Well, folks. It's the final part of the Dolphin Keys arc. It's been a long time for me and I'll be glad to get that out the way for I got a little pooped from it. That's the reason why I've neglected the Captain Hurricane series last year for brainstorming ideas for a vacation arc was something else. ======Chapter 28: Soaking Finale=====
And so our heroes are on their last day on the island, Dolphin Keys before heading back to Metropolis. What better way than to spend it at a water park not too far from the resort. The park was outdoors filled with attractions that was fun for everyone. Zee beamed at the group of teens composing of Hunter, Billy, Kara, Doris, Leslie, Diana, Karen and some of the others.
"This park is so awesome that my father gave us some bracelets for entrance and rides! Be sure not to lose them.", Zee warned as most of the group had theirs on. Hunter looked at the very tall skyscraper like ride with an evil grin. Doris deadpanned at Hunter's evil smile as she rolls her eyes.
"What's this idiot smiling like that for?", Doris asked as Karen observed for a moment. However, she frowned spotting the gamer gaze at the ride dubbed the Widowmaker.
"Are you crazy?! No way in heck am I going on that ride with you! Not after what happened at Sparkle Palace!", Karen yelled with Diana crossing her arms, Kara smirking, Dirk facepalming and Leslie and Harley feeling good about the ride. Zee had an idea that would satisfy everyone.
"To prevent Hunter from sending us to an early grave, we're going to be in groups. That way, we all at least be in one piece.", Zee teased much to Hunter's dismay.
"Oh why you gotta go there? Well suit yourselves.", Hunter said with Lobo standing beside the gamer.
"I say this group here is all bros on this trip. Any volunteers?", the Zarnian smirked. The remaining boys being Billy, Freddie, Dirk and Kurt made up One group while the second group composed of Leslie, Doris, Selina, Barbie, Pam and Harley with the third group being the Superhero Girls. Zee smiled as she was satisfied with the choice of groups.
"Very well. We'll meet right at the spot here at the entrance. And boys, behave yourselves and stay out of trouble!", the magician warned. Freddie and Dirk gulped at the four boys laughing foolishly knowing they'll do the Opposite. Pam then rolled her eyes at the four boys and whispered to Selina.
"Something tells me that those boys are gonna be in a heap of trouble.", the plant lover noted as Selina nodded.
"Yeah. And I won't bail them out either.", Selina noted as Pam and the catgirl went on with their business.
=====With the Superhero Girls======
The girls were searching around the park for something to do as Babs pointed to a giant bucket area. The ginger pointed at It getting the group's attention.
"How about this One?! Let's go over there and try It Out. I'm ready to get soaked!", Babs beamed. Jessica gulped at the idea as Did Karen for they knew what the ride was about.
"Are you sure about this, Babs? That's a Lot of water in that bucket.", Jessica wondered. Babs assured the group of the matter as they head towards the attraction.
"Relax, Jess. If we can fight danger on a regular basis. Then this bucket can't stop us now.", Babs chirped. Diana grinned enthusiastically eager to try this ride out.
"Babs is right, sisters! It would take more than a silly bucket to take us out. Who's with us?!", Diana asked as Kara smirked.
"I'm game. Let's bring it.",, the Kryptonian signed on. Tatsu shrugged agreeing to the idea while Jessica and Zee agreed also. Karen feeling outnumbered decided to join In on Babs's idea of fun.
As soon as the line grew short did the girls show the attendant their passes and were guided to a giant platform for them to stand over. As soon as the gate closed did Karen gulped.
"Um, Babs? How does this work again?", she asked the excited ginger as Babs asked with a smile.
"Ever watched Slime Time Live? Well, It's the same thing but with water.", Babs answered as Karen remembered the legendary Nickelodeon show from years ago. Tatsu heard the water go up to the giant bucket and warned the others.
"Girls, the water's filling up. Get ready.", Tatsu said as the countdown is ready to go.
"Drenching in T-minus 10, 9, 8,7—"
"It's coming. Babs, why did you pick this one?!", Zee gulped regretting agreeing to the ginger's wacky suggestion of an idea.
"6, 5, 4—"
"Poseidon, have mercy on me.", Diana squeaked.
"3,2—"
"Oh dios mio! Here it goes!", Jessica quivered.
"1, 0!"
BEEP!
The beep sounded Off with the giant bucket dumping a ton Of water drenching the girls as they screamed. All of the girls were at the mercy of the bucket getting them more than wet. It lasted a bit longer until all the water was finished drenching them from head to toe. The attendant smiled and escorted all of the girls out of the ride perimeter before closing the exit gate.
The ladies looked disheveled in the hair thanks to the water. However, they laughed their asses off enjoying the ride that Babs chose.
"I got to admit that it was so refreshing. It is like Slime Time Live!", Karen said changing her tune. Babs grinned at the response proud of her choice.
"Glad to hear! Now that the ride is over, what's next?", Babs asked.
