Chapter 19: Prison break part 3: Fall from grace

I see you have come back for another chapter of the harem anime owl house… thank you and I am sorry for the cringe. Sitting on the edge of a giant bed. Luca's mind was wracked with guilt. Everyone was here because of him… how could he forgive himself.
Something in the back of his mind tells him to give up… he's poison.
But luca was tired of feeling bad for himself, crying about his mistakes won't save these girls and that is what he plans to do.
He tries a spell circle once again and as always it fizzles. The room is protected by an antimagic field. He knew these zealots would do anything to keep him here. All he needed was a chance to escape and when he got out of here he would help these girls and get them home.
The door to his room opens to reveal the souless eyes of three woman one of which Luca recognizes as juno's daugther boscha.
"we have come to keep you company my lord." they said in unison standing at the threshold of the door. "may we enter your grace?"
Luca was unnerved by these woman and shook his head. "come on in."
"thank you your grace." the woman walked into the room and then kneeled in front of luca's bed.
"Lord luca, would you like us to read you our love letters?" they asked, a thin smile on their face.
"No, I need to think."
"Lord luca, you seem stressed… do you want us to use our bodies to relieve your stress." the woman asked.
"what! No! Stop it… you're people not toys."
"My lord, do you wish to punish us for upsetting you?"
"No! I want you to remember who you were and stop acting like I'm your master." Luca yelled.
Boscha's eyes blinked and all three girls fell unconscious.
"Hey! Are you girls okay?" Luca took a couple steps toward them pressed his fingers to their neck.
They still had a pulse and luca felt them breath. "I wonder what happened to them?"
Boscha's eyes shot opened and she grabbed luca's hand. The pink skinned girl screamed and squeezed luca's hand. "No! Let me go! I want to go home."
Luca grabbed her and gave her a hug holding her close. "hey, it's okay. I'm going to get you back to your mom safe and sound… deal."
Boscha held on close to Luca and then cried into his shoulder.
Luca patted her back and held her close.
"I-I want to g-go home." she said, holding luca tight.
"we're going to get you home… but I need you to do something for me?"
"what?"
"pretend that you're still indoctrinated and tell them I've seen the light and wish to see the best of my wives."
Boscha wiped the tears from her eyes and nodded her head. "Okay."
the girl went to the door and then got into character. She was a good actor as her three eyes returned to the dull tone she had when she came in. She ran outside and then came back a few moments later with the guards.
Meanwhile under the comformitorium both eclipse and esdeath are glaring at each other. The two pace around each other.
Esdeath breathing heavy with minor scratched and bruises on her body.
Eclipse tongue out appraising the weakened woman.
Esdeath growled at eclipse a jumped toward her with a rapier strike.
Eclipse jumped out of the way and landed on the ceiling. The symbiote began crawling toward the exit and then jumping down roaring at esdeath.
The woman summons a series of ice bolts and shooting them at Eclipse.
Eclipse dodges out of the way with inhuman agility and then extends a tendril to grab the biggest ice bolt and throws it at esdeath.
The woman stabbed the ice bolt but was surprised to find eclipse was already in front of her. She raised her rapier to defend herself but eclipse scratched her arm causing blood to gush out.
Eclipse then uses a series of fercious strikes which are barely parried by esdeaths rapier as she fights futily to defend herself.
Esdeath is on her backfoot as she is about to hit the wall. The woman has an idea to side step the symbiote.
When the woman tries to move eclipse uses her tendril to grab esdeaths leg and slams her through one of the comformity rooms.
Esdeath's back slammed into the television as the air is knocked out of her. The witch tried to climb back to her feet but a black tendril grabbed her ankle jerked her body toward the ceiling shattering the glass ceiling then pulling her back down.
The tendril threw esdeath through another glass wall which broke against her weight and sent her flying into the next comformity room with back against a cracked glass wall.
Esdeath's vision blurry watched as the symbiote jumped from room to the next toward her. It's tongue wrapping around.
Eclipse jumped down in front of esdeath and tried to eat her head but stopped then took a few step backs.
Why are you stopping me? She deserves to die. The creature said taking a few steps back.
My body, my rules… we don't kill. Got it! Luz voice echoed in their head.
Deal! Eclipse replied.
Esdeath used this as her chance to escape as she used an ice storm to conceal herself as she ran. Once the storm vanished so too did esdeath.
Eclipse let out a roar of victory as she began to turn into Luz. The witch ran to her mentor and picked her up and used her arm to leverage the injured witch.
