Hi all! My name is TheJediOutlaw and this is my first published fanfic chapter! I'm very excited to see if others will like my idea, and even if they don't I have the idea in my head so I'll continue to write and release chapters if for any reason then to just have a fun hobby and stress reliever. If anyone has any issues reading my story due to font styles, I have friends with certain reading issues for one reason or another, please just message and I can accommodate and change it! Also this is just a short starter of where I want to take the story. Expect very long chapters later on as I am a very wordy person by nature!
Now I don't own My Hero Academia or, because Slaanesh forsakes me, Warhammer at all. I am just using the fandoms for a fun writing bit! Now on with the show!

Chapter 1: A Seed Grows
In a shroud of black and haze came a voice laced with promise and knowledge. The voice began soft but grew out and echoed with an almost aloof fascination at the words that would follow. "A name can have many meanings. Some lost over time and others have held onto their history. Midoriya is just one of those names that has seemed to hold on.. At least ever so slightly. If you break down the roots of the name and find the amber beneath the name has yet another way to be spoken, and that would be Green Valley. Now many would just assume that this name is just a name, and they would be wrong. To many older beings and entities a name can bring about both one's destruction.." With that word came soft whirlwinds and wisps of darkness and mist. They twisted and molded themselves into an image of fallen heroes and tyrants alike, and then just as they came they were blown back by a bright light and a shining figure standing triumphant in their splendor. "..or absolution. Even if the name was twisted and molded to fit culture after culture that sprouted from the original ancestor it still carries with it the power of the ancient family. Even with all the horrifyingly powerful quirks at their disposal both heroes and villains will tremble at the awesome might as the king rises again to defend his home, and all those who may sleep beneath its branches." The voice weaved in and out of the shadows of its own design. The entity seemed both anxious, tempted, and even slightly annoyed from the words that have been spoken. The tendrils of mist and magic slinked back into the inky darkness.
The voice returned with a seductive timbre to its own tone. Never once seeming to be malevolent or kind. Just curious to what may, and what will, happen as fate unfolds. "Now you may be wondering why I am telling you all this seemingly juicy information right? Well.. everyone has their secrets now don't they? How about you just sit back and behold the fruits of my labor and maybe soon you will be privileged enough to bear witness to my careful machinations." Then just as the voice came it fanished leaving behind a sickly collection of dully glowing blue eyes and a hideous laughter. As the haze lifted a metropolis was revealed. This is Mustafu Japan, and it just happens to be the beginning of our little story.
All men are not created equal. This was the wisdom that young Izuku Midoriya learned the hard way in his childhood. Unlike most of the children around him he had no special power that shot lasers from his eyes or that allowed him to call lightning from his hands. No.. the young boy only had small little antlers on his head and little cloven hooves to match. Not extra strength or agility along with them at all. Many of his classmates, including his best friend at the time, only made fun of him for having such a "useless" quirk. Names like Bambi, goat, and the one that stuck the most "Deku". Along with the names came almost constant bullying and attacks once the tormentors found out that his antlers could be snapped. Sure they would grow back rather quickly but it was still beyond painful for the young boy to endure.
Even with his mother attempting to comfort him in the bad times the pain still lingered like a festering wound on his psyche. A boy that wished only to be a hero slowly grew to despise those around him and almost always wished for solitude. Try as she might couldn't seem to break through to her son. Inko was beyond frustrated with the lack of help from the school and the parents of the rotten children. Her deadbeat husband ran out on them as he accused Inko of "sleeping around" as Izuku looked nothing like him at all.
The only solace that she had was her most prized possession, minus her son of course. A soft and warm stone of purest amber sat nestled on the mantle in their apartment. Both Midoriyas always felt a sense of calm as they were around the object. Whether that be from the familial ties or something else. Sitting in front of this family heirloom is where the Midoriya matriarch has been for quite a while. She had just picked up her little boy from school after his cute antlers had been snapped once again. Like every time it happened no one knew who caused it, or at least they weren't willing to tell.