"There's a lot to do here on this map. Oh! There's a bumper boat area, a surfing simulator, or a Twisting Tornado nearby.", the magician told the group of the nearby attractions to try out. Karen voiced her opinion of the bumper boats nearby.
"I pick the bumper boats. They don't seem so bad.", the bee girl meekly chose. Tatsu nodded at the agreement of Karen's choice.
"Bumper boats doesn't seem so bad. Maybe we should have a change of pace.", the swordswoman quipped much to Kara's impatient nature.
"I say we go on that Twisting Tornado! Now that's a good change of pace.", Kara protested only for Jessica to join In.
"Surfing Simulator is a balance of Karen and Kara's ideas of fun. Why don't we go over there instead?", the Lantern tried to suggest only for Babs to side with Kara.
"I pick the Twisting Tornado. It's almost like the Widowmaker Hunter wanted to ride on.", Babs chirped.
"Which is why I want to be on the bumper boats in the first place. After what Hunter put us through on that devilish ride at Sparkle Palace!", the bee girl quivered in fear only for Diana to stop a future bicker from happening.
"Sisters! Let us not squabble over petty stuff. If I am wrong, Babs and Kara are up for Twisting Tornado and Karen and Tatsu want to go on the bumper boats. Jessica only wants the Surfing Simulator. So in order to settle this dispute, a coin toss is in order.", the Amazon suggested.
"But we wear swimsuits! We didn't bring any coins!", Kara rolled her eyes at Diana's claim. Zee snickered after conjuring up a coin but Kara deadpanned at the magician's stunt.
"What's so damn funny? Where's a nearby coin? In Our boobs? In our mouths? Or up our asses?", the blonde yelled Out as little kids nearby laughed at Kara's foul language to the Point their parents glared and shooed the kids away. Zee and the others sighed glaring at Kara for doing something like that.
"No, no and definitely NO! Nowhere of the kind. Just check behind your ear.", Zee said as Kara did as she was told and Pulled out a shiny coin from behind her ear.
"Oh. So that's where the coin was. Heh-heh-heh.", Kara sheepishly grinned but Diana took the coin and stood between Babs and Karen.
"Okay, girls. One side needs to choose either heads or butts.", Diana being the adorkable one that she Is, caused Kara and Babs to snicker. Zee facepalmed and tried to correct the Amazonian..
"That's tails not butts. And you two over there quit that laughing!", the magician told the Amazon and ordered Babs and Kara to stop laughing.
"Oh. That too. So who's choosing what?", Diana asked as Kara smirked.
"Butts!", Babs and Kara chorused only for the others to glare.
"Oh, we mean tails.", the blonde and ginger said as Diana flipped the coin. The group watched as the coin landed on the ground but not what Kara and Babs wanted in their favor.
"Sorry, girls. But the coin is heads. The victor goes to Karen and Tatsu."
"Yes! Bumper Boats, here we come!", the bee girl told the group as Diana pointed to the area of the chosen ride.
"Let us go and bump some boats!", the Amazonian declared as Kara and Babs sighed In defeat. Zee smiled and cheered them up.
"Look at it this way, girls. After the Bumper Boats, we'll get to the Twisting Tornado. And Jessica can go to the Surfing Simulator.", she said as Babs and Kara just shrugged.
The girls were soon at the bumper boats waiting in Line. However, it took a little long to wait as Kara is a good example.
"Damn it! How long do we have to wait anyway? I'm sitting here watching my toenails grow.", the kryptonian whined but Tatsu sighed at Kara's whining.
"Patience is a virtue, Kara. Besides, we're next after everyone else is done. Now please wait like everybody else.", the swordswoman chastised the blonde. Kara mumbled under her breath much to everyone's chagrin. Once everyone was finished with the boats, the girls and a few others were next as they showed their bracelets to the attendant before heading to the gate. Babs saw a purple colored boat and grabbed Kara's hand with glee.
"I got dibs on that boat! Let's get to it!", Babs beamed as Kara was pulled towards the boat. Diana was kind Of confused on how to use one.
"I wonder how you operate these boats? There's no paddles.", Diana perplexed wondered about the boat. Tatsu smiled and guided the Amazon towards the boat.
"It's almost like driving a car. Just put your hands on the bars mounted on the motor and steer left and right.", Tatsu told Diana as the Amazon pivoted the bars left and right.
"We're not going anywhere. How do we go forward?", Diana asked.
"There's a trigger underneath the right bar. All you need to do is squeeze it and it'll go."
"Like this?"
"No, no. Not yet. Don't squeeze it. Look.", Tatsu warned pointing to the big light glowing red. The other seating arrangements went like this, Jessica and Zeee, Karen and a little kid.
"Attention, everyone. Please keep your hands and Legs inside the boat at all times. When the light signals green, the session starts. Are you ready? 3, 2, 1, GOOO!", the announcer excitedly said as all the boats jumped out the Line.
The girls and the Other patrons laughed bumping into other boats hoping to get the other. Babs spotted Karen and the Little boy and grinned evilly.
"Kara, target at 10:00! Let 'em have it!"
