Chapter 3 is here. Hope you guys are enjoying this. I'm sorry if you don't. I just realized that this is either Incredibles 3, or The Amazing Spider-Man 2. Let me know if you want me to change the title. Anyways, check out my other stories. And remember, stay home, stay safe.

Peter and Bob were driving in the Incredibile. The young teen was surprised that after the stunt he pulled earlier that week, Mr. Parr would allow him to have his voice installed into the supercar.

The car pulls into a long driveway, leading to a bigger house, bigger than the Parr's house. New York doesn't even have houses this big. The car pulls to a stop. And when Peter wonders why, he realizes that a laser fence was in front of them! Bob pushes a button on the screen on the driver's side. A few minutes later, Peter hears a nasal woman's voice!

"What is it THIS time? Why must you always come to ME because you cannot figure out how to take care of your 3rd child, when the first 2, you did fine WITHOUT ME?!"

Confused, Peter just keeps silent. Bob answers the voice, "We have a some new blood. But he is in DIRE need of an upgrade!"

The nasal voice changes from annoyed, to THRILLED! "A new Super?! Why didn't you just say so?! Come in right away!"

Peter and Bob were waiting for someone to open the door to this big house! Peter can't help but wonder why ANYone would need this much space. He imagines it would be lonely.

The door opens, and out comes... It took Peter a second to think to look down. And down father! "Robert, is this the new super?"

Bob replies, "Yes E. And he is in desperate need of a new suit."

The short woman looks at Peter, and says, "Come in you two! Boy, we have a lot to discuss."

As the 3 people walk throughout the house, Peter can't help but ask, "I'm sorry, I was never told your name? I'm Peter by the way."

"Edna Mode, darling." The name rings a bell to Peter. "I am Mr. Incredible's, Elastagirl's, and Frozone's EXCLUSIVE designer, throughout the known universe to the end of time. And now, I am YOURS." Peter cannot help but feel that she might be a bit of a maniac. The woman leads them to another room in the house, and Peter sees statues of multiple suits. He can't help but wonder if some have worn them before.

Edna then leads them into a room LARGER than the living room they were in, just a few moments ago. The woman then points to Peter, "Please come here so I can take your measurements." After she measures his leg length, waist, and torso, Edna finally asks, "Will you please demonstrate your powers in the next room?" Peter enters the glass room, and jumps onto the wall, and sticks to it. After getting settled, the teen takes it a step further, and walks up the side of the wall to the ceiling.

Edna gasps! "You are Spider-Man?!"

Peter was surprised that he had fans outside of New York. "I am. I would shoot a web, but I didn't bring my web shooters."

"Come out of the dome!" Peter complies. "Your web shooters, how do they work?! Did you create the formula yourself, or do you have a supplier?"

Peter was amazed that this woman was a fashion designer, AND a science enthusiast! "I produced them myself at school under my desk and at my home. I make the web cartridges small enough to fit in my web shooter which acts like a spider shooting a web."

"In order for this suit to be complete, it will need to be able to hold lots and lots of webbing. Would be kind enough to give me your formula, and I will keep a copy locked up in my super secret safe?"

"Of course I would." Peter is smiling a little bit. "I didn't realize that I had a fan outside of New York."

"Almost all of Metroville is a fan!" Edna exclaims! "This city is a lot like New York. Trouble always seems to start here. New York has had more heroes than us for the past few years. When the SRP went into effect nation wide, many of our heroes scattered to the wind. And slowly, one by one, they died off. A pretender had lured many heroes to their deaths, just so he could pretend to be one." They all take a moment to honor the fallen heroes who just wanted to do what was right.

"Now, I have an idea of what your suit should look like. The red and blue that you wear will be incorporated, but your symbol will be changed slightly. It will show that you have been given an opportunity to do more good in other places."

"Yeah, I've been needing a new costume design. One thing that has always been intriguing to me is a cape-"

"No capes!" Peter is shocked for a second because she was sweet and nice for one second, the next, she was up in his face about it.

"Why?" Peter stupidly asked instead of just saying okay.

