Sacho Chisaki was much like the Yakuza he once ran.
Once so powerful, and now so weak.
He was the head of the Yakuza. The boss.
Of course, by the time he got control of the organization, it was far from the juggernaut it once was.
After quirks came into existence, so did self-proclaimed superheroes, or rather, vigilantes.
These people weren't the police. This wasn't just a job to them. These people were motivated by one of two things, justice, or vengeance.
They couldn't be bribed, very few could be intimidated, and even less could be stopped.
Because what could the Yakuza do to stop them? The Yakuza consisted of mostly older men, and quirks back then were exclusive to the younger generations. That's not to say they didn't have members in the younger generation, of course, they did, they were the freaking Yakuza, but back then quirks were so much rarer, and the Yakuza were strictly against quirks at the time.
And police couldn't protect them, most of them didn't have quirks either, and even if they did they wouldn't be allowed to use them.
And so unchecked vigilantism spread across Japan, and the Yakuza were of course the main target.
Some of them choose to expose their crimes, so much so that no amount of payoff to the police could stop them from getting arrested.
And others simply choose to hunt them down like dogs. Slaughtering them like livestock.
However the method, they drastically reduced the Yakuza's power, and of course, the less power the Yakuza had, the less they could protect themselves. And as the issue snowballed, getting bigger and bigger, the Yakuza could do nothing but watch.
This continued until the Yakuza was reduced to a rather modest crime organization, a fraction of what it once was.
That was the state of the Yakuza when Sacho gained control of it.
Still, he tried to run a respectable crime organization. Focusing on maintaining the spirit of the Yakuza, while making sure their power wasn't reduced any further.
He got a fair share of criticism, about his unwillingness to expand the Yakuza, and try and recapture what they once were.
And no one was more vocal about this than Kai Chisaki. The boy he took off the streets. Raised as his own. Like a son.
Ever since Kai learned about the Yakuza's former glory, he had been obsessed with restoring the Yakuza back to power.
Of course, that was a joke. Anyone with any amount of sense could see that the modern-day government would never allow the Yakuza to become what it once was, and even if they could get back to that level of power, they would have to compromise their honor to do so. And at that point, they were Yakuza in name only.
But Kai never understood that. He kept suggesting things that would increase their power...but all of them compromised their honor. Their code.
And it just got worse and worse as time went on. Scaho realized that he had completely failed in getting across his principles, and their importance to Kai.
But this all came to a head when his foolish daughter did one of the worst things a parent could ever do.
His granddaughter, Eri had developed a...problematic quirk. One that had taken the life of his son-in-law.
And so like a coward, his daughter abandoned Eri. Leaving her in his care. But no before condemning her as a monster.
It was then that Sacho realized he was terrible at raising kids.
He doesn't know what possessed him to leave Eri under Kai's care. Perhaps he thought that his sense of loyalty to him would prevent Kai from bringing any harm upon the girl.
Oh, how wrong he was.
Kai came to him with a simple...insane plan. It was beyond sacrificing their principles, it was sacrificing their humanity.
Naturally, he pointed this out to Kai...but Kai was too far gone.
The last thing Sacho saw was Kai's hand coming towards his face.
And now...he was awake.
XXXXXXXXX
Sacho opened his eyes and immediately was blinded by light.
"U-Ugh." The former Yakuza boss moved his hands to his face, to try and block the light, but it took a while for his eyes to adjust.
When they did, he could finally see again.
He immediately recognized the ceiling of a hospital. And he quickly put together what had happened.
Kai had done something to him, and he was hospitalized. Possibly in a coma. That seemed like the most logical assumption.
"Good, everything worked." Said a young girl's voice coming from his left.
The man quickly sat up, and looked to his left, and saw a young, dark-haired girl sitting in a chair next to his bed.
"Who...are you?" The boss asked. Wondering why there was a random little girl next to him, in his hospital room.
But more than that. Despite being certain he had never met this girl, there was something...familiar about her.
It was eyes. Definity her eyes.
The way she looked at him. It was somewhat cold, yet still carried a lot of respect and a bit of affection, combined with a drop of frustration.
