Sephie, Clarisse and Luke were dropped off at the front gates of Grand Central Station by Dionysus in the strawberry truck. The god of wine said that he needed to drop off a few pallets of strawberries at Demeter's store anyways. On the way Sephie asked how to make wine the mortal way. Dionysus happily told her knowing where this was going.
With her allowance money that she saved over the years, Sephie bought three first class tickets for the first train that was going west. And which stopped at Denver, Colorado before it turned to go to Seattle, Washington. They boarded the train and prayed that they would not meet up with any monsters.
They got into their cabin to have some sort of privacy. Luke was nervous. This was his first quest since the one where he got his scar. That was also the day Kronos tried to get him on his side. It didn't work.
The trio decided to go to the dining car to get something to eat. They didn't worry about money. Since Sephie was raised as a Roman, she was always prepared. That included emergency money.
"Who do you have so much money?" Clarisse asked
It did not surprise Sephie. Clarisse was a yearlong camper. She did not get out very much.
"My mother written dozens of books. And some of them are best sellers. So she has a lot of money. And I get a big allowance." Sephie said
"What about the jewelry? When I was in your cabin yesterday I saw a lot of jewelry." Clarisse asked
"My family all love me." Sephie said
They were eating their meal when Sephie's necklace dropped out of her shirt. Luke the necklace.
"What's up with your necklace?" Luke asked
Sephie looked to the pendent and chain that was around her neck. It was a lightening bolt and trident crossed like an X and cased in a circle. Triton made it so Sephie could think about Jason when they were not together at the moment.
Triton had one commissioned just like Sephie's for Jason as well. And the minor sea deity, sea messenger told the couple that he had some magic put onto the pendents so they could know that if the other was okay or not.
"My brother made it for me. It is connected to another one just like this one that is around the neck of a Roman demigod." Sephie said
"What's their name?" Luke asked as he lifted his soda to his lips
"His name is Jason Grace." Sephie said
Luke choked on his his soda. He never thought that he would hear the surname Grace again. Especially after what happened to Thalia years ago. And Thalia said, before her own demise, that she believed Jason to be dead.
Luke kept this to himself in fear of what Sephie may do. After their meal the trio went to their cabin. There they found Ares sitting in it.
"Lord Mars." Sephie said giving the war god a small bow
"Lord Ares." Luke and said giving the god a small bow like Sephie did
"Hi dad." Clarisse said giving her father a small wave
Ares stood and gave his daughter a hug, which Clarisse returned and a kiss on the temple.
"I'm so proud of you." He told his daughter
"Thanks dad." She replied
Clarisse needed to hear that from her father. She was starting to have self doubt and self esteem issues. Ares turned to the other two demigods that were in the cabin with him and his daughter. He had a stern look on his face.
"I need a favor from you three." Ares said
"What is it?" Sephie asked crossing her arms and standing like she was giving the god of war attitude
The gods all knew Sephie liked to prove herself to them while she does quests. But Ares and many other gods all think that Sephie needed to prove it to herself while on the quests.
"There is a water park a mile west on a road called delancy. Then through the tunnel of love ride. That is where Hephaestus hidden something of mine." Ares said
'That doesn't sound good.' Sephie thought to herself
"Why would my grandfather hide something of yours?" Sephie asked
"He wants to catch me with Aphrodite together and humiliate us on the godly tv that he and Hermes set up years ago. And since you are his granddaughter, and one of the smartest girls all the gods know, you can figure out how to stop it." Ares said
Sephie heard the stories. She knew that her grandfather was a very jealous man. And he has a temper that is like a volcanic eruption. Some of which is tied to his handicap, and his domain.
"We'll take the quest father." Clarisse said
This made Sephie and Luke groan. When Clarisse was in the bathroom at dinner, Luke told Sephie that Clarisse always tries to prove herself to her father. Sephie said that there are people at camp Jupiter like that. But it was mostly the legacies that had the most problems in camp.
Ares took off in his own godly way. But he did leave a note for the three demigods though. It was the address of the water park. They sat down on the seats waiting to be in Denver.
Clarisse went and got everyone snacks and drinks. She had a list of what things to get. Luke said that he eats a lot on trips. Said it was a tick to calm down his nerves.
"A dimidium-sanguis enim majores natu deorum: Num pervenire sedecim odds contra omnes. Et videre est in fine mundi somno. A heros est anima mea, in maledictione reputabitur ferrum benedictionibus et metet. A unum et arbitrium eius terminum dari. Conservare aut Olympum AEQUO." Sephie muttered as she looked out the window to the landscape that zoomed by
"Why are you muttering the great prophecy in Latin?" Luke asked as he munched on some kettle corn
Sephie turned back to her friend.
"I do that when I'm nervous. Every child, no matter demigod or legacy, at camp Jupiter learns the prophecy when you are old enough." Sephie said
Sephie picked up a root beer.