"Oh yeah! Now ya talkin'!", Kara smirked turning the boat zeroing in on Karen's boat. The bee girl tried to control the boat with the kid whining for her to go faster.
"Hey, lady! Speed it up, will ya?!", the kid yelled as Karen grew annoyed.
"I'm trying to. Don't rush me! EEEEP!", Karen squeaked and felt a hard bump by Babs and Kara as both laughed having fun bumping the next boat being Jessica and Zee's. Karen glared at them and made a game face.
"Of course they realize this means war.", she said pulling more of the throttle chasing after the laughing duo.
Diana and Tatsu giggled driving the boat bumping random boats as the Amazon enjoyed every moment of it.
"Great Zeus! This is very exhilarating! Feel my fury! Feel the pain!"
"I don't know of the latter two but I'm glad you're getting the hang of this, Diana. Oh no! Watch out for the wall!", Tatsu yelled as Diana was about to drive herself into a barrier.
"Wall?! What wall? I don't see—OOOOF!", the girls went into a barrier and spun in circles. The girls yelled until the boat stopped spinning with the girls' eyes turned to anime swirls.
"Oh, Hera. You were right about the wall. Maybe I was overzealous.", Diana still seeing Tweety birds muttered to Tatsu who nodded sympathetically. However, Kara rammed the girls sending them in circles again as both Kara and Babs laughed their asses off. In fact, those two maniacs made Jessica and Zee suffer by bumping them into a wall and hitting Karen's boat but missed giving the bee girl the opportunity to bump Kara and Babs into another boat making them spin. The bee girl laughed along with the little boy as they did some bumping into other boats. It lasted until the beep rang and the light turned red signaling for everyone to park the boats near the entrance/exit area. The girls and everyone else got out of the boats and were ushered out of the ride area by the attendants.
Back at the pathway, the girls had different reactions from the ride. Diana and Tatsu were a Little woozy from being rammed and spun all over the place, Jessica and Zee were all wet from falling into the water glaring at Babs and Kara, Karen felt relieved of the ride bumping into other boats.
"Great Hera! I'm a Little dizzy.", Diana groggily said feeling dizzy and Tatsu nodded in agreement. Babs then held her bladder and Jumped in place.
"Girls, where's the bathroom? I definitely need to go right now.", the ginger asked clutching herself. Zee then spotted Karen bouncing up and Down as well.
"Yeah. I definitely need to pee.", Karen whined as Kara huffed.
"Should've tried peeing in the water."
"Ewwwww! Kara, no! We're not doing that! And for the record, we'll get kicked out! C'mon and let's go find a bathroom!", Zee chastised Kara with the girls finding a nearby restroom.
======With the boys======
And so, the boys were near the surfing ride as Lobo spotted a woman wearing a bikini as he smirked. Kurt spotted Hawkgirl nearby as Hunter rolled his eyes at the shark boy and Zarnian.
"What the hell are you two up to? Don't tell me you're about to harass them.", Hunter asked as Kurt and Lobo shook their heads.
"Of course not, geek. Just tryin' to holler at this babe over there."
"Yeah, mate. Though that babe with the wings might've shot me down, but she can't run from the Kurtmeister forever.", both boys said as Dirk facepalmed.
"You guys haven't learned your lessons yet. Shaayera's going to beat your ass again if you come over there near her.", the goat kid warned.
"You two keep your asses right here. We're about to be next up on the ride. So stay right here.", Hunter warned as Lobo and Kurt groaned. Billy and Freddie noticed the line move up some as the wait became shorter. Once the boys came up, they showed their bracelets and went on their boards in the water. Once the ride starts did the water turned into a wave.
"WHOOOAA! This is awesome!", Billy cried Out in excitement standing On the board with the wave carrying him along. Freddie and Dirk felt nervous as they try to keep their balance. Hunter and Kurt were doing fine but Lobo had to be extra by doing something stupid.
"This is awesome! Righteous! Righteous! Hey, why is people acting all angry? Lobo, what the hell?!", Hunter yelled at Lobo and Kurt who were doing a handstand mooning at the patrons.
"Hey, you two cut that out over there!", the attendant yelled at Kurt and Lobo who didn't give a damn. Dirk and Freddie nearly gagged seeing Lobo and Kurt's bare asses mooning at everyone.
"Pull up your trunks, you morons!", they both yelled at the Zarnian and shark mutant but to no avail. Parents had to shield their kids' eyes and glared at the stupid act. Billy gagged turning green looking Like he was going to hurl.
"I'm going to be sick, dude! UGH!", the wiz groaned.
"Don't look at them! Look away! Lobo and Kurt, pull your damn trunks up already!", Hunter yelled exasperated as Lobo and Kurt smirked. The ride was lasting long but was torturous due to Lobo and Kurt mooning all the way through. Soon, the ride was over as the attendants who felt bad for the four Innocents in the party ushered them out of the ride and gave them some medical attention by letting them rest and eat some green apples and ginger to settle their stomachs. As for Lobo and Kurt, they had a stern talking to by the staff and was given a strike on their bracelets. Boy, this would anger Zee for the passes had a 3-strike rule meaning that if one breaks rules in three attempts results an immediate ejection.
