Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing the episode "Washington B.C." but with some difference in what happens, along with a surprise at the end. So, without further ado.

The first stop on the group's trip was Vermiddia City, one of the many cities that lined the Kingdom of Vale's coast. With the ocean on one side and mountain ranges on the other, it provided natural protection for the cities from the Grimm.
Though at the moment, several people were in the streets watching as a fire engulfed an apartment building. While in the distance, they could hear the sirens of the approaching fire truck and ambulance, but many were worried that they wouldn't arrive in time to help the people still trapped inside.
And inside the building were two people, a mother and her son as they rushed to the door to escape the flames, only to be forced back when burning debris fell in front of it. The mother instinctively pulled her son close, looking around in fear and panic at the room burning around them, trying to find another way out. Before they heard the sound of the ceiling cracking, making them look up, only to be terrified at seeing a piece of ceiling had broken off and was now falling towards them.
Holding onto each other, the mother and son braced themselves to be crushed by the burning debris…only for it to never come. With the son opening his eyes, only to be shocked and amazed when he saw what looked like a giant blue bug holding up the debris.
"Who are you?" The boy asked, making Big Chill look down at them, seeing they were relieved but also wary of him.
"Call me Big Chill and I'm here to help." Said Big Chill before tossing the debris aside and unleashing his freezing breath at the flames, extinguishing them, much to the mother's and son's amazement.
Unblocking the exit, Big Chill ripped the door off and motioned them to follow him, both doing so as they ran out of the room. Heading for the stairs the alien unleashed his breath again, putting out the flames and creating an ice slide straight to the exit.
"Quickly, go down and get out of here!" Big Chill said, the mother and son nodding as they slid down the ice and quickly ran out of the burning building.
Before they and everyone else looked on in amazement as Big Chill turned intangible and flew in out of the building, extinguishing the fires on all the floors. While also checking all the other rooms for anyone still trapped inside, grabbing and phasing them out of the building as he did so.
It wasn't long before the fire had been put out while everyone had managed to get out of the building, with Big Chill landing on the ground as his wings folded around him. Looking at everyone to make sure he got all the people out before looking at the burned and now partially frozen building to see that he managed to put out the entire fire.
"Okay, looks like I got everyone out and the fire's taken care of, not bad. But that's not the end of it yet." Stated Big Chill before flying off, having heard over the radio in the Rust Bucket that there was also a jewel heist going on at the same time.
Guessing the jewel thieves were the ones to start the fire to act as a diversion to let them get away, the Necrofriggian soon spotted the thieves' car speeding through the streets with the Rust Bucket trailing behind them. Flying down low, Big Chill phased into the Rust Bucket, getting everyone's attention.
"Hey, did you stop the fire?" Jiraiya asked, with Big Chill nodding in response.
"Yeah, along with making sure everyone got out safely, now I'm gonna make sure to put these guys on ice. Mind providing a distraction?" Said Big Chill, with Yang immediately shooting up.
"I can do it!" Yang volunteered eagerly while activating Ember Celica.
"What?! Yang, don't even think-" Said Taiyang, only for his daughter to already rush to the passenger seat and lean out the window, firing several shots at the thieves car.
"I was actually thinking of ramming them, but that works too." Big Chill said before phasing out of the RV and going underground, with Tamago and Ruby pouting in annoyance.
"This is so unfair; Naruto has that watch and Yang has her gauntlets." Said Tamago, annoyed they can't do much without any weapons, with Ruby nodding in agreement.
"I'm working on some blasters with the drone parts, they should be done soon." Ruby whispered to Tamago, having worked on them while Jiraiya and Taiyang were asleep, knowing they'll be good temporary weapons until she has more time and more parts to use.
Even better with the parts she also managed to collect from the bigger drone Big Chill fought, much to her excitement at getting even more alien technology to work with.
With Tamago smiling at the ravenette, happy for when they'll be able to help out more once the blasters are finished.
While Yang kept shooting at the thieves car, the blonde being able to aim and blow out their back windshield, getting their attention as they went to grab their weapons to return fire. Only to shout in shock and panic when Big Chill emerged from underground, phasing inside the car.
"Peek-a-boo!" Big Chill said, grabbing the thieves and flying out of the car, which swerved out of the control and crashed into a wall.
Throwing the thieves against the wall, Big Chill hit them with his freezing breath, encasing them both in ice with only their heads being free.
"And that's the end of that. You two, just stay there and chill until the police arrive." Said Big Chill before he heard the watch start beeping and flashing red.
Making him quickly fly away and phase into the Rust Bucket and just in time, as not a moment later the Necrofriggian disappeared and Naruto was in place once again.
"Woohoo! That was awesome!" Yang said, grinning at getting to participate in a high-speed chase and shoot at bad guys.
"More like highly reckless and you won't be doing it again." Said Taiyang sternly, as while he may have been willing to let Yang and Ruby help evacuate people back at the campsite on Patch, he'd prefer them not needlessly endangering themselves.
"Relax Tai, she did pretty good, along with you kid in taking care of the fire and coming after the thieves." Jiraiya said, with Naruto nodding with a smile.
"Yeah, and it was definitely different from dealing with those drones, a lot easier too." Naruto said, knowing dealing with regular criminals and a burning building was much easier than those drones.
"Just don't get used to it, I doubt everyone we come across will be ordinary thieves." Stated Tamago, with everyone nodding in agreement since they were sure there were still a lot more threats they'll encounter.
With Jiraiya and Taiyang sharing a look, knowing just how true the albinos words will be with the return of aliens. Not counting the threats that are Remnant as well, which can be just as dangerous or even more so than some aliens.
"She's right. But for now, let's see about finding a place to park and rest, then get some shopping done in the morning." Jiraiya said before driving the Rust Bucket away from the frozen thieves, with the police arriving a few moments later.
