I don't own anything.

Hello, there. SORRY for the long hiatus. I've been working on some new stuff. Hopefully, I will be able to write more in the future. I have a lot more plan.

Fourth, Down, and Long

In science class, Rocky, Aisha, Billy, Trini, and Zack are sitting in class. Billy and Aisha were sitting by each other. Trini and Zack are too. Rocky is sitting with a friend, Alan.

"Hey, Rocky," Zack said, "is it true that your uncle is coming to talk to Angel Grove football team?"

"Yeah," Rocky answered.

"Your uncle is the best," Aisha said, "I remember that time he caught us arguing."

"What for?" Trini asked.

"It was before we were friends," Aisha explained, "we really didn't like each other. He was just so needy."

"Like you were any fun," Rocky teased. "You were so bossy."

"Hey," Aisha rebuttal, "you were the one that told me that I was a clean freak."

"Well, you always told everyone what to do," Rocky said, "like, clean that up, don't put this in that. Need I say more. I remember this one time where I called you that and you splatter blue paint over me."

Aisha thought for a second and smiled. "Oh, yeah. I remember it quite well because you splash red and yellow paint on me."

Rocky let out a small chuckle. "We looked like primary colors, and we would've gotten to the secondary colors, but my uncle, who was picking me up from school, stopped us."

Aisha nodded. She added, "I got so angry, but then I looked at you and I just started to laugh because you were covered up in paint."

"Wow, that was a nice beginning," Trini said. "I think?"

"Joseph Haler," Rocky's lab partner, Alan, spoke up. "I can't believe you're his nephew."

"Well, Yeah, but I've always known him as Uncle Joe," Rocky said. "He did a lot for me when I was a kid."

"It would be quite an honor to meet him," Billy said.

"Okay, class," Mr. Wilson interruptted as he walked into the room. "It's time to put on the goggles on and began your test with your partner."

Rocky asked Alan, "Alan, will you read me the equation?" Alan read the equation, and as soon as Rocky pour in the first chemical, the beaker started to smoke.

"Okay, class," Mr. Wilson said, "don't panic. Walk in a peaceful line."

In the palace, Rita is astonished. She questioned why if the Rangers can't do a simple formula, why couldn't they defeat them. Zedd's too busy tossing a football to Goldar that he didn't listen. "Zeddy! Do you hear me?!"

"Of course," Zedd lied. Finster soon came in with a centipede. He then explained that it is one of the best thing he has crafted. Zedd tossed the ball at Goldar, but he missed. Finster volunteered to pick it up as Zedd goes to do the same. They bumped into one another, and as a result, Finster dropped his centipede on the football, thus created a monster.

The monster tossed its own football to Rito. Rito caught it, and the football turned him into a football. Goldar and Zedd tossed the Rito ball a few times before Rita turned him back.

"Aye," Zedd began, "You know what. I'll call you Centiback. Half Centipede. Half Football Player."

Out in Angel Grove High's hallway, Bulk and Skull rushed to Mr. Wilson's class. They wondered what happened. As they were tapping, Mr. Wilson asked if there's anything better for them to do. Bulk and Skill are watching over Rocky's uncle. Mr. Wilson suggested that they should get to it, and they ran off to it. As they left, they bumped into Alan, making him drop his notebook.

Aisha picked up Alan's notebook and observed the notes. "Billy, Trini. Do you guys see where he did anything wrong?"

Billy and Trini took a moment to look at it. "Well, judging form the smoke and this equation..." Billy began.

"...we think you read them backwards," Trini finished.

"Backwards?" Alan questioned.

"Yeah," Billy answered.

"Hey, don't sweat about it," Zack assured, patting Alan on the back. "We don't think you caused anything dangerous."

Mr. Wilson then spoke up. "Okay, Alan, unless you pass this test, I'm going to talk the coach and set aside your football game."

"But it's the Stone Canyon game!" Alan tried to defend himself in a way.

"I'm sorry," Mr. Wilson said, turning away.

"Wait," Rocky said, grabbing the teacher's attention. "What if I help Alan study to help him retake the test?"

"Okay," he agreed, "Good luck to the both of you."

At the Youth Center, Rocky and Alan were studying. "I don't get it, Alan. You're really smart, but I don't see how you can get it backwards?"

"I don't really know it myself, either," Alan said. "It's like words and letters were out to get me. I'm always seeing them upside down or backwards."

"I think my uncle used to have something like that," Rocky said.

"You're uncle had a hard time in school too?" Alan questioned.

