Chapter 1
Simon smirked as he came down for a late night snack after watch duty. There in the kitchens alone cleaning and stocking and preparing things for the next day was the new girl Lina. Simon remembered when she came from the Kingdom. She had not liked living there with a man pretending to be a king and the way he kept everyone in the dark on what was going on so she packed her things and snuck out one day until Gavin's team found her walking along the road and picked her up and Simon had them bring her to the Sanctuary for debriefing on the Kingdom. She had told him and Negan everything even about the damn Tiger they didn't know about before asking for a job to pull her weight.
Negan of course offered her a spot as a wife because she was gorgeous with her long dark wavy hair and bright blue eyes and toned body but Lina kindly turned that down stating she didn't share very well. Negan had chuckled and told Simon to give her whatever job she wanted and she'd been glad to get back in a kitchen. Apparently she had been a chief before the world went to shit.
Now he found several times a week he came down and kept her company. He didn't like she worked alone at night and he had a feeling there was a reason behind why Gary had her working that shift but she assured him she was fine with it so he never pressed the issue. He just came down and she'd make him a snack and they'd talk as she worked until he got so tired she sent him to rest and Simon knew he had a thing for the new girl. There was something about her that just drew him in.
"Well, how's my favorite chief tonight?" he ask coming into the kitchen. She chuckled as she turned and gave him a smile.
"Good and how are you sir?" she ask and he rolled his eyes as he sat his gun on the counter and took a seat at the bar stool there.
"How many times have I told you to call me Simon?" he ask her and she shrugged.
"Just following orders. I was told by my boss that we are to address Negan and the Saviors with respect." She said putting the plates away she had finished drying.
"Well I'm Gary's boss and if he has a problem with it you send him to me. I'm telling you to call me Simon Sweetheart and that trumps anything that prick says." he said and she nodded as she handed him a warmed up plate from dinner and some lemonade she made fresh from the lemons they grew in the back fields.
"If you say so Simon." She said with a saucy wink before turning back and wrapping up large trays of food for tomorrow. Simon chuckled as he ate and watched her, staring at the way her ass looked in her pants as she walked and he groaned to himself.
"Everything alright on watch?" she ask and he nodded.
"Just peachy sweets. Just the way I like it." He told her and she nodded as she came over and started cleaning the counter tops near him. His eyes instantly drawn to her chest.
The tension between them was noticeable. Lina had been waiting for Simon to make some kind of move as there talks continued on. She was undeniable attracted to him. He wasn't the normal handsome that most people might look for but to her he was and his body was something she had a hard time not staring at. He was strong and she could see his muscle ripple when he was close and it made her mouth water. Plus he was nice to her and didn't treat her like she owed him anything which was a plus as well. She refused to be with anyone that treated her like shit just to be with someone. She'd rather be alone first. He also was strong and even though she could take care of herself she was attracted to the fact she knew he could keep her safe if need be and in the new world that was an important quality now.
When he was finished eating she took his plate and cup and washed them real quick before coming back over and cleaning the spot off he had just been eating on. This put her very closer to him and he took a deep breath of her scent and closed his eyes. She smelled like a women should.
Lina heard him and looked up at him just as he opened his eyes again and they stared at each other for a moment.
"Fuck it." She mumbled before leaning forward and kissing him hard. It didn't take him no time to respond as he stood from the seat and wrapped one hand in her long thick dark brown hair and the other around her waist and helped her up and onto the counter.
They were frenzied after that. She tore at his shirt as he stood between her legs now running his hands up her legs as he helped her out of her shirt and bra. Once his shirt was off as well she ran her nails down his lightly haired chest loving the feel of his muscles twitching at her touch.
"Shit." He hissed as he looked her over before feasting on her breast as she pulled him towards her. God she had been waiting for this for a while now.
They didn't give a shit that they were in the kitchens and anyone could walk in. All either of them cared about was getting to as much skin as they could.
When her hands went to his two belts he pulled off her chest long enough to help her undo his pants before letting them fall to the floor as he reached for hers. She was naked on the counter top before him faster then either of them could comprehend and his mouth watered. God she was stunning.
Spreading her legs he bent down needing to taste her as he ran his tongue over her sucking on her and feasting like a starved man.