*Sewers*
Though, unknown to everyone, deep in the sewers beneath Vermiddia was a hidden laboratory filled with taken apart machines that have been put together. Along with dozens of cages filled with animals, some of which looking to be hybrids of different kinds of species.
While within the lab was a man with fair skin, dark grey hair kept in a small ponytail and bangs framing his face, as well as small black, beady eyes. With his attire consisting of brown loafers, baggy grey pants, a purplish-grey dress shirt and a white lab coat.
This man was known as Amachi, a disgraced scientist that had since gone into hiding until he found a benefactor to continue his research and work.
"Hm, the hybridization looks to be stabilized, no outward mutations or negative side-effects. The test subjects are reacting normally." Amachi said while taking notes and looking over several mice, though none of them looked normal.
One mice was much larger, covered in dark green scales, and looked to be mixed with a lizard, another having longer ears and more defined hind legs like a rabbit, a third having brown spotted fur and sharper teeth like a hyena, the fourth one didn't have any fur and instead grey skin, gills, and black eyes like a shark, and the fifth possessed small, feathered wings growing from its back, long talons, and a more beak-shaped muzzle.
Amachi watched the mice with a smirk at seeing how each of them were acting as if nothing was different, while still using their new additions as if they were born with them. The rabbit-mouse was hopping around, the bird-mouse was able to flap its wings and hover slightly, the shark-mouse despite having gills was still capable of breathing air, and the hyena-mouse was laughing/squeaking every few moments.
'And my Semblance still affects them, even after the mutation.' Thought Amachi as he looked at the lizard-mouse, watching as it bit its own arm off before it regrew after a few moments.
His Semblance was a form of telepathy, allowing him to control animals, which is also why the mice were acting so calm despite how he mutated them and made the last batch kill each other.
"The heightened aggression, while difficult, is easy enough to solve thanks to my Semblance. Though perhaps I should look into creating control collars in the future." Amachi muttered while taking more notes before smirking again as his hybridization is finally a success.
Having already perfected his mutation experiments to mutate animals into larger, deadlier versions of themselves. Something his benefactor had a great interest in, which is the main reason they reached out and offered him their aid. Though given his status, Amachi still had to make do with any technology he could steal or get his hands on, rather than anything too eye-catching that'd draw attention.
'But I've made do, and it's time to move onto the next stage, reviving extinct and deceased animals. And I know just where to start.' Thought Amachi with a dark smile, before grabbing something and putting it on his head and chest.
The device looked like a spaghetti strainer being worn as a hat, with 2 headphone pads on the sides connected by a strap. On the top, it has horns resembling those of a rhinos. One of the headphone straps has a wire going down onto the chest, connecting to a disk, the top glowing red and the bottom black. This has a secondary wire going down to the waist, connected to a walkie talkie looking device.
This was his DNA Transmodulator, having created with parts from electronics he was able to get his hands on, allowing him to mutate any animals into giant, twisted versions of themselves.
"But before we begin, I need more power and parts. And you all will be helping me." Said Amachi while looking at the caged animals, putting on his red-tinted goggles and twisting the dial on his chest before choosing one and blasting it, laughing wickedly as he watched the animal grow and change.
*Next Day*
The next day, the group has headed to the new MegaMart store that just opened up in the city, possessing a wide variety of products. With Naruto, Tamago, Yang, and Ruby all looking around at everything. The four of them being especially excited when they went to the electronics section and found a bargain sale of game consoles and devices, which they all eagerly grabbed one of each along with some games for them.
"So uh, why are we getting these consoles and games again?" Jiraiya asked, looking at the large stack of consoles and video games in the cart with a raised brow.
"Don't you guys just use your Scrolls to play games, anyway? Why would you want these?" Questioned Taiyang, confused as to why they'd want the consoles when they play games on their Scrolls.
"Well yeah, we use our Scrolls, but these are classic systems! Nobody really uses them anymore, making them unique and cool!" Ruby said since she did enjoy some of the classics as opposed to the newer games they can get on their Scrolls.
"Rubes is right, plus they still have plenty of games that are exclusive, ones which I'll be happy to beat you at Whiskers." Added Yang with a smirk at Naruto, who returned it.
"Not even in your dreams, Yang." Stated Naruto since he didn't plan to lose.
"That's if I don't beat you all first." Tamago said with her own smirk, since she'll be able to practice a lot more with consoles and beat all of them.
Though suddenly the entire store began rumbling, much to their surprise, before TV sets began falling off the shelves in the electronics section. Their eyes widening in shock when a gigantic green snake with four red eyes and horns growing out of the back of its head burst through the wall with Amachi riding on top of it. The sight causing everyone to panic and scream as they ran away while the snake waved its tail around, sending shelves and displays flying everywhere.
"Woah! This place advertised a wide variety, but I didn't think that'd include giant animals!" Yang said shocked at the sight of the mutant snake as Amachi got down and began stealing various electronics.
"They also didn't advertise thieves crashing through the wall. Naruto." Said Tamago while looking to her brother, who nodded and ran down an aisle where no one was around.
Pressing the watches button, Naruto cycled through the aliens to see which one until he settled on Rath before slamming the dial back down and transformed into the tiger-like alien. With Rath jumping out and grabbing the snakes tail when he swung it to knock over a stack of boxes.
"Hey! Lemme tell ya somethin' guy who is obviously evil and attacking the store! You think you can steal stuff while Rath is around?! Rath is gonna show you why that's a big mistake, bigger than your stupid pet!" Rath shouted before swinging the snake and throwing it at Amachi, who quickly dropped down to the floor, scowling in annoyance at the sight of the alien.
