Hey, folks. Time for another episode of Captain Hurricane and the Superhero Girls as the Team returns from their vacation at Dolphin Keys back with school and crimefighting to deal with. Anyway, I do not own anything in this fic. Let's get it.
====Chapter 29: Stench of Steel======
The city of Metropolis is under attack by a creature resembling a stinkbug as Kara and the Super Team were fighting it off as it shot a smelly yellow goo at everything on the road. Hunter gagged at the smell as he tried to hold his balance on the airboard.
"Damn! That's rank, dude!"
"I know right! Smells like expired Cheez-Whiz!", Lobo added in his two cents as Shazam and Shazam Jr. shook their heads.
I don't think it's Cheez-Whiz! Let's just defeat that big bug before it stinks up the whole town!", Shazam said as Diana dodged many goo shots by the stinkbug mutant creature as she covered her nose.
"Hera! The stench reeks of that of Cerberus's droppings! This is going to be nauseating!", the Amazon flew to avoid more shots as Zee was almost hit by the smelly substance as she screamed.
"EEEE! That bug nearly made me smell like a swamp! Take this, you stinky brute!", Zee shouted as she zaps her wand at the angry stinkbug as it growled in pain. Karen tried to subdue the giant insect while Hunter shot at its' mandible to break it off only for a new one to grow in its' place.
"Uh-oh. My sonic boos didn't work on that stinker's mandible! Gotta think of other parts to aim for.", Hurricane noted as Jessica dodged some goo and used her swatter construct.
"Please do! It's getting nastier by the minute! This shouldn't happen to a girl!", Jessica whined as Kara smirks.
"It sure does. The nastier the better! SUUPRRRGIIRRRL!", Kara said charging at the stinkbug creature. Tatsu and Babs who was corralling the creature gasped.
"Kara, no! Get back!", they chorused but the insect grinned evilly and shot a big goo at the blonde sending her down on the ground.
"Kara!", the group all chorused as Kara stands up covered in smelly goo. She then did the unthinkable being that she licked the nasty goop off her face sucking it all off and smiled with an evil grin at the creature. This grossed out the girls while Hunter just had his jaws dropped.
"Damn! What the hell, Kara?! That's just nuts!", Hunter said as Lobo grinned.
"You ate the Cheez-Whiz! That's awesome!", the Zarnian said firing his blaster at the stinkbug between it's eyes as it readies another attack.
"I think I'm going to be sick!", Babs whined as Diana was speechless at Kara.
"No need of applause until the show's over! SUPERGIRRRRL!", Kara shouted flying at high speeds going through the stinky goop the creature shot at her and went inside the creature punching it rapidly and powerful sending the bug's parts in the air and the Kryptonian fired her laser-vision frying the parts to ashes while the Others took cover to avoid the goop and other nasty things from hitting them. The battle was Over as Kara flew down to her teammates as she smirked unaware that dark stink lines were over her and her hair and uniform were covered in the yellow stink.
"We did it, guys! Let's go to Zee's. I'm pooped.", Kara said zooming away leaving a huge stink trail as the Others followed her with Zee gagging and Diana felt uncomfortable as she turned to Hunter.
"Is it me or does Kara stink?!", Diana said as Hunter was coughing at Kara's stench trail.
"It's her and we definitely need a bath for sure!", Hunter noted as Lobo voiced his opinion.
"I can take my own stink because it's manstink but the one Blondie had is out of this world kind of stink!", the Zarnian said as Zee frowned at the blonde.
"Well we need to convince her that she needs to take a bath. She's not going to reek up my penthouse!", Zee said taking cleanliness very seriously. Billy had an idea pitched to Zee as she listened In.
"Why don't we turn your swimming pool into a big bathtub? Just conjure up some soap flakes and we'll throw Kara in there. Easy-peasy.", the wiz hero said as Zee rubbed her chin in thought and smiled.
"That's perfect. But we need to convince Kara to join us by force.", Zee said with a smirk. Karen nodded in agreement as did the others.
"The sooner we do it the better. I'm feeling nauseated by Kara's stench.", Karen felt queasy as Diana carried her along the way as the group headed to Zee's.
=====At Zee's=====
The group was in the pool with soap flakes added in as they try to entice Kara in the water. The Kryptonian scoffs as she pointed at everybody.
