3 months have passed since Iris and Isaac's adventure in the Digimon world ended. Both Iris and Isaac return to the Digimon World to help free it of the Digimon Emperor. Iris's destiny to come the Digimon Queen fast approaches and she will do everything in her power to make that destiny to life, whatever the costs. Her relationship with Matt will also become something more.

10. The Dark Ocean

This chapter is more revolved around Isaac and Kari.

Iris's POV

I was having another dream because I recognized the same surroundings when I dreamt of BlackWarGreymon.

"Your here again"

I turned to see the mega level digimon looking at me. His voice was calm and I felt he was glad to see me.

"I was hoping I would see you again" I confessed to my second partner.

I approached the virus digimon and when I stopped I placed both of my hands into one of his metal claws.

"I like it when you visit me" BlackWarGreymon admitted. "It eases the darkness"

"I'm sorry I can't be with you right now" I apologized to the mega. "Trust me I want you by my side so your darkness can go away from your thoughts"

BlackWarGreymon chuckled and I released my hands from his. He bent down so he was at my level and the two of us looked at one another for a moment before the mega carefully used one of his claws to draw me closer to him. His other clawed hand wrapped itself around my body and I realized he was embracing me.

My arms went around his neck and the two of us remained like this a good while.

Kari's POV

"Hey Kari"

I turned to see T.K. and Davis approaching me.

"Hey you two" I greeted them tiredly.

"Didn't sleep well huh?" Davis asked.

I shook my head to confirm his question.

"Maybe Isaac should visit you later" T.K. suggested.

I blushed at the mention of my boyfriend but perhaps my mate could help ease my nightmares away. We all then hurried inside school so we wouldn't be late. The last thing I wanted to do was scrape gum. First period was typical math and it was pretty boring. I tried to concentrate but the nightmares kept distracting me.

Suddenly the classroom began to change and I looked around. Everything around me was foggy and when I looked down I saw my shoes were in water.

T.K.'s POV

Kari looked like she was about to pass out and she almost did when one of our classmates caught her. The teacher asked Kari if she wanted to go see the nurse and Isaac's mate nodded before she stood up.

Isaac's POV

Something was definitely wrong with Kari. Even though I wasn't bonded to her yet I knew when my mate was in trouble. Lately my girlfriend had been having nightmares and it worried me. I left T.K's apartment and hurried in the direction of the middle school. Wizardmon followed me but he made sure to do his disappearing act when needed.

I breathed a sigh of relief when I saw Kari sitting outside of the school on a bench.

"Issac" Kari said in relief as I stopped in front of her.

She stood up and feeling her stress I hugged her.

"I'm scared Issac I keep having these dreams where I'm at the beach in another dimension"

I kissed her forehead hoping it would help calm her down.

"I think you should leave school for the day" I suggested. "I'll take you home"

"Okay" my girlfriend agreed.

I let her go so she could go see the nurse.

"Hey Issac"

Gatomon jumped down from a nearby tree.

"You here because of Kari?"

"Yeah I'm very worried about her" I answered. "Then again I'm sure you are too"

Gatomon nodded.

"She's lucky to have you" the Champion added.

Kari came out of the school with her backpack on. Gatomon climbed into her arms and once I made sure the street was clear did my mate and I cross it.

"What the hell?!" I exclaimed when Kari suddenly began to change. Gatomon fell out her partner's grasp now alarmed.

"What's going on?" Wizardmon demanded appearing beside me.

"Something bad" I growled as my eyes never left Kari. Her body was beginning to become transparent until she disappeared completely. Her backpack fell onto the sidewalk.

Kari's POV

"What the?"

I suddenly realized I wasn't with Issac anymore. I saw I was at the beach from my dreams. Ahead a lighthouse was emitting a dark light. I decided to walk around to see if I could find anyone to help me out.

For about fifteen minutes I ventured the area with no signs of life.

Isaac's POV

Gatomon, Wizardmon, and I walked beside the bay area by the middle school. I had Kari's backpack in my arms.

"This doesn't make any sense" Wizardmon said. "How could Kari just disappear?"

"No idea" I replied.

Kari's POV

I had been walking around for who knows how long and found nothing. I was now in a tunnel calling out to see if anyone or anything was in here. I then jumped when I heard moaning and ahead were red eyes. Whatever these creatures were they sounded as though they were in pain.

