Episode 7 – Now I Have To Bring Out The Frying Pan, Part 1

Finally, I'm finished. This chapter is going to be a very important one. You'll see.

Previously on the Amazing Race: Video Game Edition, eight teams set out from the Land of Termina and raced all the way to the Kanto Region in the Pokémon World. Before the leg began, Pokémon Trainer partied hard at the Carnival of Time…

"WOO HOO! YEAH BABY!" cried P.T., laughing like a maniac while dumping a bucket of water all over Kirby and Mario. He was also shown drinking tons of milkshakes at the Milk Bar.

Neglecting to set the alarm, him and Lucario overslept and missed their departure time.

"OH MY GOSH!" P.T. yelled after getting out of bed. "Lucario, I set the alarm wrong! We are so dead now!"

Lucario's eyes suddenly widened. "What!? Oh no, you've got to be kidding me!"

At the space colony, Fox & Krystal created a final three alliance with Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi…

"Here's to a successful win," said Krystal, beckoning everyone to put their hands together.

3, 2, 1…

"FINAL THREE!" all six of them cheered.

meanwhile, Ness & Lucas felt screwed over by Fox & Krystal when they bough tickets for the Mario Bros and not them.

"But what about us?" said Lucas. "Didn't y'all get tickets for us?"

"Sorry Lucas," said Fox, shaking his head.

"We just didn't see you in the back of the line like Mario & Luigi," said Krystal.

'Yeah right," said Ness, unconvinced.

During the Detour, some teams had a blast riding their bikes around Pallet Town…

Peach & Daisy were shown riding their bikes in their underwear while a bunch of Squirtle were using Water Gun on them.

"Woo hoo!" said Peach, getting drenched. "This is fun! So refreshing!"

while other teams bickered while plowing the fields.

"Quit feeding the Tauros more sugar you moron!" Bowser yelled while pushing the plow.

"It's not my fault it's mouth is faster than my hand!" said Bowser Jr. while the Tauros sucked on the sugar cube in his hand.

"Come on, Link," said Zelda while Link did the grunt work plowed the field. "Go faster!"

"This is not as easy as it looks, Zelda," said Link, frustrated with her.

Pokémon Trainer & Lucario became guilty of theft by stealing two bicycles to get to the bus station…

"H-Hey wait! Those aren't yours!" cried Tracey.

"We'll give them back someday!" cried P.T. as he and Lucario peddled away.

while Ness & Lucas were falsely accused of theft when they were arrested by Officer Jenny.

"You two are not permitted to be carrying any Pokémon in your possession!" said Officer Jenny. "I am placing the both of you under arrest!"

"I'm too young to go to jail," cried Lucas.

While waiting for the gym to open, the girls had a ball at the mall while shopping for new clothes…

"Wow, I've never looked so good," said Peach, admiring the outfit she was wearing while looking in the dressing room mirror.

"Well Krystal," said Daisy, showing herself off in a different outfit, "how do I look?"

At the Roadblock, however, no one was having fun at all.

"Vulpix is unable to battle," said the gym referee, "Geodude wins!"

"Aw man," said P.T. "How could I have lost."

"Dang it!" said Bowser after losing his first battle.

"I can't believe I lost," said Peach after losing her first battle.

Pokémon Trainer & Lucario were the first team to arrive at the mat, but due to Pokémon Trainer breaking a few race rules, along with taking the Short Cut, they were given a two-hour penalty…

"If you can wait out the next two hours before all the other teams arrive, you'll still be in the race," said Toad.

"I knew this was going to happen," said Lucario, upset at P.T. for being foolish.

and in the end, they were the ones that took the fall.

"Ness & Lucas," said Toad, "you will both be checked in at 7th place, and Pokémon Trainer & Lucario… you both have been eliminated from the race."

"Wow," said P.T., letting the feeling sink in, "just like that, huh?"

Now, seven teams remain. Who will be eliminated next?

The camera panned over several rocky landscapes before showing a sprawling City.

"This is Pewter City," said Toad, walking along the rocky outskirts of the city. "Nestled between Viridian Forest and Mount Moon, it is the place where trainers travel from all over to challenge the Rock-Type Gym. This major city also served as the fifth pit-stop in a race around the universe."

The teams were shown eating breakfast together. They were all looking pretty tired.

TOAD'S NARRATION:

"During the pit-stop, teams were given the opportunity to eat, sleep, and mingle with the other teams," said Toad. "During the twelve-hour break period, Bowser & Bowser Jr. deliberately caused a stir late into the night."

END:

THE PREVIOUS EVENING:

Bowser & Bowser Jr. were shown getting all hopped up on soda pop and candy while cranking up the volume listening to heavy metal on the radio. The noise was so loud, the other teams got angry at them. They were shown outside their hotel room knocking on the door wanting to confront them.

"What in Hylia's name are they doing?" said Zelda in her nightgown, angry for getting woken up.

"Hey!" yelled Peach while angrily banging on the door, "Quiet down in there already! We're trying to sleep!"

"Screw you!" Bowser yelled back through the door. "We're going to party all night!"

"Bwa, ha, ha, ha!" Bowser Jr. laughed like a maniac while cranking up the music even louder.

CONFESSIONAL:

BOWSER & BOWSER JR.: Father – Son

"Our strategy was to keep most of the teams up and make them tired the next morning so they would be easier to beat in the next leg," said Bowser.

"Yeah," said Bowser Junior, "so we decided to have a party and make everyone miserable. Ha, ha, ha!"

END:

Fox & Krystal were shown in their hotel room lying in bed completely irked by all the loud noise.

"What the heck is wrong with them?!" said Krystal, covering her ears with her pillow, trying to block out the noise.

"That's it!" Fox furiously got out of bed, still in his underwear. "I'm going to give those scumbags a piece of my mind!"

CONFESSIONAL:

MARIO & LUIGI: Brothers/Plumbers

"I get-a grouchy when I don't get my sleep," said Mario. "We're only given twelve hours of break time in between legs, and I need at least-a eight of those hours to recharge my batteries."

FOX & KRYSTAL: Dating

"I was ticked off," said Fox, upset. "It was completely unnecessary of Bowser & Bowser Jr. to make all that racket late into the night."

BOWSER & BOWSER JR.: Father-Son

"Of course, it got to the point where the hotel manager came into our room and threatened to kick us out," said Bowser while still feeling proud of himself, "but still, I think we got them pretty good. Heh, heh."

END:

The next morning, Ness & Lucas were shown talking with Kirby & Jigglypuff while eating breakfast.

"You really think there's an alliance going on between some of the other teams?" said Kirby, while eating his waffles.

"Without a doubt," said Ness. "Fox & Krystal were buying plane tickets for Mario & Luigi in the last leg."

"I think they're also helping Link & Zelda," Lucas added, remembering they were hanging around the two vulpine at the time.

"Sounds pretty scandalous if you ask me," said Jigglypuff.

TOAD'S NARRATION:

"In the previous leg, Ness & Lucas arrived at the mat in 7th place with a thirty-minute penalty under their belt for taking the Short Cut at the Roadblock," said Toad. "Now, they have to wait out their penalty before they can depart for the upcoming leg. Will Ness & Lucas be able to overcome this obstacle while recovering from getting arrested in the previous leg? Also, can Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi figure out a way to leap ahead or will they fall into last place for an entire leg once again? Peach & Daisy and Fox & Krystal, who were the first and second teams to check in at 8:26 pm will depart first at 8:26 am."

END:

The two leading teams were now shown outside the Pewter Museum of Science while standing on the mat. Once it was time to depart, they then ripped open their clues to read them.

PEACH & DAISY and FOX & KRYSTAL: 1st and 2nd teams to depart, 8:26 am

Peach ripped open her clue for her team before Krystal ripped open hers.

"Make your way to the airport and fly to Corneria City on Planet Corneria," Peach read.

"Yes!" cried Fox ecstatically. "Corneria is my home planet. This leg is totally ours!"

"Yay!" Krystal responded jubilantly.

"Oh, wow," said Daisy. "Looks like you guys are the next team to have the homeland advantage."

TOAD'S NARRATION:

"Teams must fly to Corneria City on Planet Corneria: the fourth planet of the Lylat System," said Toad. "Once there, teams must travel by taxi and find the Cornerian Air & Space Museum. When they arrive, team members will each have to ride in an automatic arwing where they will experience a thrilling flight around the entire city at speeds of up to 100 miles per hour to get their next clue."

END:

"Hurry, hurry, seats are first come first served," Krystal read.

"Let's hope the museum is open by the time we get there," said Peach, leaving the mat. The vulpine followed them.

The princesses were once again shown wearing their newer and more practical racing wardrobe. For the rest of the race, their dresses were no more.

CONFESSIONAL:

PEACH & DAISY: Princesses/Best Friends

"I am extremely happy that we won the previous leg," said Daisy. "We were persistent, resourceful, and we stayed focus the whole time. If we can just continue doing that, we just might have a chance at winning this game."

"Yeah," said Peach, "and I'm glad we went and bought our new clothes at the Viridian City Mall yesterday. I even decided to empty out my bag and get rid of the things I didn't need so that I could carry less. Yesterday's Detour was a huge wake-up call to me about bringing inconvenient articles of clothing because we unfortunately ended up going bike riding in our underwear…" This made the two girls laugh again. "…but you know what? At the end of the day, it was worth it, because that's what helped us win."

END:

Peach & Daisy and Fox & Krystal went straight to the Pewter City Pokémon Center to enter the Kanto Intraregional Subway station underground. After buying their tickets, both teams got onboard the Subway before the doors closed. They were now on their way to the airport.

"We found out by looking at the Map of the subway system that it also connects to the Kanto airport," said Fox to the camera as the train moved through the tunnels. "This means we don't have to take a taxi and spend so much money."

CONFESSIONAL:

FOX & KRYSTAL: Dating

"Fox and I are getting along really well with the other teams," said Krystal. "Nobody is out to get us yet. If we can continue helping people from time to time, we can make it to the end without getting Yielded."

"We also have our Final Three Alliance taken care of," said Fox. "As long as we can maintain that until the final three, we can win this race."