"Oh come on, guys! What's the point of taking a bath? We're going to get dirty again!", Kara said as Diana puts her hands on her hips.
"Kara, you cannot go a day without a bath in that condition with the stinkbug. And cleanliness is part of being an upstanding hero. And as your leader, I command you to get in the water right now!", Diana commanded with authority as Kara scoffs.
"KEH! Okay, fearless leader. I'll do it. Not! Only big fat sissies take baths!", Kara said with a smirk as Babs had a sad puppy dog look.
"I'm not fat.", Babs whined as Hunter frowned.
"Kara, just get in there or else. Taking baths isn't so bad. You're the Girl of Steel. Not the Stench of Steel!", Hunter said as Kara smirked picking him up.
"Hey! The hell you think you're doing?!"
"Since you think baths isn't so bad, how about you be the first to get in there? The water's fine."
"Hey, put me down! YEEEOW!", Hunter was thrown right into the water as Kara laughed hysterically as Zee looked at the air hero drenched.
"Heyy, that's not funny! I'll show you! You're getting in this pool right now!", Zee glared with flames in her eyes as Kara smirked.
"Try me.", Kara spotted Zee use her wand to ensnare her but dodges and went at Zee ramming her into the water as two heroes in their costumes were soaking wet.
"She got you too?"
"Yeah.", Hunter and Zee deadpanned at Kara laughing as Babs, Karen, Tatsu, Lobo Jessica and Freddie were tossed Into the water angering Diana.
"All right, Kara! That's enough! You're going in this water and take a bath this instant!", Diana threw the lasso and caught something as she yelled.
"GET OVER HERE!"
"YAAAAAAH!", Billy yelled as Diana gasped after throwing him into the water.
"I'm okay!"
"Sorry, Billy! Now to get Kara! What the?"
"This silly game is boring. I'm outta here!", Kara said flying away as Hunter pointed up in the sky.
"Oh no! She flew the coop! Let's get her!", Hunter yelled as Diana now in the water stops him.
"Let her go, Hunter. We need to worry about Our own cleanliness. Kara will learn soon enough.", Diana said as Babs and Karen had worried looks on their faces.
"But Kara will reek the town with her stench! We can't let her go out like that.", Babs said in worry as Billy and Lobo chilled in the pool.
"Blondie doesn't know what she's missing. Hell, I'm getting' my mmanstink back instead of bug filth.", Lobo said with a grin as Billy nodded.
"Yeah. What's with Kara and baths?",, Billy wondered as Jessica shrugged.
"Not sure but sooner or later she will have to take a bath. We have school tomorrow.", Jessica noted as Diana with a determined look on her face agreed.
"And a bath Kara shall get! No stench will come to our sibling in arms! I say we cleanse our sister of this filth whether she likes it or not!"
"Yes. Kara's going to get a bath one way or another! I say we go after her right now!", Babs shouted as Karen shook her head.
"Uhhh. There's only One problem. We don't know where Kara is off to now.", Karen noted to the group as Hunter thought about something.
"She could be anywhere. But Lobo here can sniff her out.", Hunter grinned as Billy and Freddie had raised eyebrows.
"Dude, Lobo's not a dog. What makes you think that?", Freddie wondered as Lobo explained.
"I do have an uncanny ability of smell and could sniff out a bad guy from far away. Us Zarnians have that in our arsenal.", Lobo said as Billy and Freddie now understood the details.
"That's settled then! We'll find Kara and give her the bath she needs! All troops, move Out!", Diana ordered as Hunter corrected her.
"Umm. Shouldn't we dry Off first?", he said as Diana sheepishly grinned.
"Oh I forgot. Once we dry, we fly!", Diana said triumphantly as the heroes figure out a way to get Kara.
Kara after fighting another monster stank worse thanks to the monster's slimy substance combined with trash she got knocked in. She huffed as she flew around the city laughing at her friends wanting her to take a bath.
"KEH! I don't need to take a stinkin' bath. As long as I'm able to kick butt, I'll never come clean. Hmm. I can pay Barry a visit to Sweet Justice for one of his crazy ice cream experiments. That would take my mind Off of stupid hygiene.", Kara said landing in front of Sweet justice. She entered the shop as Barry, Cyborg, Garfield, Garth, Hal, Barda, Ollie and Carter were hanging Out as they smelled Kara's stench.
