Emily, Reid and JJ made their way to their hotel room and started getting themselves situated. Everyone on the BAU team, including Reid were still trying to wrap their heads around the genius just randomly popping back into their lives, with as little a warning to them. Nevertheless they were so happy he was back.

"Is it alright if I take a shower first?" Reid asked as he started unpacking his go bag.

"Sure baby." JJ replied.

Emily just stared at him.

"What did i say something wrong?" Reid asked.

"I was just surprised to not hear a witty comeback is all." Emily smirked

"What is there something you like about this "new" me in the way i talk to you?" Reid countered using his finger's as quotes around the word new.

"Just go take your shower." Emily said shaking her head away from him going into her own gobag to unpack. Once Reid got his clothes and shower supplies he went into bathroom and closed the door. Once Reid was out of JJ's sight she practically collapsed on the bed. All the events throughout the day finally catching up to her and the adrenaline that was once pumping through her system from having her boyfriend back was being replaced with exhaustion.

"You must be happy he's back finally." Emily said to JJ noticing her staring at the ceiling lost in thought.

"Like you wouldn't believe."

"Well if it was anything like that steamy kiss back at the precinct i think i have a pretty good idea." Emily chuckled.

"I'm surprised that you didn't start drooling over Reid's new toned body when you first saw him. I even had a napkin ready to give you." Emily joked, settling down on the edge of her bed turning the T.V on.

JJ blushed because she too did notice his toned chest and arms but was too unfocused to notice bits and pieces of him when all she wanted was the whole thing. Before she could reply however there was a knock at their door.

"Coming." Emily said. "Oh hey."

"Hey, is Reid in here?" Morgan answered waving to JJ.

"He's taking a shower now he should be out any minute." Emily said sitting back down where she sat before.

"Ah gotcha, i just wanted to talk to him for a bit." Morgan said sitting down on a chair.

"Talk to me about what?" Reid said exiting the bathroom.

Emily and JJ turned their heads to see him and then both their jaws practically dropped to the floor. Now standing in front of of the three agents was Reid who was drying his hair with a towel and wearing a pair of gym shorts... and that was it.

If Emily and Morgan thought he buffed up at the precinct that was an understatement. Reid was no longer this scrawny kid spurting off statistics every second. His biceps practically doubled in size and his chest was a lot broader. Reid had abs that would even give Morgan a run for his money. He was ripped! He also was no longer pale. He had a nice tan.

"God DAMN Reid!" Emily practically shouted.

"Reid what the hell man? since when were you packing... that? has that been hiding under those sweater vests all this time?" Morgan said with a chuckle of disbelief. JJ couldn't even say anything, she was just shocked as to what her boyfriend had become in the three months he was away at the Pentagon.

JJ also did notice something that slightly concerned her and made a mental note to talk to Reid about later when they were alone. She noticed some scars on his chest that she doubted were there before his transfer. She didn't speak anything of it at the time because she didn't want to ruin the moment everyone was having. Also because the scars obviously weren't doing anything harmful to Reid that she could tell so that calmed her down a little.

Normally Reid would blush at all of this attention but i guess that was another the thing the Pentagon gave him, confidence. "Don't worry guys, there's plenty to go around. Even you Morgan i know you want some of this" He replied with a cheeky grin.

"Are we sure that our Dr. Spencer Reid was the one that came back to us? Or is he still trapped at the Pentagon and this is some stunt double." Morgan questioned with a laugh. Reid just laughed with him.

"And how about you Jenny, you see something you like?" Reid said with his voice dropping low. JJ raised her eyebrow at him while biting her lip before giving him a seductive smile. Not liking where this was going Emily had to intervene.

"Alright Reid I don't want to have to call 911 because JJ gets a heart attack so you should put a shirt on."

"Why? I don't like sleeping with a shirt on." Reid said with a shrug. "Besides, I think a heart attack is the last thing i would be giving her tonight." Reid said with a suggesting smile. JJ started blushing now almost getting turned on by this new side of Reid.