END:

KIRBY & JIGGLYPUFF and BOWSER & BOWSER JR.: 3rd and 4th teams to depart, 8:51 am

Kirby ripped open his clue for his team before Bowser ripped open his.

"Once you get to Corneria City, you must take a taxi and find the Cornerian Air & Space Museum," read Kirby.

"There, you must ride in an automatic arwing and fly around Corneria City at speeds of 100 miles per hour," Bowser read.

"Oki-doki," said Jigglypuff, strapping her backpack on before leaving the mat.

"Let's get out of here," said Bowser Jr. Both teams were going to take the subway as well.

CONFESSIONAL:

KIRBY & JIGGLYPUFF: Long Distance Dating

"The last leg was tough," said Jigglypuff. "During yesterday's Roadblock, I ended up having to perform a Pokémon battle all by myself. That was extremely difficult. I seriously need to start reading the clues more carefully."

"But don't forgot, you finished in first place," Kirby reminded her. "I was proud of Jigglypuff. Because of her, we were able to finish in the front of the pack, and now I finally feel comfortable about our position in this game."

BOWSER & BOWSER JR.: Father-Son

"Yesterday's leg was bogus," said Bowser Jr. "We were supposed to beat Kirby & Jigglypuff in a footrace and win our second leg. Unfortunately, other teams took faster modes of transportation and got there first. Even worse, those pink twerps got to the mat before us! How embarrassing."

"Starting the sixth leg in fourth place is not good enough for me," said Bowser. "If we want to be frontrunners, we need to be more aggressive. In fact, if I have to get physical to get what I want, I will."

END:

"Dad, hurry up!" said Bowser Jr. as the puffballs were walking further ahead of them.

"Can it, son! I'm tired," said Bowser, walking slowly.

"Partying all night wasn't my idea, you know."

"Oh, shut it!"

"YOU shut it, you old geyser!"

The puffballs heard the two Koopas behind them start going at it with each other again.

Jigglypuff sighed while shaking her head. "I'm getting so sick of Bowser & Bowser Jr.'s childish bickering."

"Yeah, me too," Kirby agreed.

The two leading teams, meanwhile, were halfway in between Viridian City and Pallet Town in the subway train by then. Krystal was shown yawning while struggling to stay awake.

"I sure hope they have coffee at the airport," said Krystal, hanging onto a metal pole.

"Same here," said Fox, hanging onto a subway handle. "We'd have slept better if that scumbag Bowser and his bratty little son didn't make all that noise last night."

"Definitely," Peach agreed. "Those guys are such pigs."

CONFESSIONAL:

PEACH & DAISY: Princesses/Best Friends

"Since day one, Bowser & Bowser Jr. have been nothing but mean, rude, and disrespectful," said Peach, "and that's putting it lightly."

"I dislike them immensely, almost to the point of hatred," said Daisy. "Those two never play nice and I cannot wait for karma to bite them in their tails."

END:

"Let's hope this leg will be THE leg where those evil mutant turtles meet their demise," said Daisy, making the others laugh.

TOAD'S NARRATION:

"in the previous leg, Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi were still waiting out their thirty-minute penalty for taking the short-cut," said Toad. "However, since Ness & Lucas arrived at the mat in seventh place before their penalty times were finished, Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi will have to wait out the rest of their penalties at the mat before they can depart."

END:

All three teams were shown sitting at the mat waiting out their penalties.

"Looks like we're going to be the last place team for once," said Lucas.

"Welcome to our world," Link joked.

"I just hope we can still keep up with the teams ahead of us this-a time around," said Mario.

-LINK & ZELDA: 24 minutes and 32 seconds left

-MARIO & LUIGI: 24 minutes left and 38 seconds left

-NESS & LUCAS: 29 minutes and 50 seconds left

At that point, the vulpine and the princesses had gotten off the subway after reaching their destination. They quickly went up the escalator and had arrived at the Kanto Airport. Upon arrival, a security guard hired by production came up to them and instructed both teams to follow him. He took them through a secret portal, leading them to a secret area in the airport that provided space travel for visitors all over the universe.

"Thank you very much, sir," said Fox to the security guard.

"Let's see if we can find a good flight," said Daisy before both teams started searching.

Not long after, the puffballs and the koopas were the next two teams to get off the subway. After arriving at the secret area of the airport, they too started searching.

"We better split up if we want to find the quickest flight in the quickest way possible," said Bowser.

"Can't argue with that," said Bowser Jr.

"Come on Jigglypuff, let's see if we can find a good flight," said Kirby.

"I'm on it," she said.

Later, Link & Zelda's and Mario & Luigi's penalties had elapsed. It was now time to disembark.

LINK & ZELDA and MARIO & LUIGI: 5th and 6th teams to depart, 9:23 am

Zelda ripped open her clue for her team while Luigi ripped open his.

"You have 105 dollars and seven cents for this leg of the race," Zelda read.

"Hurry, hurry, seats are first come first served," Luigi read.

"Alright, let's go," said Link, departing the mat.

"Corneria, here-a we come," said Mario.

"Good luck guys," said Lucas, waving them goodbye.

NESS & LUCAS: 8 minutes left to go

CONFESSIONAL:

LINK & ZELDA: Newly Dating

"I'm not exactly sure why Fox & Krystal wanted us to be in an alliance with them," said Zelda, "but hey, as long as they're willing to help us, I don't really care. Plus, since we have zero experience with chartering flights, it's going to be extremely convenient to have Fox & Krystal taking care of that for us, so that makes me happy."

"I was very happy when Zelda volunteered to do her first Roadblock yesterday, and she did really well," said Link. "However, I still feel as though Zelda needs to start pulling her weight more while running this game. I don't see how us depending on Fox & Krystal a lot of the time is going to make her a better teammate, but I'll give it time and see what happens.

END:

Mario & Luigi followed Link & Zelda to the Pewter City subway station. After obtaining their tickets and getting onboard, they were now on their way to the airport.

"Now we just have to hope that Fox & Krystal will be able to find a good flight for all of us," said Zelda, while sitting on one of the subway's seats.

"Knowing them, they-a probably will," said Luigi, who was confident that they would.

CONFESSIONAL:

MARIO & LUIGI: Brothers/Plumbers

"Luigi and I got-a lucky once again in the previous leg," said Mario. "We had a chance to get ahead at yesterday's Roadblock, but I screwed that up for us because I took-a too long to complete the Roadblock. I need to do better while performing tasks. We can't-a just rely on other teams making mistakes."

"I don't-a think we're getting any better at this game," said Luigi. "I'm also not-a sure if us being in an alliance is really all that much of an advantage, especially since Link & Zelda tend to slow us down a lot. Still, Fox & Krystal on the other hand have been a big help-a lately, so we'll stay aligned with them to see what more they can do for us."

END:

Meanwhile, Ness & Lucas finished up waiting out their thirty-minute penalty.

NESS & LUCAS: Last team to depart, 9:28 am

"Alright, now we can finally begin," said Ness, ripping open their clue. "To fly to Corneria, you must charter a flight in the secret area of the Kanto Airport. Once you get to the airport, a security guard will help escort you."

"Alright good," said Lucas, putting on his backpack. "Let's get going."

CONFESSIONAL:

NESS & LUCAS: Best Friends

"Now that we're leaving in last place, we have to work extra hard if we want to get back in the lead," said Ness. "Getting arrested yesterday, as well as getting betrayed by another team, really threw us off our game. Now I'm very upset."

"Getting thrown in jail was very rough," said Lucas. "It's what nearly got us eliminated and I don't know how we're ever going to recover from it."

END:

After leaving the mat, Ness & Lucas immediately went to the Pewter City subway station like everyone else. Once they were onboard, they were now on their way to the airport.

"If anyone should be arrested, it should be Bowser & Bowser Jr.," said Lucas.

"Now there's an idea," Ness smirked.

Back at the airport, teams couldn't find any airlines that contained a direct flight to Corneria.

"Excuse me misses," said Peach to a woman behind the counter for Power Star Airlines. "Do y'all have any direct flights that go from here all the way to Planet Corneria?"

The lady shook her head. "Sorry, I'm afraid we don't. The Lylat System is very far from here, but y'all can still get there by taking connections though."

Peach sighed. "Yeah, but I want a direct flight."

"Hey ma'am," said Daisy, who was at the counter for S.E.A.S. "Do y'all have any direct flights to Planet Corneria in the Lylat System today?"

"No, sorry," said the lady behind the counter, "Lylat is too far from here to have any direct flights."

"Seriously?" said Daisy.

Krystal met back up with Fox after about half an hour of searching.

"Any luck?" Krystal asked Fox.

Fox shook his head. "No, none of the airlines I've searched have a direct flight at all. Yourself?"

"No. None."

CONFESSIONAL:

FOX & KRYSTAL: Dating

"Finally, we just decided that were going to try to get there through connections, and with the quickest and earliest times possible," said Krystal.

END:

Bowser & Bowser Junior weren't having any luck either.

"Found anything yet, Dad?" asked Bowser Junior.

"Not a thing," said Bowser, getting easily frustrated again. Suddenly, he saw Fox & Krystal walking to another counter.

"Come on son, we're following them," said Bowser, forcefully pulling his son by the arm once again.

"Ow!" cried Bowser Jr, but Bowser ignored him.

As for Kirby & Jigglypuff, they decided it was better to just take connections.

"Let's just take connections, Jigglypuff," said Kirby, "we're just wasting our time."

"Yeah, I agree," said Jigglypuff, but then suddenly out of nowhere…

"OUT OF MY WAY!" yelled Bowser, shoving Jigglypuff once again.

"Hey!" cried Jigglypuff, nearly losing her balance.

"Dude, what is your problem?!" said Kirby. "That is the third time you've shoved her!"

Bowser Junior threw them a raspberry in response before laughing at them as they walked off in a hurry. Angered, Kirby tried to chase after them to give them a piece of his mind, but Jigglypuff held him back to keep him out of trouble.

"Kirby don't!" cried Jigglypuff. "They're not worth it."

