Iris's POV

Okuwamon shrieked at Paildramon before charging. Paildramon maneuvered around Okuwamon's pincers before giving the ultimate a good kick. Demi and Kiba also continued to fight with Okuwamon too.

"Yo we need to fix the problem in the base" I announced getting Ken and Davis's attention. I shot Paildramon, Kiba, and Demi a glance. "Those three can handle Okuwamon"

Ken and Davis nodded before the three of us headed toward the base. The others followed suit behind us. It didn't take long for us to enter the ruins of the base and we all had to avoid the debris around the room.

A few minutes later Davis, Ken, and I found the room where the Crest of Kindness needed to be. Ken didn't hesitate to climb up to where he needed to go and then he put the Crest of Kindness back where it belonged. The reactor's power started to go offline which was a good sign.

"Nice work Ken" I praised the genius.

Ken shot me a grateful smile just as the others regrouped with us. Cody received an email saying things were back to normal which was a lie because the base shook again and some more explosions went off. All of us had to run a few steps to avoid being injured from the debris being caused the constant explosions.

Izzy sent another message saying the warping was getting worse instead of better.

"Hey Ken you know this place is there anything else that might lead us to the problem?" Issac asked.

Ken looked around for a moment before noticing some pipes. The genius said we had to follow the pipes and we did. We walked through the tunnel that would lead where we needed to go until it became blocked with debris. Armadillomon and Hawkmon used their attacks to clear the obstacles away.

After some more walking we found the power source and the closer we got to it I got a bad feeling. I wasn't the only one that felt the evil inside of the room. The room shook again and if something wasn't done fast we were toast.

One of the machines was leaking and we got caught in the blast. We weren't seriously injured but we did get a little banged up.

"Sorry we're late!" Kiba apologized as she, Demi, and Paildramon arrived through a hole in a nearby wall.

Paildramon used his Desperado Blaster along with Kiba and her brother using their Crimson Lighting on the main power source. After it got destroyed a bright light filled the room before fading away. Kiba landed before me and I threw myself into her arms.

"Good work" I praised my partner. "Same goes to you Demi and Paildramon"

"Aww shucks" Paildramon replied.

Later.

Paildramon destroyed the base so it couldn't been used for evil again. Afterwards Ken and Leafmon decided to call it a day but before leaving he told our group to contact him or Sage if we needed help. Now I was back at the apartment by myself since Mr. Ishida wasn't home from work yet and Matt was at band practice.

Kiba and Demi were snoring away while I was just staring into space. My eyes got heavy and it wasn't long until I was fast asleep.

Dream

"Iris" BlackWarGreymon stated as I approached him. "I wasn't sure if I would see you again"

"Same here" I agreed.

I stopped before the mega.

"My birth is coming I can feel it" my second partner continued.

"Yes it is" I agreed.

A tear slid down my face and I wanted to kick myself for feeling like this.

"You cry for me?" the mega inquired.

"Of course I do" I answered. More tears went down my cheeks now. "Your my second partner and your going to suffer with darkness when you are brought to life, it kills me knowing this"

The mega walked over to me and he carefully picked me up. I wrapped my arms around his neck still weeping.

"I have faith in you Iris never forget that"

Reality

I woke up after BlackWarGreymon said those words. I felt my face and it turned out I had been crying while asleep. The next time I saw Arukenimon I was going to teach her a lesson.

Next Day.

"This is Giga House? It's huge!" Davis exclaimed.

Arukenimon sent us an email saying to come to this location. Already I was eager to find that spider bitch and give her a piece of my mind. Demi and Kiba were in their ultimate states again.

"So Arukenimon sent you guys an email too huh?"

We all turned to see Ken and Sage along with their digimon.

"Yes and it's a trap" I informed the mated pair.

"Iris calm down" Issac advised but I couldn't.

I was pissed off and I was ready to find Arukenimon and kick her ass.

"You should relax Iris your cousin is right" Ken agreed. "Anger clouds judgment"

He had a point so I took a few deep breaths and I began to relax. Ken, Cody, and Davis decided to go in first and when things got ugly we would follow. The three boys then headed towards the house and their digimon followed.

"So your Ken's mate?" Yolei wondered looking to Sage.

"Yes I am" Sage confirmed. "I heard you had a crush on him I feel guilty"

"Nah its fine" Yolei reassured Sage with a wave of her hand. "I'm actually talking with Michael"

Isaac wolf whistled and I shot my cousin a glare while Yolei blushed.

"Hey we got company coming!" Isaac suddenly alerted us.

No sooner had he spoken those words did a swarm of Flymon appear. The remaining digimon digivolved and Kiba picked me up into her arms. She took flight and Demi covered for his sister by attacking the Flymon whenever needed.

Snimon joined in and it was time to get into the damn house. Pegasusmon used one of his attacks to shatter a window and we all went inside. It was best we separated and Demi stuck with me and his sister.

"We should be safe here for now" Kiba said after we found a place to hide in a bedroom. Nothing happened for awhile until I saw movement above and stuck in a spider web were Davis, Ken, and Cody. ExVeemon was fighting Digmon and Stingmon. What was worse there was a Dokugumon coming their way!

However the boys didn't need to worry because Kyubimon appeared underneath the web and she carefully used her Dragon Wheel to destroy it. Sage was on the bed and the boys managed to land on top of it safely.