The boys were now walking along the park glaring at both Kurt and Lobo for their actions. To say they were pissed is an understatement for Billy voiced his frustration.
"I can't believe you dicks did this stupid shit! We were in the first aid area for 30 minutes!"
"So what? We got a strike on our bracelets! It's not our fault that people here are a bunch of wussies.", Lobo huffed as Hunter rolled his eyes.
"Of course It is! Are you going to piss Off Zee? You do realize that she and Mr. Zatara are going to receive a text on who got a strike on their bracelets."
"Whatcha mean, mate?!", Kurt asked stupefied as Freddie sighed.
"Before we stepped off the plane, there were rules to these bracelets. If anyone committed an offense at the waterpark or anywhere on the hotel area that the cardholder will be notified on text. So that crap you both pulled notified Zee and her dad.", Freddie explained. Kurt was then pale as a ghost but Lobo smirked.
"Oh come On. You gotta admit it was funny as Hell."
"Well we don't! You better be lucky we were not thrown Out of the park from that stunt back there, you rat bastard.", Hunter hissed as Lobo grinned. Dirk facepalmed at the group as he decided to defuse the situation..
"Before things get crazy, what else can we do out here?", the goat ten asked as Hunter read the map.
"Well, there is a go-boat course called the Hydro Thunder, some waterslides, a bobsled and Luge ride and some jetskis. Quite a tough one.", the gamer told the goat teen as Freddie had an Idea.
"How about that Hydro Thunder ride? And why is it named after a racing game?", Freddie asked.
"Beats me. But it seems fitting. Who else wishes to go-boat?", Hunter asked as everyone agreed.
"That's settled then. Hydro Thunder it is. And Lobo and Kurt, do us a favor and not make a complete ass of yourselves. I don't want to hear Zee's mouth about this. Although it's already gona happen on the way back to Metropolis.", Hunter sighed as Billy, Freddie and Dirk felt sympathetic towards the gamer.
The boys were on their way to Hydro Thunder as they didn't expect somebody there in Line being the Supervillain Girls. Billy raised an eyebrow at the girls and turned to the boys.
"Didn't expect us to run into the ladies so soon. Who knew?", the wiz quipped.
Maybe they're interested in this go-boat idea too.", Dirk added.
"Well, at least we can make most of this ride. C'mon, guys. before the line moves without us.", Hunter said as the boys went to the Line. Carol looked at the group and turned to Selina.
"Sel, check it out. Hunter and the guys are coming over here.", the cheerleader said.
"And to think we'd had the day to ourselves. What a shame.", Selina sighed.
"So much for a girls day out.", Barbie sighed.
"Relax, girls. They're probably just here to race boats. Besides, it'll be fun!", Harley squealed bouncing up and down. Doris huffed eyeing Hunter but blushed. She quickly shook It off.
"Yeah, right. You know how they act. Especially those dweebs Hunter pals around with! Hell, Lobo and Billy are a real trip to boot.", the ginger giant spoke her mind. Leslie smirked at the girls with Doris rolling her eyes.
"What's so damn funny, Leslie?"
"Oh nothing. Just that we may have to share boats with some of them. After all, the boats are two-seaters. And you may pair up with Hunter. Just don't blush and faint. Otherwise, he'll have to give you mouth-to-mouth.", the DJ giggled much to Doris's embarrassment. Barbie hissed not wanting Doris to have the gamer to herself.
"Girls, let's just get this ride over with. The sooner we do this, the more we have time for our girls day out.", Pam told the group. Barbie huffed voicing her opinion.
"As long as I don't sit with that brute Lobo, I'm good with it."
"RAAAAAAAAHH!"
"AAAAAAAAAHHH!", the girls screamed being startled by Lobo scaring them. The Zarnian laughed himself silly at his prank but the girls were not laughing for Selina tried to whack him.
"Hey, babe. Don't be all aggro on me. It was Just a joke.", the Zarnian grinned but Selina wasn't having It.
"You nearly gave us a heart attack, you brute. RREOW!", the jewel lover huffed as the Zarnian drooled over the girl's buxom figure. Hunter facepalmed at his friend's stupidity for Carol crossed her arms over her chest as did the other girls.
"Quit staring at Our figures drooling like that, you perv!", Barbie yelled as Lobo whistled like nothing happened. Hunter shook his head but glanced quickly at Doris's ass for a second or few. And at Selina's also. But he was caught by the former who glared daggers.
"I saw what you did, you nasty bastard! You were staring at my ass, weren't you?!", the giant yelled as Hunter grinned.
"So? Can't help if you had a ba-donka donk.", the gamer said with everyone laughing except for Pam and Selina.