Lina was a moaning, groaning mess as he brought her to climax extremely fast. It had been a really long time for her. Standing back up he wiped off his mouth before kissing her again and moaned into her mouth as she ran her hand over his large sex. He was blessed in that area that was for sure.
"Shit baby you gotta stop. I can't, I won't last." He told her pulling her hand off him. Her touch doing things to him he'd never experienced before and he was to far gone to handle that right now.
"God please hurry." She told him leaning up to kissing his neck and suck a dark spot marking him. He groaned as he eased into her. God she was tight and wet and so fucking hot.
"Shit." She hissed as her nails dug into his back. He paused when he was all the way in and kissed her neck.
"You alright baby?" he ask her and she nodded.
"Yeah. You're just really fucking big." She said and he smirked as she nodded to him to move. Pulling out she moaned as she pulled him back towards her hard setting the pace they had the kitchen becoming very loud. They moaned, groaned and grunted as he fucked her against the counter hard and fast. Both racing towards completion.
Lina finished first and it was the first time she'd ever came with a man without having to finish it herself. When it hit her she tensed and moaned and pulled his from him violently as he collapsed on top of her as they both tried to catch there breathes.
"Fucking hell that was good." She said running her nails in his hair. He chuckled as he kissed up her chest before kissing her deeply.
"You're amazing for my ego." He told her and she chuckled.
"I just speak the truth." She said and he opened his mouth to say something when his radio went off.
"Simon." He heard and groaned as he pulled out of her carefully before bending down and unclipping the radio from his pants.
"Yeah boss." He said slightly out of breath. He was sadden to see Lina stand up and dress handing him his clothes as well.
"I need to see you for a moment before you head to bed." Negan said and he huffed as he slide back into his pants.
"On my way." He told him slipping back into his shirt as Lina helped him button it up before kissing him again.
"Duty calls." She said with a wink before walking back over to the sink to grab a rag to clean up after them. He really didn't want to leave her at all but she was right. Duty calls.
Things between them after that were slightly different. Her schedule was still the same and so was his and he still came to see her after his shift unless he was out on an overnight run. But instead of just sitting and talking with her at night as he ate they did other things.
She was worried someone would see them one day and she'd lose her job but she couldn't tell him no and she needed the relief as much as he seemed to. They would play around some nights just pleasuring each other and other nights they'd have the same amazing sex all over the kitchen and she blushed during breakfast when she went down to eat and watched the morning staff working in the same area's she a Simon had defiled the night before.
Simon would catch her eye across the room where he sat with Negan and give her a wink when she would blush but there was no way she wanted it to stop.
She didn't tell anyone not sure if Simon wanted anyone to know and they never discussed it so she assumed he didn't want anyone to know he was sleeping with someone on the kitchen staff and it didn't bother her either way. She knew the world was a lot different now and tomorrow wasn't promised anymore so she'd take what she could get for today.
The first night he invited her to his room was on her one night off and he had arrange the night off as well. She shared a room with another girl on the morning kitchen staff so his room was the only place they could be alone.
It had been an amazing night and morning and they parted ways when he had to head to a meeting with Negan and she went back to her rooms for shower and get ready for her shift that night.
Everything was going good for her at the Sanctuary. Her boss Gary was an ass but other than that she hadn't had any issues and nights with Simon made it that much better.
That was until 2 months after they started their little fling she became sick. So sick she missed two of her shifts and her boss was threating to fire her from the kitchens. Her roommate held her hair as she vomited the breakfast she had brought her on her break and had enough.
"Lina this is crazy. You could have a bad ass stomach bug and you're throwing up everything you eat. You're going to get dehydrated and Gary's getting pissed. So see Doctor Carson." Sarah said and Lina shook her head.
"I can't afford the points Sarah you know that. I'm sure I'll be fine by tonight." She said and crawled back into bed after brushing her teeth. All she wanted to do was sleep. All she could think was it was lucky Simon was on a 3 day run so he hadn't noticed her absence.
Well Sarah was a good friend and she wasn't going to watch her die before her eyes so she ran to their boss and was in the process of arguing/begging him to give Lina the points for her shifts she had missed that Sarah had covered when Simon and Negan walked in for lunch after he returned from his run alittle early.