"Yo, BB! Did you break wind?!"
"How revolting, Garfield!"
"Dude! Lay off the burritos for a good while, man!"
"It wasn't me, yo! I swear it! I haven't eaten a burrito today!", Beast Boy said to Cyborg, Green Arrow and Flash as Barda frowned holding her nose.
"If you didn't do It then who did?! It's burning my nose!", the new goddess whined holding her nose as Hawkman tried to flap his wings to help fan away the stench. Garth and Hal groaned as other people stared at Kara in her casual attire smirking wafting the stench waving at the group.
"Yo, Barry! Guys! What's happenin'!", Kara said getting close to the teens as they gagged holding their noses. BB was the first to speak his mind.
"Girl, you got serious BO! So it was you who smells awful, yo!"
"Yeah! You're worse than rank! You need to take a bath!", Beast Boy and Cyborg complained as Garth's eyes watered.
"Guys, my eyes are watering up! Oh it burns! It BURRRNS!", the Atlantean groaned as Kara smiles at Barry.
"Hey, Barry. Slide me some of that ice cream concoctions of yours! I'm hungry!", Kara grinned as Barry shook his head and waved his hand frantically.
"Kara, I can't! You gotta leave the shop! You're creating a health hazard to everyone! Please take a bath!", the speedster whined as Ollie agreed..
"Yes! It's repulsive and rancid! The agony of it all!", the Thespian covered his nose as Hal used an empty takeout bag to puke In.
"Kara, you're foul! It is worse than Gar's farts!", the Lantern said after Puking. Barda's eyes narrowed after seeing many customers flee out of the store to get away from Kara.
"That's it! Get out and take a bath! We'll have to throw you out!"
"Please, Kara! Get out and leave! You're gonna get me fired!", Barry said as Kara scoffs.
"KEH! First Di and the team and now you guys? This is bull! If you really don't like it then throw me out!"
"With pleasure!", the Invincibros chorused as they gang up on Kara and threw her out Of the shop. Kara scoffs and flipped the bird at the group before flying away.
"Hmph. Whatever. I'm going home."
========At Kara's======
Kara opened the door to her house where Clark and Lois were visiting John and Martha. They spot the blonde come In and greeted them as they all were shocked at Kara looking dingy.
"Hey, guys. 'Sup, Kal. I'm back. Had to fight a monster.", Kara said walking past them leaving big stink trails in her wake. Lois gagged while John and Martha coughed covering their mouths.
"What is that awful smell?! I'm coughing uncontrollably.", Lois said struggling as Clark with his super senses frowned at his cousin walking up the steps to her room.
"Kara.", Clark said to the three having coughing fits. He followed up the stairs and saw Kara lounging on her bed. The blonde saw her cousin at her doorway and yawned.
"Hey, Kal. What's happenin'? I beat up a monster or two of them today.", Kara said as Kal nodded.
"I can tell. And shouldn't you take a good bath to get the stink off?", Kal suggested as Kara looked at him dumbfounded.
"You too? But baths are pointless! All we'll do is get dirty again. It's already bad enough we fight crime on a daily basis and I got kicked out of Sweet Justice!", Kara complained as Kal deadpanned.
"Well I can see why Barry kicked you out of Sweet Justice. You're creating a health hazard and part of being a hero is being clean.", Kal lectured as Kara groaned.
"Great. You're the second one to lecture me of that. Old DI told me that already and she and her merry men tried to throw me into the Pool at Zee's to get me clean!", Kara said as Kal frowned at his cousin.
"I cannot blame them for trying to do that. You have school in the morning and I suggest you take a bath tonight before you go to bed. It's unbecoming of you, Kara. Now you take a bath this instant!", Kal said glaring at Kara as the blonde huffed.
"KEH! Fine! I'll take that stupid bath!", Kara said as Kal smiled.
"Good. I'll see to it that you do that.", Kal said as he left his cousin to herself. As soon as the Man of Steel left downstairs, Kara smirked as she blew a raspberry.
"I'll see to it that you do that. KEH! I'll take a bath all right. Never! Hahahahahaha!", Kara laughed as she lazily lounges On her bed.
"Can't believe Kara's opted for flying to school. I hope she took a bath and not fumigate the whole school.", Karen said as Jessica driving the group in the minivan nodded.
