The multiverse is infinite. Infinite in the truest sense. Every picosecond infinite alternate realities spring from each other, continuing on like an infinite string of DNA that replicates infinite times and so on. This was what made up the cosmic abstract being eternity. He was for all intents and purposes everything that was, is, and will come to be.

However, he was not the only being of such insane abstract existence. He had a lover. Another abstract conceptual being.

The Queen of Nevers was everything he wasn't. While he was everything there was, is, and will be, she was everything that would not come to pass, everything that never happened, and everything that would never happen. These two abstracts formed everything there was, will be, and never was.

While Eternity existed to build, to grow, The Queen of Nevers existed to destroy. In fact, infinite realities died within her every second. Realities that never came to pass. She existed to remember and mourn all of those things that never were. She was where dreams went to die, where hope turned to despair. However, in somewhat of an oxymoronic sense, she was not evil.

As such, if she saw the particularly sad destruction of a universe or reality, she would interfere and then that universe would no longer be under her domain and instead become part of her lover, Eternity.

This second, a reality was being destroyed, a reality that did not deserve it's destruction. Knowing that if she did nothing it would fade away to nothingness, thus she decided to give it a chance.

Shrinking her hand and suppressing her power to such an extent as to not destroy the tiny reality by virtue of existing, she reached down through space and time and gave a blessing to one of the beings in the fragile universe. A young girl who had been a Zero for most of her short life.

Since her fragile body could not instantly handle such massive power without going insane, she placed psychic blocks on the immense psychic and reality-altering power the girl gained until she was ready to use it. Perhaps with the power she was blessed with she could save her reality. Who knows?

Louise stood by the window of her room, looking out at the night sky. The moon was floating high above, washing the land with it's soft white light. This night was no normal night. This was the night before the familiar summoning. Louise had been worried about her performance when the time would come to summon a familiar. All she could do was cause explosions with her power. She had searched for years for a solution to her problem. Yet she could not find answers. This was not because of any incompetence on her part, for she was an excellent student.

In fact, she was one of the most prestigious students in the Tristain Academy of Magic when it came to scholarly work and academic papers. However, that was not enough in a school of magic. She needed to perform spells in an efficient and correct manner. That was where she failed. All she could do was create explosions. This was what she dreaded. Her failure was her curse.

When she first arrived at the school, she believed she could fix her failure, yet after all this time she still had arrived no closer to a solution to her ailment.

Then as if the very universe had decided to help her, a spectral hand formed in the sky, slender and ghostly it filled the entire night sky. It moved closer, shrinking until it could fit through the window and it softly put a finger to her forehead, filling her with a calming warmth, erasing her doubt and worry and filling her with confidence and vigor.

Then as if it had never existed in the first place the hand slowly faded into glittering motes that descended to the earth like soft rain.

Louise did not notice it at the moment, but now she stood almost eight inches taller and her breasts had filled out to a healthy size. This was due to her subconsciously using the power she did not know she had just gained to fulfill her wishes and to erase her insecurities.

Walking away from the window, she felt like she had gained a greater understanding of her life. She could sense and smell things she couldn't before. She could sense the maids in the hallways doing their nightly cleanup jobs. She could sense the grass and the trees on the campus. It would have been overwhelming before this night, but now, she felt like the world was in her hands. She felt like the summoning ritual would be easy. However, a strong sense of tiredness washed over her mentally and physically as if she had just run a long run.

Walking over to her bed, she fell asleep almost instantly when he lay down.

Waking up to the morning sun shining through her windows, she stretched and rolled off of the bed. Standing up and walking over to the bathroom, she striped from her pink underwear and washed off in the magical shower the school provided. Then she brushed her teeth and did her morning ritual of picking her clothes. Trying to put them on, they were oddly small and tight on her, especially around her chest.

Only now she realized she was taller and her chest had filled out to a healthy size.

A smile formed on her face as she finally wouldn't be called things like pettanko or washboard anymore. She couldn't help but hold her chest and feel it to make sure she wasn't dreaming. It was true, she had grown. Cheering loudly in happiness, she did a little set of happy hops from sheer joy.

Then her joy quickly subsided when she realized her clothes were all too small. Quickly going over to her clothes cabinet, she searched through it for anything that might be of her size, and sure enough, she found an outfit that would fit her. It was confusing as to why she had it, but she took it for granted. She was too happy to notice the weird going ons.

The day went by fairly well and for some reason, no one seemed to bother her. Even Kirche, who would usually mess with her just looked at her and walked away, going on with her day. It was as if the universe was there to make her days better.

It was finally time to summon a familiar. She was excited and slightly nervous, but was strangely confident, and to compound the weird feeling that had started to rise in her mind, she was called first to summon, and nobody had called her a zero or messed with her.

She recited her incantation and waved her wand expecting an explosion, but no. There was no explosion.

Instead, a golden shining sphere of light grew larger and larger, sparkling and shining appeared in the courtyard in front of the students and it grew to the size of a small building and then it burst outward in a flash, and then it died down.

After the light died down, sitting patiently in front of Louise with it's head down in defference and respect was a huge dragon. It's scales were of shining gold and it's diamond blue eyes full of knowledge and power. It's golden scales and wings shining in the sun.

Louise felt tired and lightheaded like the night before, but it was to a lesser extent as if she was acclimating to her magic.

A huge smile of relief and joy crossed her lips.

"I DID IT" She yelled in joy.

She no longer was a Zero.

And cut. I hope you enjoyed the prologue.