"Can you help us?" one of the creatures ask.

"I'm not sure are you guys digimon?" I asked.

"We're called Scubamon" another creature replied. "We've been in here for sometime"

I frowned when I saw the Dark Spirals on their arms.

"We used all of our strength to bring you here" one of the Scubamon explained. "Can you help us?"

"I'll try"

I approached the nearest Scubamon and bent down to its level. I then tried to remove the spiral and as I did under the dark device it began to glow pink. However the tunnel began to shake and this alarmed the Scubamon. We all hurried out of the tunnel and the moment we did an Airdramon flew above.

"That thing serves the person who put the Dark Spirals on us" a Scubamon explained.

The Airadramon found us again and it unleashed a deadly looking smoke from its mouth. The Scubamon and I hurried to take cover.

Isaac's POV

Gatomon, Wizardmon, and I continued to search for Kari. Suddenly a pink glow appeared and I felt my mate's presence. I unwillingly jumped into the air followed by Gatomon and Wizardmon. The next thing I knew the three of us landed hard on something.

"Isaac! Gatkmon!"

Down below was my girlfriend and I was relieved to see she was alright. However a roaring got my attention and I swore seeing an Airdramon. It was under the control of a Dark Ring. I turned to Wizardmon.

"Ready buddy?"

"Let's do it" my partner agreed.

Wizardmon then armor digivolved to Wvyernmon. I got onto Wvyernmon's back and soon we were in the air. Wyvernmon dodged Airdramon and he turned around as our opponent unleashed his Spinning Needle. Again my partner maneuvered around the attacks and they hit the beach not far from where Kari was.

"Flames of Fate!"

My partner's flame attack hit Airdramon on the back which annoyed it. It wasn't long until the Champion digimon was our on tail.

"Issac!" Gatomon shouted.

I had Wvyernmon dive and Gatomon was quick to jump into my lap.

"There's a Control Spire in the lighthouse once it's destroyed I can digivolve" the cat digimon informed me

"Alright on it!" Wvyernmon replied before turning his body towards the lighthouse.

Once close enough my partner unleashed another round of his Flames of Fate. The attack did the trick and it wasn't long until the damn tower was falling apart. A beam of pink light emerged and Gatomon jumped from my lap into it.

A few minutes later Angewomon appeared. Our attention went to Aidramon and Wvyernmon advised I hold on. I hung onto his neck spikes as he flew at a fast rate of speed before he body slammed into Airdramon. This confused the champion and my partner flew away as Angewomon released her Heavens Charm.

Her attack hit Airdramon right on the mark and the Champion was destroyed.

Kari's POV

Angewomon hovered above the water and I begged for her to help the Scubamon. She nodded before holding her hand out and a beam of pink light shot of it. The Scubamon's Dark Spirals were destroyed and most of them whooped in glee before rushing over to thank me. However I noticed something odd was happening to the Scubamon who didn't rush over to me in fact they grew larger.

Suddenly a black wolf appeared in front of me and Isaac's fangs were deep into one of the transformed Scubamon's arms. The creature managed to free itself from Isaac and it joined it's other transformed companions.

"What do you want?" I demanded while Isaac snarled some more.

Angewomon shot a pink blast telling the creatures to stay away. The creatures then moved away and soon they disappeared into the misty ocean. Issac turned to me and he reverted to his human form. My boyfriend hugged me and I returned the favor.

"Ready to get out of here?"

"Yeah" I answered. "Thanks for coming for me"

Issac chuckled and he kissed my forehead. Wvyernmon wolf whistled nearby and Angewomon chuckled lightly.

Later.

Iris's POV

"So these dreams you've been having are of your new partner?" Matt asked as I finished explaining about BlackWarGreymon to him.

We were in his room about to watch "The Hunger Games" on my Kindle. Demi and Kiba were outside on the balcony enjoying some fresh air.

"Yeah but he's not going to be born like a regular digimon, his birth will be from Control Spires"

"Still Iris please be careful when he does come to life"

I shot my mate an annoyed look and Matt smirked before deciding to give me a light kiss before we began to watch the movie. By the end of the Reaping scene my boyfriend was definitely interested.

"You know if you were in the Hunger Games which weapon would you use?" he asked when the movie was paused.

"I have no clue" I answered honestly.

"You would look cute with a bow and arrow" the blonde teased.

I snorted before I started the movie back up.