"He's dead.", the plant girl and jewel lover said to themselves. Doris tried to give Hunter an armlock as her anime veins grew. However, the attendant signaled the group to move up and show their bracelets. The group then went in the gate and decided on who is sitting where.
"Okay, so who's sitting where?", Dirk asked as Harley went to Freddie who got startled by the blonde.
"I choose Freddie to ride with! I will drive while you relax! Hee-hee-hee!", Harley laughed as Freddie paled.
"This Isn't my lucky day. Something tells me that.", he gulped. Pam gulped In worry knowing how bad her blonde pal is behind the wheel of any vehicle. Dirk was fine with Leslie as they picked a boat, Pam and Kurt were picking another boat while Carol picked Billy. That leaves Hunter, Lobo, Selina, Barbie and Doris.
"Okay, there's two double seaters and one single for one of us. So who's gonna do what?", Hunter asked. Barbie eyed Hunter like a piece of meat but Doris wasn't having it.
"Oh hell no.", Doris told Barbie as the girls quarreled. Lobo snickered while Selina glared at the Zarnian.
"Quit laughing and stop them from fighting! The attendant's waiting.", she said pointing to the attendant waiting patiently. Doris seeing her secret crush get bothered by Barbie's flirtatious tendencies, quickly jumped in and comically snatched Hunter dragging him to a blue boat throwing him in the front passenger while she hopped in the driver's seat. She then glared at Barbie hard tsundere style. Lobo then smirked at either Selina or Barbie. Selina not wanting any part of this, jumped in the single seater.
"Sel, what the hell?! You're leaving me with this brute?!", the rich blonde ranted as Lobo had a sgit-eating grin.
"Too bad, Barbie. I'm not putting up with him in stereo. RREOW!", Selina made her decision final as Lobo smirked at Barbie. The blonde had her pupils turn to slits as she made her point clear.
"Try anything funny and die!", she hissed as Lobo waved his hands in defense.
"Relax, babe. No need of threats here. The Main Bro never goes back on his word.", the Zarnian boasted as everyone got to their boats.
"Ladies and gentlemen, start your engines!", the announcer said as the electric boats were started. Everyone was waiting for the command fastened and ready.
"3, 2, 1, GOOOOOOO!", the race was on as everyone raced out the starting gate. Harley was driving like a bat out of hell with Freddie pale as a ghost gripping onto the seats.
"Ha-ha-ha-ha! Get out the way! Get out the way! MOOOVE!", the blonde laughed nearly hitting somebody who yelled at her being crazy. Freddie turned to her with a flabbergasted look on his face.
"are you crazy?! You nearly caused a wreck!", Freddie yelled only for Harley to ruffle his hair.
"Relax, Freddie! What can possibly go wrong?"
"Watch for that wall! AAAAHH!", Freddie screamed as Harley nearly smashes the wall. To say that the wiz hero is terrified is an understatement.
"I think I'm going to whiz on myself!", Freddie cried anime tears as Harley cackled driving the boat SpongeBob style.
To make matters crazy, Doris and Barbie bickered while driving beside each other throwing insults.
"Doris, keep your eyes on the road!", Hunter yelled at the ginger who nearly sideswiped Barbie.
"You giant idiot! You nearly hit me! Watch where you're driving!", Barbie yelled as Doris yelled back throwing the bird at her.
"Bring it, bitch! I'll show you!", the ginger yelled speeding the boat as did Barbie in which the girls raced like hell. Lobo held on to the bars as he gulped.
"Damn, this broad is as crazy as catshit!", Lobo thought out loud only for Barbie to growl in anger.
"What did you say to me?! I'm crazy?!"
"Hell yeah! As catshit!", the Zarnian told the blonde who glared in his face. Lobo looked at a buoy and yelled at the catgirl.
"Watch for the buoy!"
"What buoy, imbecille?! EEEP!", Barbie squeaked narrowly dodging the buoy. Hunter on the other hand was bickering with Doris.
"Doris, what the hell?! You spun somebody!", Hunter yelled as Doris frowned.
"That bitch and her boyfriend asked for it! So what?!", the ginger huffed.
"Oh come On, woman! Wait a minute! Drift left! Drift left!", Hunter yelled spotting a wall as he grabbed the wheel and turned just in time before they've crashed. Doris then glared and huffed at the gamer for what he did.
"I was driving here, nerd!"
"Well, you're doing a crappy job at it! Are you trying to get us Killed?! Oh shit! Here's a ramp! Get ready!", Hunter said as Doris grinned evilly flooring the gas as she guns for the ramp. Once she did, she then screamed while the boat was in the air.
"Hold me! Hold me! Hold NMEEEE!", the giant wailed anime tears gripping onto Hunter until the boat landed back On water. Hunter deadpanned and told Doris to look. Once she did, she shook off her stupor and blushed for a moment.
"Why thank you—Oh I mean, whatever, dweeb!", she huffed as she drove the boat with Hunter shaking his head.
"Her gratitude is overwhelminh. Imagine what she'll be Like if we were married years from now.", Hunter spoke to the audience breaking the fourth wall. Little did he know that a story between him and Doris is already out in Our universe.
