As it turns out, Garcia just couldn't keep away from her favorite genius long enough and decided to come visit him along with her other team members in Tucson. At around 6 in the morning she knocked on Hotch and Morgan's hotel room door.
Morgan woke to the sound of the door and looked over to see Hotch still asleep. He got up and walked over and looked through the peep hole, a small grin grew on his face seeing who it was. "Baby girl? What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Virginia? Not that I don't enjoy you being here or anything." Morgan said after he opened the door to the technical analyst.
"Good morning my love." Garcia responded happily too giving Morgan a hug. "I wanted to come over here to see you all! I just couldn't wait for you guys to be finish the case and come to me."
"Couldn't wait to see me huh?"
"Oh my sweet dark chocolate thunder, I can never get enough of you." Garcia said patting Morgan's cheek. "This time however I'm taking about the good doctor, you stud muffin." Morgan pouted before yawing. "You get some rest we still have about an hour until everyone needs to get up."
As Morgan went back under the covers and Garcia went into the bathroom to change, there was another knock at the door. Morgan sighed but as he was about to get back up he stopped as he saw Hotch rise from his bed and made his way over to the door, thinking that he already knew who was on the other side.
"I miss you and JJ and Reid are just making it that much more miserable for me." Emily said with a pout. Hotch nodded in understanding and led her back to his bed.
"Oh it's a party now my furry friends." Garcia said while exiting the bathroom.
"Hey Garcia." Emily said with a yawn as she got comfortable in Hotch's bed.
"Everyone get back to sleep like Garcia said we have a bit of time till we all officially need to be awake. Hotch said cuddling with Emily.
"See you guys in an hour." Garcia said settling down next to Morgan.
Reid felt odd when he woke up. While yes he was more than used to waking up in hotel rooms, it was new to be waking up cuddling with someone else. For the past three months he was used to sleeping in low-star motels and tents when out on missions, usually always with a roommate. This time was different tho. Not only was he in the same bed as someone else, but this someone else happened to be the love of his life, his first love. He gently combed his fingers through her hair making sure he could actually feel the silky smoothness telling him he isn't dreaming.
JJ awoke to the sensation and instinctively cuddled closer to his touch. JJ now more awake, was slowly starting to come to the same realization Reid has and started stirring herself awake. She lifted her head where it was lying on his warm, bare chest and looked up at her lover, making eye contact with those chocolate orbs she loved. "Hi" Reid said to her, gently pushing the hair covering parts of her face behind her ears.
"Hi." JJ began, cupping his cheek. "I got scared for a second, thinking yesterday was all a dream and i would wake up all alone again." she said with a slight tear coming down her cheek.
Reid used his thumb and wiped the tear away. "Don't worry baby, I'm here this is all real. I promise I will never leave you again. I don't care what the cost." Reid said before gently pulling her head toward him locking lips.
Just then a knock came from their door, causing Reid to groan into their kiss. "Seriously? Why can we never get any peace and quiet." He said now leaning her forehead on his.
JJ giggled at his cute pouting and gently nudged him from her. "Go get the door, we can continue this later." She said with a twinkle in her eye.
"I'll hold you to that." Reid responded getting out of bed and walking to the door. JJ wolf whistled at Reid and his state of undress, he was only wearing a pair of boxers.
"Although I hated you being gone for so long Dr. Reid, i must admit that the Pentagon did work some wonders on that ass of yours." JJ said with an evil smirk.
It was not Reid's turn to blush and just looked at her with a scrunched up face. He was too focused on JJ's comment to brace himself for whoever was on the other side of the door. When it opened he heard a loud squeal before finding himself in the arms of a Penelope Garcia.
"Oh! My baby genius! Welcome home I missed you!" Garcia said practically waking up the entire hotel. Reid just laughed and hugged her back.
"It't good to see you too Garcia." Reid responded. Once they parted Garcia finally noticed Reid and what he wasn't wearing.
"Oh my! Muscles ahoy! Does my chocolate god know you have these?! He must be so jealous." Garcia said while she showed no embarrassment in moving her hands all over the genius's bare chest.
"Pen I love you but you need to get your paws off of my man's muscles." JJ ordered, appearing besides Reid. Garcia turned her attention from her muscle heaven to the female agent.
"Oh Jayge! Yay for you! Your man is finally back!" Garcia said now embracing JJ in a hug of her own. "JJ laughed more at the blush growing on her boyfriend's face.
Reid, now getting slightly embarrassed desperately tried to search for an escape. "I think I'm going to go get dressed now. Yup that seems like the right thing to do." Reid said quickly.