"Yeah. I heard Hal and the Invincibros had to kick her out of Sweet Justice for trying to fumigate it. That's a health hazard!", the Lantern said as Hunter nodded.
"Yeah. Can't believe she had to throw me in the damn pool! But at least we don't stink.", the air hero said as Zee nods.
"Hopefully, she learns to take cleanliness more seriously.", the magician said as Lobo smirked.
"Yeah. Because no one outstinks the Main Bro! Not even you, Hunts!", the Zarnian boasted as the group deadpanned.
"Dude, compared to Kara yesterday, your manstink is more tolerable. And that's saying something.", Hunter noted as Diana spoke on the others' behalf.
"I'm sure our sibling in arms learned her lesson yesterday. And at school will she be clean from here on out.", Diana said confidently as the van parked in the student parking lot as Babs looked at the school.
"Well, this is our only way to find out if Kara did take a bath or not."
"Not to worry, Babs. I'm sure our school day will run like normal. Diana and the others are right. I'm sure of it.", Tatsu said as the teens walked up to the building as Billy and Freddie had gagging expressions. The group didn't have to ask as they knew what was up.
"Don't tell me. Kara?", Hunter said in a deadpan as the two wiz heroes nodded. Before they could say a word, they heard Pam bawl out anime tears as Jessica gasped.
"Oh no! It's Pam! We gotta see what's up before homeroom!", Jessica cried Out as Hunter told the group.
"Well what are we waiting for? Let's move!", the air hero said as the teens went to Pam at her locker bawling in front Of her dead plants. Babs went up to the bawling ginger to figure Out what was wrong.
"My babies! My poor little poopsies! AAAAAAAAH!", Pam wailed as Doris and Harley stood by her.
"Pam, Doris, Harley! What happened?!", Babs asked as Doris spoke for Pam.
"Kara's what happened! Her stench killed Pam's precious plants! She's down the hall going to homeroom! I oughta pound her for killing my friend's plants with her stink!", Doris glared as Harley calmed down her plant loving friend.
"It's okay, Pammy! It's goin' to be all right. The botany club will understand."
"That Kara! She's ruining everything! When I get my hands on that walking stinkball, I'll show her not to screw with people's plants! I'll avenge my poopsies!", Pam yelled as Diana glared.
"We need to get to the bottom of this! She's going too far!", the Amazon said as Billy gulped pointing to other students having coughing fits while some puked.
"Well we better hurry! The students are suffering Kara's stench warfare!", Billy noted as Doris growls.
"You better or else we will!", Doris said pointing to the two SRS members hinting that her clique will get the Kryptonian. The teens heard the bell rang signaling class starting in a couple minutes.
"We gotta juice, guys! Otherwise, detention's calling Our names!", Hunter warned as the group went On to class.
=====Homeroom=====
Kara who is still smelly sat in the back as other students felt uncomfortable as the teacher felt a little queasy. Hunter and the team looked around them as other students were nervous to say anything to Kara for they will get beaten to a pulp if they do so. The teacher cleared her throat as she began her class.
"Okay, everyone. Now that everyone's present, let's start off with the exam preparations in May. I take It that you all had a great spring break but now is the time to prepare for your journey to junior year. .", she said as Hunter groaned due to the fact that geometry was a bit of a drag for him like the other students feeling the same way.
"Not to worry for this is the middle of April but when May comes around will we prepare for finals. I recommend that you all get a head start on learning the curriculums. It never hurts to consider your futures. In other news, the talent show is coming up next week. If any of you have a talent you want to show to the audience, please sign up on the bulletin board in the lobby. You have until next week to do so. Also, you need to pick an elective for next school year to lock in your choice. It's very important you pick an elective and core classes that would ensure your path to college or any pathway you choose.", the teacher announced as the students waited patiently for the bell to ring. As soon as the bell rings, everyone was free to go to their first period.
========At lunch======
Kara smirked avoiding the others as they were looking for her. Many of the teens were getting sick of Kara Literally as she stank up the rooms causing many to go to the nurse's at an alarming rate. In fact, it stirred a panic as Ollie angrily shouted.