Bob tries to tell Edna to spare him of her stories, but she goes on to list several heroes who were killed because of their capes. Peter is pale to the face because one of them included an elevator and the other a PLANE engine. Once more, for added measure, Edna says, "No capes!"

"Okay, no capes. I can live with that. I don't really know why I would need one anyways." Peter says.

"Good. Now, I will spend every waking moment working on what is to be my finest creation! Where can I send your suit?"

Peter says, "I'm staying with the Parrs for a while, so you can just send it over to their address."

"Alright darling. Robert, thank you so much for bringing me the boy. I will enjoy working on his suit. Now, GO! The summer is still young, and I would hate for you to miss out on it because you were with me."

After everyone had left, Edna got to work. She also does a little digging on this Peter. She always does as a force of habit. And what she finds on the young teen helps give her a little more respect for the boy.

July passed, and August was just starting. Peter had been helping with the crime rates. Robberies, and break-ins were becoming less often. The Incredible family had started taking on Peter's way of fighting crime. Finding it before it can continue to the point where someone gets hurt.

Peter and Violet made a great team. One evening, Peter had been fighting a group of armed men, and was dodging so much, he couldn't fight back. Violet suddenly shows up invisible, so Peter doesn't know what's going until the last guy is out, and the girl shows herself.

Peter REALLY wanted the power to turn invisible. Maybe the next Spider-Man will get lucky.

Helen was becoming the mother that Peter never had. Aunt May was always enough for him, because she was all he had. He loved her and was thankful that she provided for him, but sometimes the only one who is everything to you is just not enough.

Dash RIVALED Peter in the wit. Their banter would drive ANYONE crazy. Sometimes, they could go on for hours if they really wanted to. Peter and Dash were becoming brothers more and more.

And Jack-Jack took a liking to Peter, and Peter had never been afraid of babies until what he saw one evening. The New York teen had wondered why he constantly wears a red onesie. When Jack-Jack had turned into a Flaming Hulk, he knew why.

Bob and Peter were at a bit of a disadvantage with one another. Peter had been the man of the house for so long, he had kind of forgotten how to be submissive to another man.

But, things were going better for Peter. He was still saddened by his Aunt's death, but because he was put with more people and a new parent figure, he was able to deal with it better. There were times that he talked to Helen. She had become the mother he never knew. And even though things were looking up, Peter's like was about to become unraveled again.

Peter had been watching the news. For what ever reason, he was watching the news. Something he rarely did. Helen and Bob were out working their 9-5 jobs, and the kids were all doing something else. The teen was bored out of his mind, until the next announcement caught his attention.

"It has been a year since the death of Norman Osborn, the creator and founder of Oscorp. Since that time, his son, Harry Osborn had taken over the company, and invested company money into Dr. Curt Connors DNA project, which had turned around and backfired on the company, causing the Lizard to attack last year. Now, it has been confirmed that Harry Osborn will be attending a demonstration by Dr. Otto Octavius, and his latest project is hoping to be able to provide the city with unlimited renewable energy. We are standing outside of Osborn's hotel, waiting for a statement from him."

Peter jumps out of the couch, and gets his shoes on. Violet, who had come down to the kitchen to get a snack, sees this. "Where are you going?"

Peter just looks at her and opens the door. "To see a friend."

"I didn't realize you had a friend in Metroville." Violet looks at him suspiciously.

Peter just shrugs and says, "Me neither."

The teen runs to where Harry was staying. Peter was desperate to see the friend he hasn't seen in forever.

The hotel is still packed with reporters. He remembers his friend did not like to be crowded, but he also loved to escape. Peter remembers when they were kids when the kids would try to spend time with him because he was rich, Peter and Harry would run and find ways to escape with misdirection. It took a few minutes, but someone came out. It wasn't Harry, but a second person quickly walked out as the cameras were pointed at the man. Once the man had taken off his glasses, Peter recognized the face.

Not wanting to give away his friend, Peter follows him for a second. Once they are away from the crowds and out of range, Peter runs up behind the man, and taps him on the shoulder. "Harry."

Once the figure turned around, Harry has to process who he was seeing. But the only living person he knew who called Harry by his name was Peter Parker. "Pete?" Harry smiles. "Peter Parker. How have you been?"

