Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Broken but not battered. Enjoy the 1200-word chapter. I don't own Bioshock, Ken Levine and a few others do.

The two snarling creatures smashed into the ground with enough weight to crack it. The Big Daddy smashed a fist towards the Big Sister, sending it scuttling backward like a spider as he roared at her, only to be greeted by her screeching as she grabbed his hand and shoved him backward.

"Mmnnnmm…" The Big Daddy growled, leveling his shotgun at the creature. "Whooo!" The Big Daddy demanded, his gaze upon the spindly being.

She titled her head, curious at the inquiry as he dragged himself forward. BOTH could see something familiar within the other, but neither seemed compelled to dwell upon this as they looked at each other with scorn and hatred.

The Big Daddy advanced upon the smaller being, balling up his fists as he prepared to punch her. The impact would decapitate another warrior had it connected, but the Big Sister was able to throw him backward with a psychic-like shove which made him growl.

"GHKKKLM…." The creature roared, more curious as to WHAT this abomination was than anything else.

It was… Similar, he could tell that he had seen these powers before from SOMEWHERE, but his mind wouldn't allow him to figure out from which it crawled. It was hazy, dark, constantly throwing the idea around like a ball within a cage. It confused him, but not to an insane degree.

Yet he felt like his anger was somewhat misplaced. He looked at the shotgun in his hand. The weapon was a tool of death, yet he didn't feel compelled to use it.

"HmBKM…" The Big Daddy Roared before putting the weapon upon his back and backpedaling.

He needed to focus, to force the shattered screeches of his mind back into place. The Big Daddy felt SOMETHING banging at his mind, but he couldn't contemplate what it was. Whatever made him think like this? It was not his memories, but something from the past.

"HKNM…" The Big Daddy hummed and turned to the Big Sister and placed his shotgun upon his back. "Fonnm…" The Big Daddy hissed as he started to walk away, curious as to what had come over him.

The Big Sister roared before slowly blinking as she figured once more that something was off… Yes, something made them far more curious than this, both had something to think about at the time. She leaped to the ceiling; they would fight again… But something told her off from simply continuing to fight here.

"HMNBL…" The Big Sister stated before she leaped to the ceiling.

She could only point towards him as he looked at her once more curious. He knew that they would look upon both each once more. This was not a win for both of them, their clash was interesting to both of them.

"Follow…." He hissed which caused her to glare at him with interest. "FOLLOW… ANSWERS…." He hissed, forcing the words through his damaged throat much to her shock.

He could speak, and more than that? He could understand that she was much more hoping to see him again just like he did. Their adventure was not over yet, nor would it be so easy. You could not part monsters in the same pod such as them, it was simply not possible in the grand scheme of things when one thing about it.

She reluctantly was unique like him, believing that something would come of this. It HAD TO, there were more things that both wished to know about this. They HAD to know more about their connection and where they knew the other from.

"MONSTER…." He managed; the word sounded…

Alien, Inhuman, like it, had been processed through a straw. Their vocal cords were supposed to be cut apart; words impossible to force through them.

'WHY…' The Big Daddy thought as he hummed and thought about these new thoughts.

Still? Answers were needed, questions to be answered, something to be sought out as he turned to look to the side. Curious nature aside? He still had plenty to reflect on.

Yes, he'd dwell on that at a later date, one when he didn't have to fight for his very life against such a similar creature.

"Who…." The Big Sister growled out, causing the Big Daddy to stop, looking at her with surprise.

It had spoken? He knew for a fact that things were going to be interesting. He hefted his shotgun towards her as the two creatures started to circle each other like sharks, eager to cut into the other with their weapons. She leaped downwards towards him, causing him to step back.

"Grmm?" Big Sister heard from the Big Daddy as he lifted his shotgun towards her, both starting to look like each was mad.

The Big Daddy started to think about what this creature was that was so similar to him. It looked almost identical to him, to begin with, but the similarities scared it.

He balled up his fist, aiming a punch toward the smaller creature, demolishing a table as his limb crushed the wood under it like it didn't exist. It leaped upwards once more, scuttling away like some inhuman spider as it went, whatever this creature was? He needed to know more.

He WOULD know more considering the circumstances. The Big Sister looked over its shoulder towards him. He was curious, slowly slugging himself towards it once more. It moved once more as he knew for a fact that things were far deeper when it comes down to it.

"Grmm…" The Big Daddy stated, slowly slugging himself towards her with interest as he turned to look with interest.

He took one step after another step, slowly dragging his bulk in the direction of the creature. He coughed a long very cough and then slowly continued the pursuit as he rushed towards her, stomping towards them while he shook, trampling everything in his path as he smashed through the glass and weak walls like they were cardboard.

"Hmm." The Big Daddy while he shook his head, his brain rattling around in his armored shell as he rampaged forward, cracking his knuckles while he rampaged around.

The Big Daddy was quite curious as to what was happening next. He kept his shotgun aimed towards the ground as he continued chasing after him while he shook his head.

"Grmm." He stated with amusement as he smirked to himself.

This was something that he could contemplate which caused him to crack his neck, eager what would happen when it comes down to it.

Still? He knew something was breaking sooner or later. He knew for a fact that something was going to hope for.

He clicked his tongue against the roof of his mouth.