CONFESSIONAL:

KIRBY & JIGGLYPUFF: Long Distance Dating

"How dare they!" said Kirby, fuming. "What makes them think they can just treat my Jigglypuff like that? You can't just push and shove a girl just to get by. That is just vile!"

"Yeah," Jigglypuff agreed. "They're playing way too rough."

END:

As for Fox & Krystal, they were back at the counter for Air Corneria.

"Do y'all have the fastest connections to Corneria City?" Fox asked the man behind the counter.

The man typed into his computer to see what they had available. "Alright, here's what we've got. The fastest way to Corneria right now is via the Lylat Space Colony. We have a flight that arrives there at 9:50 am tomorrow. They'll have connections to Corneria City for you guys."

"Do y'all know what time those connections get there?" Fox asked.

"I'm sorry, it doesn't show that on our computer," the man said, "but there is a flight agency in this airport, and you can ask them from there. They'll be happy to help you."

"Alright, we'll try that," said Krystal.

"Sure, but let's go ahead and book this flight, just in case," said Fox.

While the man was typing their names into the system, Bowser & Bowser Jr. walked up behind them in line.

"Are you sure they've found the fastest flight?" Bowser Jr. asked his dad.

"Be quiet, you moron!" Bowser hissed. The two vulpine heard them.

"Oh great, not them again," said Krystal, who didn't approve of Bowser & Bowser Jr. trying to eavesdrop on them.

"Let's not worry about them yet," said Fox.

Meanwhile, the man was done booking their flight. "Alright, we got your names into the system."

"Can you book our names too?" Bowser asked the man, "We'll have what they're having."

This annoyed Fox. "Why can't you two fools book your own flights? There's plenty of other airlines to choose from you know."

"You're not the boss of us," said Bowser. "Anything you're doing we're doing too, because we can."

"Forget them," said Krystal, "let's just go," and so they just walked away.

After Bowser & Bowser Jr. had their names put into the system, they quickly went and caught back up with the two vulpine to see what they were up to next. This annoyed Fox even further.

"Would you two knock it off!?" said Fox. "Do your own work and quit leaching off of other people!"

"And quit following us!" Krystal added.

"No," said Bowser. "You two are clearly the airport experts, so we're going to leach off of you whenever we want to."

"No, you're not!" said Krystal. "Go away!"

"No!" said Bowser Junior. "We can do whatever we want whenever we want to!"

Fox finally had enough. Since the two koopas wouldn't leave them alone, the two vulpine decided to just high tail it out of there quickly. Bowser & Bowser Jr. attempted to run after them, but the two foxes were too fast for them.

"Great!" said Bowser. "We lost them!"

Meanwhile, the next subway train had arrived at the airport station, and Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi got off the subway.

"Come on!" cried Link to Zelda as he ran up the escalator.

"Let's-a go!" cried Mario to Luigi.

The two teams were then escorted by the same security guard who helped the other teams before them. Once they went through the portal, they immediately started searching for a good flight. They soon came across Kirby & Jigglypuff.

"Hey, Kirby, have y'all seen Fox & Krystal anywhere?" asked Link.

"I think they were at the counter for Air Corneria," said Kirby.

"Let's get our tickets over there then," said Zelda. "If anyone knows the best flights to pick from, Fox & Krystal do."

"Then we're-a going there too," said Luigi.

At the travel agency, Krystal was talking with a woman behind the counter asking her about the connection times at the Lylat Space Colony. Miraculously, Peach & Daisy were in there too.

"Okay, there are three connections via Lylat Air Service that you can take," said the woman behind the counter. "The first one arrives in Corneria City at 8:55 pm."

"What about the others?" asked Krystal, writing everything down.

"The second one arrives at 9:15 and the third one arrives at 9:30."

"Can we book those connections from here?" Peach asked her.

"I'm afraid not. My computer says you have to book them once you arrive at the Space Colony."

"Again?" said Daisy, wondering why the rules weren't the same at every airport and space colony alike.

"I'm sorry, but it's for safety reasons over there."

"That's fine," said Fox, "but what about our booked flight from Air Corneria? Does it get there first?"

The woman typed into the airport's database that cross referenced all flights leaving from there to the Lylat Space Colony on her computer.

"Actually no, there's a quicker flight from Lylat Airways. It leaves in an hour and arrives at 9:30 am tomorrow morning."

"Alright, good," said Fox. "Can you see if there are any seats left on that flight please?"

'Sure." The woman clicked on Lylat Airways and got it shown on her computer screen. "Alright, there's still plenty of seats available right now. You can also book it from here so you can save time."

"Perfect. We'll take two," said Fox, who found this very helpful.

"We'd like two seats on that flight as well, please," said Peach.

"Sure thing," the woman proceeded to book all four of their names onto the flight.

Meanwhile, Kirby & Jigglypuff were at the counter for Air Corneria while Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi were waiting behind them.

"I need to get to Corneria City," Kirby asked the man behind the counter. "Do you have a flight that helps us get there?"

"None of our flights get there directly. However, if you take a flight that gets to the Lylat Space Colony at 9:50 am tomorrow morning, they'll have connections that'll take you to Corneria City directly."

"Does this flight get there first?" asked Jigglypuff.

The man looked at his computer. "…no, the earliest flight is Lylat Airways. That arrives at 9:30 am tomorrow and it has the same connections."

"Let's go there then," Mario suggested. Everyone agreed.

Meanwhile, while searching for Fox & Krystal, Bowser & Bowser Jr. saw them and the princesses walking out of the flight agency office, so they decided to go inside there themselves and ask the woman behind the counter what she told those two teams.

"The earliest flight to the Lylat Space colony is Lylat Airways, which arrives at 9:30 am tomorrow," she told them.

"Perfect, we'll book it," said Bowser. Once their names were booked, they left the office to look for the Lylat Airways counter so they could get their tickets.

At that moment, Ness & Lucas were the last team to get off the subway. Once they had arrived at the airport, they spotted Fox & Krystal and Peach & Daisy.

CONFESSIONAL:

NESS & LUCAS: Best Friends

"Once we got to the airport, we didn't know where to go, so we just decided to follow Fox & Krystal and the princesses," said Lucas.

END:

"I say we should follow them," said Lucas. Ness agreed.

Pretty soon, all seven teams were shown waiting in line behind each other at the counter for Lylat Airways. Kirby & Jigglypuff, Link & Zelda, Mario & Luigi, and Ness & Lucas were the only teams that hadn't booked it yet. Once Fox got up to the counter first, he had the lady print their tickets for them. While doing so, Fox asked her a question.

"Do y'all have any seats left available for anyone who hasn't booked this flight yet?" he asked her.

The women typed into her computer. "Yes, we have approximately eleven seats left."

Fox turned towards Krystal. "I think there's a chance everyone might get on this flight together, Krystal."

"I sure hope not."

Unfortunately, Fox's assumption was correct. Once Fox & Krystal, Bowser & Bowser Jr., and Peach & Daisy got the tickets they booked, the other four teams were able to get tickets onto the flight as well.

"Boy, we sure got lucky," said Lucas, carrying his ticket.

"Yeah, it's good to know we're caught up to everyone now," said Ness.

Later, teams were shown waiting in line at security.

"Alright Link, I just talked with Krystal," said Zelda. "She said there are going to be three connecting flights via Lylat Air Service over at the Lylat Space Colony, and that the quickest one arrives in Corneria city at 8:55 pm."

"Alright then," said Link.

Once everything was said and done, all seven teams got through security, and quickly got onboard the flight at Lylat Airways. Once the plane took off, it transformed into a spaceship and went into outer space. All seven teams had officially left the Pokémon world.

The next day, after millions of miles of space travel, the spaceship had arrived at the Lylat Space Colony. Once the ship had landed in the docking bay, all seven teams piled out and raced against each other to the counter at Lylat Air Service for the quickest connecting flight.

"Come on Zelda, hurry up!" cried Link while running quickly.

"I'm trying," said Zelda, trying to keep up.

Pretty soon, all seven teams had arrived at the counter at Lylat Air Service. Fox & Krystal got there first since they were the fastest, of course. Waiting behind them in order were Kirby & Jigglypuff, Ness & Lucas, Bowser & Bowser Jr., Mario & Luigi, Peach & Daisy, and Link & Zelda.

"Grr, not again!" said Bowser, frustrated that they were not as fast as some of the other teams.

"Hi there," said Fox. "I need two tickets for the flight that arrives in Corneria City at 8:55 pm."

"I'm sorry sir, but the flight is full. There is, however, still room on the flight that arrives at 9:15."

Fox sighed. "Alright, fine. We'll take that instead."

FOX & KRYSTAL: 1st team on the 1st connecting flight, arriving at 9:15 pm

While the man had their tickets processed, Fox hadn't forgotten their alliance with Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi, so he had the man install tickets for them as well.

CONFESSIONAL:

"Krystal and I are members of the Star Fox Team, which is an elite piloting unite for the Cornerian Army," said Fox. "We know everything there is to know about flying. Because of that, we know how to buy tickets for other people. This is how we're able to help out our alliance without them having to use their passports, so that definitely gives us an advantage."

END:

Finally, the tickets were processed and printed out of the machine.

LINK & ZELDA and MARIO & LUIGI: 2nd and 3rd teams on the 1st connecting flight, arriving at 9:15 pm

"Alright, I have tickets for Fox, Krystal, Mario, Luigi, Link, and Zelda," said the man behind the counter. This caused a stir.

"Say what?" said Bowser, who couldn't believe his ears.

"You're joking, right?" said Ness, baffled.

"But Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi were behind us," Kirby added, especially since he and Jigglypuff were supposed to be next in line.

"That's not fair!" said Peach, upset by this.

Ignoring them, all three teams got their tickets and left. After that, Kirby went up to the man asking for two seats on the same flight. The man agreed and had their tickets processed.

KIRBY & JIGGLYPUFF: 4th team on the 1st connecting flight, arriving at 9:15 pm

When it was Ness's turn however…

"I'm sorry, but I'm afraid the flight is now full," said the man behind the counter.