"Oh my sweet genius don't think you need to get dressed for Jayge's benefit. Im sure she appreciates what you're wearing right now.. Or should i say lack there of." Garcia said nudging JJ with her shoulder.
"She's right Spence." JJ said with that same evil grin. "Although, I wouldn't mind you taking that last piece off." She finished, her eyes slowly traveling lower and lower down his body.
"Oh don't worry baby once we get home, All of this-" Reid paused, pointing his hands toward the last article of clothing on him, "will be abandoned on the floor. Just giving you something to work toward." Reid countered, now with a low husky voice before giving her a wink and closing the bathroom door.
JJ blushed a bit while Garcia on the other hand stood wide eyed. She had no idea about this new side of Reid yet since she's been in Virginia until now. "What? Since when has something like THAT come out of my genius's mouth?" Garcia questioned.
"Since yesterday." JJ said, still blushing slightly.
"And you are like, okay with that? You don't prefer the Reid that left us 3 months ago?
"Honestly Pen, I wouldn't say I prefer 'old' Spence, but this side of him just makes him so much more hotter than he already was. Plus have you seen his body? Almost had me drooling the first time i saw him." JJ admitted
"How close did you and the good doctor get last night?" Garcia now asked with a mischievous smile.
"Close enough.." JJ said quietly "Considering we are on a case and Hotel room wall's are known for being quite thin."
"Well how close is enough? Because earlier i went to Hotch and Morgan's room to bunk with with my chocolate six-pack when Emily came in saying you and Reid made her miss Hotch."
"Ok well..." JJ started now feeling slightly guilty. "Maybe me and Spence did get a little.. lovey-dovey.."
"A little?" Emily said now appearing behind Garcia. "'I prayed every night that you would return home safely. I can't function properly without you.'" Emily started quoting from memory what JJ said to Reid last night. "'It took me awhile to not see everyone's face while i was at the Pentagon but it was you who kept me going.'" Now quoting Reid. JJ yet again started to blush hearing their statements she and Reid made to each other.
"Aww! That is so adorable. I must hear more about this!" Garica said tugging Emily into the room. JJ wanted to kick them out so she could have some alone time with Reid before they had to start working but knew her attempts would be futile. Just then another knock at the door caused JJ to rush to and open seeing Rossi standing in front of her.
"Please help me." JJ whispered
Rossi looked over JJ's shoulder and knew exactly what she meant. "Hey girls, the continental breakfast is open." Rossi said to the two agents deep in JJ's room.
"This isn't over i will get my answers." Garcia said to JJ while she and Emily made their exit with Rossi. JJ mouthed 'thank you' to him when the girls weren't looking. He winked at her and walked away with them.
JJ closed the door and took a deep breath. Then Reid's head popped out behind the bathroom door. "Is it safe to come out yet?" Reid said quietly not knowing who was still in the room.
"I don't know." JJ started, slowly walking over to the bathroom door. "What's your definition of safe?"
"Oh Jenny thats easy. Anytime I'm with i know im safe." Reid said now exiting the bathroom still in the same state as which he entered in.
JJ smiled and kissed him gently. "When did you decide to start calling me Jenny?" She questioned as they broke apart. JJ was kinda curious tho. Normally Reid would just call her JJ.
"Honestly I don't know. The first time it came out I wasn't really thinking. Sort of the heat of the moment type thing you know? i guess it just stuck. Why do you not like it?" Reid replied back
"I love it Spence. Although my nickname for you is like 10 times better." JJ joked
"I have to agree with you on that one." Reid responded back. JJ went to hug him but while in their embrace, her hands traveled down his back and squeezed his ass. Reid gasped softly
"I was also right with the Pentagon doing work on this ass. You've been holding out on me" JJ whispered, as she started kissing his face and moved lower down his neck.
"JJ.." Reid softly moaned back.
"Whats wrong Spence? Cat got your tongue?" JJ purred, now latching on to his collar bone and began sucking gently. Slowly she bit down, leaving a small mark."
"JJ.. the only thing i want my tongue to catch is what you've been holding out on me, but not now we have people waiting on us. Later baby" Reid said holding back another moan, trying to regain some composure.
"Alright fine, you party pooper. Don't think i'm letting you off the hook that easily tho. You can't hide your crown jewels from me forever." JJ said giving his ass one final squeeze before parting from him, giving him a wink before going into the bathroom to change into more work appropriate clothing.
Im going to marry her someday He promised to himself before also getting ready for work.
