Chapter 44: A Little Charity Work.

Bodies entwined under the cover both luca and Lenore cuddled. The sun's light peaking out from the half closed window.
Luca held Lenore tight and felt her breasts rub against his chest and he could fell it heave as lenore ran her nose through his hair… sniffing him.
"you smell so divine Luca."
"Thank you lenore and you're skin feels so flawless it's nice cuddling with you."
Lenore smiled at the compliment and then a wicked idea crossed her mind. "luca… do you have a sweet tooth?"
"A little, why?" Luca asked giving Lenore a small kiss on the forehead.
"because I have an idea… how's about I strip down naked and then cover myself in whip cream then you can lick it off me." the vampire was excited by her head as she began to squeal.
"That does sound fun…"
"so you'll do it?" she asked expectantly.
"Sure… after you do five more good deeds." Luca added chuckling.
Lenore pouted as he said this. "how many more good deeds do I need to do to prove that I am sorry."
"these good deeds aren't for my benefit lenore. They are so you cans how the isles that you are sorry. You and odalia did a lot of terrible things under the empress and the people haven't forgotten this. The more good deeds you do… the more they see that you are changing… and the less they want your head on a pike."
Lenore sighed as she knew that what luca was saying was the truth… she shook her head. "Okay, I guess that makes sense."
"How's about this. Minerva and juno are taking their daugthers to read to the children of the boiling isles, you go with them read a story, and then I will lick whip cream off you… deal?" Luca asked rubbing Lenore's back making the vampire shiver under his attention.
"Deal." Lenore said squealling.
"Great, now send in odalia, I want to make her the same offer." Luca instructed as he removed his hand from Lenore who was moving off his bed.
Lenore took a couple steps away from the bed, her swaying hips making her rear a seductive target. Once lenore reached the door, she turned her head and pouted. "is it too much to ask for a little ass pinch in appreciation. I swear I get dolled up and put on my best perfume… it'd be nice for you to act like you want to ravage me."
Luca blew her a kiss and she smiled.
"Love you too." she said opening the door.
A few moments later out of the door comes odalia dressed in a green dress as she walked up to him and lay on bed with him.
"so what did you need me for?" Odalia asked her eyes twinkling.
"I offered lenore the chance to do a good deed in exchange for favor. I'd like to offer you the same thing."
"what did you offer her?"
"How's about for you… if you do this good deed then I will cuddle with you and kiss your body… completely nude." Luca said seductively as he smiled.
Odalia's eyes widened at his offer "you mean it!? Yes, yes, a thousand times yes, I will read a story in exchange for sex with you."
"Not sex," Luca reminded, "just kissing and cuddling. Okay."
odalia pouted but she then smiled. "Okay."
"Good let's get ready for the reading. I've got to get dressed." Luca rose out of the bed and went to get dressed and inside his closest he found a zip lock baggie with a pair of bright red silk panties with gold trim. On the baggie was written the words "eda's soiled underwear… for luca's nose only!"
The boy rolled his eye, realizing that he would have to count his underwear now because he has found out that eda has a underwear sniffing fetish. He shook his head… crazy woman you've got yourself involved with Luca… Crazy women.
The boy dressed himself in white robes and left the room as he met lenore and odalia in the courtyard. The group went to a carriage and sat In there waiting on juno and minerva. The two witches entered and slitted their eyes at odalia and lenore… there daugthers hiding behind them.
"what are they doing here?" Juno asked, her three eyes burning with fury.
Luca chuckled nervously under the hateful glare of the older woman. "they wanted to do a good deed and read to the children."
Juno looked at luca with an annoyed gaze. "you better keep them in check." she pouted.
"Juno, I will… hey, I know what will make you feel better." Luca grabbed juno's foot which was currently wrapped in a heel. "I know you have very sensitive feet." he said taking the slipper off.
He began rubbing tiny circles into the soles of the womans pink feet.
She moaned in delight under the boys attention as the carriage took off. Once he finished she turned her gaze from him and pouted. "you're lucky your cute."
Luca rubbed his neck and chuckled. Good old nocenda charm. He then saw minerva looking at him expectantly.
"I didn't forget about you. Come here." Luca gently grabbed her hand and lifted the girl unto his lap and began pressing his lips to her neck making sure he was gently to her soft sensitive neck.
Minerva giggled like a school girl and juno covered her daugthers eyes while skara looked at the two with a romantic wonder.
"you are such an animal." she chuckled lightly scratching his chest.
Luca smile and kissed her cheek.
The fun was over as soon as they stopped in front of the library and the sound of people gathered outside was clear.
"I guess the press is here to take pictures of the emperor." Juno commented obviously disgusted. "you should've taken control of them and then they wouldn't bother you."
"I'm not comfortable with that. A government shouldn't control the media." Luca replied thoughtful.
Juno scoffed, "it worked for the empress." she mumbled to herself.
"we're not the empress… we don't control people we help them." Luca replied and the door was forced open to reveal a horde of photographers and their camera's… a news van was parked in every slot as reporters had microphones.
"show time." Luca replied getting up and leaving first. He was lucky his guard was keeping the people back or he would've been swamped.
He helped his girls out of the car. Starting with the mothers and their daugthers who all received a round of applause.
Luca then helped odalia and lenore who received an exact opposite reponse. The guards were being screamed at and booed.