Billy raced along the track with Carol nagging at him to go on the straights much to the wiz's chagrin.
"Left! Oh I mean right! Left!", Carol yelled as Billy raised an eyebrow.
"Make up your mind, Carol. We're not getting in a wreck on vacay, okay?", Billy noted as Carol kept nagging.
"Just do as I say! EEEP! You nearly hit someone!", Carol shrieked as Billy sighed.
"Geez, how does Hal put up with you?", Billy asked but Carol heard it and grew her head anime style and ranted giving Billy an earful.
"What did you say? I heard that! Well I never, never, NEVER!", the cheerleader yelled making her voice comically distorted like a demon scaring Billy as She ranted. The wiz did his best to drive under pressure.
"Oh shit! Why the hell it had to be like this?!", the wiz cried out anime tears as Carol ranted about her sweet Hal though One-sided.
To make things short, the race lasted a few more laps of hell for some of the racers. And the race was over with Leslie finishing 1st with Dirk feeling relieved. The rest of the teens were a little shook when exiting the track. Freddie was as stiff and scared, Hunter and Doris were bickering like a married couple, Barbie ranted about Lobo getting her wet ruining her mascara, Carol talked too much about Hal giving Billy a migraine, Pam yelling t Kurt for his reckless driving and Selina just sighed at the chaos going on.
"Ugh. What a day this turned Out to be.", she mused.
And so, the boys and Supervillain Girls were stuck with each other as they were done doing waterslides, Twisting Tornadoes and the jetskis. Things were a Little better than they were at the Hydro Thunder. The group looked at the sun going down some as Lobo whistled at It.
"Damn. It's the afternoon already. Shit and It's our last day here. Bummer.", the Zarnian said as plenty agreed with him.
"Yeah. But let's just make this day count.", Hunter said to the Others as Selina nodded.
"He's right. But what are we gonna do? It'll be time to meet Zee back at the gate.", the jewel lover said as Doris eyed the Tunnel Cruise over there. She tapped the gamer on the shoulder getting his attention.
"Yeah?", he asked as Doris blushed and quickly Pointed to the Tunnel Cruise and then motioned herself and the gamer hinting who's going to ride In it.
"You mean—"
"Yes, you doof!", Doris hissed in Hunter's ear as the gamer sighed and agreed. The Others snickered and left them there to sort it out.
"Okay, let's get this show on the road.", Hunter said as Doris giggled deep down inside. She grinned evilly snatching the gamer towards the area. Little did they Know that the Superhero Girls were watching them.
"What the heck? What's Doris doing with Hunter?", Babs wondered as Diana and Karen glared. However, Zee giggled as she had an idea.
"Not sure but let's spy on them. It'll be fun.", Zee said squealing like a schoolgirl.
"Let's see what Hunter's up to. Great Hera! Is Hunter looking at—"
"Why is he staring at Doris's ass?", Karen finished quietly but glared as the girls followed them. Once Hunter and Doris had their bracelets scanned, they boarded a Lapras themed boat while the Superhero Girls chose the larger boat and spied on them quietly.
"Now, girls. Let's keep it down. We don't want them to hear us.", Zee warned. However, Babs had other ideas.
"This place is too quiet. Time for some music."
"What the hell? Babs, no!", Kara warned but It was too late.
"WAAAAA-WWWaAaAAA-WAaaA!", Babs sung Off-key the same way Scuttle did in the Little Mermaid film. The girls covered their ears and glared at the ginger.
"Babs, you're blowing our cover! Get down!", Jessica hissed but to no avail.
Doris was blushing at Hunter as the latter relaxed a bit. The ginger sat closer to the gamer liking the ride.
"Ah, alone at last. Hunter all to myself.", Doris said but heard a glass shattering wail coming from somewhere unaware that Babs is the culprit from the song.
"What the hell is that?! Whoever it is better shut the hell up!", Doris grumbled as Hunter heard the noise.
"Maybe it's a sick bird making that noise. Somebody better put that Poor bird out of it's misery.", he noted covering his ears. Babs kept on singing off-key annoying the Other passengers.
"AAAH! Shut up!"
"WILL YOU BE QUIET?!", the Older Passengers yelled from Other boats. Babs was getting on her friends' nerves to the point that Karen bonked her upside the head. Babs yelped rubbing her head whining at the girls.
"What was that for?!"
"Thank you, Karen. Babs, quit singing. It sounds like a griffin's mating call.", Diana told the ginger as the other girls raised their eyebrows.
"Finally, it stopped.", Doris sighed in relief as Hunter nodded. Soon, they enjoyed the ride as a familiar tune from the Little Mermaid Played on the speakers.

Doris heard the tune and blushed turning to the gamer.
"Whoa. They're playing a song to my favorite movie.", she said as Hunter raised an eyebrow with intrigue.
"Really?"
Yeah. But don't tell anyone else about that. Got it?", Doris said sternly as Hunter nodded. The ginger switched back to a genuine smile as the cruise went on. Babs beamed whispering to the girls.
