A curtain opens and you see Ryder, Kitty, unique, Marley and Jake standing in front of the stage. The girls wearing beautiful black dresses and dark shoes. The guys were wearing a black suit and ties with dress shoes. Marley stepped forward out of the 5 of them and she took a deep breath as she started the first verse, with the rest vocalizing behind her...

(How to save a Life" by the Fray)

"Step one, you say we need to talk

He walks, you say sit down, it's just a talk

He smiles politely back at you

You stare politely right on through

Some sort of window to your right"

Then out of the shadows from both sides. Artie and Tina on the left, and Sam and Blaine on the right. Joining in.

Tina and Blaine stepped forward to sing

Some sort of window to your right

As he goes left, and you stay right

Between the lines of fear and blame

You begin to wonder why you came."

Then the crew up front dispersed and let the originals alumnis step forward and take the stage.

"Where did I go wrong?

I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all night

Had I known how to save a life"

Now they were all lined up along the dark stage. Hands clasped together as they harmonized

At this point, Sam Evans took the stage.

"Let him know that you know best

'Cause after all, you do know best

Try to slip past his defense

Without granting innocence"

Then Kurt stepped foward

"Lay down a list of what is wrong

The things you've told him all along"

Then Mercedes...

"And pray to God he hears you

And I pray to God he hears you!"

Then everyone together

"Where did I go wrong?

I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all night

Had I known how to save a life."

Then everyone moved over for Rachel to take her spot

"As he begins to raise his voice

You lower yours and grant him one last choice

Drive until you lose the road

Or break with the ones you've followed

He will do one of two things

He will admit to everything

Or he'll say he's just not the same

And you'll begin to wonder why you came!"

Then everyone joined again

"Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all nigh

Had I known how to save a life

Where did I go wrong? I lost a friend

Somewhere along in the bitterness

And I would have stayed up with you all night

Had I known how to save a life."

Then, they turned around to face a huge screen, showing a beautiful picture of Santana Lopez, the angel that was taken from us for far too soon...

The Cheerleader

- Quinn's P.O.V

The funeral was about a month ago. I'm taking a leave from my job as a lawyer. It's been hard to concentrate recently. I've been really in my head about it. I'm leaving Connecticut today to go back to Lima. Something about Mr. Shue wanting us back for a little memorial.

I've been trying to contact Britt for days now but I got no answers. I know she's been on tour with Beyoncé being her background dancer but she had been dismissed from that when it all happened. But she surely must have gotten the memo from Mr. Shue. Maybe I won't even see her in Lima. The last we saw of eachother was at the funeral. She didn't say much. She just stood around with a dazed look in the eyes. People apologized for the loss of her wife but she barely made eye contact. I already lost my husband, and I lost one half of the unholy Trinity. I can't lose the other. Not now. I will forever miss her. Forever always

I then packed up my stuff and walked out of my apartment door and headed for the next flight to Ohio.

It was now a cloudy Tuesday in Lima Ohio. The Glee club was settling down. With Kurt and Blaine holding hands in the back row, they had Burt and Carole take care of the newborn, Tracy Anderson, for the time being.

Marley's head was on Jake's shoulder. They eventually got back together. No plans of marriage yet. Ryder and Unique are close friends again but are currently single. Unique is at a performing arts college and Ryder dropped out. Jane, the twins and Rodrick was there too. They didn't know Santana that well but wanted to pay their respects.

The front row consist of Artie and Tina holding hands. They are married but have no plans on children as of now. Sam's hand on Tina's back and holding Mercedes hand. They have been talking again more recently. Maybe they will get together again soon. Mike was on the other side of them, Quinn sitting right next to Kurt. Rachel was in Santana's usually spot and her head in the crook of Jessie's neck, who also decided to join. A full house...

Mr. Shue walked in with a brief case and a sweater vest as always. He was now the principle of the school but he just wanted to be the Glee teacher again for a few days.

