Chapter 15: The Comformitorium

I see you have come back for another chapter of the harem anime owl house… thank you and I am sorry for the cringe. The three witches gathered around Eda's coffee table and looked over the schematics of the comformitorium.
"alright we're in agreement." Eda said, pointing to the front entrance of the building. "Luca will disguise himself as one of the girl takers with me and Lilly as the newest additions."
"Got it." Luca affirmed.
Eda nodded her head. "after that me and lilly will ingratiate ourselves with the group and then find where they are holding Luz."
"and then we spring into action bring down this farm once and for all." Luca said, slamming his fist into his palm.
"exactly. If all goes as planned we'll have luz and those girls saved before breakfast."
"I just can't believe they reopened the comformitorium for black market slave trafficking." Lilith commented shaking her head.
"what is the comformitorium?"
"A terrible place… it was where Emperor belos would send witches who didn't fit the mold." eda replied looking over the plans for the prison.
"I wonder what is happening to those poor girls in that horrible place?"
"Look kid, there is no need to worry, we'll get Luz back. Safe and sound… I promise." Eda placed her hand on Luca's shoulder.
"yeah, we're family and we don't leave one of our own behind." Lilith confirmed placing her hand on the boy's back.
"thanks guys, let's prepare to get luz back!" Luca exclaimed as they started going over the plan again. Don't worry Lulu, I'm coming for you.

