I do not own the Loud House.
Enjoy!
Everybody had a whole day to cool off, Lincoln dodged his family because he was afraid for them, he had never spoken to his family like that before.
He didn't know what else would come out of his mouth if he confronted them however in the end, he realised he couldn't find the hatred to be mad at them.
He indeed wasn't thinking when he used that Bike, it never even crossed his mind that it could be cursed or turn the rider evil.
He had been lulled into a false sense of security because he got new clothes.
And how could he think that Lynn deserved what happened to her?
Nobody deserved a broken leg especially Lynn, who was on her way to be an amazing sports star.
And perhaps...
He was too mean to his sister Lori, Lori took a lot of stress away from their parents by being able to drive, everybody but him and Lily had somewhere to be almost every day and yet he couldn't imagine his parents being able to handle that on their own.
And how many jobs we're out there, where you didn't come in contact with terrible people, daily?
And then there was Lori chat time with Bobby, in a family of 11 kids, how much love and attention is actually focused on a single person on a daily basis?
Lori partook in trying to gain Clyde's parent's attention even though she was 18, that spoke volumes to how much attention they all craved.
Yeah, he needed to apologise.
So when they were all eating and everybody was roughly in the same place he said.
"Everybody...can I have your attention, please"
Everybody stopped eating.
He scratched the back of his head and said. "About two days ago...I'm really sorry with how I talked to all of you. You were concerned and I was just thinking about myself"
And it seemed his apology burst something because Lynn said. "No, Lincoln. You were right." He was surprised and so was everybody else. "I shouldn't have gotten on that bike when you told me not to. It was just such an awesome bike and I kept thinking about the time you took my own. I guess it was my own personal revenge that backfired. I'm truly sorry for that" before she said. "Maybe I can ease up with using you as target practice"
They both smiled at each other.
Lincoln turned to Lori and said. "And Lori. I'm really sorry about calling you names and being mean to you. I said a lot of uncalled things to you especially when you work so hard to do you part in the family"
And Lori said. "Apology accepted" before she said. "And I could, maybe, get off the phone somethings in the morning"
"And we could cut down on our quirks in the morning," said Luna.
And then Rita said. "And we should have heard you, Lincoln. If what was going on was so much for you, there is no reason we can't take Lily in the morning. We're just so used to having somebody there, we didn't realise how much stress we were putting on you"
And then Lynn Senior said. "And we were so quick to punish as well. I guess we acted out of fear for your safety and jealously"
"Jealously, about what?" Said Lincoln.
"Those demons gave you something we always wanted to provide for you," said Lynn senior. "Do you think we're happy that we give all our children hand me downs with the occasional gift here and there? And here you are, you wore brand new clothes that demons paid for. It should be us buying you new clothes that you can proudly wear. We just thought you'll end up replacing us one day"
"Replacing you? Of course not!" said Lincoln. "Sure, they gave me new stuff but they could never replace how I feel about you guys. Your my family and they're just really creepy"
They all teared up and then went to hug Lincoln, everybody except Lily because she was a baby.
Lincoln was really feeling the love in the room.
And then they let go and Lincoln had an idea.
"Everybody, now that we made up I want to help out with the money," he said.
"Lincoln, that's nice and all but we're the ones who give out the pocket money," said Rita, as they all sat down.
His several bucks a week isn't going to help them at all.
However, Lincoln opened up his Archwood wallet and began taking out 20 dollars bills and placing them on the table while everybody looked at the bills in shock especially his parents.
Those younger than him hadn't even reached the kid's table yet when they saw him take out money.
Before they know it, Lincoln had taken out 2000 dollars worth of 20 dollars bills.
Everybody opened and closed their mouths, but nothing came out.
"Lincoln...how on earth?" Said Lynn senior.
Did he rob a bank?
"The money is from my other parents," he said stunning them all. "They said they were giving me allowance but I don't know how frequently though. The money is good for here and the Archwood world. But honestly, I don't know what to do with all this money, so I thought you guys would need it a lot more"
Everybody was silent as they looked at the money.
"Well, it makes sense," said Lisa. "If it's true that their magical entities, then making money is easy as pie for them"
Everybody turned to Lucy to confirm who was now visible to everybody.
"There are spells where you can make money," she said. "Like the spell to turn anything into gold. But it usually ends very badly for the person. However, I do not know about magical entities doing it themselves. Maybe there isn't a curse at all for them"
"Well, I've been using it and there haven't been any side effects," said Lincoln.
They all looked at each other.
"That's good enough for me," said Lana.
And then everybody went into spending money mode, you can buy a lot with 2000.
"Wait!" Said Lynn Senior getting them to stop thinking about splashing. "We will use this money to cover what we all need to buy and then we'll spend the rest on a family trip."
And they all cheered.
Their family really was back together again.
"For a minute there, I thought there was a crack in our egg," said Luan. "Get it, crack?" She laughed.
"Dude, you shouldn't say stuff like that, you might jinx it," said luna.
"Sorry," said Luan.
"Now, let's finish our food and then we'll make a list for what we need and not want," said Rita. "Well, be going out shopping for a few days starting tomorrow."
And Lincoln felt good seeing them all happy, being in a house where everybody was on edge was uncomfortable for him.
