Chapter 13: Runaway

I see you have come back for another chapter of the harem anime owl house… thank you and I am sorry for the cringe. I want it stated that Lilith's feelings for luca are indeed real and not artificial. As to the age gap I believe that since Luca is 18 and lilith is also well over the age of consent in any state or government that they can form a bond… also this is a harem fanfic… there are worse pairings that could be made. Sorry if that came across as harsh but I had to get it off my chest.

The dark shroud of night was a small comfort to Luz Nocenda as she left her brother in the nest. She crept toward the door and lightly turned the handle.

Luca stammered in his sleep making Luz flinch but when he calmed down she breathed a sigh of relief.

she opened the door and looked both ways… the coast was clear.

Luz turned her head to her brother and whispered the words. "i'm sorry."

The witch teen opened the door and winced when it let out a loud creak. She tip-toed to the top of the stairs looking down. She used a spell circle to allow her to see in the dark and saw Lilith sleeping on the couch with king on top of her both snoring.

Luz went down the steps one at a time with a measured grace. Once she reached the foot of the stairs, she snuck to the front door.

The girl looked back at all she was leaving behind and forced herself not to cry. This is for their own good. She thought I can't control eclipse and if she comes out again then It will kill them… I can't let that happen.

Luz opened the door to find a cold wind enter her bones as the moon was full overhead. She closed the door not making a sound and then ran into the woods.

Luz ran for what felt like hours until she reached the town of bonesborough. She looked around at the desolate city and found herself an alley to hide in. She let out a yawn and crouched under the shade of the roofs of the city. I'll stay the night here then I'll move on.

The sound of rolling thunder crashed in the distance.

Great, luz thought curling up into a ball. This is just what I need.

The boiling rain came pouring down on the roofs of bonesborough. The sizzling sound was sickening as small puddles of smoldering water formed in the streets.

This is my life now. Luz thought, I deserve it for not what I said to her… I'm sorry mami. Luz cried into her lap holding hiding her face.

"Ah look, it's a little dove out in the boiling rains." a rough voice said from one side of the alley.

Luz looked up to see a man in black leather with a hood and cloak of the same color and material.

"don't worry little dove, we're gonna take good care of ya." he says and two more men followed behind him. They walked menacing toward him.

Luz lept up and backed away from the men"Stay back! I'm warning you."

"Oh, you here that? The little dove is warning us." the leader chuckled, "Now come here!" he ran toward her.

Luz backed away into the open. Her body was assualted by the boiling rain. The rain sizzled and popped on her brown skin as small welts began to form.

Yelping Luz summoned a shield with her magic which took the form of a blue barrier.

"looks like she's got a little more talent then most girls we take. No matter. Barriers up and surround her."

The men did as they were told forming an aura of black energy and charging out to cut off all of luz's escape routes.

"Now, you can come quietly or we can do this the hard way." he ordered preparing a spell circle.

I vote the hard way, a voice in the back of luz's mind said.

"No," luz whispered you're not gonna take control… not now… or ever again.

You need me Luz, we can be heroes like azura. Just let me take the wheel and we can save the girls… you'll be considered greater then the emperor, greater then the empress, and even greater then your brother luca. It tempted luz, reaching into her mind.

"No!" Luz summoned a spell circle and shot a bolt of red fire at the leader whose barrier absorbed it.

The witch felt eclipse try to come out of her body but the human suppressed it.

"Look at her, she's bugging out." one of the men laughed.

"there must be something wrong with her? Do we still want her for the farm boss?" the other on said.

The leader smirked and looked at luz. "of course, she's pretty enough… she'll sell for a high price once we get her to the farm."

"I-i told you that I wasn't going to let you win." Luz replied grabbed her hand and screaming. She thrashed and writhed as she tried to control herself.

"doesn't matter what you say. We have a qouta to fill and you are the last girl we need to get for our pay… now come here." the leader said rushing luz.

The witch in reponse leapt high in the air and landed on the otherside of t he kidnapper as he fell face fire into a searing pond.

The man let out a bloodcurdling scream that filled his men with dread.

"you okay boss?" One asked.

"No! Grab that little witch." he ordered, picking himself up from the ground, the left side of his face was now red with third degree burns.

"alright you little witchling, come here." the second man charged and Luz once again dodged but this time one of the other thugs summoned some bindings grappling the witches arm bringing her down.

"Rush her!" the leader commanded as the group jumped on the witch while she was down and started binding her hand in the magic suppressing cuffs.

"Hey! Let go! No!" Luz yelled fighting in vain against the men.

"Hold her down!" the leader commanded as they got the cuffs on luz and held her down.

"wild little thing aren't you. Well they'll straighten you out at the farm." he said as he ran his hand down the side of her face. "if only they let us have fun with the goods before we turned them in. I have to say you have beautiful hair and your eyes are perfect…"

Luz bit down on his finger as he came close to her mouth and tore it off.

"Little bitch!" the man slapped luz and screamed. "haul her to the farm, fuck!"

Luz spat out the thumb and it landed into a puddle as she was lead away from the spot. Before the men were down the leader raised his hand and beat luz's head with his fist until her right eye was swollen and black.

"sir, aren't we supposed to bring them unharmed?"

"Untouched is the order, doesn't mean we can't hurt them if they get uppity. Now hurry up I want out of this blasted rain,"

Just like that the men lead the unconscious luz out of the rain and to where they were keeping the other girls.