"Please Gary." Sarah begged and Gary glared at her.
"Get the fuck back to your station Sarah or I'll fire you too." He hissed and Simon cleared his throat causing both Sarah and Gary to turn and their eyes widen.
"Is there a problem here?" Simon ask and Gary shook his head no.
"No sir. Nothing that needs to take up your time. Just some girl not showing up and trying to scam the system." He said and Sarah scoffed in disgust.
"That's a damn lie and you know it. She works harder than anyone one else in the kitchens and the only reason your itching to fire her is because she turned your ass down and you think she'll owe you favors for her job back don't be a asshole." Sarah told him and he glared her down.
"Who are we talking about here?" Negan ask and Gary sighed with his head bowed to Negan.
"Just the new girl on night shift. She supposedly been sick for the last couple shifts she's had and her roommate here is begging me to give her the points she lost. That's all." Gary said in a huff and Simon's heart dropped.
"Lina's been sick?" he ask turning toward Sarah and Negan raised an amused brow.
"Yes sir. She's been really sick for the last few days and she doesn't have enough points to go see Dr. Carson. I was trying to give her the one's I've earned covering her shifts but this asshole won't let me." Sarah said and Simon narrowed his eyes at the man.
"You and I will talk later Gary. You follow me." He hissed pointing to Sarah before turning on his heel and marching out the door towards Lina's room. Sarah opened the door for him and Negan who had followed to see what was going on and Simon saw her lying on the floor and his heart stopped.
"Lina." Sarah gasp in shock but Negan held her back as Simon walked over and sighed when he felt a pulse.
"She's alright." He told the other two as he ran his hands over her face.
"Lina. Hey sweetheart open your eyes." He cooed and Negan chuckled. Looks like he found out who was leaving the hickeys on his best friends neck.
"Simon." She whispered and Simon sighed as he smiled down at her.
"Yeah it's me. What's wrong baby. You've been sick?" he ask and she nodded.
"Yeah but I'll be right as rain soon enough." She whispered and he huffed.
"Naw you need to see the doctor. Can't go scaring me like that." He said and she shook her head.
"Cant I don't have enough points." She told him and he snorted.
"Fuck that I'll take care of it." He said before bending down and picking her up off the floor and carrying her out of the room. Sarah stayed behind not wanting to get in the way as Negan followed Simon down the hall. He didn't ask anything yet but he could see the care Simon had for this woman in his eyes and knew Simon would do anything for her.
When they reached the medic room Dr. Carson raised a brow to Simon carrying in the girl from the kitchens.
"She's been sick. See what's wrong with her and don't ask shit about points. I got it." Simon ordered and Dr. Carson nodded as he shooed them in the hall.
For over 30 minutes Simon paced. He was worried sick and Negan chuckled.
"I can't believe it. After all these years of knowing you before the turn and now I've never seen you fall in love but you've gone and fallen in love haven't you?" Negan ask and Simon flushed red and rolled his eyes as the door opened and the doctor stepped out.
"Well Doc what's the verdict?" Negan ask and Carson sighed.
"She's pregnant and severely dehydrated and exhausted. I've given her some meds to help settle her stomach and started her on vitamins, it won't completely stop her from getting sick but it might help, there's also a tea we have she can buy with points that might help too. They're going to cost a lot of points over the next 9 months we need to figure out who the father is so he can help support her. She wouldn't tell me. By the ultrasound she's only a few weeks." Carson said and Simon fell back into the wall. He was going to have a baby.
Stunned and unable to speak he pushed past the Doctor and went into the room with Lina and shut the door. Negan chuckled.
"He's the father." He told the doctor who nodded as he waited to be let back into his rooms.
When he saw her sitting on the bed looking over the small ultrasound picture Simon had never seen anything more beautiful in his life and hope for their future filled him.
"I guess you know." she said and he nodded.
"I'm so sorry." She told him and he frowned.
"Why are you sorry?" he ask her and she felt a tear fall down her face.
"You didn't ask for this. Now you've got a baby coming with some girl you were having a good time with and I'm sorry." She said and he huffed and walked over towards her.