the atmosphere in the comformitorium was oppressing. Luz scratched another line on the note she was working on. Each word written made her sick to her stomach but she dare not voice her opnion because if she did then her punishment would be thirty lashes with a ruler.
"Come ladies! You don't write, you don't eat! You better make the high priestess feel like you truly Love our lord or else." the guard growled cracking a whip.
Love letters, you sick freaks don't even know that your lord is my brother. Luz was shocked to find out the farm was a cult temple trying to force girls to fall in love with Luca. Every girl who was kidnapped was brought here on the order of the empress.
Luz grumbled as she wrote the last word and shook her head.
The girls next to her studied their letters intensely checking for mistakes and inconsistencies. The girl on Luz's life was a plump witchling with black hair and blue eyes. She wore glasses and the typical blue and white robes required by the temple for all women to wear. She seemed nervous and looked pale, her stomach growled as she rubbed it.
The one on luz's left jabbed angrily at the paper scratching the finall letter on her paper. She was pink skinned with a third eye and crossed her arms when she was upset which was always. She mumbled to herself about how stupid this whole thing was.
The one across from luz looked like she had been crying again. She looked over her letter for the fifth time and wiped her puffy eyes with her sleeves. She was dark skinned with platinum hair and her robes were soaked with her tears.
We do not belong here.
To add to the witches problems eclipse would not leave her alone. Luz has been here for two days and every couple minutes eclipse talked to her.
Don't you want to go home?
Shut it, Luz thought, I can't trust you.
You don't have to trust me… just let me help you… we can return to luca.
Don't say his name, luz exclaimed in her head.
We can break these chains and kill these witches then we can take our revenge on the empress.
I will not give in.
You must realize that if luca wanted to save you he would be here by now
he will come for me, luz begged holding her head.
"psst, new girl?" The pink skinned girl asked, her name was boscha.
"yeah,"
"try looking like you are inspecting your paper… the priestess is looking this way." she said.
"yeah, you don't want to go to the comformity room." The plump witch said, her voice trembling, the girl introduced herself as willow.
"what's that?"
` "It's were they take the most troublesome girls. If you go there you come out a mindless zombie spitting out the doctrine the priestesses teach." Boscha explained shivering when she said it. "my friend kat went in there and now she keeps asking me to pray to this lord luca before bed."
"I hate him." the dark skinned girl said through her tears, her name was skara.
"hate who?" Luz asked, tilting her head.
"Luca, I hate him. It's his fault I'll never see my mom again." Skara sobbed into her sleeve.
Luz was about to defend Luca when a bell rang indicating it was dinner time and thus the time to give in the letters.
The girls rose from their table and walked in a single file line to show their letters to the high priestess.
Luz took her place in line and stood behind Skara. The girl was crying again and trembled whenever one of the guards looked at her.
Luz tapped her shoulder.
"what is it? Do you wanna get in trouble?" She whispered turning her head to Luz.
"Luca isn't that bad. The empress is the one who ordered you imprisoned. I know luca he's a good guy."
Skara scoffed at that, "Yeah right, I've heard it all before. Word to wise, luca doesn't care about us because if he did then we would with our families right now instead of writing love letters to him in exchange for our supper."
The line moved forward Slowly as Luz let skara's word sink into her head.
She's right you know. If luca actually cared then he would be here and he would save you… maybe he's busy enjoying himself with eda or he may have turned himself into the empress because she is offering him a better life.
Shut it! Luca would never do that.
Are you sure?
Luz ignored the creature as she advanced in the line.
It's your fault that your mom is dead.
Another step in line as luz tuned her out.
You told her you hated her as your last words to her. What kinda daugther are you?
Luz stumbled as that line hit a little too close to home.
Luca won't save you. You can't even save yourself. But with my help we can become someone who doesn't anyone… we will take what we want and if anyone has an objection we will crush them starting with the empress.
"shut up." Luz whispered on the verge of tears. Each step was another labor as she reached the head of the line. Luz watched as some girls were allowed into the dining hall where as others were forced back to the class rooms due to their letters not being good enough.
He'll come for me. He has too.
Does he?
Eclipse knew exactly what to say make luz doubt herself. Why wasn't Luca here when she needed him. Eda was a powerful witch and could cast tracking spells. She knew that this place suppressed the magic of those within but still if anyone could break it eda could.
The human was now on the verge of tears.
There there luz, I'm here. You just have to let me out… and we can go home. Eclipse said in a comforting voice.
"Home? Where is home?" Luz said, asking herself as much as Eclipse. Her mom was dead, her brother was somewhere in the isles, and she was unwanted here.
Home is where we chose to stay. Anywhere we want to stay is our home.
Luz clenched her fist and gritted her teeth. "no."
no? What are you talking about?
"I will not let you control me. You're a parasite… trying to take advantage of me. I know your type I've seen girls be taken in by abusive partners before and I won't become one of them."
you're making a big mistake girl. You need me. Eclipse growled in her head.
"no I don't!" Luz exclaimed drawing the attention of the priestesses.
"quiet in the back unless you want another lashing with the ruler." the woman in front called.
The luz turned gaze downward and ignored the feeling of despair in her gut. She was lost In her own mind and was for lack of better term scared. What if she never saw luca again or if she did would she be a mindless love zombie… she doesn't want to fall in love with her brother.
"what!? What do you mean my letter isn't good enough?" Boscha shouted from the front.
"first of all, watch your tone young lady. Second, there are too many misspellings, not to mention all your grammatical mistakes and your technique is just plain terrible. Now if you wish I can sign you up for some classes to help you improve but until I see improvement you won't be receiving anymore food." the woman replied in a bored tone.
"you can't treat people like this. I am a person."
"yes, but you are also the property of lord luca. In order for you to become free you must accept him as your lord and savior, be willing to do anything for him."
"screw your lord luca! I want to go home!" boscha raised her fist to strike the woman.
One of the guards used his whip to grab boscha's hand and pull her down toward him.
"Impudent girl, take her to the comformity chamber."
"No." Boscha said in terror, "anything but that. I'll be good, I swear. Please not the comformity chamber."
"Come on you." guard ordered pulling a screaming boscha away from the trembling girls.
I know what you're thinking… don't. Eclipse warned.
Luz shot out from the line and charged the guard she punched him in the mouth and knocked him away from boscha.
Luz helped the pink skinned witch up and the two ran toward the exit.
"Stop them!" the priestess ordered.
Luz and boscha ran quicker then the guards and managed to open the door but all they found was more guards in a dining hall eating they glared at the witches.
"run!" Luz ordered grabbing boscha's hand but she landed face first into the guard.
"gotcha!" he screamed picking both witches up and carrying them out of the dining room. The man took them to the high priestess.
"well it looks like it's two who are going to the comformity chamber. Take them away."
Both luz and boscha were taken to the bottom area of the prison which was a pristine white room full of chambers that were surrounded by layers of glass. Inside was a chamber with straps and a screen.
"No! Let me go! I don't want this… I want my mommy." Boscha cried as the guard handed her to one of the men who took her to the room and strapped her in the chair.
Luz was taken to a room clear on the other side. The guard strapped her down even as she struggled. He strapped her head into place to look at the screen.
"Now sit here and enjoy the movie." The man chuckled as he closed the door.
The screen lit up and the theatre countdown screen came on. When it counted down to zero it showed a serene scene of a garden inside was luca picking flowers.
"Luca is kind, you are nothing without Luca." the voice on the screen said.
The next slide is luca tenderly holding a crying child and lulling it to sleep.
"Luca is a provider, you are nothing without luca."

Luz tried to fight out of the chair but without her magic there was nothing she could do.
"Luca is your everything, you are nothing without luca."
Luz felt her head turn to mush. The room itself was breaking her mind.
"Luca is perfect, you are nothing without luca."
Luz soon started believing it. She knew that it would be easier if she just accepted it would all be over but something in the back of her mind told her not to.
"Luca is kind, you are nothing without luca." the projector started again.
Luz began doing her breathing techniques which would always calm her back on earth. Luz was feeling less light headed.
"luca is a provider, you are nothing without luca."
Luz stared defiantly at the screen.
What dribble, they really think they can break us with this.
"Luca loves you, you are nothing without luca."
let me out luz, we can escape and take our revenge. We can save your friend and all the girls.
"No, luca will come he has to."
are you sure about that?"
"Luca is your everything, you are nothing without luca."
I won't let you win eclipse. You're not gonna hurt anyone again.