"How annoying, to think an alien would be here of all places. But…I suppose this will be a good field test." Said Amachi, smirking as he stood up and spotted the pet department, blasting a hamster, a cockatiel, a lizard and a dog.
Each of the animals grew and transformed into mutated versions of themselves, much to the group was shock at the sight while Amachi took the chance to climb back on top of his snake
"Be honored that you will be among the first to witness as I make history! And very soon, you'll see as I make pre-history!" Amachi declared before mentally ordering the snake to leave as he had what he needed.
"Who said you could leave?! Rath didn't say you could leave until Rath gives you a major beating!" Said Rath, lunging at Amachi, only to be tackled by the mutated dog, with Rath growling and holding back the dog as it tried biting him.
"Oh, you want a piece of Rath too?! Well here, you can have two pieces!" Rath shouted before slamming his fist into the dogs head, knocking it off of him before tackling the mutated animal.
Wrapping his arms around the dog, Rath piledrived it into the ground before throwing it across the store. The dog getting back up and shook his head, growling at the alien before charging at him, with Rath charging at the dog as well. Growling as he grabbed hold of the dogs head, skidding back as the dog kept pushing against him.
"Lemme! Tell! Ya! Somethin'! You think you're stronger than Rath! Ain't nobody's stronger than Rath!" Said Rath while slamming his fist into the dog's head before he was suddenly lifted off the ground as the dog threw itself around, swinging Rath as it did so.
Until finally, it managed to send Rath flying and crashing through the wall, which the tiger-like alien climbed through not long after while cracking his neck before rushing the dog again.
Back with the others, they'd ended up getting separated with Jiraiya being attacked by the lizard, Taiyang by the mutant hamster, while Tamago, Yang and Ruby were dealing with the bird.
With the girls running from the mutant bird, before it managed to get in close enough to grab Yang in its talons. Making the blonde yelp as she was lifted off the ground while the bird crashed through a skylight.
"Yang!" Ruby exclaimed in worry for her sister before she and Tamago jumped up the shelves and through the skylight, watching the bird fly around while Yang struggled to get free.
"Stupid bird! Let go!" Said Yang while managing to fire a shot at the birds leg, forcing it to let her go, before quickly grabbing hold of the bird leg and climbed on top of it.
"Let's see how you like being grabbed!" Yang said, smirking as she pulled out one of the bird's tailfeathers, with the cockatiel screeching at the loss of a feather before it began flying around wildly to throw Yang off.
"Hey Ruby, those blasters you mentioned wouldn't happen to be done now, would they?" Tamago asked since there wasn't much they could do with the bird in the air.
"They're not finished yet, but they are usable!" Said Ruby before pulling out to large bracers, giving one to Tamago while putting the other on her wrist, with the albino doing the same.
Only to be surprised when the bracers unfolded and covered their hands in large blasters, making Tamago look at Ruby dryly.
"You took these from that game, didn't you." Stated Tamago, seeing how similar they looked to the arm cannon in a video game they played before.
"I couldn't resist, it was too good to pass up!" Ruby said with a grin before aiming her arm cannon at the bird and firing a red energy blast at it, Tamago sighing before she began firing at the bird as well.
'Okay, these are pretty cool.' Tamago thought while smirking, unable to deny that it's awesome to have her own Mega Buster.
Yang held on tightly to the bird to avoid being thrown off, with her quickly ducking under the sudden blasts that were being fired at it. Looking to where it was coming from, Yang was surprised to see Ruby and Tamago with the arm cannons.
'You definitely work fast, don't ya sis.' Thought Yang, seeing Ruby already managed to make weapons for her and Tamago to use.
"Woah!" Yang said in surprise when the bird suddenly took a sharp turn and was now flying straight towards Ruby and Tamago who kept shooting at it, with the change in direction also giving Yang an idea on how to take the bird out.
Sitting up while keeping her grip on the bird, Yang waved to Ruby and Tamago, motioning them to keep firing and then get out of the way.
"What's she doing?!" Ruby asked as she and Tamago kept shooting at the approaching bird, not sure what her sister was doing with her waving.
"I think she's…telling us to get out of the way!" Said Tamago before quickly pushing Ruby out of the way as the bird was now getting dangerously close.
Seeing they'd gotten out of the way, Yang waited until the bird was close enough to the roof and just as it was about to pull up from its dive, the blonde brawler slammed her fist into its head. Firing off a shot as she did so, sending the bird crashing onto the roof and through it.
"Are you alright, Yang?" Tamago asked as she and Ruby looked through the hole at the downed bird, with Yang standing up with a grin on her face.
"That was awesome! And sweet new weapons, nice job with them sis!" Replied Yang, making Ruby smile happily.
"Yep! And they'll be even better once I can make it so Dust can be used as ammo!" Stated Ruby, intending to make it so they can use different kinds of Dust for different elemental affects.
"Before that, let's go find the others." Said Tamago, with Ruby and Yang nodding in agreement as the two younger girls jumped through the hole before they went off to see where Rath, Jiraiya, and Taiyang were.
Meanwhile, Taiyang was dealing with the mutant hamster, ducking under a swipe from its claws before delivering an uppercut to its jaw. Only for the hamster to screech and charge at him, forcing the former Huntsman to roll out of the way.
Slamming his fist into the ground, with the Earth Dust in his gauntlet activating and causing rocks to shoot up from the ground and slam into the hamsters. With the hamster screeching and charging through the rocks, much to Taiyang's surprise as he began running from the mutated rodent.
"Never thought hamsters could be this durable." Taiyang muttered before quickly turning down an aisle, diving out of the way when the hamster broke through while nearly trapping him underneath before he kept running.
Looking around, Taiyang spotted Jiraiya dealing with the lizard before he looked back at the hamster to see it breaking through the shelves to get at him. Seeing a chance to deal with both of the mutants, Taiyang ran towards Jiraiya and got his attention. With Jiraiya ducking under a lunge from the lizard and slammed his foot into its throat before he spotted Taiyang coming towards him with the hamster behind him.
