Iris's POV

I did end up losing sight of Ken and MetalGreymon but thanks to an email from Izzy I was going in the right direction.

Iris? You okay?

Matt was worried and he was with the others by now.

Yeah I'm fine I promise I won't do anything irrational I promised my beloved through the mate bond.

Alright we'll see you soon we found a Digi Egg with the Crest of Friendship I tried lifting it but it wouldn't budge

I snorted at that remark.

"Hey Iris there's a Control Spire ahead!" Demi announced getting my attention.

I told Kiba to go to the Spire and she did. Once in front of it she opened her mouth unleashing her Emerald Flame attack. The spire cracked and fell over.

"Good work sis!" Demi praised his twin before he flew off of my shoulder and he digivolved all the way to his ultimate form. "At least I'm at the same level as MetalGreymon now"

"You still look like our former master" Kiba stated. "Only you have a deeper voice"

"You have some nerve destroying my Control Spire!" Ken shouted. He had arrived with MetalGreymon.

"You have some nerve to enslave MetalGreymon!" I yelled back.

Ken growled for a second before suddenly laughing. After a few minutes the Digimon Emperor sighed before looking back at me.

"I really do admire your spirit Iris" Ken said. "It's a shame we couldn't join forces"

Ken then had MetalGreymon attack with his Giga Blaster. The missile landed right in front of Kiba and the impact made her fall over. I fell off of her back and when I looked to make sure she was okay my partner glowed gold before reverting to her rookie form. MetalGreymon was about to attack again when Demi used his Crimson Lighting to stop the ultimate from doing so.

MetalGreymon roared at Demi before easily swatting the vampire out of the way.

"Now that your comrades are down Princess it's time I destroyed you" Ken sneered.

"Over my dead body!" yelled Matt.

"Hey babe" I greeted my mate when he and Garurumon landed next to me.

"I'm damn sore" Kiba complained as she flew over to me. "Mind if I sit this one out?"

I shot my partner a grin before taking Matt's hand and he pulled me onto Garurumon. I sat behind him and wrapped my arms around the blonde's waist. The others arrived and Tai stared at his partner.

"I'll stay back for now unless I'm needed" Demi informed us.

He floated in the air next to Garurumon.

"Hang on Iris" Matt warned me before Garurumon charged forward. MetalGreymon was commanded to stomp on us but the wolf digimon avoided being crushed. The champion was hesitant to attack his friend but we didn't have a choice.

Cody, Kari, and Isaac had their digimon armor digivolve to Digmon, Nefertimon, and Wyvernmon. Digmon attacked first using his Gold Rush but MetalGreymon sidestepped out of the way. Nefertimon attacked next using her Rosetta Stone while Wyvernmon managed to land on MetalGreymon's arm and sank his teeth into the Dark Spiral.

Like with Demi the ultimate hit Isaac's partner away from him. Halsemon almost tried to break the Dark Spiral with his Tempest Wing but his attack accidentally hit MetalGreymon in the chest. Halsemon apologized to Tai just as Garurumon jumped into air and had his own teeth on the Dark Spiral

The ultimate moved making the champion jump off and once on the ground did Garurumon open his mouth releasing his Howling Blaster. The attack misfired and hit MetalGreymon in the face.

"MetalGreymon I'm sorry!" my mate shouted.

Garurumon then jumped in the air to avoided being seriously hurt.

"Flamedramon do you think you can try and get the Dark Spiral off without hurting MetalGreymon?" Davis asked his partner.

"I'm not sure but I can try" Flamedramon answered. But Flamedramon suddenly pushed Davis out of the way because MetalGreymon used his one of his metal claws to attack Davis. Thankfully Flamedramon was alright but he reverted to Veemon. Davis immediately hurried to his partner to make sure he was alright. Garurumon again leapt onto MetalGreymon's arm trying to bite the Dark Spiral off.

But once again the wolf digimon had to jump off from his friend.

Davis swore before picking Veemon up and together they avoided being flattened from MetalGreymon's foot.

"That's it! I've had enough standing around! You almost hurt my pal Ken!" Davis roared. Suddenly Davis's digivice glowed blue and a second later the Digiegg of Friendship appeared. Davis took it and he looked to Veemon.

"Ready buddy?"

"Let's do it" Veemon replied with enthusiasm.

"Digi Armor Energize!" Davis yelled.

Veemon and the Digi Egg of Friendship began to spin around starting a new digivolution. Blue electric rings surrounded the rookie as the forms of Gabumon, Garurumon, WereGarurumon, and MetalGarurumon appeared behind Veemon. It wasn't long until Veemon was fully digivolved into Raidramon.

"Wow your nice!" Davis said to Raidramon.

Raidramon chuckled before allowing Davis to get onto his back.

"Yo this is a team effort" I told Matt and Davis.

"Sounds like a plan to me" Davis agreed.

Garurumon again unleashed his Howling Blaster and MetalGreymon missed being hit. That was the distraction David needed and Raidramon let out his Blue Thunder attack. The electric attack hit the Dark Spiral and it finally destroyed it.

"What the hell?!" Ken roared not believing his eyes.

MetalGreymon glowed gold and began to shrink while Ken managed to get away thanks to an Airdramon. Tai rushed over to Agumon and hugged him.

Later.

"Son of a!"

Matt wore a smirk when he won our chess match. Kiba and her brother were out cold due to eating more than they should have from dinner.

"What else are you good at?" I demanded from my mate.

We were in my room and currently dressed in our pajamas.

"Not telling" the blonde teased with a smirk.

I rolled my eyes and the next thing I knew I was pinned beneath Matt. Matt then placed his lips onto the left side of my neck and began to plant kisses. I sighed in pleasure and let the blonde continue. Soon his tongue replaced his lips and that made my body jump.

"Try not to jump again" Matt suggested before I felt him pull my pajama shorts up a little. He stopped moving them at my thighs and Matt licked my inner right thigh first. I fisted the mattress and again sighed in delight. Thankfully that was all my mate did and after he was finished my pajama shorts were back where they normally rested.

Having enough I was quick to have my mate beneath me and I claimed his lips into mine. Matt placed his hands onto my back as our kiss became a bit more heated. Our tongues danced for a few minutes before I eventually pulled away.

"Wow" was all the blonde could say.

My boyfriend was blushing hard and I chuckled.

"Speechless eh?"

"Pretty much when I get a kiss like that" Matt confessed.

I chuckled before I gave him another kiss and this time I let my mate be in charge of it.