Ness & Lucas's mouths dropped.

"…Seriously?" said Lucas. He was feeling really upset now.

Ness sighed. "We'll have to take the next connecting flight then."

With that being said, the man processed their tickets.

NESS & LUCAS: 1st team on the 2nd connecting flight, arriving at 9:30 pm

After that, the koopas and the princesses had their tickets processed as well.

BOWSER & BOWSER JR. and PEACH & DAISY: 2nd and 3rd teams on the 2nd connecting flight, arriving at 9:30 pm

After getting their tickets, Ness grew more suspicious of Fox & Krystal and their true motives with the ticket situation.

CONFESSIONAL:

"I didn't like how Fox & Krystal were buying tickets for other people," said Ness. "After we left the counter, we went over to them so they could explain themselves. I just don't appreciate getting screwed over like that… again."

END:

"Fox, can I ask you something?" asked Ness.

"Sure."

"Are you and Krystal in some sort of an alliance with Mario & Luigi?" said Ness, asking straight up.

"And Link & Zelda?" Lucas added.

Surprised, Fox paused for a second. "…No, we're not in any alliances with anyone," said Fox. "Why do you ask?"

"You know why," said Lucas, crossing his arms.

"Yeah, why did you buy plane tickets for them?" said Ness, wanting an explanation. "They were behind us while we were waiting in line."

"Well, that's just the thing," said Fox, trying his best to hide his alliance, "They were in the back of the line, and we were worried they'd run out of seats for them."

"But they were waiting behind us," Ness said once again. "I mean, if you were going to do that, why not just buy tickets for people that arrived in the original order they came in."

"What do you mean?" said Krystal. "We can't just buy tickets for everybody. That would max out our credit card too quickly."

Ness shook his head. "That's not the point. I just want to know why you keep buying tickets for Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi. They could've just bought their own tickets."

"Look, we're just trying to be helpful to other people," said Fox, trying to avoid revealing anything about their alliance. "What's so wrong about that?"

"No… It's not…" Ness was now getting frustrated. "Look, we just don't appreciate being put on a later flight when we were ahead of the people that you bought tickets for. Can't you see it's not fair?"

"Boys, I apologize if you're feeling duped right now," said Krystal. "We're doing our to help everyone in different ways throughout this race."

"But why not help us for a change?!" said Lucas. "Yawl have never helped us…"

"Lucas, just forget about it!" Ness pulled Lucas aside, having given up on the conversation. "They won't tell us the truth, so there's no point."

Link & Zelda, who had witnessed the whole awkward exchange, watched Ness & Lucas walk away.

"Oh boy," said Link. "This game is starting to get personal."

CONFESSIONAL:

NESS & LUCAS: Best Friends

"We weren't trying to accuse Fox & Krystal of sabotage," said Ness. "We just wanted them to be honest with us. If they do have an alliance, that's fine, but if so, it's not necessary for them to lie about it."

"I could tell they weren't telling the truth," said Lucas. "I mean… they could be in an alliance with other teams or maybe they're not. Either way, I think I kind of lost a lot of respect for them after that."

END:

"Don't feel bad, Fox," said Zelda. "They're just mad because they're in last place now. They need to learn to accept it when things don't go their way."

"Gee, you're one to talk, princess," said Link, mocking her.

"Oh, shut up, Link."

"Oh, shut up, Link," said Link, mimicking her in a high-pitched voice. This earned him a nudge in the arm by her but Link just laughed it off.

While all seven teams were waiting for their flights to open, Ness & Lucas, Peach & Daisy, and Kirby & Jigglypuff were all sitting together talking to each other.

"So, what did Fox & Krystal say?" Daisy asked Ness.

"They wouldn't tell us anything," said Ness, shaking his head. "They kept denying that they had an alliance with anyone. They were just full of baloney."

"Yeah," said Lucas, "they were just making excuses and being all 'Oh, we just want to be helpful to everyone, and make people happy, and everything.' Yeah, right!"

"Wow," said Kirby, who couldn't believe what he was hearing.

"They denied about what they did in the previous leg too," said Ness, "but now, I honestly just don't believe them."

"I think they're lying," said Jigglypuff. "Think about it, they're obviously trying to come off as innocent to cover up the fact that they actually do have an alliance."

"That's what we think too," said Peach. "That's got to be the real reason they bought tickets for Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi."

"Yeah, they're not fooling anybody," said Jigglypuff, "so what are you going to do about it?"

Ness gave it a quick thought. "I say we should try to beat them at their own game," he suggested.

"Yeah!" said Lucas, who liked the idea. "In fact, why don't we form an alliance of our own?"

"Yeah, let's do it!" said Daisy.

"I agree," said Kirby.

"Me too!" said Jigglypuff, feeling ecstatic at the prospect of being in an alliance.

"You can count me in," said Peach.

"Then it's settled," said Ness. The alliance was officially made.

"And I have the perfect name for it," said Peach. "I say we should call ourselves 'the Helping Hand Alliance,' because we'll be helping each other out from now on."

"Sounds good to me," said Kirby, despite how corny the name sounded to him.

With that being said, everyone in the Helping Hand Alliance made a vow that they would all help each other out at every opportunity from here on in, and they all gave each other high fives.

Pretty soon, the doors had opened for the first connecting flight scheduled to arrive at 9:15. The four teams scheduled for it all got onboard. As the flight took off into outer space, Bowser & Bowser Jr. were shown talking trash the other teams.

"Ness & Lucas somehow think that forming an alliance with a bunch of losers is going to help them beat Fox & Krystal's alliance," Bowser Jr. snickered. "That's cute."

"Psh! Please," said Bowser. "They're all a bunch of weak idiots. In fact, we don't even need to form any stupid alliances to go far in this game. We can win this race on our own."

"Yeah, as long as we continue to find loopholes and abuse them, we can destroy these loser teams no problem."

Before long, the ship's doors had opened, so everyone remaining got onboard the flight scheduled to arrive at their next destination at 9:30 pm. Once their flight took off into outer space, they were on their way.

TOAD'S NARRATION:

"All seven teams are now making their way to Corneria City through connections via Lylat Air Services," said Toad. "The first connecting flight scheduled to arrive at 9:15 pm consists of Fox & Krystal, Link & Zelda, Mario & Luigi, and Kirby & Jigglypuff. The second connecting flight, scheduled to arrive at 9:30 pm consists of Ness & Lucas, Bowser & Bowser Jr., and Peach & Daisy. Which team will figure out how to leap ahead, and which team will be eliminated next?"

END:

Hours later, the camera showed the entire landscape of Corneria City on Planet Corneria. It was a futuristic city containing advanced technology such as spaceships coming and going, flying cars, and robots helping people out. A lot of the clothing people wore looked ornate and futuristic. Speaking of which, the people of Corneria consisted of anthropomorphic animals; animals such as dogs, birds, cats, pigs, frogs, foxes, rabbits, bears, etc. They all walked and talked like human beings – they were even the same height as human beings. Corneria City was, without a doubt, a place unlike any other.

At the Corneria City airport, the camera showed the airport monitors displaying the arrival times.

LYLAT AIR SERVICES:

2nd Connecting Flight – Arriving at 9:30 pm

1st Connecting Flight – Arriving at 10:05 pm, DELAYED 50 MINUTES

Apparently, the first connecting flight was suffering from engine failure, so they had they had to make a quick stop on Planet Fichina to get that taken care of. This allowed the three teams on the second connecting flight to get ahead.

2nd Connecting Flight: Arriving at 9:30 pm

It was nighttime by the time the spaceship had landed in the docking bay area of the airport. Once the door to the ship had opened, all three teams piled out quickly and ran as fast as they could through the airport.

"Junior, come on!" yelled Bowser to Bowser Jr.

"We can do this, Daisy!" cried Peach, running past baggage claim.

"Gotta find a taxi," said Ness, running through the exiting doors.

Once outside, the three teams started calling for taxis.

"Taxi!" cried Peach.

"Yo!" cried Bowser Jr. "Over here!"

Lucas, meanwhile, was shown whistling loudly for a taxi to retrieve them first. That seemed to do the trick.

"Excuse me sir," said Ness to the taxi driver, who was an alligator, "we need to get to the Cornerian Air & Space museum. Do you know where that is?"

"Sure, I can take you there."

"Sweet, thank you!"

Once Lucas got their bags in the trunk, he and Ness got in. Once inside, they were cheering loudly.

"Yes, we're the first to leave!" said Lucas.

"It sure feels good, doesn't it?" said Ness.

The koopas watched Ness & Lucas's cab depart from the airport. This annoyed Bowser, who wanted to go first.

"I'm just so sick of this," Bowser complained. "Those two should've just stayed in jail."

Not long after, Peach & Daisy managed to obtain a taxi as well. Daisy went and put their bags in the trunk while Peach asked the alligator taxi driver for directions.

"Hi," said Peach. "Do you know where the Cornerian Air & Space museum is?"

"I'm sorry, I'm afraid I don't," said the taxi driver.

"Okay, don't go yet," Peach then turned to her partner. "Daisy, he said she doesn't know where the museum is!"

"Here, let's go ask him!" she said, pointing towards a security guard, who was canine. "He might know the way!"

"Here, stay here for a sec," Peach told the taxi driver, "we'll be right back."

"Come on, we're taking it," said Bowser. "Their loss is our gain."

CONFESSIONAL:

BOWSER & BOWSER JR.: Father-Son

"We saw the two princesses abandon their taxi, so we wanted to take it for ourselves," said Bowser.

END:

The koopas ran to the "abandoned" taxi while the princesses were asking directions from the canine security guard. Suddenly, Daisy spotted Bower Jr. climb into their taxi.

"We need to take this taxi," Bowser Jr. told the confused taxi driver.

"Hey, just what do you two think you're doing?" said Daisy, who quickly ran back over.

"We're taking this taxi, it's ours now," said Bowser.

"Uh, no you're not. This is our taxi. It's still ours," Daisy insisted.

"Well we beg to differ," said Bowser Jr., who wanted this taxi to be theirs. "If you left this taxi then it's not yours anymore," This led to an argument.