Knowing what he was doing, Jiraiya reached behind him and pulled out a few Lightning Dust Crystals and ran towards Taiyang as well, with the lizard recovering from the strike to its throat and charged after him.
Once the two were close enough, Jiraiya went down to his knees and slid across the floor, cupping his hands together which Taiyang stepped on and leapt over the white-haired man. With Taiyang activating the Fire Dust in one of his gauntlets and shooting a fireball into the lizards mouth. Before slamming his fist down on top of it, activating the Ice Dust encasing most of its body in ice.
While Jiraiya ducked under the hamster as it jumped over him, tossing the Lightning Dust into the air in front of its mouth, making the hamster unintentionally swallow it. Dropping to the ground a moment later as its body spasmed and was electrocuted before slumping down unconscious.
"Reminds you of the old days, doesn't it." Jiraiya stated, standing up and looking at the downed animals with Taiyang nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, but definitely a lot easier to handle than Grimm and aliens. Now let's go see if the kids-." Replied Taiyang, only to be cutoff when the mutant dog came flying at them, forcing them to jump out of the way as it crashed into the hamster and lizard
"And stay down!" Rath shouted before running and jumping on top of the dog, slamming his elbow into its stomach, making the dog yelp before it finally fell unconscious.
"Looks like you guys are done too." Said Tamago as she, Ruby and Yang ran up while seeing that the dog, lizard and hamster were taken care of as well, with the watch symbol beeping and flashing red before Rath turned back into Naruto.
"Yeah, I'm guessing the birds down." Naruto said, with the girls nodding in response.
"Yep, Polly didn't like the cracker I gave it." Yang replied with a smirk.
"Where exactly did you two get those?" Questioned Taiyang while looking at the arm cannons Ruby and Tamago had.
"Well since someone, dad, wouldn't let me take parts from the drones. I went and made my own blasters for me and Tamago to use." Ruby replied while lying through her teeth since they were in fact made from the drone parts she took.
"Let's focus on the fact that Amachi guy managed to get away and is still planning something." Said Jiraiya, with the others nodding in agreement before they paid for what they'd gotten, while managing to get a nice discount for helping to save the store from being completely destroyed, before they quickly returned to the Rust Bucket.
*Later*
"Heh, this is just like the old days…before we retired." Jiraiya stated as they began searching for where Amachi could have gone, reminiscing about when he and Taiyang were still on active duty.
"Definitely, its actually makes me miss the excitement." Replied Taiyang, enjoying the chance to stretch his legs again, with Naruto, Tamago, Yang, and Ruby looking at them with raised brows, with the albino looking away from her laptop and the ravenette looking up from working on their Mega Busters to use Dust as ammunition.
"Weren't you guys already retired as Huntsmen and became plumbers by the time you started working with each other?" Questioned Naruto in confusion.
Given the fact that Jiraiya had already been a plumber before Taiyang had retired from being a Huntsman and was taken under his wing alongside Naruto's and Tamago's parents. Something that had always confused Ruby and Yang, wondering why their father would want to be a plumber. But figured he must've gotten injured or tired from fighting Grimm all the time, plus having to raise them as well.
"Yeah. Exactly what kind of plumbers were you that anything exciting would happen?" Yang asked, making Jiraiya and Taiyang trade a look before looking at the four.
"Damn good ones!" The two replied, while mentally laughing at their expressions, making the kids shake their heads while Tamago looked at her laptop, having been trying to find any information about Amachi.
Doubting a guy capable of mutating animals like that would go unnoticed, and to see if they can figure out where he was.
"I got something!" Tamago said, getting everyone's attention.
"Did you find anything on that Amachi guy?" Questioned Ruby, with the white-haired girl nodding in response.
"Yeah, I did. Five year ago, Dr. Amachi was a promising researcher in veterinary science and gene splicing. But it was later revealed that he'd been performing some pretty twisted and unethical genetic experiments on animals and even people, trying to splice the DNA of humans with animals, like he was trying to create artificial Faunus. After he was exposed, he just vanished and no one's seen him since, until now apparently." Tamago explained, much to their shock and disgust.
"Well it looks like the good doctors back and planning something. But what exactly?" Jiraiya said with a frown, with uncomfortable memories being brought to the front of his mind at hearing what Amachi was doing.
"He did say something about making "pre-history", whatever that means." Said Yang, with Naruto's eyes widening at realizing where Amachi was going.
"The Natural History Museum! That's where he's going!" Naruto said, making everyone's eyes widen at this.
"He's trying to bring back extinct animals!" Said Taiyang in shock and disbelief that Amachi would try doing something that dangerous.
"If it was someone less crazy and dangerous, I'd say that'd be awesome." Ruby said with wide eyes, unable to deny it'd be awesome to see living dinosaurs, but knew that under Amachi's control they'd be incredibly dangerous.
Knowing they needed to hurry, Jiraiya began driving faster to reach the museum before Amachi could create even more mutated monsters.
*Later*
It wasn't long before the group arrived at the museum, finding the empty boxes of the electronics that Amachi had stolen outside before rushing in. Where they found the mad scientist putting the finishing touches on his Transmodulator in front of a mammoth exhibit.
"You all are very persistent. I hate persistence!" Amachi stated before turning to face the group, who glared at him.
"We know about you and your experiments, Amachi, it's over. Give up now or else." Said Jiraiya, only for Amachi to smirk.
"On the contrary, it's only just begun. With the newest improvements I've made to my Transmodulator, I can put my work into phase two. The reanimation of dead cells. Observe." Said Amachi before turning the dial and blasting the mammoth, causing its eyes to light up as it came to life letting out a bellow, while the groups eyes widened in shock that he really brought a dead animal back to life
Before they quickly jumped out of the way as the mammoth charged at them while Amachi quickly escaped towards his real destination, the dinosaur exhibit.
