In this AU, Phantom and Danny are separated. Phantom slowly falls in love with Danny while Danny develops a huge crush on Phantom. How will things go out?
Danny POV
As I was walking with Sam and Tucker to school, I had a feeling that something was happening.
And I was kind of right; everyone was talking nonstop about how prom is going to go.
Up until now, I didn't like Paulina anymore after the last time I went with her, so I'm staying single. (for now)
Anyway, every boy was asking Paulina out since she was still popular in high school, but of course, she rejects everyone.
I rolled my eyes and tried to walk right past her.
Big mistake...
As soon as I did, everyone stopped what they were doing.
The boys were shocked, the girls stopped talking or using makeup, my best friends' mouths dropped, and Paulina was startled.
I was confused until she grabbed me and said, "Well?!"
I tilt my head, and she continued, "Aren't you going to ask me out?!"
"Um, I think you got confused with me with someone else," I said, shoving her and walking away.
I didn't need to see Paulina's face to realize that I just humiliated her.
"Dude, that was just savage!" Sam said, still shocked.
Tucker couldn't even say anything, too awe of what I just did.
"Omg, she's going to be embarrassed for who knows how long!" Sam said while laughing.
I rolled my eyes, grabbed my things from my locker, and headed to Mr. Lancer's class.
He was surprised to see me but paid no mind to the change.
"Aw, Fenton, did you-"
"Have the paper from yesterday? Yes, yes I have. Here you go," I said, handing the paper.
He read through it and was impressed.
"I see you took your time with this, Fenton. Well done," He said, giving me an A-.
I don't mind it at all; as long as I get only A's and B's, I'll be okay.
I sat down to my usual spot with Sam and Tucker a bit further away.
Soon, the rest of the students came in, still talking about what happened this morning.
'Ugh, people and gossip nowadays,' I thought, rolling my eyes.
"Order, order!" Mr. Lancer said, shutting everyone up.
As he took attendance and started teaching, I looked out a window for a few seconds and saw him.
'Phantom...' I thought, dumbly in love again.
I sigh happily as he waved at me before going away.
I paid back attention to Mr. Lancer just in a nick of time.
'Damn, he almost caught me back there...' I thought, mildly embarrassed.
I couldn't help but release a sigh as I was lovestruck once again.
'I wish that I could help Phantom instead of being here...' I thought.
Soon, the class was over, and by my next class, I thought that things were going well.
Oh, how wrong I was...
I sat down in class, waiting for the math teacher, and then, unexpectedly, Paulina shows up.
'What does she want now?' I thought, sensing trouble.
She twirled her hair and started flirting with me.
I gave a disgusted look and told her to back off.
She, again, was offended, but then the teacher was there.
'Thank god,' I thought.
"What are you doing here, Paulina? Don't you have a class to go to?" Mr. Fallucas said.
I can tell that she was humiliated again, but I didn't want to push my luck.
Suddenly, the wall broke into pieces, and I saw Phantom on the floor.
Everyone ran out to get to safety except me.
I rushed over to Phantom and heard laughter.
'Fruitloops,' I thought, eyes narrowing.
"Oh my, looks like I caught two badgers," He said, laughing maniacally.
I hissed at him, and, on cue, Sam and Tucker came with a bunch of ecto guns.
He snarled, giving us a hated glare, and then left.
I heard Phantom groaning, and my instincts kicked in.
"Sam, get the bandages. Tucker, make sure no one gets in, I'll hold off the blood as long as I can," I commanded, leaving the two with the task.
I took off my shirt and hold down the bleeding to slow it down.
It did help a bit, and I did have an undershirt underneath, but here goes my shirt.
"Danny?" Phantom mumbled.
"Yeah, I'm here. Don't waste your energy," I said, looking down on him.
Sam came back and gave me the bandages while taking care of Phantom's other parts.
I removed my shirt and began to bandage Phantom's chest while Sam started with the head.
"Uh, guys, I think we have a problem," Tucker said, trying to hold the door.
Sam and I looked at each other quickly, and, telepathically, she got up to help Tucker.
I, on the other hand, wrapped faster and was done sooner than later.
"Can you fly?" I asked, not knowing if he was awake still.
He mumbled, but I didn't hear.
'Damn it, looks like I'll have to go for it,' I thought.
"Sam, Tucker-"
"Go! We'll be fine!" Sam shouted, still holding the door.
I nodded, gave a piggyback to Phantom, and ran as fast as I could.
I spun like crazy to get away from many people, trying to avoid them.
I get that he has a lot of Phans but damn! Space, people!
Once we were alone, I called Ember to get Phantom.
And, in a few minutes, Ember did come.
She took one look at Phantom and knew what happened.
"Rough battle?" She asked, eyebrow rising.
I nodded once, and with that, she took Phantom away to the Ghost Zone.
'Hopes he gets better,' I thought, running back to school.
'I hope I'm not in trouble...'
'... And I'm in trouble...'
I'm in the cafeteria without a shirt, again, I have an undershirt, and people were swarming with questions.
"Where's Phantom?"
"What happened?"
"Is he going to be okay?!"
"Who was the other ghost?"
I couldn't take any more of it and be about to shout at them until I heard Dash said, "Hey, leave him alone!"
And, just like that, everyone left quickly.
I thought I was going to get into more trouble, but Dash patted my back and said, "Nice work, Fenturd."
Then, he straight up left.
I was confused, shocked, and surprised at the same time.
'What the heck just happened?' I thought, turning over to see Dash.
'This is just getting weirder and weirder...'
I walked with Sam and Tucker, which I owe them big time, and we chatted a bit.
"I owe you one," I said, knowing that Sam and Tucker wouldn't want anything back.
"No, Danny. It's fine, really," Sam reassured.
"Yeah, dude. You got close with your crush. Of course, you owe us nothing," Tucker said, smirking.
I blushed, and we went back to our usual day despite Mr. Falluca's room ruined.
Time skip, prom night
Danny POV
'How did I get here in the first place?' I thought, clearly bored.
'How, and why, did Sam and Tucker convinced me to go with them?' I mentally groan.
'At least they're having fun. And look at me-'
"OMG is that Phantom?!" A girl shouted, making all of us look at him.
The Phans went to him while I stayed behind, not wanting to get more attention.
I heard Phantom excusing himself from everyone politely and then rushed over to me.
"What-"
Before I could finish my sentence, he took my hand and flew us out of here.
"W-Whoa!" I shrieked, clinging onto Phantom. He chuckled and hold me tightly.
Once we got down, I saw a picnic set, the lake nearby, and the beautiful stars above us.
"Phantom..." I mumbled, blushing again.
"Heh, it's my way of saying thanks for helping me back there. Besides, Sam and Tucker were in it as well," He said, turning the music on.
'So that's why!' I thought, blushing more as he wrapped his arm around me.
I nervously wrapped my hands around his neck, and we danced slowly.
Gently, I placed my head to his chest and closed my eyes.
I heard him laugh a bit, but I didn't mind.
We danced underneath the stars until the music was almost over.
He lifted my head to see his face before kissing me.
Kissing me!
I stood still after he moved away, smiling.
"I love you, Fenton," He said before kissing me again.
I tensed but didn't hesitate the second time.
We started making out as he pressed us to the ground, holding me firmly.
"Mm~," I moaned before he moved away again.
"You're so cute~"
"S-Shut up!"
"Hehe..."
We stared at each other's eyes before smiling.
"Love you too," I said, smiling.
'And always will...'
Fun fact- For those who don't know how is Mr. Falluca, he's a Math teacher at Casper high.
