Danny POV
The doorbell rang and as usual, I gave a smile.
"Welcome!" I said, exciting to see another person, or a ghost, here.
It's usual ever since I opened this store.
It's one of the many things I like to do since I fundamentally own the place.
When I turned to see who it was, it was a new ghost that I didn't know.
"Are you open? Sorry if I'm coming intruding or something-" The ghost ranted, but I quickly waved my hands and said, "No, no, it's fine. Just sit down while I make some tea, okay?"
He nods before sitting down on one of the chairs, patiently waiting for the tea to be ready as I prepared it.
Once it was done after fifteen minutes, I sat both of our cups on the table as I sat on the opposite side.
"So, what's your name?" I asked, curious because of the new ghost.
"Name's Walker. I'm what you call a 'sheriff because I keep those who step out of line," He briefly said.
I nodded, now interesting in why would he come to my shop.
"Had a bad day or something?" I asked, trying not to make it obvious to want to know.
"Yeah," He mumbles before sipping the tea.
"One of the ghosts in prison escaped and since then, I couldn't find them," He vented.
"I see..." I said, feeling sorry for him.
"Have you seen a ghost that, I don't know, randomly appeared?" He asks.
"Can't say I have," I truthfully said while shrugging.
"Well, then..." He said before getting up.
"...If you do see something, please contact me," He spoke while passing me his number before leaving.
I stared at the card for a while before hearing the doorbell ringing again.
"Yes, hello- Oh, it's you," I said, shocked to see Phantom again.
It was usual for me to see him, but I knew something was up with his face drenched and him sweating.
"What happened, now?" I asked, identifying that he did something wrong.
"W-Well, why can't we drink while I tell you?" He stutters, knowing that I know he did something.
"Alright," I said smugly.
I made our favorite tea, Esan tea to be precise, while hearing Phantom sitting down on a chair.
Once the tea was done, I gave a cup to him, which he thanked me.
"So, what exactly did you do?" I asked, 'dying' to know what he did.
He choked before clearing his throat and said, "Well, I may or may not... Broke out jail?"
"What?" I asked after a few moments of silence.
"Well, a ghost name Walker is basically the main chief of all the ghosts that go to jail. He's the one that makes the rules and sentences them on what crime they did. For me, he gave me one thousand years of jail time," He sipped after finishing explaining.
I started to sweat and said, "Well, recently, before you came, he came to me."
Phantom spitted out his drink and yelled, "WHAT?"
"Yep, and he said to contact him in case I see 'him,'" I said while waving the card.
He gulped very nervously and said, "Please, please, don't do this to me!"
I looked away while trying to decide if I should call Walker or not.
"Look, Danny, I'll do anything!" Phantom pleaded.
"I'll pay you, get you more of those ghosts plants, let your family have some ancient artificial ghost art! Just don't tell him!"
"Are you trying to bribe me or something?" I asked, looking all smug.
"I can't believe I'm saying this, but yes, yes I am."
I hold my laughter while looking at Phantom again.
"Alright, I won't tell him-" I said, seeing Phantom's face filled with hope. "-But, you have to fly me to places through a month."
When I said that, I knew that it would make Phantom slightly pissed.
"And, pretend to be my date."
Okay, that was on accident, but the way Phantom blushed was worth it.
"I-Is that all?" He asks, still blushing.
"Yes, that's all. And it'll start tomorrow," I said while smiling like a fool.
But hey, I get to troll that ghost that I liked for so long to be my date only for one month.
After that, it'll go back to normal, I guess?
"See you tomorrow, Phantom," I waved as soon as he finished his drink and left.
'Can't wait to have you under my control for one month~,' I thought while blushing.
'Can't wait...'