"Listen to me. You were never just some girl I was having a good time with. I've only been with you since you got here and I'm more than happy about this. Don't for once apologize for something wonderful." Simon told her before kissing her deeply.
"Are you sure? I don't want you to feel like you have to do anything. You've got enough on your plate as it is." She said when they pulled back and he smiled as he brushed her hair back from her face.
"I'm sure sweetheart. Your my girl and I'm going to take good care of you and our little one." He told her placing his large warm hand on her flat stomach. She smiled up at him and his heart skipped a beat. Negan was right. He'd fallen in love with this girl.
"Come on. You're moving in with me and I'll tell Gary you're taking a long leave from work for now. Doctor says you need rest." He said helping her off the table and she gapped at him.
"What. Oh no Simon you don't have to do that. I don't want to invade your private space." She told him and he rolled his eyes at her.
"You're not and I want you with me. Let me take care of you please." He said and she sighed and nodded. She couldn't tell him no.
When they walked out of the room Negan was smirking from where he was still leaning against the wall and Lina blushed.
"So you're going to be a daddy huh?" Negan ask Simon who nodded with a broad smile on his face. Chuckling Negan patted his back.
"Congrats my friend." Negan said and Simon nodded.
"I'm moving Lina in with me and she's not going back to work for a while. I'll deal with Gary later." Simon told Negan who nodded.
"I figured as much." Negan said approving as Simon led Lina up towards his room. He'd have her roommate pack all her things and bring them up later. Right now he wanted her to rest and let the medication Dr. Carson gave her kick in.
When Simon left her asleep in his room he made a stop by her old room to tell her roommate what happened and to pack her things and bring them to her in his rooms. Her friend nodded grateful that Lina wasn't sick with anything bad.
Then he made a stop at the kitchens to inform Gary that Lina would be taking leave for now.
"She's pregnant and Dr. Carson says she needs rest." He told them man who grunted.
"So she was sleeping with someone. I always wondered. Whose life did the bitch ruin by getting knocked up." He said and Simon slammed him into the wall by his throat.
"By me. And if I hear you even say her name from your fucking mouth one more time ill cut out your tongue." He hissed and the man nodded, shaking with fear as Simon shoved him again before stalking from the room.
When he returned he opened the door to his bed room and chuckled. She was still fast asleep, snoring lightly and hugging his pillow tightly. Hearing a light knock at his door he opened it to see her roommate standing there nervous with a small duffle bag full of Lina's things and some pillows and blankets and a sword. How had he not seen that before?
"This is all hers sir. If I missed anything then just let me know but I think I got it all. Can you tell her to keep me posted on how she is? I want to help if she needs anything." Her friend said as Simon took her things.
"I will and just know that if you'd like to visit your more than welcome if Lina's wants. She might enjoy the company when I'm not here. And if Gary gives you any problems you come to me." He told her and she nodded and slipped off. Simon took the stuff to his room and sat if on the desk as she started to stir.
"Hey beautiful." He said walking over and bending down to kiss her forehead. She smiled up at him.
"Hey yourself." She said as she sat up.
"Your roommate brought your things up. How come I've never seen this sword before?" he ask point to the small katana and she chuckled.
"Well, I don't have much need for it in the kitchens." She said and he chuckled.
"Do you know how you use it?" he ask her and she nodded.
"I wasn't at the Kingdom forever you know. I was alone for a long time before they found me then I came here." She said and he nodded as he hummed. She was a bad ass. That was sexy.
"Think you can eat?" he ask her and she shrugged.
"I can try but I make no promises. It hasn't worked much keeping things down the last few days." She said and he nodded.
"You should have told me you were sick." He told her and she shrugged.
"I would have eventually when you returned. I was only a little queasy the last time I saw you. But I didn't want to bother you." She said and he rolled his eyes and he helped her up and lead her into this sitting room. He had brought there dinner to his room that night so she wouldn't have to leave.
"You're not a bother and I expect from now on you to tell me these things. I can't take care of you right if you don't tell me. This is new for me too." He said and she nodded sitting on the couch next to him.
"You didn't have kids before the world went to shit?" she said nibbling on a roll from you plate.
"No. Never, You?" he ask and she shook her head.