He walked up to the chalkboard and wrote "Santana," in long, cursive letters with a little heart next to it. He clapped his hands lightly and turned back to the former Glee club.

"I know alot of you are busy, but I'm glad that you all can make it here. I saw you all at the funeral with her family and friends, but now, it's just us. I want to memorialize her the only way we know how... By singing. For the whole week. You don't have to but maybe you can pay tribute by singing a song she sung or a song she liked." He put a hand on Kurt's shoulder from behind him and took a deep exhale. It was silent in the room for a second, until Quinn stood up from her seat.

"I'll like to sing something, Mr. Shue." She announced as she walked in the front of the classroom. "I wish Britt could be here to sing with me but she couldn't be here today." Quinn looked down as she whispered the song title to Brad the Piano guy.

"Have you heard from her since the funeral?" Tina asked from her seat. Quinn slowly shook her head as she looked down. Once the song started playing, everyone smiled sadly as they recognized it immediately.

("Songbird" By Fleetwood Mac)

"For you, there'll be no more crying

For you, the sun will be shining

And I feel that when I'm with you

It's alright, I know it's right.

She took a deep breath. Looking at no one in particular

"To you, I'll give the world

To you, I'll never be cold

'Cause I feel that when I'm with you

It's alright, I know it's right."

Everyone was now smiling at her with tears in there eyes.

"And the songbirds are singing

Like they know the score

And I love you, I love you, I love you

Like never before!"

The piano plays a little bit as Quinn turned around and tucked her hair behind her ear and wiped her tears around.

"And I wish you all the love in the world

But most of all, I wish it from myself!"

She belted out the last note as she felt the music more and more

"And the songbirds keep singin

Like they know the score

And I love you, I love you, I love you

Like never before!"

Her lip began to quiver and tears ran down her cheek. She sniffed and covered her face with her hands.

Mr. Shue and Mike were already on their feet at her first tear but a familiar short Burnette girl beat them too it.

Rachel inbraced her in a hug and she was hesitant but ended up hugging her back, soaking in the small brunette words of comfort. They became really close after Finn and Puck died. They both lost someone they loved so much.

The next day, Quinn brought a little brown box to school, filled with Flowers and CD's that Santana always listened too.

She layed them down next to the many flowers and notes from students. Wishing her well and saying, "R.I.P our beautiful cheerio."

Quinn also put down a picture that someone took of them at senior prom. When they were singing "Take My Breath Away." Santana's arm linked around Quinn's. It was after her car crash and she was still learning to stand again.

"Welp, it's time to make room for the teacher of the year award!" Sue spoke as she walked up Behind Quinn, making her jump. She watched in horror as Sue took down Santana's picture and replaced it with one of her own. The bottom being labeled, "Coach of the year."

"What do you think you're doing? You're not even a teacher here anymore!" Quinn asked in fury.

"You wouldn't think I would miss Tana week in your little Glee club, don't you? Plus, this memorial has been up for a week. Now it's time to move on and replace it with someone a little more appealing." Sue said as she admired the picture of herself with a whistle in her hand.

"Are you kidding me?!" Quinn snapped as she looked back at Sue with heat radiating off her face.

"Oh, calm yourself, Regina George. There's a flower planted near the cheer field with a plague labeled "Latina Lesbian." You should check it out." Sue smirked as she walked away.

"Why do you have to be such a bitch!?" Quinn snapped, making Sue stop in her tracks but taking a second for her to turn around.

"First of all, I'm not a bitch. I prefer the phrase, "leader of all things evil." Second, this is my way of grieving. By insulting the ones I care about. Now if you don't mind..." Sue spoke again as she walked off the other way.

Quinn huffed in frustration as she took down Sue's picture again and replaced it with Santana's orginal picture.

She remember the day Santana sung "I kissed a girl," in the Glee club. It was the first time she fully accepted herself as she was. She eventually forgave Finn for outing her and everyone was accepting. Her parents, the Glee club, the cheerios...