Peach heard the commotion while receiving directions from the security guard. "Excuse me for a second," she said as she had to go back over there.

"You can't take our taxi!" said Daisy. "We were here first!"

"You two left this taxi, so its finders keepers," said Bowser Jr.

"No, it's not!" said Daisy, getting angry at them. "Our bags are still in the trunk, so it's still ours!"

"Sir, please, they really were here first," said the taxi driver, telling them once again that their bags were in the trunk.

"What do you two think you're doing?" said Peach, coming over to help. "This is our taxi. You need to get out."

"Yeah, well, it's ours now!" said Bowser Jr., stubbornly. "You left it, so we're taking it."

"Please, just get out. Now."

"No," Bowser continued. "We're keeping this taxi, so screw off!"

"Get out!" Daisy angrily demanded. "That is just rude! Get out now!"

"No!"

"Get. Out. NOW!"

"Oh yeah?! What are you going to do about it, princess?!" Bowser retorted.

It eventually got to the point where the security guard told the two koopas to get out or else. That did it for them.

"Fine!" said Bowser. They were now getting out.

CONFESSIONAL:

BOWSER & BOWSER JR.: Father-Son

"Peach & Daisy are such whiny little babies," said Bowser. "Did you hear them? 'Get out of our taxi, you meanies!' They were yelling and screaming at us like maniacs. I wanted to spit in their stupid faces!"

"Those two are pathetic," said Bowser Jr. "They took our taxi, which we rightfully claimed."

PEACH & DAISY: Princesses/Best Friends

"Our bags were already in the trunk," said Daisy, "so those two fools weren't getting away with our taxi anyways."

END:

Once they were back out, Bowser & Bowser Jr. went to search for another taxi.

"Well, it was worth a try," said Bowser Jr., disappointed.

Peach & Daisy, however, still couldn't get over what just happened.

"Oh my gosh," said Peach, exasperated. "That was just… audacious. They are so rude!"

"What, they think they can just take other people's taxis whenever they want to? Seriously?" said Daisy while the security guard started giving Peach directions again.

Meanwhile, Ness & Lucas were admiring the scope of the city as they rode in their taxi.

"Wow look at that," said Ness, pointing at the futuristic buildings.

"This looks like one of those places you see in a sci-fi movie," said Lucas.

The traffic, however, was starting to go slower. It was enough for their taxi to come to a complete stop behind other cars.

"Uh oh," said Ness. "How long is this traffic going to let up?"

"It occasionally takes quite a while, I'm afraid," said the taxi driver.

"Ugh!" said Lucas. "This sucks."

Peach & Daisy, meanwhile, got into their taxi after receiving directions.

"Thank you, you were a big help to us," said Daisy to the security guard that helped them.

"Alright, here are the directions, sir," said Peach to the taxi driver as she handed them to him on paper. After that, their taxi drove away.

"I hope the museum is still open by the time we get there," said Peach.

Bowser & Bowser Jr., however, were still having no luck getting a taxi.

"Come on already!" said Bowser, frustrated.

1st Connecting Flight: Arriving at 10:05 pm (50 minutes late)

The spaceship had landed at the docking bay. Once the door was opened, all four teams frantically piled out and ran quickly through the airport.

"Lets-a go!" said Mario, running out of the gate.

"Come on, Krystal!" said Fox as they were running towards baggage claim.

"Jigglypuff, come on. Hurry up!" said Kirby, following the vulpine.

"I can't believe our flight got delayed!" said Zelda, trying to keep up with everyone again.

"There's no need to complain about that now!" said Link, running alongside her.

Once all four teams got to the taxi freeway, they saw Bowser & Bowser Jr., who were just standing around like lost dogs.

"Well, well, well," said Luigi. "What do we have here-a?"

"Great!" said Bowser, annoyed. "All the other teams have caught up to us."

Seeing as how Bowser & Bowser Jr. were still hanging around at the airport, Fox had gotten an idea.

CONFESSIONAL:

FOX & KRYSTAL: Dating

"Anytime Bowser & Bowser Jr. see us, they attempt to follow us wherever we go," said Krystal.

"I know from past legs that Bowser & Bowser Jr. are willing to do anything to get ahead," said Fox, "and so, I thought that it would be funny to play a little joke on them."

END:

Letting everyone else in on the joke, Fox and Krystal whispered to the other teams what they were planning. Once everyone understood, the vulpine were now ready to pull off their prank.

"Alright, come on Krystal!" Fox yelled out loudly. "I know the fastest way to the museum!"

"Yay! Let's go!" said Krystal loudly, pretending to act excited.

"Come on, son, we're following them," said Bowser, who started running after them.

"We better not lose them," said Bowser Jr. as they ran after the two vulpine.

Everyone watching this was shown giggling while watching the two koopas leave.

"Wow," said Mario, amused. "Are they-a really that desperate?"

"They're so dumb," Zelda bemused.

As the koopas were in pursuit of the vulpine, Fox & Krystal quickly went up a ramp leading to the monorail system that went around the whole entire city. Once they got up there, they went into a monorail car that had just recently arrived. Bowser & Bowser Jr. quickly got onboard before the doors closed. The monorail began moving and heading to an unknown location.

"Alright, where did those furballs go?" said Bowser, looking around the inside of the monorail car, not noticing that Fox & Krystal had already gotten back off.

"I think I saw them go down this way," said Bowser Jr. walking down the aisle as the monorail car moved along.

While watching the monorail move further and further away, Fox & Krystal were laughing their heads off.

"Ha, ha, ha!" Krystal laughed. "Oh. My. Gosh!"

"I can't believe they fell for that! Ha, ha, ha!" said Fox.

"They're such losers!" Krystal bemused.

"Now they'll have no other choice but to backtrack. That is, depending on how long it takes before they find out of course." This made the two vulpine laugh even further before going back down the ramp.

The koopas meanwhile, couldn't find the vulpine anywhere.

"Where the heck did Fox & Krystal go?!" said Bowser.

"What have you gotten us into, Dad?!" said Bowser Jr. as the monorail moved further and further away.

"Where the heck did Fox & Krystal go?" Bowser continued searching the isles of the monorail.

"Dad, this isn't right!" said Bowser Jr. "I don't think we're even supposed to take the monorail."

"Let me look at the clue again," Bowser got their clue out. After reading it, he nearly threw it at the ground in anger. "GRRRRR! Kid, we've been played!"

"What do you mean?"

"The clue says we're only supposed to take a taxi. Fox & Krystal tricked us!"

This caused Bowser Jr. to punch one of the seats in anger. "Dang it! Now we have to backtrack! I hate those stinkin' foxes!"

Meanwhile, Fox & Krystal had made it back to where the other teams were at. They weren't having any luck finding any taxis.

"Hey Krystal, what happened?" said Link.

"We just sent those evil mutant turtles on a wild goose-chase," said Krystal.

"No way!" said Zelda, bemused.

"Yeah, they're like a million yards away from us by now," said Fox, snickering.

"Wow, you two are so sneeeeeakyyyyy," said Jigglypuff, impressed.

Ness & Lucas, meanwhile, were still stuck in traffic.

"Come on, come on," said Ness, growing impatient.

"We're going way too slow," said Lucas.

Peach & Daisy, on the other hand, we're riding around in their taxi quickly.

"Thank goodness we've got an awesome taxi driver helping us," said Peach.

CONFESSIONAL:

PEACH & DAISY: Princesses/Best Friends

"Our taxi driver knew the best roads to take without getting us stuck in traffic," said Daisy.

Peach & Daisy were admiring the city as they continued riding in their taxi.

"Wow, this place is more technical based compared to Hyrule," said Daisy.

"Yeah, look at those robot droid thingies over there," said Peach, in awe of the advanced technology. "Isn't that incredible?"

"I think the people are incredible, look at them all."

The camera once again showed several of the anthropomorphic citizens walking down the streets of Corneria city. They were all wearing clothes, talking on their phones, carrying groceries, and walking on their hind legs no problem. They were just like humans, only they were animals.

"Isn't that just amazing?" said Peach. "They're just like us. It can't get any more fascinating than that."

"You want to know something else that'll fascinate you?" said the taxi driver. "Humans are very rare in Lylat, so we don't see humans like you very often. Almost never."

"Wow," they both said simultaneously.

Pretty soon, their taxi had reached its destination. Once the princesses got their bags out of the trunk, they paid their taxi driver and thanked him. They then went to the entrance of the museum, only to find that the entrance was locked. They went and read the sign on one of the gates.

Cornerian Air & Space Museum: Open every day from 8:00 am – 10:00 pm

The time was now 10:12 pm.

"Shoot!" said Peach. "We just missed it."

"I figured this would happen," said Daisy. "Oh, well."

Peach looked around the area. "That's weird. There's no other team here. I wondered what happened?"

Back at the airport, Fox & Krystal helped the other teams obtain taxis. Mario & Luigi went first, then Kirby & Jigglypuff, and after that, the vulpine decided to share their taxi with Link & Zelda. Everyone was now on their way to the museum… except Bowser & Bowser Jr. of course.

"We're-a doing good now," said Mario while he and Luigi sat in their taxi.

Kirby, however, wasn't doing so good as he and Jigglypuff sat in their taxi.

"Kirby are you alright?" said Jigglypuff. "Feeling carsick?"

"My stomach doesn't feel very good," said Kirby. "I think it was something I ate on that flight."

"I'll bet it was that sandwich I watched you wolf down," said Jigglypuff, getting concerned. "I knew something about it looked off."

"I'm never eating a salami sandwich ever again," said Kirby, rubbing his hurting belly.

As for Link, he wasn't feeling so good either as he sat with Zelda and the vulpine in their taxi.

"Aw man, my stomach hurts," said Link. His stomach was churning in an unhealthy manner.

"Why, how did that happen?" said Zelda.

"I think it's something I ate on that flight. I don't know if it was the sandwich or if it was the cookies."

"It might have been food poisoning," said Fox. "That can happen whenever you order food on a flight sometimes."

"Do you need to use the bathroom, Link?" said Krystal.

