Chapter 21: Puppy Love

Luca took in a breath and held it for as long as he could then with a violent shout released it in a shockwave.
H-how w-was that?" he asked, taking in a few steady breaths.
Eda sat on a barrel with her arms across and a bored expression on her face. "you're shout is still soft. you need to use your diaphram and let out a primal roar."
"hey what do you think Lilith would like for her birthday… it in about a couple days?"
"well she always loved reading spell tomes and grimoires… but between you and me, she's always had a thing for trashy romance novels… the stemier the better."
"thank you."
Eda winked at him, and then turned her head, covered her face with her gray hair becuase her face was turning red.
"Okay, Okay," Luca began to breath through his nose and focus on the anger he has felt in the last couple months. It had been three days since he and his friends freed the women from the comformitorium… but he needed to grow stronger. It was for this reason he had been training himself along with luz. The spell he was currently looking into was a sonic scream which would knock back your opponents.
Meanwhile luz was sitting down on the gorund with lilith beside her.
"now focus on things that make you feel calm." Lilith instructed, as she took in a breath and hummed her mantra.
Luz was quiet as she tried to focus herself.
This is stupid! Let's go hunt something! Eclipse said in luz's mind.
I'm doing this so you don't go crazy and kill someone. She replied, grunting in real life.
Bah! We can do what we want!
Then I want to focus. Luz said humming her mantra.
Luca focused on his diaphram as he took in another breath and let out the biggest shout of his life. The shockwave shook the area around the owl house as luca gasped after it was done.
"good job kid, I think you got it."
"Yeah! My bestie is the best witch!' Hooty yelled extending to luca and wrapping his body around him.
"hooty, cut it out… you know I don't like this." Luca said trying to pull away from the owl tube.
"Let me show you my love!" he shouted and hissed.
"O-okay," Luca said terrified of the owl.
"yeah, hoot hoot hootin with my best friend." hooty. Sung.
Luz's screams entered the ears of everyone in the owl house.
"Lulu? Luz!" Luca pushes himself out of hooty's graps and runs to his sister. Luca watches as luz writhes on the ground in pain. The tendrils of eclipse coming out her.
Luca runs to her and tries to help her with a healing spell but luz lunges at him scratching his arm.
Eda in reponse uses a sleeping spell to knock luz out. The tendrils calm and rescind back into luz's body. "what. The heck. Was that?" eda said, glaring at lilith.
"I-i don't know. We were mediating trying to help her control eclipse then bam… she goes nuts… do you think it has something to do with the spell luca just case."
"Yes, it may have a kinda averse reaction to loud noises… welp it's good to know this thing has an exploitable weakness at least. Luca! You're arm is gushing… let me fix it." Eda said.
"wait edalyn! I will handle this as it proper of girlfriend… ooohoohoo, I love calling myself that." Lilith grabbed luca's hand and looking. "oh my precious prince of my heart… how I hate to see you in pain."
"I don't mind, especially since I get to look at my raven haired angel take care me." Luca said in a flirting tone winking at lilith as she used a healing spell.
The witch blushed at luca's comment and gave him seductive eyes. "well if I'm an angel does that make you a devil tempting me into decadent depravity."
"Maybe, or you may be the one helping me find my way back to the light." Luca replied, once his wound was fully closed he noticed lilith's wrists with a couple faded scars from the comformitorium. "hey lilypad, I think I should return the favor. You made my wounds better now let me make yours."
Luca lifted lilith's wrist to his mouth and began kissing it tenderly.
Lilith giggled like a school girl as her face flushed and she had an enormous grin on her face. "Luca you spoil me."
"you deserve it, nothing is too good for my lilypad."
"well I'm your lilypad, then that must make you my frog prince." Lilith cooed leaning in closer to luca.
"Kiss me and find out." Luca dared.
Both of the witches lips smacked together as they exchanged another round of passionate kissing this one the longest they had yet, they took turns for dominance in the effort parting their lips for but a few seconds then returning to their display of passion.
Luz groans as she holds her head and looks up "what happened?"
"Lulu!" Tristan says finishing his kiss with lilith and running to luz. "I'm so glad you're okay."
"luca! Your arm! D-did I do that?" Luz was on the verge of tears as she looked at luca's arm which had a few faded scratches.