Well, everyone except her abuela.

Santana never spoken a word to her abuela since the wedding. She missed so much of Santana's adult life because she didn't accept her sexuality.

She did support Santana at her wedding but nothing after.

Britt and Santana have been trying for a baby with a sperm donor. Britt was trying to get pregnant but it wasn't working out so well. They had 3 false pregnancy and a miscarriage, and her abuela wasn't there at all to pick up the pieces.

Quinn had to wonder what her grandmother was doing now since the funeral.

The next day in Glee club, they were on the auditorium stage, sitting in a circle. Either on chairs, on the floor or standing.

Sam was sitting on a chair, playing guitar. With Artie and Blaine by his sides and they started to play a tune that they all reconized but a much softer and a acoustic version.

(Valerie" By Amy Winehouse. Acoustic version)

"Well sometimes I go out by myself

And I look across the water

And I think of all the things, what you're doing

And in my head I paint a picture"

Sam sung as he strummed his guitar. Blaine and Artie joined in on the next part

"Cause since I've come on home

Well my body's been a mess

And I've missed your ginger hair

And the way you like to dress

Won't you come on over

Stop making a fool out of me

Why don't you come on over, Valerie? Valerie

Valerie

Valerie"

Blaine took a solo the next verse.

"Did you have to go to jail

Put your house on up for sale, did you get a good lawyer?

I hope you didn't catch a tan

I hope you'll find the right man who'll fix it for ya

Are you shopping anywhere

Changed the color of your hair, are you busy?

And did you have to pay that fine

That you were dodging all the time, are you still dizzy?"

Now Artie's solo

"Since I've come on home

Well my body's been a mess

And I've missed your ginger hair

And the way you like to dress

Won't you come on over?

Stop making a fool out of me

Why don't you come on over, Valerie?"

They all joined in

"Valerie

Valerie

Valerie"

Now Sam strung even slower, choking back tears

"Well sometimes I go out by myself

And I look across the water

And I think of all the things, what you're doing

And in my head I paint a picture"

Then a little faster.

"Since I've come on home

Well my body's been a mess

And I've missed your ginger hair

And the way you like to dress

Won't you come on over?

Stop making a fool out of me

Why don't you come on over, Valerie?"

"Valerie

Valerie

Valerie

Valerie

Valerie

Valerie

Valerie

Valerie"

Tina joined in for the last line.

"Why don't you come on over, Valerie?

There was a respectful silence after it was finished. People looking down and wiping their eyes. Rachel was the first to walk out of the room in silence. Holding back tears.

Meanwhile, in the Lopez household; Santana's mom, Maribel Lopez; was packing up her daughter childhood bedroom in tears. Her teddy bear she had as a kid, her favorite dress she wore to prom. The beautiful red one that was off the shoulder and had flowers on it, her favorite hair clip, her cheerleading pom poms, and of course...

Her cheerios uniform...

The one she wore pretty much every day in Highschool since Sue made them, but she didn't mind. She also still had the old cheerios uniform. The one with the black strip on the side. She also had her jacket she wore with the uniform when it was cold out.

Maribel looked to the side of the room along with her mother in law, Alma. Who was picking up pictures of her beautiful granddaughter. Some of her singing, cheering for football games, or competing with the New Directions. There was even a picture someone took of her singing "Valerie." The most she ever sung for a competition before and it was her best performance.

Then there was the picture of her and Brittany at the dinosaur prom on the little dinosaur statue. Santana holding up a peace sign in her red dress and Brittany sticking her tongue out wearing a white shirt and small top hat headband

And and course, a picture of her at her wedding. Both wearing beautiful dresses. Another picture of them dancing while Santana changed into a beautiful white jumper.

Only if her abuela was supportive from the start...

They soon heard a knock on the front door and Maribel opened it and it revealed Quinn standing at the doorway.

"Quinn? What are you doing here?" She asked.