"Nope. I only ever had one boyfriend before all this and he cheated on me about 6 months before the world went to shit, I kicked him in the nuts and dropped him. He never wanted kids." She said and he nodded with a chuckle at his feisty women. He didn't know much about her before all this other than she was a chef. But no one was the same as they were before so all that really matter to him was who she was now and she was his.
They made small talk as she finished off the roll and half the mash potatoes before she pushed the plate away.
"I can't. I can already feel my stomach rolling." She said and he nodded. He finished off the rest and tossed the trays outside for the cleaning crew to take.
"How about a shower, then I'll make some of this tea Dr. Carson says might help your stomach." He said titling the box of ginger tea out for her to see, she nodded and stood. Smirking back at him as he wasn't following her.
"You're going to join me right?" she ask and a smile spread on his face as he nodded.
They had a very enjoyable shower and Simon carefully lifted her into his strong arms and fucked her against the shower wall. Well, made love to her was more the word as he was very gentle with her and Lina felt very loved.
When she went to bed that night after reluctantly drinking the nasty tea she sighed as his arms came around her and pulled her against his body as they slept. This might not end up being the worst thing that could have happened. She was in love with his man, she knew that and now they were having a baby. Slipping to sleep with a smile on her face she relaxed and just decided to go with whatever was going to happen.
The next morning she walked down to the common eating area with Simon as instead of sitting in her normal seat with the other workers he pulled her to sit over with him and Negan. This made a huge statement. Everyone was looking at her and she sat in her seat wide eyed and blushed when Simon kissed the top of her head, nodded to Negan who was chuckling and went to get them breakfast. Lina palmed her face as the whisperes started and she knew the talking was starting up.
"I should have stayed in bed." She groaned and Negan chuckled more, pushing some orange juice over towards her. She smiled at him gratefully and drank it.
"It's to be expected doll. No one's ever sat with us at this table. No even my wives. And Simon has never shown any compassion towards any female here ever." He said and she chuckled as she watched Simon pick out a few food items in the line. She saw her old roommate serving food and she gave her a wave that was returned. She felt eyes on her and turned in her seat and a shiver ran down her spine. Her boss Gary was giving her the worst glare she'd ever seen. When Negan saw her shiver he glanced over and saw the look on Gary's face before it disappeared as Gary saw Negan looking.
Simon sat down just then and handed her, her plate as Negan nodded towards Gary.
"Might want to keep an eye on that one. I don't like the glare he was giving your girl." Negan said and Simon glanced over at the man who was leaving the room.
"I wouldn't worry too much. He's just pissed. He never liked me after I turned him down when I first got here." She whispered sitting her hand on Simon's leg to stop him from following Gary out.
"Still if he says or does anything to you, you tell one of us immediately." Simon told her and she nodded and sighed when Simon handed her more tea.
"Not a fan of tea?" Negan chuckled and she glared at the cup.
"Not really. I was more of a hot chocolate kind a person. This shit is nasty as fuck." She said sipping it and grimaced. They both laughed as they watch her drink it quickly just to get it over with.
"Doc said it would help right." Negan said and Lina shrugged.
"That's what he said. Didn't help this morning so I'm giving it a few more days and if it doesn't help by then, then fuck this shit." She said and they just laughed. Negan found his friend's girl amusing.
A few weeks went by and Lina was bored out of her mind. Simon would not let her work at all. Flat out said no. He wasn't taking the chance something could happen to her and he didn't trust Gary to treat her right. Her sickness came and went and she had to admit the tea helped some so she still suffered through it. She was glad she could at least keep some stuff down and it made Simon feel better as well. He took her to see Dr. Carson once a week and was at every appointment with questions of his own. He was taking this father thing serious and with gusto and it warmed her heart to see him so excited which is one of the reason she didn't argue too much about not working. But she was bored and she couldn't stay in this apartment for 9 months. She would kill someone.
"What's wrong?" Simon ask her when he returned that day from his duties. Negan had changed his watch times so he could be with her at night. He saw her sitting on the window seat frowning.
"I'm going to kill someone just for something to do if I stay cooped up in here any longer Simon." She told him and he chuckled.
"I'd pay good money to see that." He told her and she rolled her eyes.