"You guys go after Amachi, I'll deal with Dumbo!" Said Naruto while pressing the watched button and cycled through the aliens, settling on Wildvine and figuring it'd be better to restrain the mammoth rather than try to fight it, before slamming the dial down and transformed into the plant-like alien.
With Wildvine leaping at the mammoth, landing on top of the revived creature and wrapped his vine legs around it while his arms extended to wrap around its tusks. With the mammoth bellowing at this before it began thrashing around to throw him off.
"Sorry big guy, but you can't get rid of me that easily. Now, let's go for a ride!" Wildvine said before he began forcibly steering the mammoth around and crashing it into walls to knock it out.
While the others had chased after Amachi towards the dinosaur exhibit, only to be stopped when the mutant snake burst through the wall and lunged at them. With Tamago acting quickly and grabbing a spear from the caveman exhibit, forcing it into the snakes mouth when it tried swallowing her.
"Woah!" Tamago said when the snake threw its head up, pulling her along with it as she held onto the spear, before she activate her arm cannon but couldn't get a clean shot with the snake swinging her around.
The sight make Ruby speed forward onto the snake, activating her own arm cannon and loaded Ice Dust into it before firing at the snake, causing patches of ice to form along its body. While Yang jumped to the snakes head, grabbing hold of it before shooting at the snakes eyes. Though the sudden cold and being blinded by the shots only made the snake thrash around even more. With the three girls desperately trying to hold on, before Tamago found herself flung into the air.
Seeing the snake lunge up to devour her, Tamago quickly pulled out a Fire Dust Crystal, but rather than load it into her arm cannon, she threw it into the snakes open mouth and took aim.
"Jump!" Tamago said to Yang and Ruby, with the sisters doing so at seeing what she was about to do, before the albino fired a blast at the crystal once it was in the snakes mouth.
The blast causing the crystal to explode inside the snake, making it hiss in pain before collapsing to the ground, dead from the flames.
Nodding at the girls for their teamwork, they continued on their way to the dinosaur exhibit only to find Amachi already inside by the T-Rex skeleton. The doctor smirked at them before blasting the T-Rex skeleton, with the group looking on in shock as skin formed and wrapped around the skeleton, leaving only a few bare patches exposing the bone. Before an eye lit up in the previously empty eye socket as the now resurrected T-Rex roared loudly and charged at the group, who quickly moved out of the way.
"Oh man, if it wasn't trying to kill us, this would be so awesome!" Yang said while firing some shots at the T-Rex before ducking down when it swung its tail at her.
"I know! We're fighting a real-life T-Rex!" Said Ruby as she loaded Gravity Dust into her arm cannon shooting blasts of gravity at the dinosaur, excited at the chance to fight a T-Rex.
"Less talky, more shooty!" Tamago said, loading some Ice Dust into her own arm cannon and firing a blast of ice at the ground, covering it in a layer of ice that'd hopefully trip up the T-Rex.
The T-Rex roared as it charged the girls, only to be knocked aside when several rocks shot up from the ground from Taiyang's gauntlets, giving Jiraiya the chance to jump up on top of the dinosaur.
"Hope you're hungry!" Said Jiraiya, pulling out several Dust Crystals which he threw into the T-Rex's mouth, only to be shocked when nothing happened before he was thrown off the dinosaurs back against the wall.
"Okay, wasn't expecting that." Jiraiya muttered, not thinking the dinosaur wouldn't be affected by Dust before he quickly jumped out of the way when the T-Rex charged towards him.
With Tamago firing blasts at the T-Rex's feet encasing them in ice, managing to hold it in place for a few moments, giving Ruby and Yang the chance to shoot at it. This also giving Taiyang the chance to run up and activated the Water Dust shooting jets of water at the T-Rex.
"Girls! Shock it!" Taiyang said before moving back, just as the T-Rex broke free from the ice, roaring loudly in anger as it moved to attack them, with Tamago and Ruby quickly switching to Lightning Dust.
Shooting the dinosaur with blasts of electricity, they were able to deal some damage to it as it roared in pain as it was electrocuted, with the water only intensifying the electricity.
'I've got to get some ammo like that.' Yang thought, wanting to get Dust-filled shells for Ember Celica, seeing how useful they'd be, before she shot at the T-Rex's eyes to blind it.
The sight making Amachi scowl that they may actually be able to take his creation down, before he looked around at all the other exhibits, making him smirk.
"Well, if you don't like the T-Rex, let's see how you like a pack of raptors!" Said Amachi, turning the dial on his chest before blasting the Velociraptor display containing five raptor skeletons that soon came alive, with the pack growled and jumped off the display.
"Or perhaps you'd prefer a Carnotaurus!" Amachi said while blasting a Carnotaurus skeleton, bringing it to life as well.
The groups eyes widened at the sight of all the revived dinosaurs now surrounding them, moving back as the raptors moved in closer, with Yang shooting one of them when it lunged. This setting off the other pack members as they all rushed the group.
"Okay, this is starting to get less cool and more terrifying!" Ruby stated before shooting blasts of electricity at the raptors, with Tamago quickly switch to Fire Dust and unleashing a stream of flames that pushed them back.
"We've gotta deal with Amachi, if we can destroy that device, we may be able to reverse what he did." Said Jiraiya, mentally cursing that he didn't have any of his old equipment on him or his uniform.
"Easier said than done!" Taiyang said while punching a raptor in the face before grabbing another's jaws when they got too close, gritting his teeth as he held it back from tearing into him.