Quinn turned her head and saw Alma standing in the back. Quinn felt heat rise from her face and it was unattainable. Yes, Santana was known for being a bitch. People even called her "Satan," but she did NOT deserve that pain she went through.

"Are you happy with yourself now?" Quinn sneered as Alma's face dropped.

"She's gone! SHE'S GONE! You didn't accept her sin, you thought she was going to Hell!! Well the only person going to Hell was you!" Quinn yelled with tears down her face, Maribel pushing her back.

"You want to tell me about sinning! I had sex before marriage, add a Sin; I had a baby before marriage, add a Sin, I even slept with a women! Your granddaughter, and I was still leader of the Celibacy club!" She snapped without thinking. She forgot they never found out about her sleeping with Santana.

"So yeah, I know alot about Sins, and Santana..." She took a deep breath and held back her tears. "She wasn't a sinner."

Then Quinn left quietly through the door. Feeling a weight being lifted off her shoulders.

The next day in Glee club, everyone was once again gathered in the choir room. Brittany still know where to be seen...

Rachel and Blaine were already in the front of the class room. Blaine was sitting at a piano bench and Rachel was standing in the center of the room.

"I know Santana and I were never known as the best of friends. We had our good times and bad times, but... um..." She was at a lost for words.

"This is for Santana..." She sighed as Blaine started playing the piano.

("Haunted" By Taylor Swift• Acoustic)

"You and I walk a fragile line

I have known it all this time

But I never thought I'd live to see it break

It's getting dark and its all too quiet

And I can't trust anything now

And its comin' over you like its all a big mistake"

Her voice was smooth as always. Her eyes closed and her hands clasped together.

"Holding my breath, won't lose you again

Something's made your eyes go cold"

She took a deep breathe before continuing.

"Come on, come on don't leave me like this

I thought I had you figured out

Something's gone terribly wrong, you're all I wanted

Come on, come on don't leave me like this

I thought I had you figured out

Can't breathe whenever you're gone

Can't turn back, now I'm haunted"

She finished the chorus strong and powerful as Blaine was killing the piano.

"Stood there and watched you walk away

From everything we had

But I still mean every word I said to you

He will try to take away my pain

And he just might make me smile

But the whole time, I'm wishing it was you instead"

Rachel got chills by her own vocals. That never happened before. Not since Finn.

Blaine added a little background vocal to this part.

"Oh, holding my breath

Won't see you again

Something keeps me holding onto nothing

I know

I know

I just know

You're not gone, you can't be gone, no!"

She belted out the bridge with her eyes closed and her hands clasped over her heart.

"Come on, come on, don't leave me like this

I thought I had you figured out

Something's gone terribly wrong

Won't finish what you started

Come on, come on, don't leave me like this

I thought I had you figured out

Can't breathe whenever you're gone

Can't go back, I'm haunted"

Blaine had his own little piano. His fingers assaulting the key board and he looked so focused. Finally the tempo got slower and Rachel sung one last line.

"You and I walk a fragile line

I have known it all this tim

Never ever thought I'd see it break

Never thought I'd see it"

It was like the room was silent and only buzzing was in her ear. Some people didn't clap since it was a tribute but someone people quietly snapped out of respect.

Rachel walked back to her chair and was embraced in a tight hug by Kurt and Quinn.

It's the last day of the week and tomorrow, everything will be over. The beautiful tribute of Santana will be gone, everyone will be going back to their homes. Kurt, Blaine, Rachel and Jesse are going back to New York. Mercedes, Artie and Tina are going back to California and Quinn will be going back to Connecticut to maybe finish her masters in law degree.

But still no one has seen Brittany.

They understood why she didn't show up to the Glee club memorial, but why didn't she atleast text or call anyone? Leaving every worried sick. She hasn't even called her mom.

Today was a quiet day at Glee club. No one sung today. It was mostly just quiet talks and hugging.

One by one, people emptied out into the hallway near Santana's memorial. Luckily it still had everything on it. Flowers, pictures, letters and things that reminded us of her.

