JJ was too busy staring at Reid while he was being briefed by Morgan and Rossi about the case to notice someone gently tugging her shoulder.
"JJ. Care to tell me what that was all about?" Emily asked with a slight chuckle
JJ continued to stare at Reid while nibbling on her thumbnail. "Sorry, what was that?"
"Oh nothing, just a little curious as to what that absolutely steaming hot kiss you planted on Reid earlier was all about." Emily replied.
"I missed him." JJ said trailing off.
"Well no shit JJ. I think everyone in this room missed him yet you didn't see any of us trying to suck his face off."
"Well then I guess you just didn't miss him the way that I did." JJ replied before going back into her thoughts about actually seeing Reid in front of her.
"You know what? You are absolutely right. Neither me nor Morgan are in love with Dr. Reid." Emily joked
JJ didn't decide to correct her. But decided to slightly blush as Reid turned his head toward the two girls and give them his famous grin.
"Alright, you have fun I'm going to talk to Morgan and Rossi about the case." Emily said and then made her way to those two people standing by the map.
"I still can't believe what I just witnessed." Rossi said to Morgan.
"Tell me about it, I never would have thought pretty boy had that in him. Who knows what else he's learned while at the Pentagon." Morgan Joked.
"Hey." Emily said when she arrived to the two men in conversation.
"So? Did she tell you?" Rossi asked.
"She didn't deny it, and that my friends is good enough for me." Emily chuckled.
"Did she mention what that kiss was about?" Morgan said
"Not exactly. She just told me that she missed him."
"Well no shit. I missed him too yet you didn't see me start licking his lips. " Morgan laughed.
"Thats what I told her."
"And? Her response to that?" Rossi chipped in
"All she said was quote "Well then I guess you just didn't miss him the way that I did." unquote. Then she went back to staring at Mr. Lover boy
"All I can tell you two is that in all my experience, that wasn't a first time kiss between two people. That was a kiss two lovers wanted to reenact after missing each other for so long."
"I feel like this is going to be a long night." Emily and Morgan said in unison causing Rossi to let out a chuckle.
After a long day at the precinct with little progress, Hotch decided that they would get more work done if everyone had a fresh mind and called it a night. Everyone was thankful and ready to get to the hotel.
Reid was still thinking about why the girlfriends were spared and not the boyfriends when he felt a tap on his shoulder. "Huh?" He said shook out of thought.
"Just wanted to see if you were ready to go pretty boy" Morgan asked.
"Yeah let's get out of here." Reid said before picking up his rather light go bag and started walking out of the precinct. He thanked himself for packing light clothing because of the heat Arizona always seemed to be packing.
"Packing light i see. "Rossi chuckled pointing at his bag.
"I Learned that the more you pack, the less you end up wearing..Plus I kinda enjoy the simplicity." Reid shrugged. shifting his bag to his left hand so he could entwine his right hand with JJ's.
As they made their way to the parked SUV they didn't take into account the extra body they would need to fit in there as the only rented the one SUV. "So how is this going to work?" Morgan questioned.
"How about Hotch and Rossi take up front, Morgan and Emily sit in the middle, and me and JJ can hide in the back with all the bags, and you know, do our thing. If you know what I mean" Reid said with a slight drop in tone as he finished saying his plan.
JJ immediately blushed not knowing where this side of Reid came from but kinda liking it.
"Woah, did I just hear that right? And coming from pretty boy?" Morgan asked with a chuckle filled with disbelief.
Emily just stared at Reid. "Reid I don't know what you're thinking but there will be none of that while I'm around."
"Just get in the car guys we are only 20 minutes from the hotel." Everyone got in the SUV, following Reid's plan and then Hotch backed out of the parking lot on to the main road.
As it turned out, there were more bags in the back than Reid anticipated causing him to lift JJ onto his lap so they would both be more comfortable.
"Everyone good back there?" Rossi said from the front.
"I know Reid and JJ are." Emily said glancing over her shoulder at the position the two agents were in.
"Em I have more than enough room back here for you too. All you have to do is ask." Reid responded slyly.
"Whoa. Okay" Morgan said with a wolf whistle. Hotch just raised his eyebrow and looked in the rearview mirror.
"Reid are you.. flirting now?" Emily questioned
"With Hotch's wife and a girl on his lap no less?" Morgan quickly added
"I'd invite you back here too Morgan but you just aren't much of my type." Reid joked
Emily just laughed at Morgan's face after hearing that.
JJ decided to test how flirtatious her boyfriend was by slowly moving her hips around on his lap.
"So Reid, where've you been these past 3 months?" Hotch asked trying to desperately change the topic.
"Oh you know, around." He responded while biting his cheek, figuring out what JJ was trying to do.
"Must have been pretty far considering how long it took you to get here." Rossi said
"Well that depends on your definition of far. JJ I swear if you keep this up everyone in this SUV is going to get a free show tonight." Reid almost hissed at her.
JJ gasped at this new found confidence Reid was showing. Everyone else was just wide eyed, not knowing what to make of the situation.
"Hmm.." JJ began now moving closer to Reid. "Promises promises." JJ purred in his ear before gently tugging and sucking on his earlobe"
"Don't make me come back there." Emily said still dumbfounded by Reid's flirting.
"Oh please do Em, me and JJ are getting lonely back here." Reid replied smugly
"No one's moving anywhere. We are almost at the hotel." Hotch ordered.
Once they got to the Hotel they all started getting out of the SUV. "Would rather get out now or spend a bit in here with me. Because I'm not goin anywhere until you do." Reid whispered in JJ's ear.
A shiver rolled down her back at the huskiness in his voice. "How about we get out and try to find a way to get you and me in the same hotel room." JJ responded, gently kissing him on the lips.
"Oh I can make that happen, just lead the way my little white dove." Reid purred causing JJ to melt closer into him.
"Are you two love birds ever going to get out or should I call room service?" Morgan chipped in
"Nah we're getting out. We won't need room service anyways with the plans we have for each other tonight."
"Oh my." Rossi said while everyone else just stared wide eyed at the two getting out.
"So how is this going to work. We have 3 rooms and now 6 people." Morgan asked. Originally, they planned on having JJ room with Emily, Hotch with Morgan, leaving Rossi to the 3rd room by himself. "I'm definitely not rooming with pretty boy."
"Why? afraid you might like something that comes from it?" Reid quipped
JJ and Emily started laughing hysterically and Hotch and Rossi just smirked.
"He can sleep with me." Rossi chimed in
"Rossi, as submissive as I look I kinda like being on top." Reid said.
"Ok just for that you can sleep in the bathtub." Rossi said with a glare.
"It's alright Rossi, I bet I can change his perspective on that." JJ said looking at Reid with an evil smirk causing him to blush slightly.
"You can bunk with us if you want." Emily asked once she calmed down from laughing.
"See told you I could make it happen." Reid whispered in JJ's ear.
"I guess I'll have to repay you for your service then somehow." JJ whispered back with that same smirk
"Can't wait."