"Hey! Back off lizard-face!" Said Yang, shooting the raptor right in the head, only to be shocked when even after blowing part of its face off it still didn't die before backpedaling when it tried swiping at her, only to be thrown back by a punch from Taiyang.
"Oh great, zombie dinosaurs! Except these ones don't have brains to shoot!" Yang said before crying out when the Carnotaurus slammed its tail into her, sending the blonde girl crashing into a wall before roaring as it charged at her.
Luckily, before the Carnotaurus could reach Yang, the mammoth crashed through the wall and into the revived dinosaur. Crushing it, while Wildvine looked around in surprise at the dinosaurs.
"You okay Yang?" Wildvine asked as Yang stood up with her hair flaming and her eyes turning red.
"I'm pissed." Stated Yang before shouting and rushing a raptor, slamming her fist into its chest followed by an uppercut that knocked into the air.
"Well let me see if I can help even the odds!" Said Wildvine, growing vines out of his body that began forcing the mammoth to move while he grabbed the black pods on his back and threw them at the T-Rex and Carnotaurus.
With the pods exploding in their faces, disorienting the dinosaurs before he grabbed more pods and threw them at their feet. These pods exploding into multiple vines which grew and wrapped around both the T-Rex and Carnotaurus. Wildvine threw a few more, ensuring they were fully restrained before turning his attention to the raptors.
"Get them all together!" Wildvine said, with the group nodding as they began forcing the raptors into a group.
Once they were all in a single group, Wildvine grabbed some more pods and prepared to throw them to blow the raptors into pieces, doubting they could survive that. Only to cry out when something slammed into the mammoth, knocking it over and crushing him. The Florauna grunting as he managed to pull himself out from the under the mammoth, his eye widening at seeing a Triceratops that had rammed the mammoth.
"I hope you don't mind; I invited a few new guests to this little party." Said Amachi with a smirk, having revived the Triceratops along with a Stegosaurus, a Dracorex, and a Ankylosaurus.
The sight shocking the group that they now had to deal with even more dinosaurs, while the Velociraptors had recovered and growled angrily at them.
"You guys deal with the raptors; I've got these ones!" Said Wildvine, shooting out multiple vines at the Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Dracorex.
Only for the smaller dinosaur to avoid getting grabbed before bellowing and charging Wildvine, slamming it head into the plant-like alien. With Wildvine grunting in pain as he was slammed into the wall, before managing to ensnare the Dracorex and throw it to the side. Jumping out of the way when the Triceratops charged at him, wrapping his vines around a pillar to pull himself high up off the ground.
But before he could do anything, the Ankylosaurus bellowed and rammed right through the pillar, sending Wildvine crashing back to the ground with the pillar landing on top of him. Then to the others shock and horror, the Dracorex bit down on Wildvine's head and ripped it off.
"Naruto!" Tamago screamed in horror, thinking her brother had just been killed.
Only for them to be further shocked when Wildvine's headless body punched the Dracorex, knocking it back, before throwing the destroyed pillar off. With them being relieved when his head regrew, not a moment later.
"I'm okay! I'm okay, I can apparently regenerate too, including my head which is reall-AH!" Wildvine shouted when the Ankylosaurus ripped off his arm and ate it, before Wildvine jumped back and threw an exploding pod at the Ankylosaurus.
"Okay! That is the last-DAMNIT!" Yelled Wildvine when the Stegosaurus rammed into him and began eating his body before it was ensnared in vines and thrown against a wall.
"I swear, if any of you do that again, I am gonna-OH GO TO HELL!" Wildvine screamed as the Triceratops charged him and bit down on one of his legs, knocking him off balance before the Dracorex jumped on top of the alien and ate his head again.
With the others seeing that he wasn't in any actual danger with his regeneration and focused back on dealing with the raptors. Ruby and Tamago soon switched to Ice Dust and shooting at the raptors legs to incase them in ice.
"Shoot their legs! Even if it won't kill them, they won't be able to attack if they can't move!" Said Ruby, with Yang doing just that, shooting at the raptors legs and shattering them, with Taiyang doing the same using the Lightning Dust to fire blasts of electricity that destroyed the raptors legs.
It wasn't long before all the raptors were incapacitated, unable to move much with their legs being destroyed though still attempted to reach the group. They then turned to Wildvine, only to see him unleash a large amount of spiked vines on the herbivores, tearing through their bodies. Before he then pulled off several pods and threw them at the dinosaurs.
"Eat this you stupid, overgrown, lizards!" Wildvine shouted, throwing multiple pods that either exploded or created vines that ensnared the dinosaurs, angry at them for constantly eating his body and not stopping until they were all wrapped in cocoons of vines.
Panting heavily, Wildvine then looked at the dial on his chest when it started beeping and flashing red, until he soon transformed back into Naruto.
"You okay bro?" Tamago asked while seeing if there was any damage from him getting eaten by the dinosaurs, but didn't see even a scratch.
"Yeah, yeah I'm good." Replied Naruto, with the others nodding at this before turning to Amachi.
"It's over Amachi, your mutant monsters are down and you're out of material." Taiyang said, only for the mad scientist to still smirk at them.
"On the contrary, you didn't deal with all of my pets." Amachi stated before the group tensed as they heard roaring from the T-Rex and Carnotaurus, their eyes widening at seeing they'd managed to break free from the vines and charged at the group, forcing them to move out of the way.
With Amachi mentally commanding the Carnotaurus to deal with Naruto, believing the boy is a bigger threat if he's able to transform into aliens, while the T-Rex dealt with everyone else. Leading the T-Rex to swing its tail at the group, forcing them to duck down to avoid being hit. Only for Naruto to cry out as the Carnotaurus rammed its head into him, sending the whiskered blonde crashing against a wall.
"Naruto!" Tamago, Yang and Ruby yelled in worry, before they were forced to turn back to face the T-Rex as it roared at them.