"Does anyone have anything to say? Before they take this down?" Mr. Shuester asked. Everyone remained silent with heads down with tears in their eyes.

"I would."

Everyone turned and saw Brittany standing there. She had a pair of nice, tight, dress pants on with black high heels and a white, loose shirt that was slightly cropped. Her hair was in a side ponytail and she still had her bright wedding ring on.

Everyone was shocked to see her. She stepped forward and nelt down next to the memorial, people backed away.

"Santana..." She whispered so low that nobody heard.

"My sweet, Santana." Her voice cracked and she had to wipe her eyes with the back of her hand.

"You've always loved me unconditional. No matter how stupid I can be something, you always made me feel like the smartest girl in the world." She smiled as she caressed her late wife's picture.

"You made me understand who I am. You told me I'm not just the ditzy, hot chearleader... I'm a dancer and it's my passion. I only know that from you. You taught me to love and you taught me to be myself. You will always be my favorite dance partner. Forever and always." She sniffed and grabbed the tissue Quinn was holding out for her.

She quietly stood up and faced the Glee club.

"Can we go inside now?" She asked as everyone led her in the door of the Glee room. Her breathe almost hitched. This is it. This is the Glee room. They room they feel in love in.

-- Flashback --

The bell rung and Brittany walked in the empty Glee room and saw only Santana sitting in the back row, looking as beautiful as ever.

"You wanted to see me?" Brittany asked.

"Sophomore year, I used to sit in this back row and secretly watch you. Counted the number of times you smiled at me and die on days that you didn't."

Brittany walked over with a smile on her face.

Santana was getting choked up and shrugged her shoulders.

"I miss this place so much... It's where we fell in love. Where I can say things with music when words just weren't enough."

Brittany sat down in the seat next to her.

"And I need to tell you something that I don't know how to say..."

-- End of Flashback --

Santana knew how to express herself with music, Brittany knows how to express herself with dance.

There she was, standing in front of the Glee club while looking at the spot Santana used to sit in.

"I don't want any applause. This isn't what it's about. It's about love and I am not good with words. Most of you know that. I failed English 3 times." Brittany tried to lightened the mood as some people chuckled.

"So I wanted to express myself the only way I know best. Sam, Blaine... Can I get help here?" She asked as they walked to the front of the room and Sam got his guitar and Blaine went to the piano and was waiting for the cue by Brittany.

"This is for you, Santana." Brittany whispered, looking up. Mr. Shue and a few people did as well.

"Chasing Cars" By The Snow Patrol"

Blaine began playing the piano and Brittany was standing, facing the other way.

Sam started singing.

"We'll do it all

Everything

On our own

She was on her toes and took a leap forward with her leg out and she did a nice spin.

"We don't need

Anything

Or anyone"

She did a angelic tumble with her leg in the air. A similar dance move she did in "Dance with somebody" with Santana.

"If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

She layed flat on the floor with her arm out to the ceiling. Then, she leaned back so she flipped onto her knees and gripped her chest dramatically but it was all part of the routine.

"I don't quite know

How to say

How I feel"

Once she was up, she twirled with herself in mid air, like she was dancing with someone else.

Similar how they danced down the isle during "Toucha toucha toucha toucha me!" They were swinging, laughing and dancing.

Everyone knew now.

She was incorporating all the dances she ever did with Santana...

"Those three words

Are said too much

They're not enough"

She bounced slowly on her feet and reached out in front of her, only to bring it back to her chest, just like in "What Doesn't kill you makes you Stronger"

"If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world"

Twirled some more. If anyone else did it, they would get dizzy. Then, she purposely collapsed on the ground again and waited for the music to pick up.

"Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life"

She took a chair that was closest to her and she sat down in it smoothly and lightly pounded on her chest. Similar to "I got one hand in my Pocket/ You Make the Earth Move"

"Let's waste time

Chasing cars

Around our heads"

Still in the chair, she extended her leg and whiped her hair down her leg, similar to the way they did in "Toxic."