"No, I don't think so… at least not now. Ugh!"

"If you're going to throw up, you better do it in a paper bag," said Zelda, handing one to him quickly. Thankfully, Link didn't throw up as they continued riding their taxi through the city.

Later, Ness & Lucas were the second team to arrive at the gate entrance of the museum. They spotted Peach & Daisy pointing their flashlights through the locked gates.

"Looks like the museum is closed," said Lucas, "and it doesn't look like the other teams are around either."

"I wonder how Peach & Daisy got ahead of us?" said Ness.

"Hey girls, do y'all see anything?" asked Lucas.

"Just a bunch of large aircrafts put on display in an outdoor area," said Daisy, shrugging her shoulders.

"Looks like we're going to have to camp out here tonight," said Peach, who was getting her sleeping bag out.

"Great," said Ness, unenthusiastically. He didn't like it that there was going to be another equalizer, which was becoming very common in this game.

Not long after, more teams were arriving. Kirby & Jigglypuff arrived first.

"Hey guys," said Peach. "What happened?"

"Our flight got delayed," said Kirby.

"The museum's closed? Darn," said Jigglypuff, feeling disappointed.

After that, Mario & Luigi had arrived. After noticing the other teams sitting in their sleeping bags on the sidewalk outside the entrance, they decided that they may as well do that too.

"Looks-a like we're all going to be caught up together again," said Luigi, sitting in his sleeping bag. "I wonder why Bowser & Bowser Jr. aren't here yet?"

"Who cares? I hate them," said Ness.

Not long after that, Link & Zelda and Fox & Krystal were the next two teams to arrive at the museum entrance.

"Yeah, I figured this place would be closed around this time," said Fox, looking at the closed gate.

"Wow," said Link, looking around at everyone sitting in their sleeping bags. "Is everyone camping out here tonight?"

Zelda, however, looked repulsed at this as she looked at the dirty state of the sidewalk.

"What do you mean you don't want to camp out?" said Link.

"This sidewalk is disgusting, Link. I want to go to a hotel."

"Come on Zel, if the other girls can handle this, so can you."

"Link, look at that!" she said again, pointing at the ground. "Can you not see all that filth and garbage lying around here? I'm not sleeping here! That's gross!"

"Look, Zelda, I understand how you feel, but I don't want to spend any more money on a hotel room for you."

Zelda then started going into pouting mode. "Link, why do you hate me?"

This surprised Link. "Zelda… I don't hate you, I… rrrggghhh!" Link shook his head in disbelief.

"Hey, Link, if you're sleeping at a hotel, you should go to the Hot Suns Holiday Inn that we passed on our way over here," Fox recommended since it was the closest hotel from here. "It's only a few blocks away, so you can just walk there."

"Yeah, but I don't know if we'll have enough money for a room," said Link.

"You can actually share a room with another team," said Krystal. "That way you can save money."

"Alright then. You want to share a room with us?" Link asked Fox.

Fox shook his head. "Sorry, but we'd rather camp out. That's the only way we can keep tabs on what other teams are planning."

"Here, why don't you ask Mario & Luigi?" Krystal suggested, which Link agreed to.

When Link asked the Mario Bros if they were willing to share a hotel room with them, they graciously accepted.

"Sure, we'd-a be happy to share a room with you guys," said Mario. This relieved Zelda.

Zelda quickly went back over to Fox to get directions to the nearest hotel. Meanwhile, Mario & Luigi were busy rolling their sleeping bags back up so they could go with Link & Zelda. As Ness & Lucas watched them pack, they were feeling nervous.

Ness went to talk with the Mario Bros while they were rolling their sleeping bags up again. "Hey guys, before you go, we need to talk."

Ness told them about the agreement. Mario accepted it, although Luigi was more apprehensive about it.

CONFESSIONAL:

"Ness told us that-a they wanted everyone to leave in the original order that everyone arrived in," said Mario. "He felt-a that Peach & Daisy should go first, then him & Lucas go second, and-a so on and so forth, which I thought was reasonable enough."

"Mario was-a being too nice," said Luigi. "I thought the agreement was-a silly because I wanted us to get in the lead. Still, however, Mario didn't want us to make-a enemies, so I decided to keep quiet, and just go along with it."

END:

After getting the Mario Bros to agree, Mario called Link & Zelda over so they could discuss it with them too.

"We'll be right their Mario," Link said to him. "Zelda, hurry up. Ness & Lucas want to tell us something."

"Not now, Link. I'm busy," said Zelda, who was busy getting directions to the Hot Suns hotel from Fox. "Go talk with them yourself and you can tell me about it later."

Link sighed as he went over to them. Mario & Luigi told them everything Ness & Lucas suggested, and Link agreed to it since it sounded fair to him. After that, he & Zelda and the Mario Bros departed together.

While walking to the hotel, Link told Zelda about the agreement that they made with Ness & Lucas, but Zelda was getting too tired to listen fully.

"So, what do you think, Zel?" said Link. "You okay with it?"

"Whatever, Link. I just want to get to the hotel and go to bed," said Zelda, yawning.

Once the two teams got to the hotel, they checked in for a room at the front desk.

"Alright, here's your key card," said a female parakeet, handing it to Link.

"Thanks." They all then went up the elevator to their room.

Meanwhile, Ness & Lucas and Peach & Daisy went and put all four of their backpacks right next to the gate entrance, telling the teams that they were leaving first the next day and gave their reasons why. Kirby & Jigglypuff didn't seem to mind, but Fox & Krystal were more skeptical.

"Ness & Lucas are too naïve," said Krystal, shaking her head. "They don't even know if this little 'agreement' will help them get ahead."

"They can leave their bags there if they want to," said Fox, "but I don't think that's going to help them leave first tomorrow."

Not long after, Bowser & Bowser Jr. finally managed to arrive at the museum entrance after getting lost thanks to Fox & Krystal, whom they were not happy with right now. They were relieved, however, to find out that the museum hadn't opened yet. They then noticed the four backpacks in front of the gate.

"Don't even think about cutting in front of us, Bowser," said Daisy. "We were the first team to arrive, so when that gate opens, we're going first."

"Like heck we're letting you twerps go first!" said Bowser Jr. "You're not the boss of..."

"Kid, just drop it!" Bowser surprisingly cut him off. "Today has been enough of a frustrating day already. We'll deal with it in the morning."

Although Bowser Jr. wanted to object, he realized his dad had a point since they now had plenty of time to rest. Biting his tongue, he and Bowser went and got out their sleeping bags.

Back at the hotel room, Link was in the bathroom treating his upset stomach on the can while Zelda was lying in one of the queen-sized beds next to the bed that the Mario Bros were sharing. While lying in bed, she was having second thoughts about the agreement the boys made with the Ness & Lucas. She realized if they let other teams go first the next day, that meant they could end up falling behind again. Zelda didn't like that one bit. It sounded stupid to her.

Zelda sat up immediately and began expressing how she felt to the Mario Bros., who were watching TV.

CONFESSIONAL:

MARIO & LUIGI: Brothers/Plumbers

"I agreed with Zelda because I didn't want us to continue leaving last," said Luigi. "I definitely felt as though we were being taken advantage of."

LINK & ZELDA: Newly Dating

"Seriously, who died and put Ness & Lucas in charge of this game?" said Zelda. "I'm not letting a couple of mere children tell me what I can and can't do. I can't believe Link and the Mario Bros were so naive to even fall for their stupid agreement in the first place."

END:

"We can't let them go first tomorrow," Zelda told the Mario Bros. "I did not come all this way only to get screwed over into last place again. Not after all we've been through."

CONFESSIONAL:

MARIO & LUIGI: Brothers/Plumbers

"Zelda was telling us that she wanted us to break the agreement we all made with-a Ness & Lucas," said Mario, who understood how she felt. "I felt uneasy about it though, because I knew that if we went-a back on our word, it was going to get real ugly."

END:

Back at the gate entrance, a canine security guard walked up to the teams sleeping in their sleeping bags and told them that they were going to have to sleep somewhere else.

"Hey guys, I'm sorry, but we can't have you all hanging around here," he said.

CONFESSIONAL:

FOX & KRYSTAL: Dating

"The security guard told us that he had been receiving complaints from people about us loitering outside the museum entrance," said Krystal. "He told us that if we wanted to camp out, we would have to do it under a pavilion at the park across the street."

END:

So that's just what they all did. This, however, meant Ness & Lucas and Peach & Daisy had to bring their backpacks with them since they didn't want them to get stolen, which of course they weren't happy about. All the teams were shown setting their sleeping bags under picnic tables in the park pavilion.

"At least we don't have to worry about getting rained on," said Jigglypuff, even though the weather was fine.

Once all the teams settled in again, everyone got back into their sleeping bags and fell asleep.

The next morning, the sun was shown rising over the futuristic buildings of Corneria City. The teams were shown getting up to start the day. Bowser was building a campfire to make a quick breakfast while everyone else was brushing their teeth. They were tired and moody.

Peach stretched and yawned while her hair was a complete mess. "Man… that was rough."

"I wish we could've slept in the grass," Bowser Jr. complained.

"I didn't get an ounce of sleep last night," said Ness, looking at Bowser with a scowl.

CONFESSIONAL:

NESS & LUCAS: Best Friends

"Bowser snores REALLY loud at nighttime," said Ness, annoyed. "It's obnoxious."

END:

Kirby was looking less pink than usual as his stomach was feeling much worse than it was yesterday. "Aw man… I wish I could've taken some medicine last night to ease my stomach."

Krystal yawned while watching Fox pack. "This should be a fun day."

Link & Zelda and Mario & Luigi, meanwhile, had checked out of the hotel early. They were shown walking down the street back to the museum entrance.

"It sure is a beautiful day today," said Link cheerily. His stomach, however, wasn't feeling all that much better either.

By the time they got back to the closed gate entrance, they were surprised to see that all the teams were missing.

"Hey, where'd all the teams go?" said Zelda, looking around. She was about to freak out about it.

"I don't know, they were here last night-a," said Mario. "What-a happened?"

