Iris's POV

I was glad I wasn't with the gang when they got trapped underwater. The group had found the Digi Egg of Reliability and thanks to Cody overcoming his self-doubt he gained a new Digi Egg. Armadillomon could now armor digivolve to Submarimon. The others were able to escape thanks to Whamon. I was glad the whale digimon was back seeing him get deleted four years ago sucked.

"Ow" I mumbled when our group arrived back in the computer lab. We had just returned from the Digital World taking down more Control Spires.

It was early summer so all of us were wearing the right clothing meant for hot weather. I wore a silver tank top with black trimming along with dark blue jeans and regular tennis shoes. Issac wore a turquoise t-shirt with khaki shorts and matching tennis shoes.

"Time for a snack!" DemiVeemon announced.

"Your always hungry!" Demi scolded the In-Training digimon.

"Traveling back and forth from the Digital World can work up an appetite" DemiVeemon countered.

"Iris has a big stomach too" Issac added.

A smack later my cousin rubbed the welt on his head where I hit him. I looked to a nearby calendar and I froze when I realized what date it was.

"Iris what's up? You look tense"

"Sorry it's just tomorrow is the anniversary when Myotismon was defeated"

"Crap I forgot" Issac growled. My cousin came to my side and placed a comforting hand onto my shoulder. "It's a complicated story and Iris tries not to remember it"

"No it's okay" I reassured my brother before explaining to Cody, Yolei, Davis, and their digimon what I endured.

"Damn I'm sorry you went through that Iris" Davis apologized.

"It's in the past my friend plus the look on Myotismon's face when Kiba digivolved to LadyMyotismon was epic"

That had indeed been a funny moment and all of us were soon laughing. We left the school and stopped to chill out in a nearby park. Everyone talked about the past and Isaac brought up how freaked out he and I been when we saw Kuwagamon in our world.

"We got company" Davis said getting our attention.

Sure enough the original Digi Destined walked over to us. Mimi was even here to celebrate the anniversary. Matt kissed my forehead and this ensued a chorus of "Awws" from Sora, Mimi, Yolei, and Kari. Issac wolf whistled while Wizardmon chuckled.

We all decided to sit under a tree and I sat next to Matt. We talked some more of the past including the Dark Masters.

"I was pissed when Piedmon turned everyone into key chains" I growled.

"Oh hell no that wasn't fun at all" Isaac agreed.

"Hey at least you kept us safe Iris" Kari pointed out.

This was true when Piedmon had us cornered I made sure T.K. and Kari were safe. However the damn clown destroyed the rope we had been using and we would have died had Demi and Angemon not digivolved.

We all hung out for a few more hours before we parted ways. Matt invited T.K. over to the apartment to hang out.

"I haven't been here in awhile" T.K. confessed after taking his shoes off. "It's different too"

"Iris keeps the place spotless" Matt bragged from his chair at the dining room table.

"I have to contribute something" I scolded the blonde. "Besides you now darn well I don't like messy places mate"

My stomach decided to growl and Matt smirked before standing up.

"I'm starving want something to eat? And don't expect anything fancy I can't cook"

"Either I cook or we have take out the last time you cooked babe you almost burned the damn apartment down, I also make sure the fridge is stocked"

"Man Iris you'll make one hell of a wife" T.K. chuckled. "Once you become the Digimon Queen, you'll be ordering Matt around"

"Not much I love your brother kiddo"

Matt chose that moment to kiss my cheek before heading to the fridge. My boyfriend ended up making some kind of spicy dish and by the time T.K. and I finished it our mouths were on fire. I just finished downing a glass of water while Matt was laughing.

"Really babe? My mouth is on fire!" I reprimanded Matt.

The door to the apartment opened and a few minutes later Mr. Ishida came into the room.

"Hey kids" my future father-in-law greeted us tiredly.

Mr. Ishida sat down next to T.K. while I stood up to get something to eat for him.

"Thanks Iris" the human male thanked me before taking a bite of the sandwhich I just made for him.

"Long day at the t.v. station?" Matt inquired.

"It's always a long day" Mr. Ishida admitted. "Lately we've been dealing with technical difficulties"

"Anything in peculiar stand out?" Kiba questioned next.

"Not really no" Mr. Ishida replied. "It's probably just the usual glitches and some members of my staff are uneasy due to the anniversary of what happened four years ago"

"You can't blame them" I added. "You should take a vacation"

"Maybe" Mr. Ishida responded.