"Yay! Yay! $20 for Hunter kissing Doris! Anyone betting? Kiss the girl or miss the girl!", Babs cheered only for Kara and Tatsu to shut her up.
"Will you be quiet? No one is betting on that! Make It $30.", Kara chided but smirked at the latter only for Tatsu to glare hearing Kara's bet. Diana and Karen were not too happy as the Amazon eyed Hunter like a Piece of meat.
"That Doris thinks she's going to keep him for herself? I don't think so!"
"Me neither! They better not kiss on that boat.", Karen added In only for Jessica and Zee to raise their eyebrows.
"Didn't you two kissed Hunter plenty Of times?"
"You stay out of thissssss!", Diana and Karen hissed with angry cat eyes silencing Zee. Hunter got enveloped under Doris's arm as the cruise kept going with the song. Both gazed at each others' eyes meeting hazel and sapphire. Doris blushed like a tomato gazing at the gamer as she asked him something.
"Hunter?"
"Yeah?"
Can you close your eyes for a moment?"
"Uhh, sure.", Hunter closed his eyes as Doris puts on a brave face puckering up.
"All right, here goes nothin'.", Doris said before both teens closing In towards each other. Babs giddily rubbed her hands hoping she gets the $30 as Diana and Karen gasped. Doris and Hunter were ready to inch closer as the Amazon hissed.
"Hunter, get away from her!", she hissed gritting her teeth. Karen narrowed her eyes Into slits.
"Oh hell to the naw!", the bee girl said watching helplessly as Doris and Hunter slowly inched closer. The girls watched On quietly but before Doris and Hunter pressed lips did the horn sounded signaling time is up. The boats were docked at that time and passengers exited the Lapras boats. Diana and Karen sighed with relief but Babs whined.
"There goes the $30!", the ginger sighed.
"That was a close one for sure! If Hunter kissed her, there will be Tartarus to pay!", Diana said glaring at Doris and Hunter. Karen glared harder after seeing Hunter stare at Doris's butt again.
"Hell to the naw! He's staring at her ass again!", Karen hissed. Doris deadpanned at Hunter for a second and smirked.
"You stared at my ass again, didn't you?", she asked.
"Yeah. I was going to smack—"
"Don't you even dare. I'll slug you if you do that.", Doris said firmly as Hunter snickered unaware that Diana and Karen had anime veins on their faces. The teens exited the ride area and headed straight for the park entrance. As soon as the group were there, everyone gazed at it for one last time before heading to their hotel room to pack their luggage for the way back home.
And so, our heroes were on the plane with their luggage squared away. Hunter looked Out the window gazing at the scenery as Diana and Karen finally having him all to themselves sat with him.
"Well, girls. This is It. Back to Metropolis.", the gamer said feeling glum. The Amazon cheered him up assuring her friend and crush of the situation.
"Worry not, Hunter. When having fun, time goes so fast. You got to make the good times last.", Diana said with wisdom as Hunter nodded.
"Yeah. You're right. We did do that, didn't we? In fact, we had a lot of pics on our phones. Heck, Zee sent us the Pics in group text. I oughta make a scrapbook when I get home. That is, If Keisha doesn't kill me.", Hunter grimaced as Karen raised her eyebrow.
"And why would Keisha try to kill you?", she asked.
"Remember what I did to her car before the vacay?", Hunter asked as both girls now remembered what the gamer did and frowned.
"You ought to be ashamed of yourself for what you did. It'll serve you right if she taught you a Lesson.", Diana chastised Hunter as he groaned slumping in his seat with the girls giggling. Zee went up to the group and beamed.
"I'm glad you guys were able to come with me for a vacation. It was so divine.", she said as Hunter nodded.
"Heck yeah. I loved every bit Of It. I'm not sure what would top this trip.", the gamer said as Zee felt appreciated.
"Yeah. I'm glad you loved It. But could I ask you a favor?"
"What is it?", Hunter asked as Zee had frown On her face.
"If you see Lobo, can you tell him to come see me and my daddy? I got some choice words for him. Oh and that goes for Kurt too.", Zee said as Hunter paled at the mention of what went down at the water park.
"You can count on us, Zee. We'll make sure Lobo and Kurt gets the message.", Diana told the magician as the latter went to the other room. Lobo and Kurt appeared as they smirked at the trio.
"Well, guys. It's back to Metropolis with the same old grind."
"I feel ya, mate! This vacay is what I've needed in a good while. Why can't it be two weeks?", Lobo and Kurt respectively told Hunter.
"Guys, you know we have school tomorrow. Besides, the author is too pooped to do another episode of this arc.", Hunter said as the group grew confused of the latter. The gamer shook it off and remembered something Zee said earlier.
"Hey, Lobo and Kurt. Zee just came to us and said to come to her cabin. She wants to talk to you. Both her and her pops.", Hunter said as Kurt paled and Lobo gulped at the mention of Mr. Zatara.