"K-kid? What's going on?" Eda asked.
"It's going to be okay eda, we are getting out of here." luz said noticing that smoke was coming from the top levels. "Looks like they are having a riot.
On top of the comformitorium the woman inprisoned here were fighting the guards with magic as lilith had used her magic to cut off the suppression cuffs. The fight was going against the guards as the woman a pass to freedom.
The high priestess trembled behind her desk as she looked up she saw lilith stepping menacingly toward her.
"you don't understand, I was saving you all from yourselves. Lord luca is our only salvation." she stammered.
Lilith used her magic to summon a ruler and used it to smack the woman into unconsciousness. Lilith then ran outside to find luca being escorted by a couple girls. The witch was on the verge of tears when she saw luca.
Luca ran toward her and gave her a hug.
"I'm so glad your safe." they both said in unison.
Both blushed and immediately seperated as the riot began to simmer down.
The witches all left the comformitorium and Luca met back up with luz when the witch came out of the the building still carrying eda.
The boy had tears in his eyes. "Lulu!"
"Luca!"
Luca wrapped his sister up in a hug. "never scare me like that again." he said happy crying/
The two siblings held each other and never wanted to let go.
Lilith looked at the reunion with a smile as her sister crawled up to her.
"Look at Lilly, they're just like us when we were little."
"I know sister, it is heart warming to see siblings reconcile their differences. Which Is why I have to admit to you something."
"it's that you cursed me isn't it?"
"no it… how did you know that?"
"the empress told me."
"But if you knew… why would you help me?"
"Because lilith despite everything, we're family… I love ya sis."
"you two edalyn." lilith places her around her sister and gives her a side hug.
"Enough with the sappy stuff, we need to get these girls back safe… and you need to start practicing your confession."
"My confession?"
"yeah, your confession of love to lord luca." eda used the word lord in air qoutes smirking.
Lilith blushed and turned her head from eda. "I couldn't, I know now he'd never accept me."
"Oh I wouldn't be so sure." Eda said remembering that she happened to see inside a journal that she got for luca had an entry about how he always felt weird around lilith and definetly had a crush on her.
The group of girls returned to bonesborough as the day for business started. The horde of girls entered their town and soon were swarmed by people calling their names.
parents, siblings, and in some cases children were reunited with their loved ones in a grand mass of people.
"Mama!" skara yelled ran to her mother in the crowd tackling her with a hug.
"Mommy!" Boscha exclaimed dashing to her mother who poked out into grabbing her tight.
"dads!" willow exclaimed with tears in her eyes running to the two witches who adopted her.
Luca for the first time since coming to the isles felt proud. He had done something that truly mattered and he knew that if his mom was alive then she would be proud of him.
eda placed her hand on his shoulder. "you did good kid."
"Yeah, but I know what has to come next." Luca summoned a soap box and stood on top of it. "attention citizens of bonesborough!" his voice carried to the whole assembly with the aid of illusion magic.
The mass turned their head to him and began to bow in thanks.
"No, do not thank me. It is my fault these girls were taken… so if you wish for revenge then take it on me."
"what are you doing kid." eda asked trying to stop him but a wall seperated her from him.
Luca looked back with tears in his eye and a smile on his face. "take care of luz eda."
the town began mummering to themselves when boscha rose from amongst them.
"That's not true! It was the empress who ordered us to be taken to that horrible place."
"Yeah! She tried to brainwash us into obedient slaves of the asmodean but as we all see that is not what he wants." skara replied raising her fist in the air.
"down with the empress! Down with tyranny!" boscha chanted and soon many of the girls from the comformitorium joined was not long before the othr citizens of bonesborough joined.
Both juno and minerva walked up to luca.
"what are your orders lord asmodean?" Juno asked bowing.
"name it and it shall be done." Minerva added.
"I want all of you to go back to your lives. The empress is too strong for you to fight and I don't want anymore deaths on my hand."
"But my lord, she took our children… we can't let her get away with that."
"her time will come, I'll grow stronger and when the time is right I'll destroy the empress and hand the boiling isles back to it's true rulers… the people."
Upon hearing that a new chair echoed throughout the town.
"Hail lord Luca!Hail the titanson!" the crowd chanted.
I guess I have to actually think of destroying the empress now. I promise you mami, you will be avenged. Luca walked off with his sister and mentors then rode the staff back home. Once they returned luca went to his room and then went into a hidden compartment in his drawer. He looked over the papers and smiled… it was time to admit to lilith how he really felt. "I just hope she doesn't reject me too hard."