"Alright whatever, but I do like you sleeping with a shirt on, so go put one on." Emily countered.

"How bout this Em, you can sleep without your shirt on too if you'd like. Fair is fair." Reid suggested.

Morgan chuckled at his two friend's friendly banter. "Hotch would kill you if that happened."

"Nah, I could take him." Reid said puffing his chest out, almost in a superman pose.

JJ got up from her bed and briskly walked over to him and started patting his chest. "I don't think so, Spence." she said to him all of a sudden in a trace to his shirtless body. Reid took this opportunity to wrap his girlfriend up in a loose hug and gently kiss her. JJ reciprocated, one hand gripping the nape of his neck while her other hand was palm flat on the center of his chest.

"Gag me with a spoon" Emily groaned while looking at the small make out session taking place.

"Alright you two, save that for when we get back to Quantico." Morgan said trying to break the two love birds up.

"Save this thought for when we get back, I've got plans for you." JJ said seductively in his ear before nipping at his earlobe.

Just then another knock at the door, causing the two to fully break apart. "Oh Hey Rossi." Morgan said opening the door.

"Oh if i knew it was going to be a party i would have brought the booze." Rossi Joked. Not wanting more attention of his shirtless torso he finally decided to put a shirt on, causing a loud groan from his girlfriend.

"Boo!" JJ said, gesturing with two thumbs down and a frown.

"Don't worry baby i have more where that came from, that was just the pre game." Reid smirked.

"Reid what in the hell happened to you? seriously its like you emerged from a cocoon at the Pentagon and came out there as a new person." Rossi questioned

"That's a story for another day Rossi." Reid said. After about an hour of talking, Morgan an Rossi decide to finally call it a night, Reid agreeing to Morgan that they needed to talk once they got back to Virginia. Emily and JJ quickly took a shower and now were sitting in their respective beds. Reid popped out of the hotel room for a minute to get a drink at the vending machine, giving enough time for JJ to secretly say goodnight to Henry, promising him a surprise when she got back.

Reid returned to the room and started to pout at the two ladies sitting in the beds.

"What is it now Reid?" Emily sighed.

Reid didn't speak tho, he just used his puppy dog eyes and started looking back and forth to JJ and her bed, hoping Emily would get what he was saying. JJ was watching Reid's silent plead to Emily also hoping that she would let it happen.

"Fine Reid, but if i hear one moan I'm calling Hotch." Emily said, turning off her bedside light and turning over to sleep. She was slightly happy she could get the bed to herself tho.

Reid just grinned from ear to ear keeping his promise to JJ that he could in fact make them sleeping together tonight happen. JJ started grinning wildly as well especially after seeing how happy Reid became.

Reid took off his shirt before entering the bed (he was in fact telling the truth when he said he didn't like sleeping with a shirt on) and crawled under the covers with JJ. JJ turned off her side of the lamp causing the hotel room plunge into a pleasant darkness as they shifted together into a comfortable position. Although this was technically new to both of them, sleeping together in the same bed, it didn't feel like their first time, which they were both internally happy about.

JJ's was pressed as close as possible to Reid without it being uncomfortable. Her head tucked under his chin with one hand laying on his chest and her legs tangled with his. Her other hand was tucked between his holding it while his other arm wrapped protectively around her waist not willing to let her go. "I missed this so much." Reid spoke with a soft whisper and JJ chuckled equally as soft.

"Me too Spence, I missed you so much. I prayed every night that you would return home safely. I can't function properly without you." JJ admitted.

"It took me awhile to not see everyone's face while i was at the Pentagon but it was you who kept me going. Knowing i had someone waiting for me just as badly as I was. I love you Jennifer." Reid said giving her a gentle kiss.

"I love you to Spencer. Now let's get some sleep, maybe we can catch this guy tomorrow now that you are here." JJ said after reciprocating the kiss, now her head back in its previous position.

"I can't wait Jenny."
