The BAU team enjoyed their breakfast at the hotel and made their way back to the precinct. Luckily with Garcia arriving out of the blue they had an extra SUV, now they didn't have to try and fit 7 people inside only one.

Having Reid back and especially on this case with them really helped the team work their way towards identifying the unsub and having Garcia with them in person and not over the phone made getting information a lot quicker and easier. By the time it hit Noon they had found more information it took them the entirety of yesterday to uncover.

At around 2 o'clock they made a major breakthrough and with help from Garcia they located where the unsub lived. They could't go and knock down his door and arrest him yet because they needed clear evidence it was in fact him who was the unsub and couldn't just go off of a hunch. So Hotch ordered Reid and Morgan to go over to the house and talk to the 'unsub'."

While Morgan was driving he thought now would be a perfect time to finally have that talk he wanted with Reid, as the house they were visiting was twenty-ish minutes away from where the precinct.

"Hey, kid." Morgan said keeping his eyes on the road.

"Yeah? Whats up? Reid said looking up from the file in his hand.

"How've you been? You know, being away from the BAU for 3 months?"

"Oh you know, how'd you expect. It got easier the longer i was away but it still was miserable. I missed all you guys."

"Do you mind telling me what exactly you did at the Pentagon? I know you weren't doing a desk job."

Reid took a second to think about what to say. He wasn't told to keep what he did as classified information. Well some parts were classified but just the more specific details. He just didn't know how to properly tell the rest of the team.

"You know how i told you before i left i would try my best to keep in contact with all you guys while i was away?" Reid decided to start out by countering with another question.

"Yeah I remember?" Morgan asked wondering where he was going with this.

"And you know that I didn't really keep that 'promise', going dark for extended periods of time."

"It wasnt't your obligation to keep in contact with us kid, none of us are mad at you for it."

"I know I Know, but you remember right?"

"Yes kid I remember."

"Well... the reason i went dark was because i technically was unable to really contact you. Even if i wanted to."

"What do you mean by that?" Morgan questioned now really wondering.

"My involvement with the DOD was a coverup for why the Pentagon really wanted me transferred." Reid admitted.

"Where did you end up going then?"

"They put me on a task force over seas in Afghanistan." Reid said.

"What?!" Morgan said now in disbelief. "What were you doing in Afghanistan?"

"I cant say who but hunting for someone bad over there." Reid stated.

"Damn pretty boy, that actually explains a lot. Why you are a lot more buffed out and tan. but it doesn't explain one thing."

"What's that?"

"Where the hell did you learn to flirt like that gain all of that confidence when you talk."

"Oh that, hah. That was a story i was going talk about with the whole group if they really wanted to find out why on." Reid said

"Im pretty sure everyone wants to find out how so you better get your story ready." Morgan chuckled.

"Morgan I'm just worried about how JJ is going to handle what i just told you. You took it so much better than i thought but if she knew.." Reid trailed off.

"If she knew where you went and did whatever you did over seas she could be upset with you for not telling her sooner. Right?"

"Yeah pretty much. I don't want to scare her and think she could have lost me because I don't think i was ever in a life or death situation. but... yeah.." Reid said starting to trail off again.

"Pretty boy."

"Yeah?"

"Use that confidence that you have so much of right now and just tell her. Exactly what you just told me. Don't say it in a way to scare her or upset her. Just say it how it was. I bet you she will understand, she loves you too much to think anything else."

"You think? It's just she means so much to me and helped me through so much while over seas without her knowing. I cant lose her."

"You won't. I can promise you that."

"Alright. I will. Thanks Morgan you really lifted some weight off of my shoulders." Reid said with some relief

"Anytime pretty boy. We are almost at the house lets see if anyone's home."

"You got it."

It turned out that nobody was home but the two agents searched the house and found some evidence that could possibly lead them toward where the unsub actually was. They weren't taking chances this time around and had all the BAU agents minus Garcia meet up at the location along with some backup.

They arrived at an abandoned construction site and although was small there were lots of places to hide.

"Morgan, you, Reid and JJ go through the middle, Emily and I will take the left and Rossi and some deputies will take the right." Everyone nodded and took off on their assigned routes.

