Spirit of Vengeance

Izuku is desperate. He's powerless, has no friends other than his sister, and his mother has been diagnosed with cancer. Thinking that his life has no value, he makes a deal with the devil to save his mother. Things don't go as planned, as Izuku becomes the host for something ancient, something powerful, something very vengeful and now it's fury is unleashed upon the world.

22. Hiatus

Ok, guys. So you might be disappointed, but I want to emphasize that this is a Hiatus and not a cancelation.

I have no intention of ever canceling this story, for reasons I'll get onto later. I know some people say it's going on Hiatus and then never go back to it. But I don't intend on doing that unless something drastic happens.

Now, why is this story going on Hiatus? Well, actually a lot of reasons actually.

Firstly, I have too many stories right now, and soon enough I won't have as much free time.

And the other reason...I hate writing this story. I realized this some time ago, however, the issue came in that this story was far too popular for me to just...cancel it.

This is why updates have come so...slowly. I've been putting them off because I just don't want to write this story anymore.

But I had to. Because so many people wanted to see it continue and see where this is going. I not only got people invested in the story, but I got them invested in a rewrite. I couldn't just stop after all that.

But the issue is that that's not good for your guys or me. You guys deserve more than me scraping up a chapter once a month and throwing it out so I don't have to worry about it again, a writer should have some level of passion for their work.

So I want to put this on Hiatus, not only to give myself more free time, but also to give myself time to figure out how to make this story something I don't hate to write.

I don't know how long it's going to be, other than it's gonna be a while.

I'm really sorry, but I need to do this.