"Well, the museum is still closed," Link pointed out. "I think we're still okay."

Luigi looked through the gate to see if he could find what they were looking for in there. Most of the museum was shown to be an outside area.

"Do you see anything, Luigi?" asked Link, looking through the gate also.

Luigi shook his head. "Just a bunch of old-a aircraft exhibits and a parking lot."

Regardless, Zelda had decided by then that she had no intention of letting other teams go first, so she was going to stay right in front of the closed gate. Seeing what she was doing, Mario & Luigi decided to do this too. This made Link feel nervous.

CONFESSIONAL:

LINK & ZELDA: Newly Dating

"Okay, here's the thing," said Zelda. "There were two gates at that entrance. The big gate was for motorized vehicles, and the small gate was for civilians to walk through. The security guard was going to open the small gate first, and that meant that teams were only going to be able to enter one at a time. That's why everyone was making such a big deal out of it."

END:

Not long after, the five teams that camped out were shown walking back to the museum entrance.

"Oh look-a, there they are," said Mario, spotting them.

Peach and Lucas spotted the other two teams waiting right in front of the gate.

"Why are they standing where our bags were at?" said Daisy, getting suspicious.

"They better not be thinking about taking our spot in line," said Ness.

When all seven teams reunited at the gate, Ness and Daisy confronted Link & Zelda and the Mario Bros to ask them what they were doing.

CONFESSIONAL:

PEACH & DAISY: Princesses/Best Friends

"When we got back to the museum entrance, we politely asked Link & Zelda to let us go first like they promised… and Zelda said no," said Peach. "The moment she said that, my mouth nearly dropped."

"Yeah, I was stunned," said Daisy.

END:

"So… you're saying you're not going to honor the agreement that you made with Ness & Lucas last night?" said Daisy, disappointed in Zelda.

"Well… apparently so," Link shrugged while beckoning towards Zelda, indicating it was her idea.

"You've got to be kidding me," said Ness, getting upset. "You promised us you would let us go first."

"What are you talking about?" said Zelda. "I never promised you guys anything."

CONFESSIONAL:

NESS & LUCAS: Best Friends

"That was a bull-face lie!" said Lucas, exasperated.

"Unbelievable," said Ness, shaking his head. "Zelda somehow thinks she's entitled to do whatever she wants just because she's the princess of Hyrule or whatever."

END:

"You can't be serious," said Peach. "We just spent the whole night sleeping in the cold outdoors on hard cement with our backs now aching, and you guys think you can just spend the night at a hotel and then lollygag your way to the front? No way. I don't think so."

"What's going on?" Jigglypuff asked, feeling curious.

"There's a dispute going on," said Fox.

"I sure hope it doesn't turn into a fight," said Krystal.

"Mario, I'm surprised by you and Luigi," said Peach, who was now getting on their case about it. "You two know better than to break promises with people."

"Yeah, come on, guys," said Ness to the Mario Bros. "I thought y'all were better than that."

"W-What do you mean-a?" said Luigi, getting really nervous. "We're not- we're not-a cutting. We're-a going last just like we promised you guys."

"Yeah," said Mario, going along with it, "in fact… we were-a just about to go to the back of the line." So Mario & Luigi left the conversation and went to the back of the line. Zelda shook her head at them for this, unimpressed.

"Zelda, come on, this is stupid." Link didn't want to be involved in this situation. "Let's just let them go first like we promised."

"You mean you promised them they would go first," Zelda pointed out. "I was busy getting directions from Fox, remember? I never promised them I'd let them get ahead."

"Oh my gosh, you're impossible!" said Link, getting frustrated with her once again.

"You can go to the back if you want, Link. I'm staying here. I deserve to go first."

"You just think you're soooo privileged, do you?" said Ness, getting cheeky with her. "You think that just because you're some spoiled princess that's used to getting whatever she wants that you can just cut in front of people whenever you feel like it?"

"You dare question my character?" This accusation caught Zelda off-guard. "How could you even say that to me?"

"Oooh, this is getting good," said Bowser Jr., rubbing his hands together in anticipation.

"Guys, come on, this is stupid," said Link.

"You think you're privileged because of your so-called royalty status," Ness continued. "You think that gives you a pass to break promises with people whenever you want to? You're pathetic."

This made Zelda furious. "Don't you dare question my character!" she boomed. "That is no way to talk to royalty! I never made any such promise that I would allow you to get ahead of us!"

"You're a liar!" said Ness.

"Zelda, please calm down," said Link, now getting worried.

"Come on Ness, please don't make this any worse," Lucas begged. "Some of us are civilized here."

"No," Ness was completely unfazed by Zelda's wrath. "I'm not letting this joke of a princess get in MY way. Not a chance in heck!"

"Whoa!" said Link, getting very upset. "Ness, lay off! You don't need to talk to her like that."

"That is it!" said Zelda, who finally gave up. "I'm not going to hang around some foolish child who has no respect for royalty." While walking to the back of the line, she looked back at Ness. "You better hope the Goddess Hylia has mercy on your soul, you little brat!"

Ness made a face at her in response as she and Link walked to the back of the line. The whole thing couldn't have been more demeaning for Link & Zelda. It was enough to make them wonder if this was how P.T. & Lucario felt when teams were antagonizing their gameplay.

CONFESSIONAL:

LINK & ZELDA: Newly Dating

"I got mad," said Zelda. "Ness had no right to disrespect me like that. I wanted to leave first because I was sick of being last, and I never even had any part in that stupid agreement."

END:

"…What the heck was that, Ness?" said Lucas, completely shocked.

Peach & Daisy shook their heads at Ness in disbelief.

"Ness, that's a bit much," said Peach, disappointed in him.

Ness didn't care. He was so mad he couldn't even speak.

CONFESSIONAL:

MARIO & LUIGI: Brothers/Plumbers

"Yeah, we were upset-a too," said Mario. "Just-a when we were ready to play for ourselves."

"I just didn't think the other teams would actually attack our character like that," said Luigi. "Especially Peach & Daisy of all people."

END:

Fox wanted to help ease the situation by letting Link & Zelda get in front of them. This, however, only made things worse.

"Hey, just what the heck do you think you're doing?!" said Bowser.

"Y'all can't keep cutting in front of people like that, that's cheating!" said Bowser Jr.

"Yes, we can. We got here before you did," said Link, getting mad at the koopas. "Idiots."

"Oh my gosh, this is ridiculous," said Kirby, growing annoyed.

Suddenly, Bowser got an idea inspired by what Ness did. "Hey, Zelda. You're nothing but royal GARBAGE! Slimy, disgusting, garbage!"

"Yeah, go throw yourself in a landfill," Bowser Jr., feeling encouraged. "You're trash!"

"HEY!" yelled Link. "Don't you EVER talk to her like that! Just what the heck did she do to you?!"

But they didn't stop. They were going to continue trash talking Zelda till she decided to go to the back of the line.

"Zelda is nothing but a self-entitled little garbage princess!" Bowser Jr. retorted even further. "She reeks of sewage and rotten fish! Ewwww!"

"Yeah, you're not fit to lead any kingdom!" Bowser continued with joy. "You're an embarrassment to your royal ancestors! You're as spoiled as garbage!"

"You better quit right now while you still can!" said Fox, who was also getting angry at them.

The excessive insults the two koopas continued to throw at Zelda was almost enough to make her cry. Nonetheless, she stood her ground and didn't go anywhere.

"Hey Zelda, I've got a new nickname for you," said Bowser. "From now on, we're calling you Garbage Princess! Ha, ha, ha!"

"And not only that, Garbage Princess has even turned her lame boyfriend into her own personal garbage truck!" Bowser Jr. retorted. "Always constantly making him carry her around before he eventually DUMPS her! Bwahahaha!"

"Seriously?" said Link. "Is this how the game is going to be played? Whenever people don't approve of your gameplay, let's just gang up on you and bully you? It's absolutely asinine."

END:

Bowser & Bowser Jr.'s trash talking had gotten to a point where everyone was telling them to stop. Pretty soon, however, the clock was at 7:59 am. The canine security guard from last night came to unlock the gate. Once the clock struck 8:00 am, he opened it, and as soon as he did, the teams frantically ran through the gate one by one.

"Go! RUN!" cried Daisy to Peach as Ness & Lucas were running past them. The vulpine and the puffballs were running neck and neck with each other. As Mario & Luigi were running past the koopas, Link & Zelda were lagging behind again. The koopas were running close right behind them, until…

"OW!" cried Zelda all of a sudden, having fallen to the ground completely crushed under the weight of Bowser, who had landed on top of her. Bowser quickly got back up and ran off while Zelda hysterically called out to Link for help. She was now injured.

"Liiiink!" she cried.

"Zelda!" cried Link, running back to her. "Zelda, what happened?"

"Bowser happened! Who else!?"

"What did he do, knock you over?" Link helped her up.

"He just trampled on me, Link," Zelda complained. "He's a psycho!" She then showed Link her scraped elbow, which now had blood coming out of it. This sent Link over the edge, who now started breathing menacingly.

"That. Is. it!" Consumed with rage, Link grabbed Zelda's hand and they continued running after the other teams.

As the racers ran around the aircraft exhibits in the outside area, no one knew where to find whatever it was they were looking for.

"Jigglypuff, come on!" cried Kirby, looking back to her.

"Where are we supposed to go?" said Lucas, running in circles.

"Is it back here?" said Peach

"Maybe it's over there!" said Bowser Jr.

"Fox! Fox!" said Krystal, frantically.

Suddenly, Mario saw a red and yellow flag marker. "Luigi, over here!"

Daisy and the other racers quickly ran after Mario & Luigi to wherever they were heading.

"Go, go, go!" said Fox.

Suddenly, the camera showed a number stand containing seven number slips for the arwing rides. After spotting it, the racers were running toward it.

"Fox, it's over here!" cried Krystal while Daisy and Mario ran neck and neck against each other to get the first number. Suddenly, without thinking, the two accidentally ran into each other, knocking over the number stand in the process. This caused the numbers to scatter and fly all over the place.

"Oh no!" cried Lucas.