"Where is that rancid Kara?! Thanks to her, the botany club couldn't deliver the flowers to the drama club! This is n outrage! An outrage!", the Thespian archer yelled as Dirk and Kurt were angry at Kara for ruining their appetite. Doris, Pam and Harley were self-explanatory while Barbie, Selina, Carol and Leslie were very pissed for cheerleading and dance club meetings were canceled due to Kara fumigating the gym.
"That damn Kara is going to Pay for ruining the school day with her smelly, rancid, putrid, foul and disgusting stench! Because of her, I couldn't dance for my Halsy-Walsy!", Carol yelled as Hal whispered to Barry.
"Now that's One thing Stenchy is good for in this case. But she still needs to bathe right now! I was going to ask Jessica of the botany club about something I couldn't remember., the Lantern noted sheepishly as more students yelled and ranted getting restless. Hunter noticing this told his friends about the situation.
"we need to find Kara and talk some sense into her and fast! This is getting out Of hand!", the air hero said in worry as Zee sees Dirk yelled in the crowd.
"Let's start a RIIIOT! We need our voices HEAAAARRRRD!", Dirk yelled as Doris and Kurt smirked.
"Yeah. Let's start a riot and form a mob after Ms. Stinkball! We'll make her pay big time! Who's with me!", Doris yelled as the Other students cheered. Zee gulped as she told the Team the situation.
"Hunter's right! They're forming a mob to go after her!", the magician said as Karen grew worried.
"Yeah. Thanks to Kara, school's canceled. She fumigated most Of the school."
"Well we must go after her! Let's move!", Diana ordered as they looked for Kara. The group left the school with the mob not too far behind as the search took a while until they found the Kryptonian near a tree at the park.
"Those suckers should be thankful I've bailed them out of school. The Look on Pam's face when I killed all the plants of hers for the botany club. Priceless. And Barry should've known better than to kick me out of the hangout spot. Health hazard my (ARF)."
"Kara! We need to talk!", Diana said as Kara frowned at her friends as she scoffs.
"Oh great. The Hygiene Brigade ready to lecture me on baths. What do you dweebs want?", Kara huffed as Diana in anger stepped towards her stubborn friend but Hunter stopped her.
"Hold it, Di. Wear this.", Hunter handed the gas mask to Diana while he wore a Vega mask, Billy and Freddie wore their Jason Vorhees and Frankenstein masks respectively, the rest wore gas masks courtesy of Zee as Kara smirked.
"Isn't Halloween too early? Seriously, you guys are a real pain in the butt."
"I was going to tell you the same, Kara! Your refusal to bathe after that stinkbug fight caused the whole school to cancel!", Diana glared as Kara huffed.
"Oh come on, Wonder Nerd! That school Is boring as hell. I did you guys a solid!"
"No you didn't, Kara! You have a lot of explaining to do! If you had bathed yesterday at Zee's, then none of this wouldn't happen!", Diana hissed as Kara smirked with the birds and animals running away from the stench.
"So? And your point is?"
"The point is that you've angered most of the students and they're out for blood! Specifically, you! Di is right. If you had just bathed instead of reeking havoc. No pun intended. There wouldn't be an angry mob on your tail!", Hunter said lecturing Kara as Karen gulped pointing to the angry mob.
"Uh, guys. I think the mob's here! And Pam is leading it!", Karen warned as they all looked at the mob.
"Now you've really done it! Pam is very Pissed at you!", Jessica said in a panic as skulls and crossbones were in Pam's angered eyes as she eyed Kara like a scratching post.
"And why would she be mad at me for?"
"Isn't it obvious?!", the team yelled at Kara with angry anime expressions. The mob were there as Pam crossed her arms.
"We finally found you, Kara! Time to teach you a lesson in killing my poopsies!", Pam ranted as Doris joined in cracking her knuckles.
"It's time to clobber Ms. Stinkball to the ground! Let's do this already!", Doris yelled as Diana halted them from doing so. She went up to Kara with her gas mask still on as she spoke the truth.
"Kara, I must be very honest with you. As your friend and fearless leader, it is my sworn duty to say, YOU STINK! YOU SMELL! YOU REEK! You're stinking up the whole school! It smells worse than Cerberus's hindquarters and Hydra droppings combined!", Diana yelled as Hunter wrote on his notepad as Zee raised an eyebrow.
"Uhh. What are you writing?"
"Just making a note to myself not to piss off Di like that."