"I'm doing good. Things have been alright." Peter smiles.

Harry says, "I heard about what happened to May on the news. I'm sorry man." Harry pulls his friend into a hug.

"Thank you. I'm sorry about your dad also." Peter responds.

"Thanks." Harry then asks, "So what are you doing in Metroville?"

"I'm staying with some friends of May's. It's been about a month now. It's been nice."

"That's cool. They have kids that you can mess around with?"

Peter chuckles a bit. "They have a 13-year-old boy who gets into trouble often. The daughter is more on the serious side, but she is cool."

"Oh-ho-ho!" Harry exclaims at the mention of a daughter. "Peter Parker! You dog!"

Peter quickly shuts down any ideas with a smile. "Yeah, nothing has happened. Sorry to ruin your fantasies."

The 2 teens share a chuckle. "Hey, wanna grab a bite to eat, then we can walk around the city for a bit." Harry suggests.

"That sounds like fun."

The friends then spend the rest of the day with each other, talking about all the events that have happened since they last saw each other. When Harry mentions the Octavius demonstration, the rich man asks, "Hey, I remember you were a science geek in school. Why don't you come with me to the show in a few days."

"That would be nice Harry, but I don't wanna be a problem."

"It's not problem at all. You will be my personal guest." Harry says. After a few more insists, Peter finally agrees to go. It was about 6 when Peter says that he's gotta go.

"Let me give you a ride." Harry offers.

"You left your car at the hotel." Peter reminds. "I'll just grab a cap. It will be fine."

"Alright. Well, take care." As Harry starts to walk away, he says, "See you in a few days Pete."

Peter gets back to the Parr's, pays the cab, and heads inside. He knew that he would probably get in trouble for leaving without telling anyone where or who he was with. But he didn't feel like telling them that he was friends with Harry.

Peter walks in through the door, and walks into the kitchen to see everybody waiting and eating. Bob gets up as the rest of his family eats. "Where were you?"

"I was with a friend." Peter answers.

"I thought you didn't have friends here?"

Peter gets this feeling of deja vu. "Violet said something similar when I went out."

"We were worried about you." Bob says in seriousness.

Peter looks at him. "I'm sorry." Peter goes to get a plate, but is stopped by Bob's arm. "Excuse me." Peter tries to go around, but Bob stops him again.

"That behavior is not okay kid." Bob tells him. "We need to know where you are going."

The teen says, "I told you where I was. I said I was with a friend."

"Who is the friend?"

"He prefers to remain anonyms."

Peter tries to go around again, but Bob grabs his arm. "Don't get sarcastic with me kid. I can do this all day."

"I'm sure you can."

Once again, Peter is stopped by Bob. "We need to know who you are with and where you are in case something bad happens."

Peter looks up at the man. "I'm not helpless. I'm Spider-Man for God's sakes. I can take care of myself."

This isn't the first time Peter and Bob have been on the opposite sides of an argument. "I know you are Spider-Man, but you are also inexperienced."

"I've been doing this for a few years now. I think I'm past the stage of being called a noob."

"True, but you are still pretty young." Bob tries to reason. "And when you are young, and even have a little experiance, you still have a tendency to make mistakes."

Peter out of slight anger says, "Look who's talking. You couldn't give up hero work when you were underground, and you uprooted your family again and again. That sounds like a pretty big mistake to me."

"How do you know about that?"

"Captain Stacy told me. It's part of the reason why he didn't like me being Spider-Man." Peter replies. "Again, sounds like YOU made the bigger mistake when you were a husband and FATHER. Who does that?"

Helen interjects. "Alright you two. That's enough. Peter, will you please get a plate and eat?" Once Peter gets settled, she says, "You had us worried Peter. We just want to make sure that we are okay for our own peace of mind."

Peter says, "Yes Helen. I'm sorry."

Bob sighs, and then says to Peter, "I think I know why we have had the problems we have been having. You are used to being the man of the house aren't you?"

"Ben was the last father figure I had. It was me and May from that point on, so I had to step up. Captain Stacy helped fill a little bit of that hole, but it was still just me and May." Peter says.

