And still holding a grudge against him for what happened to her earlier in the story. But then, after one of their arguments, Rainbow started to feel remorse for how she was treating him and decided to get to know him more. Will Jeff talk to her even after all she put him through? Let's find out. Disclaimer: I DO NOT own "MLP: FIM" or any Creepypasta characters. All rights go to their respective owners.

Chapter 7: Jeff's Story

As she walked downstairs, Rainbow could see Jeff. He was sitting on the couch looking forlorn. He sighed.

"Damn. My complaining really took a toll on him. I guess I should talk to him and apologize." Rainbow thought.

Once she was downstairs, she walked over to the couch and sat down next to Jeff. She let out a sigh before speaking.

"Uh, Jeff?"

Jeff turned to his left to see Rainbow looking at him.

"Oh. It's you." He said, "What did you come down here for? To give me more work? Or maybe to complain some more?"

Rainbow closed her eyes and shook her head.

"No. Actually, I came down here to talk to you." She said.

"About what?"

"Just to talk. Nothing more, nothing less."

Jeff let out another sigh.

"Alright, go ahead."

"Well, just recently, I've noticed that I've been complaining a whole lot and I've been too hard on you." Rainbow said.

"Heh. No shit Sherlock." Said Jeff.

Rainbow sighed.

"Which is why... I wanted to come down to talk to you and apologize." She said.

Jeff's eyes widened and he turned to Rainbow with a surprised look. No one had ever wanted to sit down and talk to him before, let alone apologize.

"You want to apologize to me? Why?" He asked.

"Because I just wanna make up for my behavior lately. I feel guilty and I've mistreated you for no good reason. I should've been more grateful. You did save me after all." Said Rainbow.

"Why the sudden change of heart? I chased you remember?"

"I know that. But I also know that it's never good or nice to hold a grudge. In other words, I just want to get to know you more."

"For example?"

Rainbow thought about it for a minute. Then got an idea.

"For example... I wanna know how your face got the way it is." She told him.

Jeff's eyes widened again.

"Um... Heh heh. Can you... Ask me something else?" He asked.

"Well, I don't know what else I can ask you, so no I can't."

Jeff sighed in defeat.

"Well, okay. I'll tell you. But I'm gonna warn you; there's no happy ending." He said.

"Remember Jeff, you cannot afford to tell her or anyone else that you used to be a mass murderer. So you better come up with a convincing story or else she and everyone else won't trust you." He thought.

Just then, Rainbow's voice brought him back to reality.

"Uh, Jeff? Are you alright?" She asked.

"Oh, yeah. I just... spaced out for a moment."

The former serial killer cleared his throat.

"It began like this." He began.

~Flashback~

A carriage was coming from Canterlot and was going through the desert. Inside were a family of pegasi. The father was black with a gray mane and tail. He had green eyes. The mother was light brown with blue eyes and a pink mane and tail. The children were two brothers. The older pegasus foal was brown and had a brown mane and tail and had blue eyes just like his mother. The younger foal was black and also had a brown mane and tail. He also had green eyes just like his father.

"That was a great Grand Galloping Gala, wasn't it, honey?" The father asked.

"It sure was, sweetie." The mother replied.

She turned to the two boys.

"What do you think, boys? Did you have a great time?"

"We sure did, Mom. You and Dad got to dance and I got to show off my knife collection. It was perfect in every way." The first foal said.

The parents looked at each other, then back at their son.

"Sure, Jeff. But I really don't know why you had to bring that to the gala." Said Jeff's father.

"Oh stop, Peter. You know Jeff loves to show off his collection to everypony." Said Jeff's mother.

"It doesn't bother me either." The younger foal said, "If he likes collecting knives, so be it. It is his talent after all."

"You're darn right, Liu." Said Jeff.

The older foal then started to tickle his little brother. Then before they knew it, they got into a tickle fight. Peter cleared his throat which caused them to stop.

"Be very careful, you two." He said, "Remember, there is a huge bottle of bleach sitting above you. We wouldn't want that to get spilled on any of us now do we?"

"Yes, Dad." The boys said.

Suddenly, the carriage stopped. The family was surprised and confused.

"Huh? That's strange." Peter said.

"What is it, Daddy?" Asked Liu.

"It seems we've stopped."

"We can't possibly be there yet, can we?" Margaret asked.

"I don't think so, honey." Peter said, "I'll get out and have a talk with the carriage ponies. See what's the hold up."

The stallion got out of his seat and walked towards the door.

"Be careful, Dad." Jeff said.

Peter looked back at his son with a small smile.

"Don't worry, son. I will be." He assured him.

Peter walked out of the carriage and closed the door. For a moment, there was silence. Suddenly, the mare and the two foals heard a gunshot and a cry of pain. They then heard talking outside. The door shot open to reveal a stallion wearing a blue shirt, a red scarf, and a cowboy hat. With him were two other stallions each wearing different shirts and scarves. They also had pistols. Margaret and her sons were scared.

"Surprise." The first stallion said.