"Oh. That's understandable.", the magician agreed with Hunter as Pam had something to say.
"So either take a bath or take a hike!", the plant lover demanded as everyone out of nowhere had water cannons, soap flakes and sponges at the ready as Doris yelled.
"Enough talk! It's BATHTIME! Get her!", the ginger giant bellowed as everyone including some of the civilians chased after Kara who ran off.
"She's getting away! Get her!", Harley cried as they gave chase.
Kara huffed as she ran to the harbor sulking as she grew more annoyed with everyone convincing her to take a bath.
"KEH! Everyone's angry at me over a stupid bath! First it's my friends then my cousin Kal and my folks and now the school. As long as I'm able to fight crime and monsters, I'm never coming clean.", Kara grumbled as she spotted a Godzilla like monster getting ready to terrorize the harbor.
"Finally, some more action! SUPERGIRRRL!", Kara shouted as the giant beast glares at the blonde. It swipes at her but missed due to Kara's superspeed and reflexes. The Kryptonian landed some hits to the monster's face and body before accidentally getting in the beast's nostril. It then screamed in discomfort as Kara tried to get out.
"AAAH! Get it out! Get it out! GET IT OUT!", the monster said as it shot Kara out of his nose as snot laced all over the blonde. Before Kara can make another attack, she spotted the monster leave for the ocean.
"Where are you going? The fight's just getting started!", the blonde wondered as the monster turned around looking at the ocean.
"Um. Going home."
"But why? It was just getting good!", Kara was impatient after the monster decided to go home. However, Kara didn't expect the answer to be the brutal truth.
"Uh, I don't know. Maybe because YOU STINK!", as soon as the monster said this, Kara's face turned red and flames were in her eyes as her mouth foamed. She had a fit as she yelled in anger.
"Noooooooo! All right! All right! I'll do it! I'll take the stupid bath! I will! I will!"
"Glad you will.", Kara turned to the voice as Hunter grinned holding an empty capsule.
"What are you doing with that capsule? Wait a minute! Don't you dare!", Kara said as Hunter threw it at the Kryptonian stunning her.
"Capsule ball, GO!", Hunter commanded as the ball in Pokemon fashion captured Kara and landed at Hunter's feet as the others being the team watched as Billy gulped.
"I hope your plan worked out, dude. She'll give all of us black eyes if she gets out.", the wiz hero said in worry as they watched the ball rocked one side each before stopping at the neutral position and clicked flashing red signaling that Kara's been caught.
"Yosh! I caught a Supergirl!", Hunter raised the capsule ball inn the air as Karen and Tatsu deadpanned.
"All right, Ash Ketchum! Let's go to Zee's so we can get Kara to smell normal.", Jessica said as the group went to Zee's."Hunts played Pokemon Sword a Lot Lately.", Lobo said to Diana as she understood as the air hero led the group out of the harbor.
======At Zee's=====
The heroes took Kara in the bathroom with the boys staying out for obvious reasons as Zee's magic wand made sure Kara didn't run away. Many of Zee's fancy soaps and luffa sponges floated into the shower and scrubbed her good offscreen. It didn't take long to get all the stench off of Kara as the nightmare was over.
"You smell a lot better, Kara. Don't you all agree?", Zee said with a smile as Kara wearing a bathrobe grumbled.
"Yeah. Now the Main Bro's manstink is back on top, baby!", Lobo cheered as Tatsu shook her head.
"Please don't get any ideas.", she warned as the Zarnian sheepishly grinned. Diana smirked as she saw Kara all good and clean as Hunter tossed Kara her clean uniform.
"Looks like our sibling in arms is clean and rid of the filth. We shall celebrate in some form of fashion! Now there's an example of an upstanding hero being clean as possible.", Diana remarked.
"So do you feel all better now that you're all squeaky clean?", Karen beamed as Kara grumbled.
"Do you feel better now that you're all squeaky clean? KEH! Shut up. I just took the stupid bath so I can fight bad guys again.", Kara huffed as Billy and Freddie deadpanned.
"Not all of her.", they both chorused as Diana frowned.
"Kara, you may be clean from the bath but your attitude is a different story.", Diana spoke the honest truth as Hunter snickered like Muttley.
"Oh shut it, Scooby!", Kara huffed as Hunter kept on snickering. Zee just turned to the blonde and assured her.
