ARGH!" He bellowed…chill went down my back.

Poseidon shuddered.

I remembered the words… "Give it to me."

Artemis smiled at Percy, she knew what he had asked but the move still touched her. He had managed to interpret a prophecy, swallow his pride and offered to hold the damn sky.

Everybody looked at Percy but Zoe quickly read on. Percy gave her a grateful look.

"No, boy," Artemis said. Her forehead was beaded with metallic sweat, like quicksilver.

The same thing was happening to the Artemis in the throne room as well.

"You don't know what…the sky's weight crushing me.

Poseidon yelled in pain.

"Dad!" Percy said, got up, sat on the floor on one knee and put his hands on his dad's shoulders.

"You just… you- how?" Castor asked, not able to form proper words.

"You managed to h-hold up the s-sky." Apollo stammered

"Yeah." Percy said, without looking at him. His gaze was mostly fixed to his father.

"Triton some help." Percy said

Triton nodded and knelt next to Percy once he got over the shock that his brother was holding the freaking sky.

"That is exactly how it felt." Annabeth said

Athena shuddered, apparently she had it better as the exact feelings hadn't been described.

"Learning about it in gossip is something but… in real thoughts it's just different altogether." Silena shook her head

"Please continue reading." Percy pleaded to Zoe

Zoe was stunned too but she quickly continued.

Fight back! Grover's voice said inside my head. Don't give up.

Percy smiled at Grover who gave him a thumbs up.

I concentrated on breathing…I could hold the sky.

Hades and Nico looked at Percy. He had used Bianca, his friend for inspiration instead of using anything else. Nico knew all about Percy's loyalty and his love for his friends but he had never heard of anybody using it to be so motivated that they could hold up something so heavy or complete such a difficult task.

Similar thoughts seemed to have passing through Hades' head. He didn't know his nephew too well but he was getting along pretty well with him here. He blamed himself for Bianca's death, thinking that he should've died and now he was using her death as an inspiration. He was certainly a different boy. In fact this group of demigods did seem very unique.

My vision turned fuzzy. Everything was tinged with red.

Poseidon whimpered.

Triton and Percy exchanged glances.

"Its okay dad, it'll get over." Percy said in a gentle voice.

"Perce need some help?" Piper asked

"Thanks Pipes, but I don't want to charmspeak my dad." Percy smiled

Piper nodded and chuckled.

A few gods looked at Percy in amazement.

I caught glimpses of the battle…growling in frustration.

"How did you manage to see all that, I could barely see straight or feel anything for that matter except the pain?" Annabeth asked

"I don't know." Percy shrugged

Annabeth shook her head fondly.

Sweat poured down my face…together by a blowtorch.

Tears were streaming down Poseidon's face.

Percy was getting more and more worried by the second.

"Its alright dad, it'll be fine. Think about the sea." Percy said

"Will can I have some water?" Percy asked suddenly

Will nodded and threw him a bottle.

Percy opened the bottle, put some water on his hands and transferred it to his dad. He didn't know whether the water would provide energy against the curse but it was worth a shot.

Atlas advanced…Agggghh-owwwwwwww.

A few people snickered.

You fight well for a girl." Atlas laughed…javelin tip for the kill.

"No!" Apollo yelled.

Artemis put her hand on her brother's shoulder. Apollo seemed to relax a little.

"No!" Zoë screamed…lodged like a unicorn's horn

Everybody laughed and cheered.

"Brilliant Zoe." Lee grinned

Zoe smiled at him.

Atlas bellowed in rage…into the black rocks.

"NO!" the demigods yelled

Artemis yelped and rubbed the places she felt were affected.

I wanted to shout her name…sending him flying over her.

Everybody cheered.

Artemis had relaxed as well.

"That was a great and swift trick." Beckendorf nodded

Artemis nodded in thanks.

I saw him coming down on top of me…rolled for all I was worth.

"How did you analyze the move? Athena asked

"I have no idea, I just thought that and I figured it out so I followed." Percy said

Athena studied the boy, who was still on one knee on the floor.

The weight of the sky dropped…Atlas was trapped under his old burden.

Everybody cheered louder.

Poseidon sat back up and took deep breaths.

"Dad are you okay?" Percy asked

"I'm fine son." Poseidon smiled

"Are you…mad at me?" Percy asked

Poseidon blinked.

"Why would I be mad at you?" he asked

"Because I took the weight of the sky and now you had to feel it."

"I'm not mad at you or at anyone. The point of the curse is for us to know what you feel." Poseidon smiled

Percy nodded.

He and Triton went back to their seats.

I tried to stand and fell back again…My body felt like it was burning up

Poseidon winced.

Thalia backed Luke…face glistened with sweat.

Hermes' shirt started getting soaked with ichor and his face was getting covered in sweat.

Connor was sitting the closest to Hermes and he put his hand on Hermes' shoulder who had tears in his eyes, not knowing whether it was from physical pain or emotional pain or both.

He lunged at Thalia…streaked with dirt.

Athena was in a similar position as Annabeth.

"He's a traitor," Thalia said…Annabeth screamed.

"No." Hermes muttered

We rushed to the cliff's edge…and he wasn't moving.

Hermes buried his head in his hands. Though he knew Luke made it out from there, it wasn't any less worse.

"Again Luke's pain isn't described so no curse." Demeter muttered

One of the giants looked up…tears streaming down her cheeks

Zeus was in a similar state as Thalia though he looked slightly angry.

I pulled her back…already sapping her strength.

Artemis looked very close to passing out.

Zoe looked around desperately from the book.

"I'll read the rest of the chapter." Dakota said

Zoe nodded in thanks and gave him the book.

Will rushed to his dad.

They both tended to the wound. Will spoke some words and the wound was a little less poisoned. He quickly dressed the rest of the wound. Apollo gave his son a very proud smile and a hug.

"Thank you." He said

"No problem dad." Will said, a little tiredly

Apollo must have noticed this and he took his son to the couch.

"You okay?" Nico asked Will

"Yeah, just a little tired." Will smiled

Nico nodded.

"The stars," Zoë murmured…monsters into scattering.

Everybody cheered at the top of their lungs.

"Dad?" yelled Annabeth in disbelief…grudging approval

"You okay sis? You just complimented a man." Apollo teased

Artemis stuck her tongue out at her brother.

"Come. We must get Zoë…sulfurous yellow powder.

"Annabeth you have an amazing father like us." Leo grinned

Annabeth smiled and Hephaestus grinned.

"That's…my dad!"… That legend came from?"

"The sleigh legend came from the moon chariot?" Thalia asked

Artemis nodded.

"Wow." Thalia muttered.

Seeing us safely away…under the weight of the sky

Everybody snickered but they were sad about Zoe.

"Done." Dakota said

"I guess it's my turn now." Dionysus sighed

Dakota gave his father the book with a smile which Dionysus returned.