Bob tells the teen, "Well, as hard as it may be for you, you don't have to take care of anyone now. That burden is no longer yours to bear."

"It wasn't a burden. It was my responsibility."

"Well, either way," Bob says, "it's no longer your job to take care of anyone."

Dinner is silent the rest of the night. Peter goes up to his room afterwards. He was no longer sharing a room with Dash. Which was good. He loved the kid, but sometimes, you just need your own room.

He was surprised at how quick the room was built. He thought it would take longer, but what does he know about construction? NOTHING. As Peter changes into his hoodie suit, he hears a knock on the door. Peter opens it, and it's Violet. Usually it's Bob, so he didn't put on his shirt. Violet at first was speechless. "Oh. I'm sorry, I didn't realize-"

"No, that's okay. It's my fault." Peter quickly puts on the long sleeve shirt. "Um, what's going on?"

"Dad want's to see you in the living room." Violet turns to lead. She was glad he couldn't see the blush on her face. It quickly leaves after she gets down stairs.

Peter sees a suit case on the couch. Bob tells him, "This came in earlier." The teen saw Edna's logo on the case. "Why don't you open it up?"

Peter does just that. And the suit he sees is just AMAZING! The red and blue colors are great! The spider logo was redesigned, and white. The logo was on his chest and his back. White patches were also on the arm pieces going from his elbow to wrist. And the mask looked amazing as well. He then saw a note from Edna.

Ever want another suit? Just give me a call. Now, go fight some crime!

-E

Peter would have to remember to send Edna a card. "Why don't you go upstairs and try it on?"

The teen does just that. Peter was amazed at how easy the suit was to get into. For starters, the suit had a big hole in the area meant for his head. He was able to fit his legs, and his chest into the suit. He noticed that it was a little big still. He looked at the note again, and turned it around so he was looking at the back.

Press your chest piece to inflate and deflate.

With that new information, he does just that. And the suit suddenly sucks itself tight around Peter's body. This is very convenient. No more spending a lot of time changing.

Peter goes back to the living room, mask in hand, and stands for a second. Everyone was smiling at him.

"Congratulations." Helen says.

"Thanks." Peter answers.

Violet had been impressed with Edna's design. And she was more impressed with how the suit had made his muscles more obvious. And when Peter had looked her way with his mask, she quickly made it look like she was looking at the symbole on his chest.

"You look good kid." Bob complimented.

"Thanks. The suit feels really comfortable. The only thing that I need to test out now is the mask. Masks can make or break suits." Peter quickly realizes how his comment may have sounded. "But your masks are great. Really." The teen puts on his new mask.

"Hello Peter."

"Woah!" Peter looks around. "Who said that?"

"I did. I am your personal A.I. I was designed by Edna Mode and Tony Stark to help you ease your way into utilizing your suit to the fullest of your abilities."

"Okay, this is cool!"

"What's going on Peter?" Bob asks.

"I got a suit lady." Peter replies.

"Suit lady?" Violet asks with a slight chuckle.

"It's an A.I." Peter clarifies, realizing he might sound stupid if he just kept calling her suit lady. "Edna designed it to help me ease into the suit."

"Edna must really like you." Dash says. "She doesn't make suits like that for every hero she designs for."

Peter was never the type to crave the spotlight, but he was flattered. "Alright, well, now the voice in my head is not my imagination, I was thinking of taking this suit out for a test run?"

"That sounds good to me." Helen answers the teen.

Violet says, "Mind if I drive him? It's my night to patrol anyways."

Bob tells her it's fine.

Violet drives Peter to the city, and the 2 teens leave the car in a back ally. They will meet up at the end of the night to head back home. Peter climbs up the side of a building, and looks out across the city. Strangely, this city was starting to become his home. He wasn't sure if he should be ashamed or grateful that he is coping with his Aunt's death better than his Uncle's. But Peter could dwell on that later. Right now, Peter had a city to protect.

And this is where we leave. Ha! Okay, well, hope you enjoy. Peter will take his first swing in the next chapter. Let me know your thoughts. And remember, stay home, stay safe. Have a good day.