Rocky nodded. "Boy, did he."

Alan then jumped up. "Your uncle!"

Rocky stood up and closed his textbooks. "Oh, we must get going." An idea popped inside of his head. "Maybe my uncle can help you."

"That would be great," Alan said.

At the field, Bulk and Skull arrived. They ran up to Rocky's uncle and asked him for his autograph. He signed them, but Centiback appeared. Alan and Rocky are walking, and they noticed the monster's presence. They rushed to Rocky's uncle as Centiback tossed two football at Bulk and Skill. He tossed one at Rocky, but his uncle caught it. One hit Alan and he, like the rest of them, turned into a football.

Rocky gathered the footballs and, angered, said, "Alright, you lace-face. You picked the wrong day to mess with me. It's Morphin' Time! Blue Ranger Power!"

In the Command Center, Zordon teleported the rest of the Rangers and Kim and Tommy in there. "What's happening?" Aisha asked.

"Rocky is in trouble," Alpha said, "Ay-yi-yi!"

"Rangers, Zedd and Rita have created a monster called Centiback," Zordon informed.

The gang looked at the viewing globe.

"Ew," Kimberly commented, "looks like that centipede could use a touchdown."

"Ranger." Zordon said, "don't touch the football he tosses at you or you'll be turned into one. Centiback has already four victims. Don't let it turn you into a football."

"Got it," Adam said.

"We might need to call Ninjor," Trini suggested.

"Yeah, especially since Jason isn't here, we are going to need extra help," Aisha said.

Kim creased her eyebrows. "What do you mean that Jason isn't here?"

"Uh, Kim," Adam began, "Jason left a week ago." Kim's eyes widened.

"He never told you?" Billy asked.

"No, he didn't," she sighed heavily, getting Tommy's attention. "But you guys need to help Rocky first."

Billy nodded his head before calling out, "It's Morphin' Time!"

-Billy- "White Ranger Power!"

-Adam- "Green Ranger Power!"

-Zack- "Black Ranger Power!"

-Aisha- "Pink Ranger Power!"

-Trini- "Yellow Ranger Power!"

Billy, Adam, Zack, Aisha, and Trini teleported to the field. "Now, it's a fair fight." Rocky said.

"You got it," Adam said.

"Tengas Attack!" Centiback ordered.

The white ranger, Billy, and green ranger, Adam, teamed up and fought against seven tengas. Billy held off three tengas while Adam flipped to the other side. The four tengas jumped on Adam, but he fell back and got back on his knees. Billy pushed the tengas off and kicked each one of them to where the other tengas were.

The yellow ranger, Trini, and black ranger, Zack, battled three tengas. Zack did a little dance to distract them. Trini tripped one of them down.

The blue ranger, Rocky, and pink ranger, Aisha, faced Centiback together. They were sync with their hand and hand defense. Eventually, Centiback knocked down Rocky and pushed Aisha to the side and spotted his first Ranger victim: the Yellow Ranger.

He tossed the ball at her, and it hit her, turning her into a yellow football. Adam acknowledged this and was tackled down by tengas. Billy kicked off the tengas before getting hit by the football and turning into a white football. Zack and Adam looked at one another. They gave each other a nod and both jumped up, aiming their fists at Centiback. However, Centiback kicked two footballs at them, and they transformed into a black football and a green football.

Rocky and Aisha both got up. "No!" Rocky exclaimed.

"Let's regroup," Aisha suggested, but Rocky shook his head.

"No, I have to take him down for this," Rocky said.

Aisha, worried, replied, "What? Rocky, are you sure?"

"Yes, I am," Rocky answered.

Aisha placed a hand on his shoulder. "Okay, I believe in you." Rocky nodded and then charged at Centiback.

Rocky ran through his tengas smoothly as Aisha cheered him on. Rocky made it to Centiback, throwing a punch at him. Centiback fell back and whined, "That's enough." He grabbed his football and tossed it towards Rocky, but Aisha jumped in front of him and knocked the ball away, changing into a pink football.

"Aisha!" Rocky exclaimed.

Rocky looked in front of him and saw that he was surrounded by the Tengas and Centiback. "Ooh, Blue Ranger, looks like it's just you and me now with these Tengas."

Rocky held his wrist up and contacted Zordon. "Zordon, Centiback has turned the others into footballs."

"I hear you, Rocky," Zordon spoke back. "Teleport back to the Command Center."

