Iris's POV

"Tai we're gonna get Agumon back I promise" I reassured him.

Poor guy was worried about his partner and I didn't blame him.

"I know but knowing what Ken is capable of he won't give up Agumon without a fight"

Issac nodded just as Kari, T.K. and Davis arrived.

"Sorry the rain slowed us down" Davis apologized.

Yolei wasn't present but she entered the computer lab a second later looking sad about something.

"What's up Yolei?" Kari asked wondering why she was sad.

"I'm not up to going into the Digital World right now" she admitted.

"If your not going can you do my math homework?" Davis wondered.

Both me and Kari shot Goggle Head a glare while Isaac laughed behind his hand. I approached Yolei and placed a hand on her shoulder. She looked up at me.

"Take it easy"

My remark made Yolei smile a little and Kari got out her digivice and opened the port. All of us made the usual travel through cyberspace and arrived in the Digital World.

"It's good to see the whole gang again!" Tentomon greeted us.

We arrived up on the same landscape we fought with the Meramon on. I looked around the surroundings and growled.

"Easy Iris" Kiba said. She was perched on my right shoulder while Demi was on my left.

"I'll go see if I find anything on Agumon" Tentomon announced.

"Be careful Tentomon" I warned him.

"I will!" the rookie promised before he flew off but not before he told Davis and his partner to stay out of his tree. Once he was out of sight did our group start moving. We walked for maybe twenty minutes or more before finding a Control Spire. This was obviously an area controlled by Ken.

Suddenly the ground shook ahead and a Woodmon surfaced. As expected he wore a Dark Ring. Davis had Veemon armour digivolve into Flamedramon. Flamedramon became engulfed in fire and he body slammed Woodmon into the Control Spire causing it to start cracking. The tower fell over and thankfully it didn't hurt Woodmon. His Dark Ring also got destroyed in the process.

Flamedramon helped remove the Control Spire off of Woodmon and he thanked us. Tai asked where Ken might be and Woodmon pointed east. We thanked him before going eastbound. While walking we received a message from Yolei saying that Agumon was possibly in a place called Rail Town.

On the outskirts of our destination another Control Spire was visible.

"Demi can you fly ahead and see if you can find Agumon?" I asked.

"I'll try I'll hurry back if I find him" he vowed before he flew off my shoulder. We looked around the city searching for any clues but still no sign of Agumon until Demi found us.

"I found Agumon! He's riding a train which is about to come out of that tunnel" the rookie nodded at a train tunnel close by.

Sure enough a train came out and Agumon was on it. Tai shouted for his partner and Agumon was happy to see him. A second later the train stopped and Tai rushed to Agumon. Agumon flung himself into Tai's arms and they both hugged one another.

"We should probably book it before Ken comes looking for him" Issac advised.

"I agree" Tai agreed.

"Well at least we can kick Ken's butt later" Davis finished.

Just as we were about to leave did Ken decided to show up.

"You have something that belongs to me" he sneered at our group.

"Agumon isn't your damn partner asshole!" I roared.

"My name is the Digimon Emperor!" Ken corrected me.

I had enough of his attitude and I was about to give Ken a piece of my mind when Isaac and Kari held me back. Ken chuckled before eying Agumon who stood next to Tai. He then smirked before throwing a Dark Spiral at the rookie. The spiral latched onto Agumon's arm and it wasn't long until the rookie was back under Ken's control.

Then Agumon digivolved to MetalGreymon. Tai shouted out for MetalGreymon to regain his senses but due to him being under Ken's control the ultimate tried to attack him. Thankfully Davis got Tai out of the way. It wasn't long until Ken was on top of MetalGreymon and the ultimate soon took flight using his metal wings.

Somehow I managed to break free of Isaac and Kari and told Kiba to armor digivolve. She reluctantly obeyed and I was quick to get onto her back. Demi was on my shoulder and Kiba stomped off.

"Try and keep up with them if you can" I told my partner.

"I won't make any promises but I will try" Kiba vowed.

I knew what I was doing was risky but I was determined to get MetalGreymon back to normal.
