Chapter 11: Eclipse

I see you have come back for another chapter of the harem anime owl house… thank you and I am sorry for the cringe. The tension in the warehouse could be cut with a knife.
The red woman and the ice witch glared at the monster in front of them… the monster they created.
The monster stared angrily at the two witches and hunched it's back in an aggressive stance.
"esdeath, do you know how to beat this thing?" Erza asked using her magic to change into a new suit of pink armor with wings.
Esdeath shook her head and prepared her rapier to summon some ice.
"You cannot defeat us… we are eclipse!" the creature charged and clawed esdeath cutting open her left arm.
Before the witch could respond the creature used it's ooze to push the witch into the wall and engulfing her in it's goo.
"save for later." eclipse said in their scratchy voice.
"save?" Esdeath said, trembling in fear.
Erza charged forward and raised her sword to strike the creature.
Eclipse in response dodge each swipe and laughed at her opponents futile attempts.
"just. Stand… still!" Erza tried to stab into the creature but was sidestepped.
Eclipse kicks the mage in the side sending her into the wall.
Erza tried to pick herself up but her ribs were broken and she didn't have any healing magic.
Eclipse took step after menacing step toward the mage.
"I'll see you in hell creature."
Eclipse chuckled and transformed her right hand into an inky ax raising it to strike.
Erza stared the creature and accepted her fate.
Before the final blow could be struck a bolt of lightning hit eclipse causing her to real back.
Eclipse turned her head to see the witch odalia and roared in her voice jumping up to the top of the wall.
Odalia ran to erza and used a spell circle to heal her even though it was not her specialty.
"thanks odalia."
"Shut up, what were you thinking? Giving the human one of the empresses artifacts."
"I thought it was poison, okay. I did not it would make her this unkillable monster." Erza replied.
The two magic users crowded together to stand back to back looking for danger. The creeature had disappeared in the shadows of the warehouse.
"where is she?" Odalia asked looking around.
"I thought you were an oracle before the emperess took over?" Erza asked.
"I was but it takes time to cast proper oracle magics. Time we don't have."
The wicked chuckles of eclipse echoed in the warehouse. "you have that right. You have only 1 minute left to live… starting… now."
The creature jumped down in front of erza and slapped her with it's tendrils knocking the witch into the wall taking her out of the fight.
"dirty demon!" Odalia yelled summoning a wall of ice and launching it toward eclipse.
The creature dodged and slashed odalia's wrist knocking her back and drawing blood.
Odalia took a few steps away from eclipse, a grimace on her face and fear in her eyes.
"Such a prim and proper lady you are odalia. I wonder what that big beautiful brain will taste like when I devour it." the creature chortled letting out another roar.
"w-what!"
The creature leaped and jumped up to attack Odalia.
The witch raised a shield that barely blocked eclipses attack.
The creature slammed it's fists and tendrils at the barrier screaming in agitation. Each tendril strike added a new crack to Odalia's shield.
The witch winced with each attack as her mind raced trying to find a way out of this.
The creature eventually gave up and walked away.
Odalia slid down on the ground, her back to the wall as a sigh of relief escaped her lungs, "Oh thank the titan, it's over, she's gone." she panted, the strain on her body taking it's tolls.
Before odalia could relax fully a fist broke thru her shield as an elongated tendril broke her barrier and grapsed her by the neck.
The witch choked and clawed on the tendril to no avail.
Eclipse chuckled as she pulled odalia toward her and opened her mouth to reveal a gaping maw filled with rows of teeth.
The witch with fear in her eyes tried to pull away but she could get no leverage.
"Please, no." she begged tears in her eyes.
"Yes,"

meanwhile luca's eyes began to open as the boy stirred awake.
"Huh, what happened?" He asked rubbing his aching head. He realized that his cloak and hood were in tatters. Luca looked around to see eda, esdeath, erza, and lilith all knocked out in the ware house. "what's going on? Luz!?"
A scream from behind him made the boy turn his head. He saw odalia being grappled by a creature made of inky ooze. Luca looked at the creature and realized that the creature kinda looked like the stuff that erza put on… luz.
Luca realized that this was the effect that strange vial and that it turned luz to this.
The boy ran to the creature when he saw it open it's mouth to eat odalia's head.
"Luz stop!" he yelled drawing the creatures attention.
The creature roared, dropped odalia, and charged Luca.
The boy raised a shield spell which he learned to have repel effect.
The creature slammed it's body against the shield repeatedly ignoring the pain.
"C'mon luz, I know your in there." he begged trying to get her to see reason.
The creature broke Luca's shield and charged him.
It grasped the boy with' it's tentacles raising him over it's head. The creature lowered luca with it's mouth open.
"Lulu please, this isn't you… don't you remember me… it's luca."
"Lu-Luca?" The creature said in a distorted voice that sounded like luz. The creature released luca and took a few steps back.
"Yes, lulu, it's me… your big brother. You can fight it." Luca said, encouraging his sister.
"Luca. Luca. Luca!" luz screamed jumping back as the tentacles in her form writhed as she tried to pull the ooze off.
"You can do it Luz. Fight that thing… you can beat it."
"I-I c-can't."
"You need me human, without me your weak." the creature said as it's control loosened.
"she's wrong Luz, you were never weak. You never said you couldn't do anything because that's quitter talk and you're not a quitter… your my hero." Luca shouted.
The creature dissolved inside luz as the teen fell to her knees.
Luca ran to her held her close.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry."
"It's okay Lulu, I'm here."
Eda woke up and watched the whole thing. She shook her head and then ran to lilith she picked her sister up and called her palisman.
The staff came flying as she placed lilith on it and then flew to pick up the kids. She flew out of the warehouse and down to the cart.
Eda placed the kids and lilith in the back while she ran to the reins and clicked her tongue making the cart lurch forward.
As the group fled out of bonesborough luz was being held by luca with tears in her eyes.
"I-i couldn't control myself… I couldn't control it. I'm sorry."
"It's going to be okay Lulu, we'll fix this. I promise."
"Luca, I'm scared." Luz was crying into luca's shoulder as he patted her head.
"I know Lulu, I know." he whispered looking back to the town and feeling a deep pit in his stomach as he worried for the future.
