Iris's POV

"The Digital World is at stake" Azulongmon said.

The sovereign of the eastern region immediately needed to see me along with Gennai. BlackWarGreymon had successfully destroyed two Destiny Stones.

"What is it you'll have me do?" I asked the dragon mega.

Azulongmon answered by sending me an orb that was colored in red, white, green, and blue.

"That sphere contains a bit of power from myself and the other sovereign, by using it some of the Destiny Stones can be sealed"

I nodded understanding what the mega was asking me. I then closed my eyes and focused on the power inside the sphere. I felt the power from the sphere leave and find its way to two Destiny Stones. I didn't open my eyes until my task was completed.

"Two Destiny Stones are sealed" I informed Azulongmon. "However three remain vulnerable and at BlackWarGreymon's mercy"

"You have done what you could Iris now you must be careful, the time for you to become queen is fast approaching and those who wish to prevent this will try and harm you"

"No one will get near her with us around!" Kiba exclaimed.

"Ya!" Demi agreed.

Both twins were in their rookie forms.

"Then I wish you luck Iris the whole Digital World is counting on you"

A Few Days Later.

"So two Destiny Stones are safe?" Davis asked me.

"Yes but I intend to keep the remaining three safe as well" I answered. "BlackWarGreymon maybe my partner but I have to make sure he doesn't cause more damage"

"This must be hard for you" Kari added. "Seeing BlackWarGreymon do this"

I sighed and nodded.

Izzy dropped by before we all went to the Digital World and updated some important stuff to the digivices and D-3 terminals. We now could track BlackWarGreymon's movements and once we arrived in the Digital World we began to track BlackWarGreymon.

All of our digimon digivolved and Kiba carried me into her arms as LadyMyotismon. Ken and Sage joined us and it was a race against time to prevent another Destiny Stone from being destroyed.

"BlackWarGreymon stopped" Yolei announced.

"He's not near another stone yet" I added.

I could feel when my second partner was near a Destiny Stone and now was a good time to hurry and find it. We found the stone in question nestled in a canyon. As my second partner drew closer ExVeemon and Stingmon DNA digivolved to Paildramon. Gatomon and Aquilamon did the same and they became Silphymon. The two DNA ultimates took to the air while Wvyernmon, Kyubimon, Demi, and Kiba stayed behind.

"Here he comes!" Sage shouted.

BlackWarGreymon appeared and Paildramon started things off by using his Desperado Blaster. BlackWarGreymon looked annoyed as he landed. The mega demanded the two ultimates move aside but Paildramon attacked and was currently using his claws against BlackWarGreymon's.

Silphymon joined in on the fighting and unleashed Static Force. The blast hit the mega and I winced when BlackWarGreymon was slammed into a canyon wall. Silphymon tried to use another Static Force but BlackWarGreymon dodged it. What was worse Arukenimon and Mummymon joined in on the fighting too.

Immediately Kyubimon, Wvyernmon, Angemon, and Ankylomon took on those two idiots. But to our horror BlackWarGreymon overpowered Paildramon and Silphymon. Demi attacked using his Crimson Lighting but BlackWarGreymon managed to grab hold of the red whip and threw Demi hard into a nearby wall.

"Don't come any closer" Kiba advised as BlackWarGreymon got near us.

"Move I must destroy the Destiny Stone" the mega growled.

"You have a choice" Kiba continued.

Having enough BlackWarGreymon hissed before coming at Kiba hard. I watched in horror as she was thrown across the canyon and like her brother she hit a wall. Kiba then glowed gold and returned to her rookie form.

"Iris? What are you doing here?" BlackWarGreymon asked surprised to see me protecting the Destiny Stone.

"Doing what I need to do" was my reply.

The mega was definitely a threat to me right now but I refused to let another Destiny Stone be destroyed.

"Move aside Iris I don't want to hurt you" BlackWarGreymon begged.

"You should kill her!" Arukenimon shouted.

"Shut up Spider Bitch!" Issac snapped at the spider ultimate.

"I'll do it!"

"What the?!"

The next thing I knew Mummymon had snuck up behind me and now had me pinned to a canyon wall. The bastard had hold of my throat and was trying to choke me!

BlackWarGreymon's POV

At seeing Iris being choked I snarled and I charged at Mummymon.

"Get your damn hands off of her!"

Iris's POV

BlackWarGreymon used his claws to swipe Mummymon off of me. The ultimate crash landed close by Arukenimon who was unconscious thanks to the other digimon. I then saw BlackWarGreymon enduring his inner darkness and he then raised his claws.

Kiba's POV

I screamed Iris's name at the same time did I feel a large amount of power come from the Destiny Stone.

"Demidevimon warp digivolve to!"

Iris's POV

BlackWarGreymon didn't have the chance to attack because Kiba blocked the attack. My eyes widened when I saw she was Tiamatmon. Using her tail Kiba slapped BlackWarGreymon back like he was a toy.

"You are a worthy opponent" the mega said.

"You say you care for Iris but instead you tried to kill her just now!" Kiba yelled.

The dragon mega then was about to attack but I stopped her. BlackWarGreymon and I looked at one another in silence.

BlackWarGreymon's POV

"It is my inner darkness that controlled my actions" I told Tiamatmon.

"You can control it you stubborn fool" Tiamatmon countered. "You and I both know this, for goodness sake forget the Destiny Stones and join us!"

"I cannot there is one digimon I must fight!" I shouted before charging.

Iris's POV

I know it was stupid but I placed myself in front of Kiba. My hands were holding onto BlackWarGreymon's claws. I smelled blood and some of my fingers were cut due to the sharpness of the mega's claws. As my blood poured onto the ground below I looked into BlackWarGreymon's eyes.

"There is good in you" I said before my body glowed silver.

Whatever was happening it was draining my strength and fast. I had no idea what happened until darkness claimed me.

BlackWarGreymon's POV

I watched as Iris fell and Tiamatmon caught her using her tail. The mega lay her onto the ground before using her snout to nudge her still form.

My attention was then drawn to the Destiny Stone and I felt a seal surrounding it. The only way for the seal to break was by Iris's death.

"This Destiny Stone cannot be touched by you unless you wish to kill our partner" Tiamatmon growled.

Horror by what I had almost done made me back away. Then I took flight and didn't look back.

Matt's POV

Iris was brought back from the Digital World in a weakened state. I refused to leave her side as she slept eventually she woke up and I lost it. Tears poured down my face as I pulled my girlfriend into my arms. I haven't felt this scared since four years ago when I thought I would lose her.

"I'm sorry Matt" the she-wolf apologized weakly. "What I did was stupid"

I claimed her lips to show her I forgave her and how much I loved her.

Iris's POV

While Matt kissed me I managed to grab one of his hands and intertwine mine into it. Before BlackWarGreymon could hurt me I somehow managed to seal two more Destiny Stones. Now only one remained and it was essential it was kept safe. And I would do so without endangering myself again.

Matt eventually broke the kiss.

"I love you" I told my mate. "I'm an idiot but I'm an idiot who has duties"

"I know and I love you more than you know"

Demi and Kiba chose that moment to interrupt and I endured another lecture from the Demidevimon twins which made me and my mate smile.