Plus he got a compromise out of it as well.
Maybe, he should be more honest from now but not downright mean before, his family weren't heartless monsters.
He waited for them to finish up and helped with the list.
The Loud list, was a nice family project.
When the morning came, Lincoln did his best to wait for everybody and everybody did their best to tone down their quirks.
Words could not describe how happy he was when he saw his mother with Lilly.
He helped Lynn get into the car, which she appreciated.
And Lori stopped talking on her phone when she saw him in the mirror.
They drove off and for the first time in history, everyone arrived with time to get to class.
It was strange to not be running but Lincoln smile was huge as he walked to class, his teacher seemed surprised to see him coming in smiling.
She then looked relieved.
Odd.
He talked to his sisters at break time, and at Lunchtime he sat and played video games.
Now it was three days that none of the staff had seen him eat lunch.
Lincoln went back to class and stayed there until the bell rang, he was about to leave when he heard.
"Lincoln, can you please stay behind?" Said his teacher.
Everybody looked at him before leaving, he came to the front of the class and they waited until everybody had left.
"Lincoln," she said.
"Yes, Miss Johnson?" He said.
"I just want to tell you, that my door is always open if your need to talk," she said.
"...Okay?" He said, confused.
"You can tell me anything" she really emphasised.
"Okay..." He said again.
"You can go now," she said.
He gave her a raised eyebrow before walking out the door and joining the rest of the students and Clyde.
What the hell was that all about?
"Well, everything is fine at my house, now. I'm going to put the bike away. It caused too much trouble" said Lincoln.
"Well, I wouldn't want a bike from another world. It almost ran over a kid" said Clyde.
They agreed to do something together and he entered the house, only to see his parents go out with Lisa.
"Thank you for the money, Lincoln," said Lynn Senior.
And then they walked out.
Lincoln went to his room and opened up the homework he had.
And that's when it hit him.
With all girls in the house, how long will it take before his parents had time to help him do homework?
He had been shopping with his sisters, they spent hours in one store.
He had homework due in the day after tomorrow, there was no way he would have time to talk to them.
And that meant he would have to do his own homework and just hope his spelling and grammar was correct.
No.
He would take to them tomorrow.
However when tomorrow came, his sisters beat him to the punch, they were lining up to talk to them and each conversation was like 20-45 minute long.
There was no way either of them could check his work, today.
So he ranted to Clyde on the phone about it.
"Curse the school system for creating a deadline in the same week!" he said, on the duck phone. "It's due in tomorrow and my sisters are blocking passage to both of my parents! My homework is going to be filled with errors, even if it's overall correct. And this isn't even the first time this has happened. There are just far too many kids wanting their attention in this house. My homework is 50/ 50 in quality Clyde. My best homework is on the weekends. Everything else suffers because I don't even have a clear view of them."
But then Clyde said something that made him stop.
"Lincoln, why don't you ask your other parents?" Said Clyde.
"Wait. What?" He said.
"Lincoln, do you know how many times we've had this exact conversation? 112 times" said Clyde stunning him. "And every time you complain, I say 'Don't give up' but it always ends with you not reaching them on time because of a sister. You end up having to hand in homework with errors and then, you're complaining to me again a week later"
He opened and closed his mouth.
Was he really that repetitive?
"Now let me offer you, a different opinion at last," said Clyde. "You have backup parents who your sisters can't reach. Do you know how insanely lucky that is? You should use them for the homework that has to be due in the same week. And then use your regular parents for the weekend homework. It's not like your summoning them to pass over, the worst they can do is say no. Those two must be over a billion year's old, can you imagine the knowledge they hold? I'm just saying it because it seems like a missed opportunity, but if you just called me to complain, then I'll stay on the line"
And Lincoln was completely silent for a long time and then he thing up.
Clyde had a point.
He had a mirror to call them, it's not like he was summoning them over like Lucy.
Plus, he didn't recall any of his sisters having the power to cross over realms.
But was he really going to do this?
He opened the door only to see his dad being followed by four sisters who want to talk to the man.
He closed the door and went fishing for his magical bag.
He got out a large and spooky mirror and saw instructions at the back.
He followed it and put it on the wall.
It stuck.
He then took a deep breath and said. "Call Dad and Mom"
He really didn't like calling them that but he didn't know their names.
The mirror lit up and soon he saw two creepy looking people.
"Oh, hi, sweetie. We didn't expect a call this soon" said the woman. "How have you been?"
Lincoln scratched the back of his head, feeling uncomfortable as he said. "Really good actually..." Before he said. "Hey, I would like to ask you guys if you can help me check my homework?"
Both of them looked surprised but then suddenly sported creepy smile in their face.
"Of course, son," said the man, making him feel uncomfortable again.
Lincoln took out his book and opened it to the sheet where he did his homework on and began showing them the book.
Clyde was right, they were chocked full of knowledge.
The only thing that made him uncomfortable was the 'son' and 'sweetie' part.
He really could use them for Homework and his family didn't even have to know.
Well, except for Lisa anyway.
He had no intention of letting their relationship go any further than this.
However, the law was about to come down on the Loud family.
And it will start from a simple phone call from his school principal.
And the scene!