Dream

Again I was in a dream setting however I felt dread. I was alone which sucked even more.

"Hello Nightflower"

Immediately I whirled around to see Myotismon.

"It's been some time since we last seen each other"

"Why can't you just leave me alone you bastard?" I demanded.

The ultimate chuckled darkly.

"You belong to me Iris and I miss my bride"

The next thing Myotismon knew he wore a red handprint on his cheek due to me slapping him.

"Say that again and I'll end you myself" I threatened. "You blew your chance of being with me you asshole"

Reality

I woke up and this alarmed Matt who had been sleeping beside me. Thankfully I didn't wake Demi and Kiba who were fast asleep close by.

"What is it Iris?" Matt asked.

"It was him again" I replied.

Matt immediately pulled me closer to him and I clung to his shirt. My mate kissed my forehead and eventually we went back to sleep. Thankfully I didn't dream anymore of Myotismon and I hoped it stayed that way.

Next Day.

"Hey this is where we first met" T.K. said as we came to the stop at the very spot when I accidentally bumped into Matt and T.K. four years ago.

We had just finished browsing around the mall to pass the time.

"I really should have been watching where I was going bumping into you guys hurt" I complained.

"Do you still have the herb book?" Matt wondered.

"Yep I actually brought it with me"

Up ahead was the same shop where Gotsumon and Pumpkinmon tried on clothes and the two digimon ended up putting some outfits on me along with Matt, T.K., Gabumon, and Kiba.

"I hated that damn pink bow!" Kiba growled.

"Oh that would have been epic to see!" Demi sneered before laughing. My partner shot her twin a glare.

Outside of the t.v. station we regrouped with everyone else and the weather starting turning dark. It looked like it was a typical earlier summer thunderstorm. It was then I felt a strong pulling sensation.

"Yo I'm having a strong desire to go inside" I announced getting everyone's attention. "I can't explain why"

"Alright but we're coming with you" Matt replied and the others nodded in agreement.

As we entered the t.v. station some of the employees looked annoyed. There were probably dealing with more technical difficulties with their equipment again. The pulling sensation stopped upon arriving in the same room when Myotismon found out who I really was.

The next thing I knew darkness claimed me.

Matt's POV

I was quick to catch Iris before she hit her head.

"Sis!" Issac exclaimed.

"Matt is she alright?" Tai demanded.

"She's fine" Wizardmon reassured us. "She's just under some spell at the moment"

"What kind of spell buddy?" Isaac inquired turning to his partner.

"One where another is calling for her" the champion digimon responded. He then looked to me. "You should lay her down"

I nodded and carefully lay Iris on the floor. I hoped whoever was calling her wasn't Myotismon.

Iris's POV

"I really need to quit passing out" I mumbled to myself as I looked around my surroundings.

I recognized the spot where BlackWarGreymon and my fellow Digi Destined would eventually fight. It was also the location of the last Destiny Stone. I heard heavy footsteps and I turned to see my second partner coming out the forest.

I smiled before rushing over to BlackWarGreymon and I threw myself onto him in a hug.

"I'm glad you came" the mega greeted me.

"So you summoned me eh?"

"Yes I did there is something you must know"

BlackWarGreymon then lowered himself so I could get back onto my feet.

"What is it?"

"Your great enemy, you cannot defeat him as you are now"

"I'm aware who you are speaking about"

My second partner was referring to MaloMyotismon.

"This being has strong darkness and cannot be defeated by strength alone, you must return the one wrapped in darkness to his true self, kindness will release the golden radiance, but kindness alone will not prevail the golden radiance is also necessary"

"Alright I'll inform my companions about this" I vowed.

I knew it was time for me and BlackWarGreymon to part once more. Sensing my sadness my partner bent down to my level and he carefully drew me in for a hug.

"We will meet soon Iris"

Matt's POV

Iris groaned before opening her eyes.

"Damn it Iris you scared us!" Isaac protested.

"Sorry" my girlfriend apologized before she sat up.

"Did you meet with whoever called for you?" Wizardmon wondered.

"Yeah"

Iris then explained how her second partner BlackWarGreymon warned her about another enemy. Whom it was Iris didn't say due to her trying to regain her strength.

"So this BlackWarGreymon will be an enemy at first" Davis suggested.

"Yeah he will but darkness won't cloud his thoughts forever" Iris continued. "For the time being we need to take his warning seriously"

We all nodded in agreement at her remark.