It reminded him so much of Kai, it was off-putting.
The girl sighed. "I'm not surprised you don't recognize me. Perhaps this will make things clear.
She dug into the pockets of her hoodie, and pulled out a metal cube, before taking off one of her gloves.
The girl touched the cube, and it immediately disassembled. Exploding to thousands of tiny metal shards, before almost instantly coming back together, in the shape of a small statue of a crow.
The boss's eyes widened in disbelief. "T-That quirk...no...it's not possible...Kai had a daughter!?"
The girl sighed again, this time more annoyed. "I see why everyone assumes that, but it is extremely frustrating that people think I would ever get intimately involved with a woman. No. It's me pops. Kai."
The boss stared at him for a while, not saying anything for a good minute, before eventually, he spoke up. "Excuse me?"
Kai gave yet another sigh. "This...is going to take a while to explain."
XXXXXXXX
"Kai, what kind of drugs are you on?" The boss asked after hearing their entire explanation.
"None pops. You know I'd never take anything that obscures my judgment, as admittedly terrible as it was in retrospect." Kai said. "Everything I have explained to you is simply a fact. If you look at the recent news, hopefully, you will come to believe me. It would be troublesome if you didn't."
The boss didn't like the way Kai said that. Even as a little girl, Kai was still intimidating just because of the power of their quirk, and the coldness of their heart.
Especially now that he was sure that Kai wouldn't hesitate to turn that quirk on him.
"Although you didn't seem to have trouble believing that I am actually Kai Chisaki," Kai noted curiously.
"You could have just done that to yourself. Who knows other disturbing things you did behind my back." The boss said, his voice dripping with venom. He'd been a bit more aggressive than he wanted to, but the haze of confusion was begging to wear off, and anger was setting in. "For all, I know the real reason you wanted Eri was even worse than I thought."
Kai looked...sad. For once Kai's usual expression melted away, and on their face was a look more appropriate for a little girl. They didn't look like they were going to burst into tears, but their face was very similar to a child getting scolded.
It was an expression he hadn't seen from Kai in a long, long time.
"So, this is where our relationship stands...with you accusing me of being sexually attracted to little girls." Chisaki sighed sadly. "Look, I am aware that what I did was wrong I mean...logically speaking I still think it was the right thing, which is part of the problem, but I'm trying to fix that, but back to what I was saying. I was wrong. Objectively wrong. I betrayed you after all you did for me, in an attempt to restore the Yakuza back to its previous glory, and in doing so not only did terrible things you never would have approved of, even if they had worked out...and they didn't. I ultimately caused the death of the Yakuza...even if that is ultimately necessary."
The boss had to take a few moments to take that all in.
Firstly, he had already figured that Kai had got to Eri. He figured that was going to happen when he saw Kai's hand approach his face. It was still horrible to hear, because, well...it was horrible to hear that what Kai had planned happened to anyone, let alone his young granddaughter.
Secondly, who knows what else Kai had done with the Yakuza while he was in control. Most likely, since no one was going to stop him, he proceeded to throw all of their principals out the window. Turning them into just another criminal organization.
Thirdly, the Yakuza had been destroyed! And Kai said that it was necessary!?
Never in his life did he think Kai would say that the destruction of the Yakuza was necessary. Even if he wasn't sure that Kai was loyal to him he was sure Kai was loyal to the Yakuza...or at least...the Yakuza name. Kai never was really loyal to the Yakuza spirit.
Kai looked at him and saw the boss was in a completely stunned silence. "Alright, well it seems you need some time. You're shocked. You're angry. You're probably feeling all sorts of things right now. So...I'll give you some time to cool down, and think about some things."
Lolihaul then proceeded to get off the chair and look out the window.
"Ah, it won't be long now," Kai said, looking outside seeing police cars, police choppers, policemen, and of course, pro heroes all gathered outside. "The heroes will be coming in the building soon...it was about time I take my leave anyway...although doing it here could be messy for you, and I've caused you enough pain."
And with that, Kai went up to the door, and started to leave, but not before saying one last thing. "You know pops...I really am sorry for what I did. And I really...really hope that you take the destruction of the Yakuza as a chance to repent, and live a good life...because I really don't want to have to hurt you anymore."