"Dude, why?"
"You guys know why. It's about that strike issued on your hotel bracelets.", Hunter deadpanned.
"And we heard of what you both did and you ought to be ashamed for doing that.", Karen noted disgusted with Kurt and Lobo's actions. But before Lobo and Kurt can Protest, a throat was cleared revealing to be none other then Mr. Zatara who was not looking to happy at the teen delinquents. Lobo and Kurt grinned nervously as they were scared out of their wits.
"C'mon, man! We can explain! It's not my fault at all! It was him! I swear!"
"Me?! Don't blame me, mate! It was your idea to moon your ass in front of everybody, pal!"
"That's enough! In my cabin, the both Of you! Let's go!", Mr. Zatara said sternly hauling Lobo and Kurt away leaving Diana, Karen and Hunter alone.
"Those two are definitely going to get It.", Karen noted. Soon, the plane took Off as everyone was ready to head Off to Metropolis. Farewell, Dolphin Keys. Farewell as the camera shot of the island is left on screen.
Back in Metropolis, The Zuels offered to take Hunter home as it was getting late after the plane touched down. Mrs. Zuel smiled at Hunter asking him a question.
"So did you have a great time on the trip?", the scientist asked as Hunter nodded.
"Yes, ma'am. I enjoyed this trip. Too bad it wasn't two weeks.", Hunter sighed dreamily with Doris rolling her eyes.
"Don't press your Luck, dweeb! School is tomorrow and it'll be a while before we have something like that again.", the ginger said nonchalantly.
"Be nice, Sweetums. But we do have a camping trip soon if you're interested, Hunter."
"Oh thanks. I'm very interested.", the gamer said as Mr. Zuel chuckled behind the wheel.
"Splendid. We'll ask your folks if it's okay. But why did we hear Zee and her father yell on the plane?", he wondered.
"Let's just say Lobo and Kurt did something they were not suppose to.", Hunter explained but received a text from Lobo stating that he got grounded for a week for what he did. The gamer smirked to himself as they approached his house pulling to the side to let Hunter off.
"Well. Hunter. This is your stop. Doris, why don't you be a dear and walk him to his door?", Mrs. Zuel told the ginger as she nodded. The two teens stepped Out the car as Doris walked Hunter holding hands.
"Look, dweeb. About what I said on the boat ride yesterday. You didn't tell anyone about it, did you?", Doris firmly said stopping at the door. Hunter shook his head with Doris sighed In relief.
"Good. Now I owe you something on the boat yesterday.", Doris blushed twirling her hair as Hunter knew what she was talking about. The ginger gently pulled Hunter towards her face and pressed their lips on each other. They soon kissed for a couple minutes until she broke free with a smile On her face.
"Wow. That was amazing.", Hunter grinned as the teens rang the doorbell. The door revealed to be none Other than Keisha and her fat white Persian cat named Duchess glaring at Hunter who Paled knowing what's about to go down. Doris looked confused and greeted Keisha.
"Hey. You must be Hunter's sister, right?"
"Yeah. Thanks for bringing him home. I take It that you're a friend of his?", she asked as Doris nodded. Keisha thanked the ginger as the latter told Hunter goodbye before heading back to the car. Once the car pulled away, Keisha firmly Pulled her little brother inside the house. After Hunter greeted his folks did he get pulled to the side by Keisha and Duchess who didn't look happy at all.
"Why the Long face? Is something wrong?", he played dumb but Keisha wasn't buying it for she dragged him by the ear to the garage and turned on the light revealing the car that still has the fake testicles mounted underneath.
"Remember what you did to my car?! I was pissed and Humiliated!", Keisha yelled with anime anger as Duchess hissed and growled. Hunter laughed now in deep shit tried to run away but Keisha grabbed him.
"Where do you think you're going?! Like I promised, you're about to get your ass beat!"
MRRRRRROWWW!", Duchess yowled as Hunter gulped backing away nervously. But before he could blink, Keisha and Duchess dogpiled him into the hallway beating him up as scuffling, yowling and screaming can be heard throughout the house. Marv sighed to himself watching the ass beating Hunter is receiving right now.
"Help me, Marv! -bleeping- help!", Hunter yelped as Marv smirked.
"For sooth, Hunter. For sooth."
Marv smiled evilly as he went upstairs to his room as the episode ends with Hunter still receiving the beatdown.
"Get back here and help me, you frickin' dick!"
A/N: Whew, that's chappy 28, ladies and germs. What an arc that's been but I'm glad I've put it behind me now. The Lapras from Pokemon makes a cameo as a boat in this chapter and the park attraction Hydro Thunder is a nod to the arcade racing game by Midway involving boats in their Thunder series. Now I have to admit I gave Hunter a taste Of his own medicine. After all, in chapter 20, he did mount the fake testicles under his sister's car thinking he'd get away with It. XD!
Also, my harem so far is going to be OCxDiana, Doris and Karen. I'm Just building up their relations with the main protagonist before he declares his love for three of them.