Rocky nodded and placed his hand on his belt. Soon, he teleported back to the Command Center and unbuckled his helmet. Kimberly and Tommy walked to his side.

"Oh my gosh, Rocky, we saw what happened," Kim said.

"Zordon, how am I going to defeat this monster alone?" Rocky asked.

"The Centiback monster is especially a fetish creation," Zordon explained. "It's unlikely you will defeat with the help of the others."

Alpha panicked. How was Rocky going to defeat monster without the help of the others?

Kim looked up at Zordon and asked if there was anything that she and Tommy could do. Zordon explained that there is no action they could do. But then Rocky thought of something. "Hey, those footballs are made of energy waves, right?"

"Right?" Alpha answers.

Rocky explained they could turn the beam backwards and reverse the spell. Kim was unsure if that could work, but she encouraged Rocky to give it a shot. Anything to help the Rangers.

Suddenly, the alarms went off, and Alpha checked and found the monster had moved the footballs in the mountains outside of Angel Grove. Zordon summoned Ninjor to assist Rocky. Ninjor teleported behind him, and Rocky quickly informed Ninjor of the other Rangers. Alpha teleported in two pails to help reverse the energy fields. Kim and Tommy wished them good luck, and Rocky yelled, "Back to Action!"

Out near the mountains, Ninjor and the Blue Ranger looked around for Centiback, as they carry the pails, until the monster jumped beside them with the footballs placed on the ground. Centiback assured them that they will be able to join their friends soon, but the Blue Ranger remarked, "Not a chance now that I can reverse the spell."

Ninjor added, "Yeah, it's fifth and down for you, buddy."

"No, no," the Blue Ranger said, "That's fourth and long."

"Oh," Ninjor said. He turned back to Centiback and continued, "Uh, yeah, what he said."

Centiback replied, "Ah, stick a pig in it!" He threw his football, and the Blue Ranger swiftly caught the ball in the pail. Centiback groaned and uttered for his ball to be returned. The Blue Ranger tossed the ball passes Centiback to the four civilians football. Bulk, Skull, Uncle Joe, and Alan transformed back, and the Blue Ranger contacted Alpha to teleport them back to Angel Grove. Once the four were gone, Centiback kicked the football to Ninjor, but he caught it and threw it to the five Rangers. The White, Green, Black, Pink, and Yellow Ranger jumped out. Confusion hit them at first before they realized the Blue Ranger and Ninjor had set them free. They quickly ran to their side and faced Centiback.

"Rocky, good job," the White Ranger said.

"Now, to finish that ugly," the Pink Ranger said.

Centiback whined, "Hey, seven to one. Seems a little unfair, don't you think?"

Ninjor spoke, "Rangers, mind if I have a go at it."

"Not at all," the Blue Ranger assured.

"Go for it," the Green Ranger said.

Ninjor pulled out his sword and channeled his inner energy. "Prepare to get touchdowned, monster. Evil will never triumph!" He sped through Centiback and slashed his sword, landing on a knee as Centiback fell down and explosed. "Victory is ours, Rangers," Ninjor adds.

At Zedd's Palace, Zedd sat on his throne while Rita watched the victorious Rangers through her Ritascope. She screeched, "Zeddy! I can't see this anymore. The Rangers are crushing us. We have to figure out a way to enlarge the monsters again."

"I know," Zedd said. "You don't have to tell me twice." Zedd stands up from his throne and walks to the balcony. "I have something for Goldar and that brother of yours to do."

"What is it?" Rita asked.

In the Youth Center, Aisha, Trini, Rocky, Adam, Billy, and Zack are all sitting at a table, talking and drinking their smoothies.

Zack asked Rocky, "So, how did Alan do?"

Rocky answered, "He passed. Fortunately enough, my uncle had some free time on his hands and helped him."

"That's great," Trini commented. Rocky nodded his head.

Suddenly, Tommy and Kimberly entered the Youth Center and walked up to the gang.

"Hey, Kim," Aisha said. "Hey, Tommy."

"Hi," Kim said as she waved nervously. She looked around to make sure no one was close enough to hear, but she talked at a low volume, "Zordon and Alpha informed us that Zedd and Rita can't grow monsters anymore."

"Isn't a good thing?" Adam asked.

Kimberly turned to Tommy, and he continued, "We're thinking that if Lord Zedd and Rita can't make them grow right now, who's to say that they won't be able to the next time they attack."

"And with us having no zords," Billy begins, "we're all just sitting ducks."

So what are the Rangers going to do? Stay Tuned.