Luca hugged luz and held her close. "it's okay, I know it's not your fault and even if it was I forgive you… we need each other."
Luz held him with tears In her eyes. "I love you."
"I love you too lulu."
The girl smiled this was a new side of luca. He would never show affectionate like this before they came to the isles but now he was making sure he left nothing unsaid.
Lilith walke dup to luca and cleared her throat. "I still need to apply some salve to avoid the wounds reopening my prince."
"I wish you wouldn't call me your prince. It makes me feel like you think I'm better then you."
"But you are my prince, I love and adore you like any woman would love and adore her boyfriend… a boyfriend should be like to a prince to his princess."
"by that logic I think it's fair to call you my princess. Right lilypad?" Luca smirked at that.
Lilith face went entirely beat red and she turned her as she nervously chuckled. "no, I mean, it's not that simple.. I mean, I'm no princess… I mean.."
Luca placed lips on liliths and held her for another long passionate kiss holding and rubbing her back as her ran his hand down her back and then dipped her down holding her like they were doing a tango.
"lilith your not my princess… your my queen and I love you more then any man would love a woman."
"blegh! All this puppy love bullcrap is making me sick. Just fuck and get it over with."
"edalyn!" Lilith exclaimed and luca raised her and then took a couple steps away from her as his face turned read. Despite being okay with kissing lilith and telling her he loved her… he still wasn't ready for anythign involving nudity. Lilith would be allowed to wear underwear while in bed but she couldn't be naked.
Lilith knew that she would have to get luca used to her naked body and she had just the plan… she just had to wait a month for when the hot springs were at their warmest then luca wouldn't have a disdain for her body.
And nothing is going to ruin this important moment in our relationship… nothing. She thougth as she looked at her embarrassed boyfriend.

odalia blight took a few hestitant steps inside the garden of stone. It was forbidden for any of the champions to come here without the empresses command upon punishment of joining the collection of stone statues.
Hundreds of thousands of petrified witches and demons decorated the garden with fearful looks on their faces.
Odalia saw some green light in the distance and followed. Making her way through the stone pathway she turned a corner to see the empress using some of her strange magic on the statue. The the empress grunted and groaned as the statue seemed to be resistant.
Odalia waited patiently for she knew what fate awaited those who interrupted the empresses experiments.
With one last burst of magic the statue was blown to bits with a pulse of magic shooting small rocks all over the room. One shot out and would've hit odalia if not for the empress surging forward and grabbing it.
The empresses mask always gave odalia the creeps. She didn't know if it was magic or just creepy but she didn't care. She knew the empresses voice was the worst part of talking with her. It was soft and soothing when she was calm like a serpent but ti still felt unnatural to a witches ear.
"you have answered my summons, very good odalia. How is your writing coming along?" she asked crushing the stone in a single hand turning it to ashy pebble dust.
"very good my empress, I've written fifty love letters for lord luca."
"Good, and what about the problem I asked you to take care of?"
"Oh, the rebel sect has been rooted out and the prisoners have been taken to the dungeons awaiting your judgement."
"and their families?"
"inside seperate cells my empress."
"Very good odalia." the empress said sketching something in a spell book which lay open on a table next to her. "how goes the search for your children?"
"Not good my empress, I have heard nothing more from them and my oracle magic has turned up nothing."
"then maybe it is time to give up on finding them."
Odalia was shocked as a bead of sweat went down her cheek. "m-my empress, what do you mean?"
"I mean that it has been over twenty five years since your husband took them away maybe they don't want to be found."
"B-but, there my children… I need to find the."
"do you? I can think of an alternative."
"w-what alternative?"
"Luca is young and an adult. A witch can be fertile forever… don't you think you should focus on making a new family with lord luca instead of finding the one you had before him." the empress circled around the witch when she was behind her the witch placed her hand on odalia's shoulder then in that same serpent like voice she whispered "luca is your life, you love luca."
Odalia's eyes went dead as she just stared into the void. "Luca is my life, I love luca."
"good girl, now leave, I have more work to do if my plan is succeed… also when you get back to the castle have the staff send out the invitations to the ball and make sure eda clawthorne gets the special one I made for her."
"Yes my empress."