"Seriously Simon I know you want me safe and I am and I agree being in the kitchens might now be the best for me right now but I need something to do. I'm no one of Negan's wives happy to just sit on my ass all day I need to stay busy or I will start to go nuts and then you'll really be tired of me." She told him and he nodded thinking what she could do that would make her still feel helpful and not bored but safe.
"You could maybe do rounds with me, Negan or Arat. I wouldn't trust anyone else. You need to take your sword with you if you leave this room alone. I'm not trying to be controlling I just want you safe even within the walls there are still people that could be dangerous." He told her and she nodded. She understood that but she was glad he was at least willing to compromise.
She started doing daily rounds which meant walking the fences to check for any weak spots, or billed up of walkers that need to be taken care of before they become a problem. She liked doing something like this again. She felt the comfortable weight of of Katana on her back as she walked the fence with Arat. She had started off walking them with Simon but Negan needed something so he called Arat over to take his place.
Lina liked Arat. She was quiet but not rude. She was strong and when she did make comments on something Lina laughed hard. She was very funny.
"What's his problem?" Arat ask and Lina turned where she had stabbed a walker though the fence that was pushing on a weak spot the engineers were working on. She turned at Arat's question and saw Gary standing on the corner of the kitchen smoking and eyeing them with a glare.
"That's my boss Gary. Well, old boss I guess since at the moment I'm not working in the Kitchens anymore. He never liked me much cause I turned his perverted ass down and gave me the shit jobs after that. When he found out I was pregnant with Simon's baby he wasn't happy. He's been glaring at me since when Simon and Negan are not around. Negan caught him once so he's more careful now." Lina said as she and Arat continued on their walk.
"Does Simon know?" Arat ask her and she nodded.
"Yeah he knows about the first glare cause Negan told him. I haven't told him about the continued glares. He's already busy enough and worried enough and Gary's just an ass. I don't think he'd be stupid enough to actually try something." She told her and Arat nodded looking back over her shoulder to see the man was gone. She didn't like the look of him either.
A few weeks went by and Lina was starting to show. Not a lot just a little and Simon took time each day feeling her stomach. He was waiting to be able to feel the baby move but so far it hadn't happen yet but Lina smiled each time he laid his big hand on her stomach to try.
"You think your something special now don't you?" she heard and turned to see Gary standing in the door of the kitchen glaring at her. She had just left lunch and was heading out to meet Arat to walk the fences. Sighing Lina rolled her eyes.
"Really Gary what is your problem. You have hated me since I started here and I haven't done anything to you." She said and he sneered at her.
"Your just an uppity bitch that thinks if you spread your legs for the right man in charge you can get whatever you want." He hissed and she sighed.
"What's going on here?" they heard and turned to see Negan standing there with his famed bat giving Gary a glare.
"Nothing sir. Gary was just running his mouth. I'm headed out to meet Arat." Lina told him and he nodded walking over towards them.
"I think Gary if you want to be allowed to stay here you will not run your mouth to Simon's girl anymore." He told he man who gritted his teeth but nodded with a bow and left back to the kitchens.
"He's going to be a problem." Negan said leading Lina outside.
"Maybe. I just don't know why he hates me so much." Lina commented and Negan chuckled.
"You're incredible sexy women who dismissed him at once and now are having a baby with my right hand man. He's but hurt I'm sure and not taking it well." Negan said and Lina chuckled.
"I really think he's just all talk." She said and Negan hummed. He hopped that was the case.
However, Lina was proved wrong a few weeks later. She was walking the fence with Arat when they came across several walkers on the back side of the fence. Someone had cut a whole in the fence.
"Shit." Arat said grabbing her radio.
"Walkers on the back side. Someone cut the fence." She radioed as she started shooting the walkers with her silenced gun. Lina took off her sword and started helping, chopping off the heads of any walkers that got to close to her and Arat. She could see Simon and Negan leading a group of Saviors towards them as she and Arat kept the walkers from getting towards their home.
At one time she and Arat got separated from the group of men that were fighting their way towards them before she heard Arat grunt in paid. Lina turned and gasp.
Gary was standing there having knocked Arat down and put a knife to Lina's neck.