While Naruto grunted in pain as his Aura flared around him with it having absorbed most of the damage before his eyes widened as the Carnotaurus rushed him again. The Uzumaki cursing as he dived out of the way, looking around for anything he could use as a weapon. Only to grit his teeth, biting back a scream when the Carnotaurus swung its tail, sending him skidding the across the floor. The dinosaur rushing Naruto and stomped its foot on top of him before he could escape again, roaring loudly at its captured prey.
Only for it to be shot at by Tamago, Ruby, and Yang, while Jiraiya and Taiyang fought the T-Rex, with the Carnotaurus roaring at them in anger. Before its anger turned into pain when Ruby managed to shoot it in the eye.
"Kill him! Kill him now you stupid beast!" Shouted Amachi, wanting the Carnotaurus to kill Naruto already, enforcing his command on the revived animal.
The Carnotaurus roaring again as it went to devour Naruto, who's eyes widened in fear until he was surprised when he saw the watched suddenly turn green despite just timing out.
'I'm not complaining!' Thought Naruto, quickly pressing the button and slamming the dial back down, not caring what alien he turned into, just any would save him from not getting eaten.
With the green flash catching everyone's attention, with the group being surprised to see Feedback holding back the Carnotaurus from eating him.
"Didn't he just transform though?" Taiyang said, looking at Jiraiya, wondering how Naruto could transform so soon.
"There's still a lot we don't know about that watch, let's just be thankful it seems to wanna keep the kid alive." Stated Jiraiya, with Taiyang nodding in agreement before they quickly moved out of the way to avoid getting devoured by the T-Rex.
While Feedback slowly managed to free himself from under the Carnotaurus' foot before flipping in the air and onto the dinosaurs back.
"You wanted to eat me, then I hope I don't mind I do the same to you!" Feedback said before stabbing the conductors on his tail, antennae, and fingers into the Carnotaurus, which roared as it began thrashing around to throw him off as the alien began absorbing the energy from it.
Amachi's eyes widening in shock and horror as the Carnotaurus seemed to be growing weaker and weaker, until the skin broke away, leaving only the skeleton behind as Feedback absorbed the last of its energy. The mad scientist mentally cursing before looking around and spotted a pterodactyl skeleton hanging from the ceiling. Knowing it'd be best for him to escape now, Amachi turned the dial and blasted the pterodactyl.
"Looks like you can absorb energy from living creatures too." Tamago stated in amazement.
"Man, this guy can really give the greatest shockers!" Said Yang with a grin, while Feedback grinned had the energy he absorbed.
"He's definitely becoming one of my favorite aliens with what he can do! And all that energy I took, I know exactly what I'm gonna do with it! Hey Rexy!" Said Feedback before shooting electricity from his fingers, launching him straight towards the T-Rex getting the last dinosaurs attention.
"Long live the king! Electro Gun!" Feedback said before firing a large blast of electricity at the T-Rex, vaporizing a good portion of its body, and destroying the skeleton along with it, causing the remains to collapse into pieces, making the others smile at seeing all the dinosaurs have been dealt with.
"Nice work kid, but it's not over yet. We still have to-where'd he go?!" Said Jiraiya, looking around only to see Amachi was nowhere in sight before they heard the sound of glass breaking and looked up, seeing Amachi had revived a pterodactyl to escape.
"He's getting away!" Said Tamago as she, Ruby and Yang began shooting Amachi, but he was out of their range.
"No he isn't!" Said Feedback, firing electricity from his hands again and launching himself into the air towards Amachi, who scowled at the sight of him being pursued.
"You may've stopped my creations today, boy! But this is just the beginning and until then, I leave a parting gift! Let's see your little friends can handle a mutated alien!" Amachi said, turning the dial and firing a blast at Feedback to mutate him as well, with the alien moving his antennae and absorbed the energy from the Transmodulator.
"And let's see how you like a taste of your own medicine!" Feedback retorted before flying faster towards the mad scientist before shooting a blast of electricity straight at him, throwing Amachi back off the pterodactyl, screaming as he plummeted to the ground.
Only to be saved by Feedback grabbing him, ripping his helmet off before throwing it into the air and blasting it, causing a wave of energy to emit out. Reversing all the mutations created by it, with Feedback watching as the pterodactyl turned back into a skeleton with the bones shattering onto the ground.
"I'm sure they'll have a nice, padded cell waiting for you, doc. Until then, nighty night." Said Feedback, slamming his fist into Amachi's face, knocking him out.
Flying back to the museum, Feedback saw the rest of the dinosaurs had also returned to simple skeletons, with the others running up to him.
"Nice job Naruto, I'm sure everyone will feel a lot safer having this guy locked up rather than free to create even more mutant freaks." Said Taiyang, glad they were able to stop Amachi.
"No kidding." Jiraiya said, looking at Amachi with a frown, given the fact he was able to make such a dangerous device like that just from regular electronic devices, it relieved him that they stopped him from escaping to gain even more resources and potentially perfecting the resurrection process.
"Yeah. But it is a shame it's in the hands of whack job, this thing would be pretty cool otherwise." Stated Feedback, taking the chest dial off of Amachi, grinning at getting a souvenir from taking down his first bad guy.
"Uh, guys?! I think we have a problem!" Yang said, getting Feedback, Jiraiya and Taiyang's attention as they saw the Ruby and Tamago standing over something.
Rushing over, they saw the girls were standing by the Velociraptor display, looking down at a fossilized egg with wide eyes. With their eyes widening as well when they saw the egg actually moving.
"Did that just…" Taiyang said in shock, not believing what they just saw.
"Don't tell me…" Muttered Jiraiya shaking his head.
"I…think that guy zapped more than just the skeletons." Said Tamago watching as the egg shook a few more times before it cracked open.