"I need your grace

To remind me

To find my own"

She tumbled on the ground again. Like the did in "Me Against the Music but much slower and with poisse.

"If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?

Forget what we're told

Before we get too old

Show me a garden that's bursting into life."

She couched down into a resting position until the music picked up.

"All that I am

All that I ever was

Is here in your perfect eyes, they're all I can see"

She did a long leap and gripped her head with lots of emotion.

"I don't know where

Confused about how as well

Just know that these things will never change for us at all"

She hopped on the piano with her hand caressing it. Being mindfulness of Blaine who sitting right there. Trying to not kick him.

"If I lay here

If I just lay here

Would you lie with me and just forget the world?"

The music finally ended and Brittany struck her final pose and tears were streaming down her eyes. Like she asked before, no one clapped. They sat and sunk in her amazing and touching performance.

The first one out of her seat was Quinn of course, the other cheerio.

"I'm glad your here..."

Later that day, when Mr. Shue was packing up his stuff in the chorus room, he saw Brittany sneak in.

"Hi, Mr. Shue." She spoke with a soft voice.

"Brittany! Your performance today was beautiful! Outstanding! Santana would have been proud!" He embraced her in a hug.

She hugged back loosely but shrugged her shoulders like her performance wasn't a big deal.

"So how have things been going? Are you okay?" He asked nervously as she rose an eyebrow at him.

"What do you expect from a girl who's a widow at 26?" She spoke quietly, making Mr. Shue cringe at his own question.

"Well, where have you been? We've haven't seen you since the funeral..." He asked.

She just shrugged and looked away with tears in her eyes.

"I was at home. Thinking... I felt so lonely without Santana. I've been with her for so long, I forgot how to live on my own." She sniffed as Mr. Shue bit his lips and rubbed her shoulder.

"Well, I guess I don't have too."

Mr. Shue's head shot up on confusion.

"What do you mean?" He asked.

"I'm pregnant." She admitted with a crooked smile.

Mr. Shue was shocked. He didn't know whether to act sympathic or happy. Either would be acceptable he guesses.

"We finally found an anonymous sperm donor. It was Santana's choice. It... didn't work the first time but I just found out two weeks ago." She smiled and her eyes lit up. The first time in weeks.

"Well, congratulations! Do you know what your having?" He asked. She shrugged though.

"No, I just found out. If it was a girl, she wanted to name it Valerie! If it was a boy though, I wanted the name, Justin... after Justin Timberlake. Britney Spears ex boyfriend!" She smirked as Mr. Shue smiled with a chuckle. She's still her same old self. Same old Brittany.

"Well, I hope you have a great life, Brittany." Mr. Shue smiled tearfully as she went in for another hug.

Once they released from eachother hold, Brittany left the room, without another word.

Once Brittany was outside, she went near the tree that had Finn's memorial on it, and then Puck's... and now it had Santana's.

Finn Hudson- 1994- 2013

Noah Puckerman- 1994- 2018

Santana Lopez- 1995- 2020

Brittany nelt down in front of it. She caressed each one of the pictures but stopped at Santana's. She smiled at it softly as she looked behind her one the football field. It's like she can almost see them dancing and singing to "Problem" with the chearleaders and the football players.

She softly caressed her stomach. Her heart clenching that their baby will never meet thier other mom. Brittany will be a single mother... but that would be okay. Atleast she'll always have a piece of her late wife's with her. No, it would have her genes. But it'll always be a special part of Santana.

Brittany finally got up off the ground and took one last look at the school and thought back on everything that happened here. Where Brittany and Santana fell in love, where they got engaged, where they confessed their love to eachother. It all happened at this very school.

Brittany held her head up high and softy kiss her late wife's plaque and left the school. Without another word said. She went off to continue with her life but never forget about her beautiful and amazing wife, Santana Lopez...
