Spyro and Cynder were next to each other still asleep. It was morning and the birds were singing their songs. Spyro woke up yawning but made sure to try and not wake Cynder. Spyro began to stretch and walked around the floating island. He still was not used to this."I wonder how everyone is going to feel about this... I hope we will be able to get used to this…" Behind him Cynder began to wake up. Cynder got up and walked to Spyro.

"Morning Spyro…" Cynder yawned. She looked down the island. "It's incredible how our world has changed…" Cynder looked down at the abyss. "I wonder where it goes.." Cynder wondered. Spyro nodded.

"Well I for one dont want to find out." Spyro commented. This made Cynder giggle. "Spyro turned to Cyner. "So are you going to stay with us… at Warfang...? I mean I know you still blame yourself but i'm sure people will understand..." Said Spyro. Cynder looked down. Spyro couldn't tell if she was sad or was thinking of her answer. Cynder turned to Spyro.

"I will make that decision when I get there for now, it's a yes..." Spyro smiled, happy to know his best friend would be coming with him. "Im just not sure if everyone will accept me…" Cynder said sadly.

"Cynder… that was 6 years ago and… it wasn't you… I'm sure people will understand… maybe Terrador told people about you." Spyro said with hope in his voice. Cyber looked away. She knew he might be right but she was still scared.

"So should we start heading to Warfang?" Cynder asked Spyro.

"Yes… they need to know that we are alive and…" Spyro looked down. "What happened…" Spyro couldn't help but remember Ignitus. Cynder nuzzled him hoping to cheer him up.

"Spryo... Ignitus wouldnt want you to blame yourself over his death..." Cynder told the sad purple dragon..."

"Come on let's go…" Spyro said not repsonding to Cynder. Cynder looked down and then flew up as Spyro did the two dragons looked at each other and started to fly off to Warfang.

In Warfang Sparx the Dragonfly was sitting on the city's walls looking through the distance hoping to see his brother. Sparx sighed. "Come on please…" Sparx never stopped thinking about Spyro the Dragonfly would sit on the city's walls and wait hoping to see Spyro. Sparx sighed then flew up. "I need some sleep…" His stomach growled. "Ok and maybe some butterflies." Sparx was about to leave when he saw a dragon approaching the gate to Warfang. "Spyro?" Sparx asked himself. Sparx flew down fast hoping it was Spyro but instead it was a gray dragon. Sparx had learned all the dragon elements thanks to the guardians and believed it was a wind dragon but… this dragon seemed more of a… dark gray. The dragon looked up at the dragonfly and smiled

"Hello there young dragonfly… you must be Sparx." The dragon replied in an old deep voice. His voice was deep but was calming the dragon was old and seemed to be about Ignitus's age.

"Uh hey… gramps… uh who are you and how do you know my name?" Sparx asked. The old dragon chuckled.

"My name is Sameon." The dragon took a bow. "Who wouldn't know who you are? You're the step brother of Spyro the purple dragon.

"It's about time I got recognition." Sparx said grinning. "So what brings you here Gramps?" Sparx asked. Sameon turned to the gates.

"I am here to speak to the guardians." Sameon answered.

"Oh want me to bring you to them?" Sparx asked. Sameon shook his head.

"No. I know my way around." Sameon replied. Sparx couldnt help but feel like something was off about this dragon.

Spyro and Cynder were flying through the clouds heading towards Warfang. The two dragons flew side by side talking to each other about what they should do when they get back. "I wonder how Sparx is gonna react to me coming back." Spryo asked himself.

"He's probably gonna complain about the world becoming an entire world of floating islands then blame me probably." Cynder responded laughing. Spyro nodded smiling.

"He's gonna warm up to you eventually." Spyro responded. Cynder responded by rolling her eyes.

"Yeah right Cynder." Cynder said sarcastically. Spyro turned his head to Cyner.

"Cynder, I mean it." Cynder rolled her eyes again. Spyro decided to brush it off for now. The two noticed that the sun was setting. "It's getting late, we need to find a place to land." Spyro said to Cyner. Cynder nodded and the two landed on a floating island that housed a giant forest. The two dragons flew down ready to land. Cynder landed gracefully but Spyro slammed into the ground and rolled into a tree. "Owwww…" Spyro groaned. Cynder laughed and she walked over and helped him up. Spyro took her hand and lifted himself up. There two maws were almost touching when Spyro got up. Spyro jumped away blushing. "S-sorry... I uh…" Spyro said nervously in fear. Cynder giggled and walked up to him.

"It's ok purple boy… let's just get some sleep." Spyro looked down knowing it was gonna be cold.

"I wish I had my fire element right now…" Spyro said, complaining.

"Spyro don't worry we'll be fine it's not that cold." Cynder replied. Spyro looked down.

"It's not me i'm worried about…" Spyro replied. Cynder turned to him.

"Spyro you don't need to worry about me. I'm fine. I don't need constant protection. You know I can handle myself." Cynder said with a bit of annoyance in her voice. She liked that Spyro cared about her and her well being but she knew that she could protect herself just fine. Cynder lied down and pulled Spyro by her.

"Cynder wah-!" Spyro was shocked by the black dragon's actions.

"Come on if you really wanna keep me warm then this is how." Cynder said. Cynder lied her head down by Spyro and closed her eyes. "Just relax and sleep…" Cynder whispered half asleep. Spyro smiled and softly stroked Cynders head. This made the dragoness smile in her sleep which made Spyro smile even more. Spyro laid his head down next to Cynders. Before he went to sleep he wrapped his wing around her hoping it would keep her even warmer. He got close to Cynders ear and whispered.

"One day Cynder… Sparx wont see you as the Terror of the Skies… he will see you as his sister…" Spyro closed his eyes and listened to the crickets until he drifted off to sleep.

Sameon was walking down the streets of Warfang looking around smiling. The moon lit up the streets and allowed just enough light to see the names of houses and shops. Someone walked very silently. It seemed like he didn't disturb the peace. He seemed happy. Sparx was following him mostly because he had nothing else to do. "Soooooo… were you born here?" Sparx asked, trying to start a conversation. Sameon shaked his head, chuckling to himself.

"No no I'm not that old Sparx. I have lived here since I was Spyros' age. Way before the war…" Sparx couldn't help stare at the dragon. He seemed off. His color was completely different from any dragon he had seen.

"So are you a wind dragon?" Sparx asked. Someone stopped walking and turned to the dragonfly. A chill ran down Sparx's back he instantly regretted asking him. Sameon smiled and shook his head saying nothing and continued walking down to the temple. Sparx whipped sweat off his forehead. "Man who knew gramps was creepy…" Sparx mumbled. Sparx and Sameon continued walking in silence until they finally reached the temple. Sameon looked at the door and smiled.

"So many memories…" Sameon whispered. Sameon pushed the doors open and went in before Sparx could say anything.

"H-hey wait!" Sparx yelled. But Sameon seemed to ignore him and continued walking inside. Sparx flew in after him. "Hey stop! You aren't supposed to be in here unless you get permission!" Sparx yelled at him but Sameon kept walking down the hall until he reached a door and walked in. The door had a sign over it reading "Guardians Chamber." Sparx got even more frustrated, afraid of what Terrador might do to him if he let an unknown dragon just walk into the temple. Sparx flew past the door and stopped by Sameon who seemed to be looking at 3 very familiar dragons Volteer, Cyril, and Terrador. The 3 guardians were arguing loudly over something that Sparx didn't seem to understand. Sameon coughed into his hand which got the guardians attention. As the guardians turned their faces turned to shock. "S-Sameon…" Terrador said in complete shock.