"Who are you and what did you do with my husband?!" Margaret cried.

The stallion chuckled.

"Glad you asked." He said, "You see, we're muggers. And pretty damn dangerous ones at that. The carriage ponies and your husband tried to resist and fight us off. And we don't take kindly to anyone who resists us. So, when they did... well... let's just say they won't be joining us for the rest of their lives."

"You mean..."

"That's right. We killed them."

You murderers!" Liu cried, angrily.

The stallion knelt to his height with a condescending smile.

"And are you gonna try and stop us, small fry?" He asked, mockingly.

Liu spat in his face causing him to reel back.

"Go to hell!" Liu shouted.

The stallion laughed and pulled out his gun. He points it towards the foal's head.

"Now that wasn't very nice, now was it?"

BANG!

Liu fell dead to the floor. His mother screamed while his brother ran to his side, trying to wake him but to no avail. The stallion then aimed his pistol at Jeff. Margaret gasped in horror.

"Now the other one!"

"NO!"

BANG!

When Jeff opened his eyes, he noticed that he didn't get shot. So who did? One look down gave him the answer.

"MOMMY!"

He rushed to his mother's side but got picked up by one of the stallions. He was holding him by the hair. He brought him to the leader's face.

"Now what should we do with this little runt?" He asked.

The leader was about to say something, but was interrupted by the third stallion.

"Hey, boss. This kid's got a lotta knives. He must be a collector or something." He said as he pulled out one of the knives.

"Should we kill him with it, boss?" The second one asked.

The leader chuckled.

"No. No, no. Let's humiliate him before he dies. I want him to suffer." He said.

And with that, he took the knife from his comrade and walked towards the scared foal with it. When he got close, he did the unthinkable; he carved a smile into the boy's cheeks despite his cries of pain.

"Now whaddya think of that pretty face of yours now, boy?"

Infuriated, Jeff kicked the knife out of the assailant's hooves, caught it, and stabbed him in the eye. The stallion screamed in pain. The stallion that was holding Jeff threw him into the wall, causing the container of bleach to fall on top of him, spilling everywhere. The leader took the knife out of his eye and looked at the foal in anger. The third stallion picked up the knife and started walking towards Jeff, but was stopped by the leader.

"No." The leader said, "He won't die like that. He deserves something worse than a stabbing. We're going to burn him alive."

Jeff was frozen with fear when he saw the leader take out a cigar and lit it. While smoking it, he looked at him evilly.

"Well, you know what they say, kid. An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth." He said.

After saying that, the leader flicked his cigar at Jeff. As soon as it touched him, it ignited the bleach and he soon caught fire. The three stallions ran away as quickly as they came. Jeff ran out of the carriage screaming his head off. He tried to roll out the flames, but it was no use. He ran around screaming as he was burning.

~End of Flashback~

Rainbow was both shocked and saddened by Jeff's story. He never that somepony let alone somepony like him went through that kind of turmoil.

"Lucky for me, someone else found me and heard my screams." Jeff began, "It took them a while, but they eventually put me out. I passed out after that. When I came to, I woke up in another carriage that was taking me to Ponyville. I asked my rescuers what happened and they told me I was burning alive but they managed to put me out in time. Then they gave me a mirror so I could see my face and well... Well, look at me. As if the smile cut into my face wasn't bad enough, my fur had been burned to a pure white and my eyelids were burned away too. My fur and skin have a leathery feel to them now."

Curious, Rainbow touched Jeff's face and realized that he was correct. She gasped in shock.

"My mane and tail were also affected by the fire. They singed from brown to black. That's the story."

Before Jeff knew it, Rainbow started crying and he sighed.

sigh* I should've known that telling you that story was a bad idea." He said.

Then all of a sudden, what happened next surprised him beyond belief. Rainbow suddenly pulled him into a hug while crying.

"I... I'm so sorry, Jeff. I didn't know." She said, "How come you didn't tell me or anypony else about this?"

"Well, no one asked me about it." Said Jeff.

"Again, I'm really sorry."

"It's okay, it's not your fault."

"It's my fault for being mean to you without getting a chance to know you first. I promise I will treat you better. Like not just my savior, but my friend as well." Rainbow said.

Suddenly, Jeff returned the hug.

"You know, no one has ever treated me like a friend before." He said.

"Well, you have friends now." Said Rainbow, "Me, Twilight, and the others will be there for you. Just like you're there for me."

Jeff almost teared up at that comment. The duo broke the hug and looked at each other in the eyes.

"Let's promise to treat each other better. How does that sound?" Rainbow asked.

"Sounds good to me, Rainbow." Said Jeff.

Author's Note: That was a great chapter, wasn't it? Sorry if it's kinda crappy and rushed. Anyway, I have a feeling Jeff and Rainbow will get along just fine. Forgive me if Jeff's fake backstory was too sad. Hope you're enjoying the story so far and hope you enjoyed this chapter. Please be sure to read and review and be sure to keep watch for the next chapter. Constructive criticism is welcome. Until then, see you later, everypony!
