Chapter 35: A prisoner?

I see you have come back for another chapter of the harem anime owl house… thank you and I am sorry for the cringe. Groggily Luca opens his eyes… the boy felt a soft mattress under him and his head was definetly on a pillow.

"Eda!" He rose suddenly as he realized where he was.

"she's not here… you're safe now." a voice said from beside him.

Luca turned his head to see the empress sitting in a chair next to Luca's bed.

"did you sleep well? Would you like a snack?" She asked not rising or making any motion.

"I want you to let me go!" He shouted, glaring at her.

The empress tilted her head. "do you think you're a prisoner here?"

"That depends can I leave the castle and go back to the owl house?"

"I'm afraid not…" the empress said rising from her seat and walking toward him.

"then I'm a prisoner."

"why would you want to go back to the owl house? You have everything you need here… if you want anything then it is yours, all you have to do is name it."

"I want Lilith…"

"I'm afraid that is one thing I can't give… but I can send in one of my champions to entertain you. I think you'd fine odalia, lenore, or carmilla comparable to Lilith and better in some ways."

"Let me make this perfectly clear… I love Lilith and I won't replace her for any of your champions."

The empress clenched her fists at her sides and took a couple hard steps toward luca sitting next to him on the bed. She then reached out her hand causing the boy to flinch… she placed her hand under his chin. "listen to me… you will never see lilith clawthorne again… I will make sure of it. So it is best if you just forget about her."

"I'll never forget about Lilith!" Luca exclaimed, pushing the empress away.

The empress rose and made her way to the door. "you're slaves will be in after you've calmed to entertain you… there is a bell in the night stand… ring it and a servant will come to fulfill your request. I know this isn't the ideal condition for you… but I hope you realize that everything I do… I do it out of love."

"I never love you or your champions… I'm in love with Lilith and no one else!"

"you think I'm in love with you?" Empress asked, confusing the boy.

"aren't you, you go through all this trouble, destroy so many lives just to get me here… what would you call that if not obessive love."

"Luca, I love you… but I'm not in love with you… get some rest and I'll visit you again after you had time to think. Te amo, descansa bien" she said closing the door and locking it.

"d-did she just speak spanish?" Luca was shook. Who is this empress? How does she know him. Luca began to think… could be that she's my mami from another dimension… luca let the thought seep and the very idea that this was what his mom had become brought him to tears.