Luca held their hands and let them squeeze. He knew it wasn't unfounded and what these two did under the empress… but he also knew they were trying and that the best way for a criminal to relapse is when society doesn't give them a chance.
Lenore and odalia sneered at the crowd, if it wasn't for luca holding their hand then they would have torn into them.
Luca lead them into the library and saw that there was an equal number of witches and their children sitting in a circle around the childs room.
Luca let the daugthers go first… and that was his next mistake.
Boscha read a book that was about a young witch lost in the woods. She read it well and the children clapped for her but she chose to outstay her welcome.
"And remember kids, though the empress was defeated by our great emperor… she's still out there and we sholdn't trust those who still have loyalties to her." Boscha shot a hateful glance at lenore and odalia who flinched under her gaze.
The others in the room followed boscha's lead and glared at the former servants.
The next to read was skara and though she picked the typical read otabin. She read it well and made all the voices sound realistic making the children clap for them. Luckily after she was done she left and said nothing to agitate the crowd.
The next person to read was juno and she read an old favorite of a pair of witch children abanoned by their parents in the woods and finding a house made of sweets with an evil human inside. Tristan noted that he guessed the fables are made by the culure as that is a role swap of hanzel and gredle.
After that juno took her chance to once again stir the pot.
"My daugthers words still ring true… the empress is still a looming threat and those who worked under her were the worse sort…. They are not to be trusted." she glared at the witch and vampire who wore horrible frowns.
Luca shook his head at juno who took this as her cue to stop the story.
Next was minerva who like her daugther read a classic story about a boy and his hellhound going to a land filled with strange giraffes and having an adventure. Luca was thankful she took her daugthers lead.
Lenore and Odalia wore scowls on their faces and glared at the three eyed mother and daugther who just made their job harder.
Lenore decided she would be the first to read and went to grab the book. She was met with a chorus of boo's as she sat down on the chair in the center of the room.
"ahem, this story is called the little vampire boy." Lenore replied her timid voice drowned out by the jeers of the crowd.
"excuse me? Please stop booing me… I said stop. I said stop it right now you ungrateful ingrates!" she screamed her eyes glowing bright red.
"Look at her! She hasn't changed, she's still as a cruel as her empress master." One witch said, yelling at the vampire.
"Yeah, the emperor should've turned them into stone. Just like they did to our family members." another shouted.
"you are a Stupid meanie!" a witch girl said throwing a tomato from inside her pocket at the vampire hitting her dress and smearing It in red.
Lenore began to tear up and ran away from the crowd. Luca felt his fists clench as he grabbed Lenore's hand and pulled her to the front.
"Look at yourselfs!" he shouted at them. "is this the legacy that I will leave?"
"you're highness you don't understand they are bad… they worked for the empress… we all suffered under her." one of the crowds bravery memories replied.
"yes, I know… but so did I… I lost my mother to the empress and her champions but hated those who wish to do better then what they've done is not going to bring her back… I ask you people to look into your hearts and find forgiveness for these woman… they were lead astray by a false prophet and forced to do evil acts under her."
Both odalia and lenore's eyes open wide as they began to tear up… luca was sticking up for them.
He does love us! They both thought in unison as they tears started to flow.
Before the crowd could respond to luca's request the ground began to shake and the sound of roaring came from outside.
"Snagglebeast raid!" One of the librarians called running inside the room.
The wild beasts have been going crazy since they kicked out the empress along with her coven members who pacified the magical beasts.
"Everyone keep your heads down! Me and my comrades will take care of this." Luca said rising up and running out to meet the beasts. He was followed by juno, minerva, lenore, and odalia with skara and boscha being told to stay in the library.
Luca looked out and saw countless snaggles bests which were quadrepedal creatures with no eyes and big mouths filled with sharp teeth.
Luca looked around saw that people were still in the buildings and were being chased by the beasts.
"Minerva, Juno you help the people evacuate. Lenore, odalia you are with me." he said calling rushing the battle and aiming his magical sleep spell toward the snagglebeast nearest to him.
The spell cirlce shot out and hit the beast fell asleep in a second and fell over. Both lenore and odalia nodded their heads and felw around.
Odalia joined luca's lead and used sleep spells so the beasts could be moved to a preserve while lenore was using a skill of her magic to command magical beasts which she learned under the empress.
The battle was going there way until a little girl's cries broke through the chaos.
"Mommy!" she cried holding her face unaware of a snagglebeast prowling up close to her. The girl turned when a shadow was over her and she turned her head to see the beast opening it's mouth to snap her up.
She screamed and went into the feedle position but as the beast was about to swallow her it suddenly stopped.
Lenore flew down as a swarm of bats and used her power to make the beast back off. She turned to see it was the same girl who ruined her dress. Lenore surprisingly didn't feel anger or hatred toward the girl… just fear for her safety.
Is this what it's like when you care about others. She thought as she picked up the girl and flew away.
Odalia meanwhile was doing great with magic using it to make the beasts slumber when someone cried for help. She turned her head to see the mayor of bonesborough a portly man crawling away from a beast about to eat him.
Odalia used magic to put the beast to sleep.
It took an hour but the snagglebeasts were finally detained as they all fell unconscious and asleep.
Both lenore and odalia were surprised to see the towns people gather around them and instead of the scorn they expected… they received applause.
The girls reveled in the cheers and enjoyed themselves.
On the carriage ride back luca smiled at them. "I think you two have earned your reward… and then some." He smirked at that.