Reid led his small team with guns drawn. JJ and Morgan was about 10 feet behind Reid, JJ covering their back and Morgan covering their sides. Right when Reid was about to go to comms and give the clear the unsub jumped him from the side where Reid wasn't looking and knocked his gun out of his hands.

"Spence!"

"Reid watch out!" Morgan and JJ yelled at the same time. Morgan was about to run and help Reid out but soon realized that he didn't need any help.

After the unsub knocked the gun out of Reid's hand he went to land a punch on Reid which he was successful at. Reid was now doubled over, the punch had caught him off guard and he cursed himself. The unsub however was relentless, He swung another punch toward Reid's head. Instinctively Reid blocked the punch and countered with an upward cut to the unsub's neck. He connected and watched the unsub stagger backwards violently coughing.

The unsub recovered almost as quickly as Reid however and he just became even more angry. He rushed Reid and started swinging punch after punch. Reid however was one step ahead and blocked/dodged every punch thrown at him. Reid decided to end it now and ducked the last punch the unsub threw and then use his leg to knock the unsub off balance causing him to fall. Reid threw himself on top of him grabbing both of his hands and bringing them to his bag. He then proceeded to handcuff him and read him his rights.

While all this was happening both Morgan and JJ just stood there, wanting to help but something told them they didn't need to. Reid had everything under control.

Morgan was very impressed. Based off their conversation from earlier he figured that was where he learned to fight like that. He even laughed to himself thinking Reid might have to show him a move or two because even Morgan didn't know how to do one of those techniques Reid did.

JJ on the other hand was speechless. Where did he learn how to fight like that? Has he always knew it he was just to nervous to put it into motion? JJ thought. While watching her boyfriend fight she couldn't lie, not even to herself, she was kind of turned on. She now knew her Spence was easily capable of protecting her and Henry and just the thought of him protectively holding her in his arms gave her goosebumps.

Once Reid dragged the unsub to his feet he handed him over to Morgan so he could escort him to a cop car. Reid brought up his wrist mic to update the team.

"Unsub has been taken down. Repeat we are all clear unsub is in custody." Reid said. He didn't notice at the time the little bit of blood coming down the side of his face from that first punch the unsub laid on him.

JJ approached next to him and hugged him. "Spence that was amazing. What you did. Where did you learn that?" She questioned.

"Learned it while i was away during those three months." Reid responded with a shrug. "You're okay right? the unsub didn't get to you?" Reid questioned. She looked like nothing happened to her but cared about her too much not to ask.

"Of course im fine Spence. Even Morgan was shocked with how well you handled that, especially on your own. I do too. That was extremely hot." She said quietly.

"Thats good. Im glad you're ok." He said and then gave her a quick kiss. When they broke apart that was when JJ noticed the bit of blood coming from his head.

"Oh my God Spence, you're bleeding."

"Oh I am?" He took his finger and dabbed where the unsub punched him and then brought it to his line of sight. "Well would you look at that, hah, i guess that sucker managed to land a nice one on me." Reid chuckled.

"We need to get you to a paramedic so they can help you." JJ said with a slight panic in her voice. Now grabbing his hand and pulling him toward everyone else.

"JJ I'm fine don't you worry. It's going to take a lot more than a punch to keep me down for the count. All I need is a bandaid and a kiss to make it all better." Reid said to JJ trying to calm her down. He honestly didn't even notice the cut on his head until JJ said something and besides from feeling a slight pressure where he was hit he didn't really feel hurt.

"I know baby but, please? Let a paramedic properly check you over and make sure its nothing serious? For me? I promise to give you all the kisses you want later tho." JJ said, slightly pleading with him to get himself looked over.

"Okay Jenny. I promise. You know I can never say no to you. I love you too much."

"I love you too much too thats why i want to make sure my Spence gets all healed up."

"I am going to hold you to those kisses tho. Those paramedics have nothing on the power your lips can do." Reid flirted

"Spence.." JJ said slightly blushing. She truly loved him and couldn't believe herself for picking Will over Reid at being her boyfriend.

Authors Note: Case closed. Im happy with the way i wrote out the unsub vs Reid fight considering it was basically my first time ever writing something like that out. Hopefully you enjoyed it too. Have no fear Flirting Reid is not gone he is going to come back. Also Reid will finally admit to JJ what he talked to Morgan about once they get back to Virginia.