"Your man's a little busy bitch. Don't think he'll be able to get over here in time." He said and Lina heard Simon yelling her name followed by a lot of guy shots. She knew Gary had let the walkers in as a distraction.
"What do you want." Lina ask and he chuckled darkly as he walked closed and pressed the knife to her neck. Arat woke up then but Lina waved her hand at her to not move just yet as Gary turned her around so she could watch Simon, Negan and the Saviors try and fight their way towards them but the walkers just kept coming in the fence and blocking there path.
"I don't like being turned down and then having you whore yourself for a better spot then me. You and your fucking brat at going to die for that." He hissed and Lina couldn't tell you what happened after that. Just as Simon and Negan reached her and they got the fence closed Arat gapped as Lina growled and slammed her head back into Gary's face causing him to yell out in pain. She then spun around and her sword flew through the air and Gary's head rolled off his shoulders blood spraying both Arat and Lina as he bastard died quickly.
"That was bad fucking ass right there." Lina heard Negan say as Simon's face came into her view where she was staring Gary's body down. Tilting her head to look at Simon he glaced her over.
"Sweetheart are you ok?" he ask her and she nodded.
"He threatened out baby. I just kind a snapped." She told him and he chuckled as he kissed her forehead and used his rag to wipe the blood from her face and neck to check and make sure he hadn't cut her. There was a little small cut on her neck but nothing pressing.
"Baby you're a mama bear for sure and I dare anyone to try and harm our child with you there." He said and she could hear the amusement in his voice. He wasn't upset with her and she knew what she did was right.
There was nothing scarier them a mama bear that was for sure.
After that the rest of her pregnancy was uneventful. When she got to the last month Simon ask her to stop walking the fences and she agreed. She was too damn big to even want to move at least in her eyes. Simon loved the changes to her body and showed her almost every chance he could.
Negan found the whole experience funny. He even liked feeling the baby move. The day Simon could finally feel it he dragged her all the way to Negan's office in excitement and made his friend feel too. Both men in complete awe. Lina just rolled her eyes with a smile. These two men fell over themselves to make sure she had everything they needed for this baby. Simon had gone on many runs and brought back everything baby possible and Negan was already calling himself uncle Negan and offering up his wives to help her watch the baby when its born.
Lina had taken over the kitchens after she beheaded Gary but she did it mostly from Simon's room and via her friend who was very cable of keeping things running while Lina was growing a baby. Negan's words not hers.
Then day her water broke she was in Negan's office with him and Simon going over inventory for the kitchens when she gasp and they both looked at her funny.
"My water just broke." She said and Negan's eyes went so wide Lina actually laughed.
"Holy fuck." Negan said as Simon stood and lifted Lina into his arms and ran with her to Dr. Carson's rooms with Negan behind them. Negan went and grabbed her friend from the kitchens who had been a big help getting everything ready for the baby and wanted to be there when their baby was born. Negan waited with her in the hall as they listened to Lina screaming inside the room and Negan winced each time.
Finally after what felt like hours they heard the screaming stop and they waited before hearing the loud piercing cry of a baby and Negan sighed in relief.
Simon opened the door and came out a few moments later with the biggest smile on his face and showed them his son.
"I have a son." He said with tears in his eyes and Negan and Sarah looked at the baby in awe. Negan had never seen anything more beautiful in his life, made him want to knock up one of his wives.
"How's Lina?" Negan ask him and he nodded.
"Great. Tired but good." He said and Negan nodded.
"What's his name." Sarah ask Simon
"Wyatt after Lina's father." Simon said and they nodded.
After that Lina and Simon got married. Simon was so in love with his family that nothing in the shitty world could take that from him. He did whatever he could to keep them safe and happy. Lina went back to the kitchens and it ran smoothly under her watch. Simon and Negan could be seen carrying Wyatt around the Sanctuary and Lina wasn't surprised when Negan told them one of his wives was pregnant. They had got the bug when they saw Negan with Wyatt and were ready to have kids with him.
Lina smiled at Simon as he fed their son his bottle with pride in his eyes as she brought him over breakfast and kissed the top of his head. She loved him so much and Simon kissed her lips as she sat down. She was everything to him and he wouldn't change his life now for anything in the world.