Then without another word, Kai left. Making sure not to show his face.
Or the tears going down their face.
XXXXXXXXXX
Kai hated this little girl's body.
It still wasn't anything comparable to hell. Nothing was, but it was a worse punishment than he initially thought.
At first, he thought the issues would come from the gender difference and the height difference. But honestly, the real issue was...age.
Children were more sensitive to emotions, and Kai was not excluded from this.
Which is why he was now currently crying in the halls of the hospital.
Kai sniffled as they tried to wipe the tears off their face. "Damn this body."
Honestly, it was difficult for Lolihaul not to break down right now.
Everything they had done. Everything they had ever done, was not repaying the person who took them in. Instead, they were just dragging him, and everyone around them, further into an abyss of sin.
And now he had to convince pops to turn a new leaf. Repent for his old crimes, and make amends somehow.
Otherwise, he would have to find another way to...convince him. A much less pleasant way...most likely something akin to torture.
Because those were the only options. Letting him go to hell was not something Kai could ever let happen.
Kai had never been great at repaying the boss, but he at the very least would save him from eternal damnation.
"Freeze!"
Kai opened their eyes, having closed them at some point because of the tears, and found that in front of them were three heroes.
Kamui Woods, Crust, and All Might himself.
Now that puts the smile right back on her face. So feared was Izuku that multiple top-level heroes swarmed into a hospital, to fight a little girl.
It was enough to make them laugh, in fact...they did laugh.
"Bahahaha!" The heroes looked at Lolihaul confused.
"Young lady, what exactly is so funny?" All Might asked her.
"Pfft. A group of top heroes, and a whole swarm of police, are all surrounding a little girl, and you're asking, ``What's so funny?" Kai chuckled.
"Well you have to understand, your ally is someone very dangerous so that unfortunately makes you a priority as well young lady." All Might said. "Now, please come easily, we don't want to hurt you."
Once again Kai burst out laughing. The notion of hearing All Might speaking to him like a child. It was ridiculous.
"Yes, you do. Or at least you actually believed me when I told you who I was." Kai chuckled. "But either way, you can't hurt me."
"Kid, do you know who you're talking to?" Kamui Woods had heard that this kid was out of her mind. But this girl seemed to really be insane.
Kai rolled their eyes. "I am fully aware of who he is. And yes he is very capable of harming me. But trust me when I say, no earthly force can really hurt me. Not after what I've been through...besides, all I really need is a single touch, and this fight is over."
"Well, you might have a bit of an issue getting hold of me." All Might told them.
Kai shook their head and gave a confident smile. Very aware of the horror they were about to inflict on these heroes, even if it was temporary. "I never said I had to touch you, moron. What terrible heroes. Can't even see when a child is about to kill themselves."
The heroes eyes widened, but not even All Might could make a move, before Kai touched themself, causing them to explode across the halls and the heroes, red with her remains.
Kai's only regret there is that he couldn't see the looks on the heroes faces when they realized she wasn't gonna put himself back together.
XXXXXXXXXXXX
Suddenly, Kai was back at the base.
The base being one of his old Yakuza hideouts.
Specifically, it seems they were now sitting on the couch of one of his lounges, sitting next to Izuku.
"Yeah, that's what I thought would happen." Izuku sighed. He had been watching the news on the T.V. where the news was reporting about Kai's trip to the hospital. "Take a look at the headline."
Kai looked down at the headline, reading it for a moment before a look of pure rage engulfed her. "Lolihaul sighted at hospital!?"
Izuku burst out laughing. "Lolihaul! That's great!"
"Mmmmmmm." Kai seethed. "Oh, this makes it hard to be a good person."
"To BECOME a good person." Izuku corrected after collecting himself. "You're still far from a good person Lolihaul."
"Oh, I've found a new worst part of this body." Kai seethed, before taking a moment to calm down. "Putting that aside, thank you for allowing me time to do what I needed to do."
"Well if you can convince the man to repent, then that lines up with my interests." Izuku shrugged. "Now enough leisure time. Let's get back to work."