"Quick, grab them!" yelled Bowser.

Bowser Jr. quickly grabbed a number while Krystal grabbed a couple. Racers were bending over backwards in a scuffle with each other trying to grab a good number.

"I got one!" said Lucas, holding up a number.

"Me too!" said Luigi.

"Hey, where did all the numbers go?" said Kirby, looking at the empty numbers stand.

"They flew off-a," said Mario, getting back up while Link & Zelda caught up to everyone.

All seven teams were gathering around each other with their numbers. Luigi didn't like the number he obtained, so Krystal gave #4 to Mario & Luigi to let them leave earlier. Luigi in return gave Krystal their other number.

"Yay! We're number three!" said Jigglypuff, excited, holding up #3.

Krystal gave Link & Zelda #2 to let them leave earlier also, so Fox & Krystal ended up with the number the Mario Bros gave them, which was #6, but they knew they could catch up easily.

"Who got number one?" said Kirby.

"Boo yeah!" Bowser Jr. suddenly yelled, holding up a slip that said #1. "In your face suckers! We're number one! We're number one!"

Several racers were very displeased by this.

"Great," said Kirby, unenthusiastically.

Zelda, meanwhile, was crying from what had happened a moment ago.

"Zelda, what's wrong?" said Krystal.

"My elbow," Zelda showed her injury to Krystal, who then called for a medic to look at it.

While the medical team was getting Zelda bandaged, Link angrily confronted Bowser.

"You!" Link fiercely grabbed Bowser by the arm while yelling in his face. "Just who do you think you are, you jerk?!"

Bowser yanked his arm from him in retaliation. "What the heck is your problem you crazy weirdo?"

"You know what you did! You hurt Zelda! You trampled my girlfriend!"

"So what? Your stupid girlfriend got in the way!"

"So it was on purpose then!"

"It was an accident!"

"Liar!" Link yelled.

"Link, what's the matter?" said Fox, coming over to see what all the fuss was about now.

"Link here thinks I intentionally hurt his precious Zelda," said Bowser. "Yeah right!"

"You trampled her on purpose, you vile peace of filth!" said Link once again.

"Link, calm down," said Fox. "It's not worth getting angry over." Link, however, ignored him and continued to berate Bowser.

"You're a monster! You have no reason to do any of these horrible things to people! You- you…"

"Haven't you begun to understand, you little twerp!" sad Bowser. "We're evil. That's our shtick. It's our whole identity!"

"That's no excuse for you to act like a jerk!" said Zelda, showing her injury.

"Yeah!" Jigglypuff agreed. "You two are playing way to rough. Now you apologize!"

"Oh, please," said Bowser, rolling his eyes. "I'm not even sorry that I hurt her by accident."

"Besides," said Bowser Jr. "When you're evil like us, you get to say and do any bad thing you want. It's the most liberating feeling in the world. Muahahahaha!"

"Y'all won't feel so liberated once you get everything your karma owes you!" said Link.

"Ooooh, I'm scared," said Bowser, mockingly.

Link growled menacingly.

"Link don't!" said Zelda, holding him back just in case.

"I'm going to make you sorry for what you did!" said Link.

"Oh yeah? Bring it on tough guy!" Bowser dared him to attack.

"Don't even think about it, Link!" said Zelda, not wanting to get kicked out of the game.

While Link and Bowser continued going at it, other teams had their own reasons to be upset.

"I cannot believe what has happened here!" said Peach, completely aggravated. "We were the first team to arrive at the museum, but then… this happens, and now look at where we're at." She held up her number card to the camera, which said #7. "We're in dead last place!"

This meant Ness & Lucas had #5, meaning they would be the fifth team to get in an arwing.

"It's not fair!" Peach continued. "We should be leaving first since Daisy touched the numbers first!"

"It's all Mario's fault," said Daisy, angrily pointing her finger at him. "He's the one who knocked me over!"

"No I didn't," said Mario, "you ran-a into me!"

"No, you're the one who tried to shove me out of the way. On purpose!"

"I did-a not!"

"Yes, you did!"

"Seriously, Luigi?" said Lucas. "First y'all go and try to break the agreement with us, now you're trying to shove your girlfriends out of the way to get in first? That's messed up!"

"That's a lie!" said Luigi, shocked by this accusation. "You know we would never do such a thing-a."

"Liar! Y'all are totally trying to sabotage the game! You're just as bad as Bowser & Bowser Jr."

"Boys, please calm down," Peach pleaded to them, but the fighting continued.

"I did not trample your stupid girlfriend on purpose, Link!" said Bowser.

"Yes, you did! Zelda said so!"

"We are not sabotaging the game!" said Luigi. "You're just trying to make us look bad for no reason!"

"You are too!" said Lucas. "Why don't you just admit it, you coward!"

"Come on, guys," said Jigglypuff. "Can't we all just settle this in a peaceful manner?"

"BUTT OUT!" they both boomed at her loudly. This made Kirby angry.

"Hey, don't yell at her like that!" said Kirby. "She didn't do anything to deserve that!"

"This is all your fault, Fox," said Ness, pointing his finger at him.

"WHAT?!" said Fox, shocked by this unnecessary accusation. "Me?! What did I do?!"

"You and your stupid alliance building! That's what's caused all of this to happen in the first place!"

"You're blaming this all on Fox?" said Krystal, instinctively coming to her boyfriend's defense. "We've done nothing but help everyone in the best way possible. How dare you!"

The whole situation had gone completely out of whack, because now, EVERYONE was fighting.

"Admit it, you and Luigi are totally trying to sabotage the game!" said Lucas to Luigi. "You're playing like schmucks!"

"No, we're not-a!" said Luigi.

"You don't ever shove a lady like that!" Daisy accused Mario once again. "I don't know what Peach sees in you!"

"I'm telling you; it was an accident-a!" said Mario, desperately trying to defend himself.

"How are WE the problem?!" said Fox to Ness. "We let you guys go first back there, just like you asked us to!"

"And yet, you love to screw people over when it comes to plane tickets!" said Ness, still hung up on that.

"That's not true!" said Krystal. "Take that back!"

"Just because you're mad at each other, don't take it out on me!" said Jigglypuff to the Lucas and Luigi. "Jerks!"

"Your pathetic girlfriend is nothing but mere garbage!" said Bowser to Link. "Why should I care if she does gets hurt?!"

"Because you're the one who trampled her you jerk!" said Link. He was so irate, he looked like he was just about ready to tackle him. Fox and Zelda had to grab hold of him to keep him from doing so.

"Link stop!" cried Zelda.

"You're an abomination!" Link yelled at Bowser.

"Link, let it go!" said Fox.

Link refused to let it go. He was only getting started. "Someday, I am going to light a bomb flower and SHOVE it down your throat so you can feel yourself get blown up into A MILLION PIECES!"

"Oh yeah?!" said Bowser, trying to think of a comeback. "Well you can kiss my scaly BUTT …and you can pretend it's your dead mother!"

(Gasps)

That was all Bowser had to say to set Link off. Breaking free of Fox and Zelda's grasp, Link out his sword, and gave out a battle cry. "YAAAAARRRRRGGGGGGGGGG!"

Link tackled Bowser. This shocked everyone. Bowser and Link were now punching and kicking and slashing each other ferociously. Bowser even started shooting flames out of his mouth in defense.

"Go Dad!" yelled Bowser Jr. "Kick his butt!" Wanting to get involved in the fun, Bowser Jr. decided to shoot flames out of his mouth towards Kirby just simply because he hated him.

"Bwahahahaha!" Bowser Jr. laughed maniacally. This angered Jigglypuff.

"Why you little! THIS MEANS WAR!" Jigglypuff tackled Bowser Jr., performing double slap on him.

"Pike-thunder!" cried Ness, defending Lucas. He shot a lightning bolt at Fox until Krystal used her staff to deflect it away from him.

"Guys, please, stop fighting!" cried Peach once again. Suddenly, however, Ness's lightning bolt nearly hit her. "Yikes! Oh, that is it! Now I have to bring out the frying pan!"

"Pike-thunder!" cried Lucas, shooting a lightning bolt at Luigi.

Luigi shot green fireballs at Lucas in retaliation.

Wanting to help Luigi, Krystal took out her staff and attempted to tackle Lucas, only to be intercepted by Peach and her frying pan. This shocked Krystal.

"Sorry Krystal, but Lucas is my friend," said Peach while pressing her pan against Krystal's staff.

"I thought I was your friend too…" said Krystal. She didn't want to hurt her, yet still.

"I guess that's just how this game is going to have to be between us…" said Peach before they started fighting with each other in combat.

Meanwhile, Daisy was giving Mario the punishment of a lifetime by attacking him with her own frying pan. Mario defended himself by throwing fireballs at her as well, but she deflected them with her frying pan.

One of the fireballs hit Kirby. Mistaking it for Bowser Jr.'s, Kirby went and tackled him to get back at him for doing so.

The camera panned out to show all seven teams fighting each other. It was utter chaos! There was punching, kicking, karate chopping, fireballs, magic attacks… The whole situation had turned into a warzone!

Link threw an explosive bomb at Bowser, who took cover in his big spiky shell.

Peach and Krystal were engaged in a catfight with each other as Krystal's staff met Peach's frying pan.

Ness tried to hit Fox with his baseball bat, but Fox deflected it using his deflector shield, sending Ness flying in the air.

Zelda tried shooting light arrows at Bowser, but his shell was indestructible.

Mario continued to struggle with Daisy's anger as she furiously swung her frying pan at him.

Luigi tried to double-kick Lucas, but Lucas flew himself in the air to evade him.

Kirby & Jigglypuff were attempting to tackle Bowser Jr. at the same time, until suddenly…

Darkness surrounded the area. A huge, dark blackhole had formed in the sky, and suddenly, out came every Smash character's worst nightmare: Master Hand.

The giant, white gloved hand came out and swooped down to break up the fight.

"TIME OUT!" Boomed the all-powerful Master Hand. This petrified the racers.

Out of fear, the seven teams had stopped fighting. It was at this moment that all seven teams knew… they were in big trouble.