"I've never heard the great prophecy. Can you tell me?" Clarisse asked
"'A half-blood of the eldest gods. Shall reach sixteen against all odds. And see the world in endless sleep. The hero's soul, cursed blade shall reap. A single choice shall end his days. Olympus to preserve or raze.'" Sephie said in English
Clarisse thought of the prophecy.
"When was the told?" Clarisse asked
"About seventy years ago when the big three took an oath not to have anymore children. Because they didn't want the prophecy to come true." Sephie said. "But Jupiter and Neptune both broke the oath they made."
"You know that Zeus had broken the oath he made with his brothers seventy years ago?" Luke asked in the most obvious tone of question in his voice
"Yeah I do. I know about Thalia, Luke. I know what happened to her. And by your reaction earlier at dinner, you know the story Thalia was lead to believe." Sephie said in a soft voice
"What do you mean?" Clarisse asked with a look of question of in her eyes
"When Jason was about two years old, his mother couldn't take it anymore. Two demigods from two aspects of the same man. One day she packed a picnic with her children. Beryl purposefully left something in the car.
"After walking for about 5, 10 minutes, Beryl made Thalia go and get it. While Thalia was gone, out of hearing range, Beryl prayed to gods. Juno came to the woman. Beryl asked the goddess to take Jason away from her, as she couldn't deal with a Greek demigod and a Roman demigod at the same time.
"Juno took Jason to the wolf house till he was old enough to go to camp Jupiter. When Thalia came back to her mother, she saw that her baby brother not there. Beryl told Thalia that Jason was gone. Thalia became distraught thinking her brother was dead.
"Thalia ran away thinking there was no point of living with her mother anymore. While she was on the run, she figured out she was the daughter of Jupiter's Greek form. And that's how she met you and Annabeth and Grover. And you know the rest." Sephie said
"How do you know all of this?" Clarisse asked
"Juno said I'm her favorite niece and I should know everything." Sephie said looking to her hands
"What's the wolf house? I've never heard about it." Luke asked
"It's where Roman demigods go to be tested before journeying south to camp Jupiter. And it's ran by the same 'wolf', named Lupa, that had raised Romulus and Remus before they built had Rome. The wolf house was built by Jack Landon, who was a son of mercury, in Sonoma Valley, California. He wanted to live in it before it burned down the week after it was finished." Sephie said
"My dad was right. You are smart." Clarisse said
"I somehow always astound people. They believe that my father is stupid and reckless, they expect me to be the same. But before Minerva ever came along, my father was the chief strategist." Sephie said
The conversation changed from Thalia and the gods to Sally Jackson. About the books she written. The trio talked and laughed the rest of the way there. Sephie soon dosed off.
Sleep was something that Sephie had trouble with growing up. She had really bad demigod dream. Especially when she was about to do a quest.

Clarisse and Luke were standing in front of all the demigods at camp half blood. A black haired guy in goth like clothing was right next to him. A redhead was sitting on a stump nearby.
Jason was in a orange Camp Half Blood shirt and standing next to a historic looking 'elf boy' who was standing next to a native looking girl.
"Chiron believes the great prophecy has begun. If you don't know the prophecy it goes like this. 'Seven half-bloods shall answer the call. To storm or fire, the world must fall.'" Luke said
"Sanguines septem semis respondendum vocationi tempestatisque ignem mundi cadant iuramento ultima secum spiritum in Aequis arma portae mortis." Jason finished in Latin
"You just finished the prophecy. 'An oath to keep with a final breath. And foes bear arms to the Doors of Death.' In Latin." Luke said
"There's a quest needs to be issued. Hera has been taken. And we need a new prophecy. Rachel." Clarisse said
And as if on command the redhead, who's name is apparently Rachel, said…
"Child of Lightning, beware the earth. The giants' revenge the seven shall birth. The forge and dove shall break the cage. And death unleash, through Hera's rage.
"Sea fire along with Gemstone shall appear by Hera's hand and save lightening child's life."
Sephie bolted up from her sleep panting for air. This dream wasn't about the quest she was on. It was Jason's first quest for the Greeks. That something happened to Juno/Hera.
Sephie looked to her legion tattoo. SPQR it had said. There were stripes underneath that says how many acts of bravery she had. She received ten of them.
Most of them were from quests and Sephie's self sacrificing attitude. One of them was from the summer the San Andreas fault line acted up and they had a earthquake. Sephie was trying to get as many people to safety as she could.
A lot of people got a stripe that day. Sephie had a feeling after this quest, she would receive another stripe. Sephie always wondered why her mother never joined the legion. Sephie always had fun in the legion.
The parties were better. Especially when Saturnalia came around. Today Saturnalia ended on Christmas Day so there was a huge party fro the end.