The small woman looked at the egg-like object and seemed to ask it a question like it was a real person. "What should I do?.. This isn't a home for Izuku and he is withering away here.. No one cares if he gets hurt or if he even is happy! I need to figure something out but I have no idea.." Just as the short woman almost burst into tears the object began to glow faintly before it disappeared and reappeared in her hands on a smaller scale. The once ostrich egg sized crystal now was nothing but a small amber colored pebble in her hand with a vine lace necklace wrapped neatly around the stone. She thought for just a moment to put it on but.. Something told her otherwise.
The stone then shimmered and she was now looking out across a grand forest. No signs of civilization at all.. It was absolutely serene and peaceful. Then just as the moment came it left, but the mother looked down at her phone and saw a location that was brought up on her map app. The little icon pulsed on the Nagano Prefecture and in bold print read The Beast's Forest. "I've been there before.. If I remember correctly our family still has a cabin up there. I think a few small-time hero companies have also taken root there! Hardly any people and just a small school. This is perfect!" The matriarch almost screamed but remembered her son was sleeping. As he continued his slumber Inko got her plans in motion to leave the hateful city behind.
Now as the mother worked to get her plans in motion the boy she had worked tirelessly to make a better life slept and dreamed. Dreams never came easy to the young man as they normally resulted in nightmares of explosions, llaughter, and tormenrt. This dream was not like its predecessors. All Izuku could see for miles was lush forests, meadows, and fauna. Any number of beasts could be seen running through the trees but none stopped to acknowledge him.
The boy might have been sad at the slight but he had been too busy looking throughout the forest and enjoying the first peaceful dream he has had in a few years. 'I… where am I? Why does my chest feel lighter? Why am I taller?!' Indeed as the boy pondered his dream the thoughts struck out loud in his head as he noticed that his shadow was much taller and his arms and legs were far more muscle than any child's should be. Quickly the greenette looked down at the nearest pond he could find to look at his reflection. All he could see was a blurry image of majestic green hair and a face that was not his own. He couldn't identify it as the water kept the image blurred. As the child began to fear for himself a loud voice boomed throughout the greenwood.
Trees parted and green cast itself aside as deep and powerful steps made their way towards Izuku. "The king has returned to his forest it seems.. You have been gone for quite some time." The voice creaked and groaned like that of wind blowing through an ancient forest. Izuku looked frantically around and found no sign of the voice. "What do you mean k-king? I have never been here in my life! W-who are you" The hooved teen stammered slightly as he heard the voice chuckle slowly. The laugh wasn't cruel like that of the kids that were in his class. No.. this was one of only happy mirth. "I am just an old friend and ally of my king, and fret not.. Soon you will remember both your name and duties. Yours is not a destiny that stands idle… it never has.." As the loud voice tampered off a large foot of bark and root smashed into the ground in front of the child. Izuku could only look up and see a shadowed figure that stood nearly twice the size of even the tallest trees in the forest.
Dull amber light seemed to glow where the being's eyes might have been, and when the boy attempted to reach out for the first kind voice he had heard besides his mother he snapped out of his dream and frantically looked around his room. Nothing had changed in his room as far as he could see, but as the boy looked down there seemed to be ever so lightly drawn tattoos scattered throughout his arms and chest. Ever so often they seemed to glow a bright green and then return to their dull tone. As he feared something terrible had happened the boy ran out of his room and looked for his mother.
After the green haired child looked throughout the home he finally came across his mother as she seemed to have just got off the phone. The woman seemed surprised at the very least when she caught sight, and a hold, of her frantic child. The kind mother softly rubbed the head of her baby and listened carefully to what her small child said. At the very least Inko was happy it wasn't a nightmare, and the description of the woodland her son had mentioned reminded her more of the area they would be moving to. As the crying child finally seemed to finish all he had to say, the mother picked him up and softly hummed as she carried him back to his room. After she tucked him in tightly, Inko finally spoke to her distraught son. "How would you like to visit the forest in your dreams?" The moment she said that the boy almost bolted up but seemed to yawn before laying back down. He had a very tired expression on his face as he nodded softly. "I.. can we go?" It was a simple request as he fell asleep to his mother's humming voice. Inko nodded and kissed her sweet deer on the forehead. "We can leave tomorrow and never come back unless you want.. I promise.." The matriarch meant every word of her promise as she left to start packing. Once they left she planned on never coming back unless her child chose. This city has been nothing but cruel to them and she would first see it burn to the ground then give them a chance to harm her baby boy once more.