"I'm guessing that since it was still an egg and not an actually living creature yet, the Transmodulator's destruction must've had no effect on it. Meaning that it wasn't turned back into a fossil, like the others." Feedback speculated as that was the only conclusion he could come to for this.
The group watching as the egg cracked open, revealing a baby raptor inside before more of the shell broke away, fully revealing it. Showing the raptor was primarily greenish-black with a metallic green streak running from the base of the neck to its tail, while having deep green eyes. The raptor broke free from the egg and tried walking only to end stumbling, letting out a few chirp-like growls before looking around at the group around it.
"It's…SO CUTE!" Ruby squealed before scooping up the raptor and hugging it tightly.
"Ooooh, I can't believe it! A real baby raptor and it is the cutest thing ever!" Said Ruby, grinning widely while nuzzling the raptor, who chirped and squirmed at the tight hold.
"Uh, sis, you may wanna loosen up a bit before it snaps." Yang said, making Ruby stop and loosen her grip on the baby dinosaur.
"Oh right, sorry. But how can you not want to hold it forever and ever!" Ruby said while looking at the raptor, who tilted its head at the ravenette.
"Maybe you should put the raptor down Ruby, we don't know if it's dangerous since it was made by Amachi's device. We should probably hand it over to someone who'd be better suited to deal with it." Said Taiyang, looking at the raptor warily, not wanting a potentially dangerous and lethal animal like that around his daughters.
"Well it certainly doesn't look dangerous. And it is pretty cute." Said Tamago while petting the raptor lightly on the head, who chirped softly and nuzzled into her head.
"I bet it'd be able to even take down Grimm once it's bigger. Now that'd be awesome." Feedback stated with a grin, imagining having a raptor helping them kill Grimm, with Yang soon grinning and looking at the raptor.
"When you put it like that, that would be awesome! I bet even the Grimm would be terrified at seeing Huntsmen and Huntresses riding in on a raptor to kill them!" Yang said, liking the idea of riding the fully-grown raptor against the Grimm.
"Woah, woah, woah! You aren't actually thinking of keeping that thing?!" Jiraiya said in disbelief that they were actually considering keeping the raptor.
"And why not? It'd be nice having a pet and if we have to deal with more lunatics, like Amachi or hostile aliens, it'd be nice having it with us for more help." Said Feedback, with the girls nodding in agreement while Tamago smirked and pulled out her Scroll.
"Plus, I'm sure mom wouldn't mind us bringing home a pet. I could even call her right now and tell her everything that's happened. Unless you two are okay with it and we'll just let her see for herself once summer it's over." Tamago said, causing Jiraiya and Taiyang to turn deathly pale.
"Th-th-tha-that's not a choice!" Said Taiyang, knowing that either way, Kushina would kill them once she learns what's happened and what will likely happen over the course of the summer.
"Yes it is. The choice being that I either tell mom right now, in which case you both should start planning your wills, or wait until we go back home, where you'll have more time to think of ways to survive or at the very least buy yourselves more time." Said Tamago with a smirk, as both men looked at her in shock and disbelief.
"…You're evil." Jiraiya muttered, not thinking Tamago would actually do that.
"Nope, I'm just my mother's daughter." Tamago stated victoriously, while Jiraiya and Taiyang lowered their heads in defeat.
"Just…just make sure it doesn't tear everything apart in the Rust Bucket." Said Taiyang, while the kids cheered at getting to keep the raptor.
"Welcome to the road trip, uh…Viridian!" Said Ruby while smiling at the name, choosing it after the green streak and the raptors eye color, with the now named Viridian chirping happily.
*Timeskip-One Day*
After the police arrived and apprehended Amachi, the group returned to the Rust Bucket to get some rest before they headed out the next day.
"This is certainly one way to kick off the road trip. Fighting mutant animals, zombie dinosaurs and helping take down a mad scientist. Along with getting a new pet." Tamago said while sitting across from Naruto.
"Don't forget these sweet game consoles!" Said Yang as she and Ruby were playing one of the consoles they'd gotten while Viridian stood on Ruby's shoulder.
"And getting a sweet souvenir." Naruto added with a smile while putting the Transmodulator chest piece inside a box, which also had a piece of the large drone he destroyed.
"I'll admit, you kids did a good job taking down Amachi. But don't get used to all the excitement, this is still meant to be a regular road trip and we're not going to encountering trouble everywhere we go." Jiraiya said, with Taiyang nodding in agreement.
"He's right, let's all try to enjoy the relaxation and seeing the sights." Added Taiyang, making the kids look at them blankly before laughing loudly.
All of them agreeing that the excitement was only just beginning, especially now that Jiraiya and Taiyang had just jinxed things, as they drove out of Vermiddia City.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see a familiar start to the chapter, with naruto using Big Chill to save people from a burning building and stopping some thieves, before we then see Amachi instead of Animo working on mutated animals and hybrids, along with having a mysterious benefactor. Then we see the group shopping, though unlike Ben, Naruto doesn't trash an aisle looking for a trading card while him and the girls get a bunch of game consoles (these'll be playing a surprising a part much later on) before Amachi arrives on a mutant snake leading to Naruto turning into Rath before he and the others deal with the mutated animals Amachi creates to cover his escape. Afterwards we see the group going after Amachi to the museum where he revives several dinosaurs with Naruto turning into Wildvine to restrain them, along with a comedic scene of him getting eaten by herbivores and regenerating, until the watch times out and he's nearly eaten, luckily the watch immediately reactivates in response to the danger and Naruto turns into Feedback and defeats the dinosaurs and captures Amachi. Finally we see he hit more than just the skeletons as a raptor egg hatches and we get the introduction of Viridian, the RWBY Rex (a non-canon character)! So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
