Sup guys? Lighting Wolf here, back with another story, this one about Bioshock. Enjoy the 800-word chapter. I don't own Bioshock, Ken Levine and a few others do.

Big Daddies were not supposed to have happy endings. They were tools, people didn't consider them much more than people… They saw them as disposable, that they existed only to be soldiers, workers, whatever people wanted them to be.

That was true for the Big Sisters as well… Misshapen shells of themselves left only to the madness their mutations brought them.

Nobody cared about either, they did their jobs and then died and were replaced. Why should anyone care about a tool who's entire purpose was to be used and then discarded the second they were not useful anymore?

2 of said tools? Still clung to life despite their wounds, proving just how dangerous their modifications were to them.

The Big Daddy, an Alpha Class, slowly pulled themselves to their feet. Their mind a shattered cage of screams as always.

"Gmmm…" The creature attempted to say something as it slowly picked through the carnage around it.

Its shotgun was found away from it. The hulking brute blinked and picked up the weapon. It continued to pick through the carnage of splicers, most of them would believe the thing mindless.

It wasn't, the creature continued to slowly step over broken bodies. It growled here and there, but mostly? The only sounds were its hulking boots as it walked down the hall.

One of the splicers groaned only to be silenced by a shot from the Big Daddies' shotgun. The creature continued its path through the hall.

The creature didn't stop to do anything besides slaughter the splicers who dared recover from the massacre. If it was a regular man? The shock of so many dead? The pungent odor of so many? It would have driven anyone else into a mental breakdown.

The hulking abomination simply stepped over each body, pausing only to check them to make sure they wouldn't get back up to try and kill him.

The Big Daddy finally lowered its weapon when it made sure it was the only being alive… Least in this part of the building. It couldn't fathom what would cause such a hideous rush of bodies to be thrown down the hall.

Were they so addicted to the death and combat that they threw themselves into the meat grinder? The creature couldn't fathom it at all.

He wondered what would happen next. The hulking abomination continued to slowly trudge down the hallway. The creature hummed and blinked before turning down the hall.

There was a sickly inhuman screech which caused the creature to turn to look at it. He blinked and hummed before slowly starting to cross over towards the noise.

He wondered what caused such a noise. It carried its gun slowly while continuing to sweep the weapon over the building. He slowly lowered the weapon. There was much more confusion in the air.

The noise continued, reverbing throughout the very structure of Rapture. The Big Daddy could only blink under its helmet. He curiously continued to slowly trapsed across the room towards the source of the scream.

The noise was so familiar… And yet so alien, so inhuman in nature. It drew his ire at the very thought that the noise couldn't understand what would happen.

"Gmm…" The Big Daddy growled out and blinked before ending up slowly aiming its weapon around the room.

The noise continued to slowly up in volume. The Big Daddy looked around the room slowly.

"Hmm?" The noise slowly responded as the hulking abomination tilted his head.

The noise slowly drowned out which made him tilted to the side. He strained his damaged body which made him slowly aim the gun up.

Something clicked its fingers together in a metallic noise as it looked down at him.

"Yhmmm?" The creature stated and reached to keep reloading his weapon. He wanted to be serious.

Still? The clicking noise continued while the Big Daddy looked up at the ceiling and blinked. He heard the noise which made him wonder what could possibly make the sound of the disturbance.

He was greeted by a creature that dropped from the ceiling. It almost knocked him to the side. It made him blink under the helmet on his head.

The creature picked itself up only to be greeted by another monster.

Author notes

Phew. First chapter done! I want to point out that this story will be a slow burn and such. Next chapter will be in 2-10 weeks and will show the Big Daddy meeting the Big Sister and a battle breaking out between the duo and such. Until then, Lighting Wolf out!

P.S: Next chapter will be 900 words or so hopefully.
